Real body cams is where we found this video. It's looking pretty good. So, we got high hopes. I also have high hopes for body cam bingo. So, I got some boxes here that haven't been checked before. I'm hoping this is going to be the time. So, got my marker, got my card, and got a great video. Let's see where it goes. >> And he spotted a white Kia speeding and dangerously cutting off other drivers. >> Love me from Florida. >> Activated his emergency lights to pull over the reckless driver as she pulled into a nearby driveway. Here's what the deputycher >> roll down all your windows. >> What? >> You were driving all crazy all the way down W. >> No, I was not driving crazy. We used my signals, didn't it? >> Yeah. And you cut off the big old truck. You're going like 50 miles in front of him. License registration, please for careless driving. >> That's not No, you I'm parked. You cannot pull me over. Registration provision. You cannot >> You can't pull me over in my yard. Sir, >> I'm just going to mention it again here briefly. If you are driving on the roadway and a law enforcement officer sees you and then you pull into your driveway or into your garage or wherever into a private parking lot, you could still be stopped. As far as I know, it's like that in all 50 of the states and probably every US territory. It you don't get a home base. It doesn't It doesn't work like that. So, this suspect is so wound up about the fact that she got pulled over in her driveway. I've pulled tons of people over in their driveway because sometimes you just you can't get through an intersection, you can't c catch up to them, they make a turn and you know, you can't follow them. So, you have to wait till cars go through the intersection, then you're trying to catch up. It happens. It happens all the time all over the United States. You're not free of committing crime in your driveway. So, stop that. >> License or registration? I'm going to pull you out the car. >> Sorry. No, you're not going to pull out. >> Yes, I am. >> No, you're not. >> No, you're not at all. >> Give me your license registration. >> I'm parked on my property, sir. >> It is a legal traffic stop. Now, give me your license, registration. >> Careless driving. >> Cut your license when I'm already in my yard >> for something I observed on W. >> Yeah, it doesn't matter. I couldn't catch up cuz you were going 60. >> I was not going 60. >> License and registration. >> Exactly. >> Give me your license, registration. You going to get out and you going to go to jail. >> No, I'm not. You got to pull me up out of here. >> All right. Mhm. >> You give me my license. >> I would have greatly appreciate it cuz you can talk yourself into going to jail right now. >> What? What's your problem? >> You should back there. >> I couldn't catch up. No, that's not the law. >> All right. Well, I appreciate your passion for the law, but you are ill advised. >> No, you are ill advised cuz you're using your power. >> All right. License or registration. >> That's not my car. You can pull it up. Run the tag. >> License and registration. >> Pull the tag. >> Okay. License then. >> I just sat here and told you that. But I got to keep repeating myself up. There you go. >> Oh, good gracious. There we go. Now we got some friends. >> I have a friend that works for a Gambia. >> Yeah, she was getting it. She was going She smashed off south on I think it was T Street and then she turns right, comes out to W. I catch up and she was fixing to turn right. She had ran that stop sign already and then uh after she ran that stop sign, she decided she wasn't going to turn right anymore. She whipped it left. Cut a car off and then she smashed it again. She's going like 65. I'm just keeping her in sight. And then she cuts off this giant truck and whips down Pleasant. >> What's the deal? She got a bad license or something. >> I don't know. I'm running it. I I don't know what the deal is. in the car. >> Almost done. 3 26. You copied the Florida 28 >> 26. Thank you. >> Rolling the windows up. >> It's just a normal tag. >> All right. Now there's four there. Now we're talking. on my door. Step out of the car. No, I'm not getting out. You do not have the right to search my car. I'm not giving you the right none of that. >> You have to step out. >> No, I'm not. I'm not stepping out. Not at all. No, I'm not. >> If you don't, you will be going to jail. >> No. No. >> Step out of the car. You're going to go to jail. >> Reason why I got to get out. >> 3:45. I'm on 7. Step out of the car. Unlock the car. >> I don't know what happened. I read it as a 2024 tag and it came up. It looks like it's going to be >> Get her out of the car. >> Hey, if you don't come out the car, I'm busting this window. >> Well, you need to come out the car. You need to come out the car. I'm only going to say it one more time. >> Get out the car. >> You don't come. I'm busting this window. You coming out and you going to jail? >> Bust out my window. >> Yes, I will. >> No. No, you're not. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Get out of the car. >> For what? >> Get out of the car. >> You don't have to know. For what? >> For cause. >> Get out of the car. >> What is your probable cause? That's not over here. >> Get out of the car. >> Come out of the car. Come out. >> Get out of I'm not >> No, cuz y'all Y'all is not You was You was investig. >> Hey, don't grind me crazy though, Bill. I'm a minor. I'm a minor. I I like my mama. >> Got weed all in the car. >> Got it. >> Going to jail now. >> She going straight to jail. >> Can I get my shoes? >> Come get me. >> Get me. >> You're going to jail. That's too late for that. >> You tell for what? I ain't even resist. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I did not. >> Shut your mouth. >> I didn't even resist y'all. That's crazy. >> And that's up. >> How you going to turn the lights on? How you going to turn the light? If y'all turn the lights on was already in the yard. >> You could do that. >> Turn the lights on right now. >> That is abusing our power, bro. >> No. >> That's not true. >> And you sitting here slinging me and stuff. >> Get your tail in the car. >> Can I get my other shoe? >> Get in the car. >> Can I get my shoes? >> Get in the car, >> son. Why are you handling me like this? >> Cuz you won't do what you're telling to. >> Why are you handling me this like this? >> In the car. >> I am handing me. You don't have to push me. >> Get in the car. >> I am a female. >> Get in the car. Get in the car. Shut your mouth. Get in the car. >> That is crazy. Can I get my other shoe? >> We'll give it to you to get in the car. >> W I invoke my fifth amendment. Tell my parents here. I vote my fifth amendment. >> I invoke my fifth amendment until my parent is here. Wrong with you. Get the my face. >> I don't get no. >> What happened to today's youth? >> Y tripping. Y that use my name. Am I right? >> So this kid steps out and he looks like he's about 6'3 and about 320. And just because he says he's a kid and he exclaims that he's a minor, that doesn't mean that we don't put handcuffs on you. Um especially when we actually have no idea who you are and you're the size of a giant. Um none none of that matters. Like you can be killed just as easy by a 17-year-old as you can by an 18-year-old. So when we're taking people out of a car where felonies are being committed and we're detaining people, it doesn't matter if you're 17 and his I know my rights, my fifth amendment right, I don't have to talk to you. That's absolutely true. We're not going to ask you any questions anyway, but simply handcuffing you and detaining you when you're in a car filled with marijuana. Um, like no one's violating anyone's rights. There is no right violating anywhere around here. So, no. And it's just a it's a great exemplar of the ignorance of that age. >> Let me explain something to you, okay? If you act like that and start kicking and bumping around or >> listen to me. Listen to me. I'm trying to be nice to you, okay? >> Sir, I'm being nice. I was not kicking and bumping, sir. I'm trying to see why y'all handling me like this >> because you don't follow instructions. >> Sir, I had no He had no reason to pull me over. If this man >> All you're doing is this. You're not listening. If you will just listen, >> then everything will go very smoothly. But you're not listening. >> Okay, I'm listening, sir. >> Okay, >> you have to follow instructions. Okay, we have a job to do. And once we get that done, everything will be okay. But you come out here and interfere and keep yapping and yapping. All it is is stirring everything up and making it worse for everybody. >> I'm just trying to avoid getting arrested. >> Okay. And we don't want to arrest you. But when you act like a fool, that's is what happens. >> I didn't act like a fool, sir. You have acted like a fool since I pulled up. >> No, I didn't. All this all this right here. >> Yes, sir. Cuz I'm trying to figure out why your deputy pulled me over. And you know >> you can get pulled over in your driveway. >> You're not listening. >> If you was I if I was just listen if I was swerving in between lanes and you seen me, why would you not pull me out on the street? You wait till I park into my in my household. >> Okay. Are you done now? >> Pull you over anywhere we want to. Even in your driveway. >> And that's all I wanted him to explain to me. And he >> But you got to you got to quit doing this. I was You got to use this. >> I wasn't talking, sir. I was letting him explain that to me. >> You can't stop talking. >> Nothing but this since I got here, sir. >> If you have a question, I'm trying to understand. >> Well, then listen. Nope. >> You can't understand when you're talking. >> You have to listen. >> You ain't got nothing on you, do you? >> No, bro. >> All right. Sit in the car for a sec. >> Damn. My bad. You know I'm big, bro. You trying to lift me up in this [ __ ] >> You good? >> Damn. I'm saying. Come on, though. Come talk to me right quick, please. So I'm saying though, >> so this is what this is the thing. >> I know. I know. I know. >> Hold on, hold on, hold on. So this is why that window is going to get busted. Roll down the window. We smell marijuana. >> I got you. >> There's a lot of marijuana in the car. She roll the window up say she not coming in coming out the car. So she's going to jail for that >> for obstruction and that weed possession. >> But you got to think about it, bro. It's how he came up talking crazy. >> I don't know. I got here and the car refusal to stop. >> Okay then, big bro. He didn't need to turn his lights on. Can I get out and show you? >> No. No. Just give us a second. >> Look, I'mma punch you. Look, he probably a little bit before you even get to that dip and we was already in the yard parked. We weren't even moving and he turned his lights on and got right behind us while we sitting in the yard. >> We can do that. >> Hey, man. You know, hey, I just got here. I don't know. I'll let you speak to my sergeant right there if you need to talk to him. But >> So, I'm going to jail. >> You being detained right now? >> All right. Well, can you call my mom? >> No, no, no, no. Give me a second. We'll find out. Like I said, we'll find out what's going on. >> All right. Well, then can you loosen up these cuffs or something, bro? >> Well, hell, I need something. Like, damn. I'm in cuffs and I ain't did nothing. Like what's going on? >> Well, you hostile and yelling and screaming and stuff. >> Yeah, cuz how y'all coming, bro? Like y'all grabbing up on my girlfriend. I'm a minor, bro. You throwing me in cuffs and doing all this [ __ ] >> It don't matter, man. Don't matter, man. >> Bro, y'all search me down already, y'all. See, I ain't got nothing on me. I'm not running from you. You need to calm down a little bit, buddy. >> All right, I got you. I'm calm down. >> Oh, that's a lot of weed. That's the devil's lettuce. Arizona has legal recreational marijuana. I don't necessarily like it. Um, it has exponentially increased the number of drug DUIs that we get. I'm not a big fan of it. Uh, in Florida, at least when this video was created, there is no recreational marijuana. So, you can't just drive around with a bag full of weed in your car like she did. Um, even in Arizona, you can't have a giant bag of weed um that's obviously black market weed that didn't come from a dispensary. was in his dispensary packaging. You can't even you can't even do that here. And marijuana is legal here. So, she's wrong all over the place. And weed smells like weed. It's not a whole lot of things that when you smell you're like, I don't know if that's weed or cumin. Like, you know what it is. So, if you don't want the officers to walk up to your car and smell the weed, maybe you shouldn't be driving crazy with illegal stuff in your car. Like I feel like that's a fairly linear line of logic. Like if you want to avoid the cops, maybe not driving crazy is a great place to start. Then it doesn't matter how if you pulled into your driveway because the cops wouldn't be behind you because you're not doing things crazy. But she did this. This is all her own doing. And I don't know how many times they said, "Hey, get out of the car." But when she was like, "Oh, no. I was fine. You're not fine. You didn't do anything fine." And you're terrible. >> You want these keys going with your brother or somebody else? >> Can you please cut me loose? >> No. You're going to jail. >> Please. >> No. You ain't gonna try and be nice now. >> Absolutely not. >> Me, too. You want the keys going somebody or my towing this? >> Can you My keys can't go, my brother. >> Okay. They're towing. >> Yo, please don't. Please don't. Can you give them to my brother? Please. Please. >> That's what I was asking. So, that's where it's going. All right. Yeah. >> Confident. Are you sure we get Mills over here? >> I couldn't because she was Yeah. All right. You got anything else on your person? >> Can I get my shoe, please, sir? >> I'm asking if you have anything else on your person. >> No, I don't have nothing on my person. >> All right. Cuz it gets you into jail. It's another felony charge. >> Can you tell my uh who you give my keys to? >> Your brother. Like you asked. >> Exactly. Like you said, >> I want to go pick up my girlfriend for her job, Sunshine Learning Center. >> Can you get my phone at the door? >> God. Good gracious. [Music] Please, please, sir. Please help. >> You know, uh, you said you don't have an ID or anything? >> You don't have one issued to you? >> No, I do. >> Okay. Is that a Florida? >> You know your social? >> Not off the top of your head. How old are you? >> 17. >> You're 17. How old is the driver? Do you know her? Like, who is she to you? >> She's 28. >> She's 28. Who is she to you? >> Do you live at this house? >> Okay. Is there an adult here that can take you? >> No, sir. >> Who's this guy right here? Do you know? Is he responsible for you? >> No. >> Is the other guy like your brother or something? >> My boyfriend. >> Your boyfriend? >> Are his parents here or somewhere? Yes, sir. >> Cuz he said something about his parents. He's 17, too, right? >> Yes, sir. >> Unbelievable. >> Probably going to cut her loose. >> Mhm. >> And then the brother's in the back of the other car. >> Okay. So, you turning her loose right here. I'm >> sorry. Brother, >> her her sister Dominique, calm down. I got 20. >> And then has to give the keys to that car to the brother. >> Okay. Yeah, that's that's fine. They're gonna give your keys to Tai brother and his >> I was just trying to make my way out the blocks. >> Going to jail, >> correct? >> He said I started calling you couple times. They're all 34. >> What is he going to jail for? >> Uh she going for obstruction and then uh possession of marijuana. >> Obstruction. >> I like it. >> All right, buddy. Let's roll. >> Hey, you can take I got to I can't move until you take these off, bro. I can't. >> Just You got the swing. I guess >> there you go. Look, I can't move. Out you come. Look how easy that was. >> Damn. >> Y'all can't be doing people like this, bro. >> Let's just as a ground rule say that if you're driving crazy in a reckless manner and you simply use your turn signals as you're whipping through lanes and intersections and not stopping at stop signs, but you use your turn signal. It doesn't negate all of the other craziness that you're committing by driving crazy. Like just take that into the world and go forth, >> man. You got to chill out, man. >> Bro, I was trying to, but he know he was dead ass wrong, bro. That [ __ ] didn't even make sense. >> He's totally right. >> Okay, my bad. My bad. >> How you going to see us do it way down there, but then you going to pull us over when we pull into the yard? >> Yeah, >> you can do that. >> Listen, chill out. >> I got you. >> Go over there. Go stand over there. Uh she was at part of a traffic stop that went south and the driver went to jail for some weed and some other stuff. >> I was trying to get uh she's 17. So I'm trying to get her in custody of a garden. >> So she wants you to have the keys. The keys are on top of the car on the back right there. >> But like can I know like how much weed was in the car? >> I don't know how much I don't know how much weed's in the car. >> Don't nobody know. >> The other police that one that arrested her that's doing a report that's the one you got just calm down, bro. Look, you've been cool with us this whole time. I don't know what your involvement is with them or if you knew that we was in that car or if you knew she was going to act like that when she gets pulled over or where she's driving crazy today. But I seriously can reconsider who you hang out with. >> Mhm. >> Just a forot. >> Yep. >> She's 17, so I called her mom to come get her. >> Okay. >> So, I don't know if we're going to babysit and hang out with her or not. >> Yeah. My phone. >> Hey man, you can have the car and everything in it. >> The keys are >> keys are on the roof. >> Hey, can you tell him go get my girl from work? >> Can you please tell him to go get my girl? >> Oh, you're so annoying. >> 32.4. >> Okay. >> Can y'all please let me go, man? Y'all can keep the I don't even care. I don't want to go to jail. >> Absolutely not. right now. >> See, >> follow her. Follow him. >> Quit screaming, please. >> Tell him to hurry up and go get >> quit yelling, please. 3:45 1915. >> Uh, to attack. Copy beginning. >> I ain't nobody. >> I said TAC. It's short for the tactical office. >> That's where we're going to go write your report. >> So dumb. >> I ain't say you attack nobody. >> You just obstructed. Yeah, you did obstruct. >> You're going to jail and you'll find out. It'll all be written in your arrest report. >> Yep. >> For your felony narcotics and your obstruction. >> Yes. >> The suspect was charged with resisting an officer without violence and possession of marijuana over 20 g. >> Nice. >> The suspect was issued a $3,000 bond, which she later posted. >> Nice. >> In court, she initially pleaded not guilty to both charges, but later amended her plea to no contest. >> There we She was found guilty of resisting an officer without violence and was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay $668 in fines and court costs. >> Okay. >> The judge withheld a conviction for her charge of possession of marijuana over 20 g. >> At the beginning of this video, when I first saw that suspect, I was like, "This is going to be great." And we only got one box on body cam bingo. So, I got the I know my rights. I got that one loud and clear. Um, which no one there actually knew anything. So, even that was wasn't exactly a statement of truth, but um body cam bingo. I haven't gotten to bingo yet, so I thought this was going to be good. Video was great, not great for bingo. We'll figure it out next time.
