You are under arrest. So, do me a favor, stand up, put your hands behind your back for me. Excuse me. All right, now you're under arrest. Okay. Here, this is Detective Sinclair right in front of you. Yeah. He'll explain kind of what's going on. All right. Sure. Um I have reason to believe that you've been in communication, uh inappropriate communication, Okay. with a 13-year-old child. So, I work for a fairly large agency here in Arizona, and we have detectives that specifically focus on these type of investigations. They're called ICAC detectives, or Internet Crimes Against Children. Um our ICAC detectives do investigations primarily based on some sort of medium, either whether it be the Internet or cellular devices, um and apps on cellular devices that allow adults that want to do bad things to their victims that are under the age of 18, that are children. So, that's kind of what what these detectives do. They The ICAC detectives love this job because it's incredibly fulfilling to be able to take these predators, put them in prison, and know that they're not going to harm anyone else. From my point of view, it's got to be the worst job in law enforcement. Um it is the The investigations are lengthy. Um they're very detail-oriented, serve a ton of search warrants on Internet service providers, and um you know, the creators of different apps, and um and you have to deal with and converse, and you know, talk to and chat with all of these terrible people every day. So, it's a uh it's a trying job, not one I've ever done. Um I'm on the the tactical side of things, which on my side is also incredibly fulfilling. But, um the investigative side of this They're They're tough investigations, and uh my hat's off to the men and women that do them, cuz it They're rough.
