On Thursday, June 13th,
2024, at approximately 2:15 a.m., the 8
precinct sergeant attempted a traffic
stop on a motorcycle. The motorcycle
fled and the riders decided to test
their hideand-seek skills against one of
CPD's hideand-seek champions. Let's see
how this worked out for them.
106 on a motorcycle.
Sorry it was loud. Uh I'm not
disengaged. It's northbound.
And that was
David 276. And it was a Kentucky Tag.
That's still northbound. It's going out
towards the park.
It went north.
It went all the way down to the stop
sign down here. I think Glen View. I'm
not sure if it went east or west from
there.
All right. Looks like they spun out and
probably crashed. I don't see anybody
there.
Driver was a male white
jacket white.
track there.
Okay, I'll head north to the bike trail.
84 Avenue 84
Avenue. I say they couldn't have made it
too far from here.
Got correction on the tag. It's David 8
Adam 276 Kentucky tag.
It's on a Harley-Davidson.
Angel.
Are
they walking bridges right there? That
little grassy area takes you right back
to the rear roof part.
Okay.
Oh, gotcha.
 Sorry.
 Where's the other
one?
 I don't know.
 All right, I got one
in the uh yard just north of
 Sorry, he
scared the [ __ ] out of me.
That's a male or female?
Female.
Do we need a medic or anything?
No.
Stand by.
 She's right here.
 If you want
to grab her.
 My My phone's right here.
Don't touch anything.
 Sorry. I I didn't
do nothing. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Where'd he go?
 I don't know.
 Be careful.
Jeez.
 Stay on your roof.
84 has a female.
84. Where are you?
just north of where SA was. I'll give
you an address in a second.
 Okay.
Did somebody having somebody on Eureka
as well?
Oh, is that you, DJ?
Okay. She was laying down right over
here.
She was laying down right here.
This thing's locked.
I'm going to be in the rear of the pink.
I'm with
you. 84 is 2395.
I
[Applause]
copy. Dude, that girl scared the crap
out of me.
Dude, I don't know how he had that bike
upright. They were
[Applause]
flying. Got something.
I can definitely ID the guy if we get
him.
 What's that?
 I can definitely ID
him if we get
him. I don't think he made it this far.
Yeah, they ran out of gas and had to
land on zone
one. I swear.
Hey, Sarge. She said that uh they both
ran
 I hear
 south from here.
 She hid
behind that thing and had no idea if he
ran east or west.
Yeah, right over here.
Okay.
You want to hold this alley? I'll run
out front.
 Yeah.
[Applause]
DJ, come back here. He's laying down a
couple houses north of your cruiser,
west side of the
street. If you move, I will shoot you
from here, buddy. I can shoot the head
off of a snake. You hear me? Walk back
to the sound of my voice. Walk back here
or I will shoot you. Do you understand?
Lay down.
I'm sorry.
That's what I copied. where the cruiser
was on the west side of the street.
From 280 north side
280
north your
jacket roll over on your
side. Oh,
what did you put down? Just
your phone.
 Yeah.
 Okay, I got it for
you.
 Did you rack?
 No.
Okay, we got him. We're good.
We're good. We got him in custody.
I copy.
Yeah.
Oh, I didn't even see
that. Two for two. Not bad.
All I could see were his knees and I
didn't want to spook him. So I'm like,
PJ, get back here.
