hey guys it's officer Ben here and today
I'm coming to you with a request I'm
requesting your donations to help raise
money to fund cancer research
the reason I'm making this specific
request today is because I signed up for
a Peloton ride Peloton is a non-profit
that organizes long distance bike rides
for charity and the money raised for
this charity goes to benefit cancer
research on August the 5th 2023 I will
be participating in a 101 mile bike ride
that starts in Columbus Ohio and
actually it culminates in Gambier Ohio
this is the route that the race will be
taking but in order to participate in
this race I must raise a minimum of two
thousand dollars and have that amount of
money donated to the pelotonia
organization here is how you can help me
so if you go to your computer and you
type into Google pelotonia then you come
down to the tab pelotonia is and click
give
from there you can type in my name
which is officer Ben
it'll bring you to my donation page you
can click donate and they have a couple
of things listed but if you want you can
donate as little as five dollars five
dollars is the minimum donation that
they are accepting but every little bit
helps with my social media reach I have
a following of somewhere in the
neighborhood of 240
000 followers on social media in order
to raise two thousand dollars it would
only request it would only require 400
of you to donate five dollars which is
not an incredible amount of money here
is something else that I would like to
commit to you guys
if you are able to raise this two
thousand dollars and help support me and
my efforts to participate in this ride
to benefit cancer research and you
subpat you surpass that goal of two
thousand dollars there's another ride
that is 184 miles that occurs on it that
Saturday and Sunday the minimum amount
of money to enter that particular ride
or the two-day ride is three thousand
dollars now here's the commitment I have
to you that if you as a subscriber to my
Channel or as a follower of me on social
media collectively raise double the
commitment so if we are able to raise
six thousand dollars for cancer research
I will sign up for the 184 mile two-day
ride for pelotonia
um for those of you that are curious I
showed the route before here it is in a
little greater detail it starts in
Downtown Columbus it goes south and then
it starts to go East a little bit and as
I said culminates in Gambier Ohio if I
participate in the two day ride it's
going to start in Gambier Ohio go
through small town of Mount Vernon up to
Fredericktown and then we're going to
continue west and south through Sunbury
and Galena and then it will end in New
Albany Ohio here's a little profile of
the elevation of the ride for those of
you who are curious
but again all I'm asking is that you go
to the pelotonia webpage you type in
officer Ben and that's when you will get
to my page donate as little as five
dollars every donation helps and if we
were able to raise a minimum of two
thousand dollars I'll be able to
participate in the one day Hundred Mile
101 mile bike ride if you guys are you
folks are able to
raise up to six thousand dollars for
cancer research for this charity I have
my commitment to you will be that I will
participate in the ride both days and I
will do my best to produce some form of
or some sort of video with as much
footage as I'm able to
gather from this ride and I will make a
YouTube video about it showing you guys
the uh the fruits or the benefits of the
donations that you've made on my behalf
so I would like to thank you in advance
for your donations to pelotonia and your
efforts to help fund cancer research
and I want to thank you for allowing me
the opportunity to participate in this
charity
through you guys with that being said
thank you for your support
I will talk to you soon
