Columbus police, I need somebody to come answer this door. >> You don't need nobody to come answer. What are y'all doing? It looks like your window was struck by a round, so we do need you to come to the door. >> What window? Come out here and I can show you. >> What window? I don't know. I don't It's not my house. Come out here and I can show you. >> So, how do you know that a window's been struck if you don't know? >> If you come out here, I can show you. >> have to come out for [ __ ] I'm in a bed. What the [ __ ] It's 5:50 in the morning. What's wrong with you all? >> So, what? Go do something productive, you damn dummy. All right. We're going to kick your door. This is by far one of the most unbelievable police at the door encounters you'll ever see. A mysterious bullet hole that no one can really pinpoint, no clear answers, and a whole bunch of officers demanding compliance from behind a closed door. And what follows will make any citizen who cares about his basic civil rights being respected feel the hair on the back of their neck stand up. What are y'all doing back there? What was that? What y'all doing? Yeah. I need somebody to come answer this door. This is Columbus police, I need somebody to come answer this door. You don't need nobody to come answer. What are y'all doing? It looks like your window was struck by a round, so we do need you to come to the door. What window? Where at? Come out here and I can show you. Uh I mean, what window? Where at? I don't know. I don't It's not my house. I don't know the windows. Come out here and I can show you. >> So, how do you know that a window's been struck if you don't know? If you come out here, I can show you. >> I don't have to come out for [ __ ] I'm in a bed. What the [ __ ] It's 5 It's 5:50 in the morning. What's wrong with you all? >> We're in a situation where either somebody comes to answer this door or we're going to kick the door open cuz we got to make sure people are good inside that room. >> Man, you dumb ass. Ain't nobody even there. At this point, the officers are clearly operating on assumption, not confirmation. They assume that the persons inside have something to do with what they noticed outside the building. However, probable cause requires facts, not uncertainty. And threatening forced entry is not a negotiation tactic. Under the Fourth Amendment, a home cannot be breached without a warrant, consent, or a clearly defined emergency. None of these is the case here. But watch how well these cops know and respect the law. Ain't nobody even Don't nobody even live over there. Shut your dumb ass up. You ain't kicking in [ __ ] dummy. Go to bed, bro. Shut up. Don't nobody live there, you damn dummy. Are you Are you done being a being a tough guy? Are you cool now? Shut up, bro. >> You cool now? Shut up, bro. It's 6:00 in the morning. Go to It's actually 5:44, buddy. Go to do something productive, you damn dummy. You're a tough guy, man. You're real tough. >> Shut up. Good morning. Someone up there? What's the problem? Hey, this is Sergeant Klace, Columbus police. Uh looks like a round went through that window upstairs. Uh if you would come open the door for us, that'd be great. Looks like there might have been a round through this door as well. If not, I'm going to kick the door in. Man, shut your up. Don't nobody even live there, you clown. All right. Stupid. We're going to kick your door. Are you dumb? Y'all Y'all getting in trouble for kicking my door in, you dumb ass [ __ ] Don't nobody even LIVE THERE. >> COLUMBUS POLICE. DUMMY. You's a [ __ ] You're not allowed to kick my door in. [laughter] You's a [ __ ] Nobody lives there, you dumb ass dude. Y'all Y'all bro. I got the biggest lawsuit on my hands, you clown. Y'all are some clowns. Clown ass dudes kicking my door in. Columbus police. Don't nobody live there, you clown. You dumb ass dudes. Don't nobody live there. This is the moment the police seem to forget their training, if they had any to begin with. The Supreme Court has made one thing very clear. A person's home has the strongest protection under the Fourth Amendment. Even a so-called welfare check does not automatically give police the right to force their way inside. And once that door was broken, their entire story fell apart. The emergency they claimed never actually existed. And now, every legal consequence falls directly on the officers themselves. This is why we had to do it. Uh-huh. Yeah, you's a you damn Went in there and kicked it in there for nothing, you idiots. Well, if someone would have been shot, then it wouldn't have been for nothing, so. >> Shut your ass up, you Yeah, you sucker you Okay. >> And I'm getting And you're about to pay me, you So, what? We'll leave the city clean for you. Shut up. You go to court. You Go to do your job, you pig. That's clearly why we were out here. That's what we were doing, sir. >> job. Do a better job. [ __ ] I'm glad you're okay, sir. [ __ ] I'm glad you're okay. Thanks for paying your taxes. You's a [ __ ] Shut up. >> So, after all of this, the cop has the audacity to say, "Thanks for paying your taxes." Translation: Thank you for paying our salaries so we can violate your rights. Thankfully, this time everything was caught on camera, and it will speak for itself in a court of law. But what do you think about all this?
