I don't know what to >> Uh, mom and then fire and then it's a what? Hey, real quick. I'm going to take you out of handcuffs and I'm going to take your hoodie off, okay? That way we can see the cut that you have. Take your hoodie off for me. Is it just those? Those look old. Are they old? Oh, those Yeah, those are a little Do you have any new That's from today? Okay. Ready? We're going to get up. There we go. Let's go this way. We're going to figure it out, okay? >> As officers search the crime scene, they have a conversation about what had transpired. And then it became obvious that something unexplainable is wrong with the suspect. >> There you go. Right there on the blanket. Unless that's where they put her. >> Him. >> Oh, it's a boy? >> Yeah. 12-year-old daughter stabbed 9-year-old son. >> Wow. All right. >> a big puddle like I would expect. >> Well, we don't know how bad the stab wound is. It could be a slash. Could be a slash, not a deep one. >> They were doing CPR on him. >> Sounds like a bad one. That girl's got to be all kinds of messed up. There's got to be some issues. >> So, they is this like an accidental or aggression or >> I don't think it's accidental. >> Okay. >> I don't know how you can stab your little brother three times in the chest. >> Oh, three times? >> An officer spoke to the girl's mother who was in utter disarray. She couldn't wrap her head around why her daughter would commit such a disturbing act. >> Okay. Can I sit down with you if that's okay? Okay, so right now he's breathing. They're doing everything they can. Uh but it's I just just talked to the doctor and she was saying it's all good things right now. >> Oh, thank god. Okay. >> So, >> They both like kids tonight. >> I I I know that this is a a probably I mean I can >> My little daughter and older than him. I thought she did something like that. >> I cannot imagine what you're going through right now. >> She's never been like grounded or anything. >> Yeah. >> like her. Like it's like they bully each other like brother and sisters but it's never they never like fist fight or do anything like that. >> This is completely >> in bed. He was downstairs trying to sleep. I don't know why she was down there. Like What the hell was she I don't understand any of it. All I know is I heard him screaming. The worst scream ever and I thought maybe he was having a nightmare so I started trying to wake him up and there's everywhere. He said she stabbed me. She stabbed me. I'm like And he started going in and out of consciousness and so that's when they told me to put him on the floor and do chest compressions. And I couldn't find my daughter anywhere. I was screaming her name and she ran out after she did it because she was scared. >> Right now she's safe and she's in custody with us right now. There's no words I can tell you that's going to >> It's so weird. Why would she do that? >> Those are answers we're going to be looking for and uh yeah. >> Yeah, like it's just weird. They don't I mean they don't really get along. I agree, but they never would have assumed she'd do something like that. It's crazy to me. Like she was like, "I don't know why. I just just I just I don't know." >> Well, and again like >> It's her own sister. You know that he will never forget her. She will never It will never be There will always be issues now between them. Like what the hell was she thinking? >> Little girl on the other hand was going through a nervous breakdown. Seemed as though she couldn't fathom how and why she acted in such a horrific way. >> Do you have anything sharp on you? >> No. >> Any knives or scissors? >> Carry her. >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. Just stay in there. >> Okay. >> Okay, relax. They're coming. Scoot your butt a little forward that way your hands don't get bound up. >> Yeah. >> I'm so sorry. >> It's okay. It's okay. >> I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to. I'm going to jail. >> Okay. >> I don't know what I did. >> It's okay. >> How it happened. I don't know what I don't know how it happened. >> It's okay. It's okay. >> I heard my brother screaming and I didn't know what to do so I just ran out and then I came back cuz I didn't cuz I was scared. Am I going to jail? >> You're not going anywhere right now. >> Will I be in jail? >> Right now, let's just you know, really calm down, little okay? I don't know what we're going to do right now, all right? >> Okay. >> But right now we're investigating. >> Okay. My brother's my brother is in the hospital. >> He's in the hospital right now, little lady. >> Yeah. >> Will he live? >> Pretty sure he will. He's the doctors. Doctors are all over there. They will take care of him. Your mom's over there, too. >> I'm so sorry. I don't believe it. He doesn't even care if I forgive him. >> It's okay. I know it's hard right now. Um just take a deep breath, you know? >> He ruined my life. I ruined my whole future. >> No, nobody's ruined life, okay? All right? >> It's all my fault. >> You're fine. You're fine. Nobody's fault, okay? Nobody's fault. >> I already know. >> What was that? >> I already know I'm going to lose him to jail for the rest of my life. >> You are not going to jail. >> Yes, they are. >> Nobody knows that, all right? Okay? You are not. >> What I did was super illegal. >> We are going to get through with this, okay? It's okay, sweetie. All right? Everything will be fine, all right? >> Okay. >> Everything will be fine. Your brother will be fine, okay? >> Okay. >> Just when the officer who was having a therapeutic conversation with the girl stepped out of the car, she began to have a panic attack overwhelmed by the weight of her own actions. >> It's all my fault. Please God. Please God, please help me. God. God. God. I'm sorry. >> There was a sudden shift in the girl's tone, which raised questions about her previous behavior. >> Are the handcuffs necessary? I'm a good child. >> Well, you're a good child, but that's what we have to do. >> The girl was transported to a child crisis center for questioning. When they arrived, the officers had a conversation that made it clear that the girl was in serious trouble. >> Will you take off the handcuffs? >> Let's Just through that door right there. >> Okay, so I'm going to take you back here. >> Just wanted to have the cuffs or you have to >> Yeah, we're going to take you out of cuffs, okay? Do you need to use the restroom? >> Actually, I could use the restroom. >> Okay. >> Can I take this >> Yeah, I'm sure you can. >> I need to use the restroom. >> I'll take it off. >> And before you use the restroom, I'm going to take pictures of your hands, okay? >> Okay. >> How was she handling here? >> She was asleep. She was good. >> Does she know? >> No, she does not know. I'm not telling her anything yet. >> Okay. >> What are you doing? >> I understand. >> The girl was told soul-crushing news. News she would never come back from in years to come. >> We have to figure this out. I don't care what happened. We have answers to get. He is a 9-year-old boy. >> Mom, we'll talk to you >> So, what I'd like to do is first of all, I want to talk to you, okay? And then Officer Jean will stay out here. And then you guys can talk and you can decide if you you want to talk to us, okay? We'll kind of go through all the steps with Mom and then we'll bring you in to kind of you know how it goes. And then we'll just kind of walk you through everything. And I'm so sorry for your loss. You understand that he's dead. Okay. Sorry to bother you. So, we finished talking with your mom. Your mom is still in the interview room with us. Um I'm going to bring you in there. You guys are going to talk by yourselves. There's no cameras running in there. And then we'll kind of guide you through everything next, okay? >> Okay. >> Do you want to bring your blanket? >> The girl was eventually admitted into a psychological treatment program. It was later discovered that she had stopped taking the drugs for ADHD, which could have led to her irrational behavior. No charges were filed against the girl. In the next case, we have Alexee Trevizo, a merciless woman who did the unforgivable to her newborn, which left her with a mother who couldn't look her in the eye. >> What did you do to it? >> Okay, stop right here. >> Stop. Stop. Like how big is the baby? >> It's full term. >> What? >> It's full term. >> Like 9 months? >> Something was crying. >> You put it in the bag? >> Yes. >> In what bag? >> In the trash bag. >> Why didn't you say anything to us? Do you want to get in trouble for this now? >> You could be in trouble for this. >> On January the 27th, 2023, officers were dispatched to a hospital after receiving a report of a woman who had thrown her newborn into a trash can after delivery. Upon arrival, the officers spoke to one of the medical practitioners who filled them in on the abominable incident that had just taken place. >> So, we started working on her all Um we did a pregnancy test on her, it showed positive. She denied that she had Um then she said she had to go to the bathroom. She went to the bathroom, she was in there for quite a while. We kept knocking on the door. Finally, we got her to open the door, and there was blood everywhere. She was cleaning it up. So, we took her back to the room, and then we I was afraid that she knew she was pregnant, she had done something to herself. >> Mhm. >> Um so, the doctor started doing exam on her. We had the lady come to clean the bathroom. She put the baby in the trash can, and then she put another clean liner over the top of it. >> Oh, wow. >> Okay. So, they look when they looked in there, it looked there was no trash in there, but it was underneath the clean bag. The baby's dead. Okay? We have him in trauma, too, but she killed the kid. >> Yeah, how old was her How old was the baby? >> I don't know, it's full term. She just had it. She had it in the bathroom was what happened. And then she Whatever she did, I don't know, she's going to lie. She wouldn't tell us she's pregnant. She's been lying the whole time. >> Okay. >> So, that's what's going on. Um I just pulled the doctor out of the room. So, nothing's been said to the patient or the mother that's in there yet. >> Okay. >> Um I have Lila, the housekeeper, if you want to interview her. >> Yeah. >> She's the one that kind of found >> Yeah, cuz I wanted to be with you guys first and then get with her to get her statement before I even do anything. >> Well, this I'm in charge and this is what has happened. You can interview the nurse that had her. >> Okay. >> The two nurses that were taking care of her, you can talk to the tech, which is Lori. She's the one that went in there and actually found it because Lila was like, "This is really heavy." >> Okay. >> So, then Lori went in there and then of course the baby was underneath the red clean liner. >> Okay. Yeah, we can we can speak with Lori cuz that would >> Okay, how about Lori? And I'll get >> So, so officer, so he's the first thing now is I need to make sure that the the mother, the one who delivered the baby, is medically stable. >> Right. >> Um I don't know if she delivered the placenta. She's bleeding a lot. I just got her checked in to the Lovelace. So, I need to get her up there as soon as possible. >> Okay. The tech is over here right now. >> So, how I need to tell her what's going on and I need to tell the mother what's going The mother and they're both in there together. Do is one of you willing to be be present for that conversation? Are you guys going to Okay, let's go in right now and get the nurse. >> While we're doing that, I'll get >> And then I'll call I'll make sure Lila comes down. Lori, all the other nurses and stuff are here and I'll get Lila to you. >> Okay. >> Could you get her a shirt? Hey, um Marina, will you get Lila back around here? Lori? >> Yes. >> Investigators and the medical practitioners proceeded to speak to Alexi and her mother. And what came out of their mouths left Alexi's mother in the most devastating position possible. >> I'm sorry. >> We discovered a dead baby in the bathroom. >> Oh my gosh. >> I'm sorry. >> It came out of me and I didn't know. >> Alexi, I told you about this. >> But if I just asked you, baby, to tell me the truth. >> It was not crying or nothing. >> What did you do to it? >> Okay, stop right here. Number one priority, guys. Number one priority is she just had a baby. I don't know if she's delivered the placenta. She's bleeding significantly. >> Yeah. >> I've spoken to the obstetrician at Lovelace. They want her up there as soon as possible. We need I need your I just need your permission to transfer her for medical assistance. She is >> She's 19. >> Oh, you're right. >> But she is a student, too. >> She's 19. >> You're right. You're you're right. She is a student. I'm sorry. I forgot she's 18. But you need to for to make sure that you are safe. I need to send you to Lovelace to labor and delivery. Will you please agree to that? >> Yes. >> Yes. I I agree with that. >> I'm going to work on that up. >> Um >> in terms I'm sorry about this, but in terms of delivering a baby and it looked like you tried to hide it. We do have to have the police involved. >> I did nothing was crying. It came out with nothing. >> I know. I know. But the the baby's going to have to be taken for autopsy and there'll be an investigator and everything. >> I'm going to sue you guys. >> I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. But we need to do this correctly. Um and I want to be transparent with you about what our steps are going to be. Officer, do you need to Do you guys need to talk to her before we get her transferred? >> How long is it going to be before you have the transfer? >> I don't know. Are we working on >> Okay. >> Maria, do you think 20-30 minutes? >> Yeah, hopefully. Yes. >> Okay. >> I got I got detectives on the way, so they're going to be talking to her. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Do you guys have I'm the charge nurse here. Do you guys have any questions for me? >> Like how big is the baby? >> It's full term. >> What? 9 months? >> Nothing was crying. >> Lexi, have you watched the news of the the girls that what they do to their babies and what they go to jail? >> Who was crying? >> Any Any Any Any other questions? Okay. All right. So, as of right now, like what I can say is we're going to have the detectives come over here and they're going to talk to you, okay? We have to gather some more information about what's going what's going on. They'll get your statement. They're going to get the doctor's statements. They're going to get everybody's statements, okay? So, I don't know everything yet, okay? So, I'm not going to tell you I can't tell you nothing, honestly, okay? All I can tell you >> not going to go to jail? >> Right right now No, well, right now she's being detained. So, she she's not going to leave from here at all, period. Okay? So, one of us will be in here with you. >> She's in your custody? >> Like Yeah, she's detained. Yeah, she's not under arrest, but she is detained, okay? She's not free to leave. So, while this whole thing is coming up is you're not free to leave, okay? One of us will be in here the whole time with you cuz you're not going to try to leave or nothing like that. >> She won't. >> I got you. The detectives will be here. They're going to talk to you. They're I mean, your care is of the utmost right now, okay? They're going to do what they need to do to take care of you to make sure you get stable. They get you transferred out or whatever. Like I said, the detectives already been notified. They're already on the way. So, they're going to come talk to you, all right? So, don't leave. Don't try to do nothing. One of us is always going to be in here in this room with you, okay? Unless we have to step out for doctor's orders, something like that, cuz if they need to examine you or do something with you. But other than that, like I said, you are detained. You are not free to leave at this point. Do you understand that? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Where was the baby at? >> I I know. I have no clue yet. Like I said, I just talked to the charge nurse. We're still getting all the information right now. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um once we get that information like I said, the detectives, they can clue you in on everything and talk to you more about it. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Officer Field Alexa leaned on how everything was going to play out. And that was when she knew that there was no way that she'd escape her foolish action. >> Um do you happen to have an idea on him per chance? >> Yes, she does. Okay. >> Can we get that info? >> Mhm. >> Got that information. >> Call Call again to dispatch. >> No, no, not on radio. >> Oh, okay. >> Hey, Tyree. >> You'll hear okay. I'll be back. Oh, Matthew, could we get your ideal social security number for you? >> yeah. >> You'll hear everything fine. How do you have your hair? Okay. >> Can I sit down? I'm going to call my husband. >> Yes, um yeah, you'll be fine. >> I'll be back. Can I get >> Is that the same person? Hey, could you do me a favor and run these two um and add to record call? Okay, it'll be uh New Mexico DL both of them whenever you're ready. >> Where did you put the baby at? Tell me the truth. >> Uh 517 >> 45 590 What is that? You put it in the bag? >> Yes. In what bag? Why didn't you say anything to us? Do you want to get in trouble for this now? You could get in trouble for this thing. All right, just give it a shot, okay? When the detectives are ready she's ready, okay? You ready for the second one? All right, last one you got the second one? Last one you got the second one next week, okay? Awesome, thank you so much. Hey Lexi, I know it's I know it's kind of tough right now, okay? I know you're scared and everything else, okay? As of right now I I cannot allow your mom to be in here with you, okay? So, once the detectives get here, then she may be able to come back in here, but as of right now I can't allow her to be back in here, okay? If you need something, we're we're not going to stay in here, okay? Cuz I I think it makes it worse having her in here, all right? Obviously, and I know you're scared. So, what we're going to do is we're going to stay on the outside of the door, okay? As long as you promise me you're not you know, you're not going to hurt yourself, okay? Like I said, I I this is a lot, I know what it is, okay? You're young, and I I don't want to be in here kind of adding to to your anxiety and everything else, okay? If you need something, just push that button, okay? And then we can have them come in here. They're they're they're they're on the way, okay? Okay? So, as soon as they get here, they're going to talk to you. I mean, the reason why Your mom Well, not yet. She can't come back in here until they get here yet. Yeah, once they get here, then it's up to the detectives to if you can get out of the room or if you can come back here. If they're okay with her coming back here, then come back here. Okay. The reason why is because you're an adult, you're 19 years old. If If you're a juvenile, she I would advise you to have a guardian. But because you're an adult, Do you have any questions? Don't say questions like that. >> Can I have her sign some forms? >> Yeah. >> Immediately, the detectives arrived at the hospital and an officer briefed them on the full extent of the crime. Leaving one to wonder what kind of heart could commit such an atrocious crime against an innocent victim. >> It's a crime scene. >> Why? >> Baby died. The baby passed away. >> Mhm? >> She had the baby before this. >> Sorry. Um she's still there. She's going to get uh her looked at and transferred out. For cuz she's still Whatever she's got going on uh we're going to transfer her out. Um the housekeeper um I didn't talk to her too much. She's got a brief statement coming. I don't know information. And then the nurse that actually got there got the baby in the ambulance in the bag. And then they rushed her to the trauma with the baby. The trauma was that that's when they started working. So, I got the bathroom um closed off. And then I got the trauma room closed off cuz they the trauma room they the housekeeper went in there cuz they called her to go clean up. So, obviously the first she checked the trash can. She cleaned everything up and then she threw it in the trash can. She looked in the trash can. >> The baby? >> Put it down. She looked in there and that's when she saw the baby in the trash. >> Right there? >> Yeah. So, then they took the obviously the baby and the trash can in the trauma room. Put the baby on the table and then that's when everything Everything actually went almost from the trauma room. So, yeah. But other than that, so I got both of those closed off. >> Okay. Cool. Hospital's complaint? >> Mhm? >> Hospital's complaint? For for medical services. >> Oh, and cleaned it up. Well, see she was cleaning it up first cuz so she was She said she was actually here with one of our other guys on Thursday. And she said hey, she needs to go to the bathroom. So they let her go to the bathroom. About 10 minutes later they went to knock on the door and she wouldn't come out. So they're like, "Hey, are you okay?" Check on her. She's like, "Yeah." They knock on the door and she wouldn't come out. They were there like another 10 minutes. And then they said we'll open the door. When she opened the door, it was blood, [ __ ] everywhere. So they called housekeeping. Obviously they didn't know that baby was in there. >> Well, yeah, but where's the baby? Is it up here? >> Yeah. That's how I just found out what happened. >> They had a truck. >> But yeah, like I said, she the housekeeper cleaned up the floor here first. And then when she put all her stuff, she just put it all her stuff into the trash can. Cuz when she felt the heavy weight was then she loaded it in the trash and she said she >> While Alexi was being prepared for transportation, officers gathered the necessary details they needed to contact her, making her realize that the case was only just beginning. >> They're They're looking for someone to talk to your mom. >> Um yes. >> Okay. >> Where I'm going? >> Yeah, the sheriff knows. Um detectives >> Is she going? >> Yeah, she should be. Detectives are up there talking with her right now. Um Do you have any questions for us? >> This is >> The detectives out here. I'll see you out here in a little Oh, thanks a lot. >> Uh >> The truck. So we're I hear Uh what? Yeah. >> Hey Alexi, so you're getting obviously you're getting transported, okay? So you're you're not detained no more. The detectives will be contacting you, okay? So they'll get all of you, so Let me get you a camera real quick. Okay. Give me a good a good phone number for you. Cell phone >> number? >> My mom's cell phone. 97 >> 97? >> 6 >> Okay. Are you currently at that address? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right, they'll be in contact with you, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. I'm leaving. >> I'll be posted up front. >> It's warmer than it looks. >> For me, not for these >> I don't know what the >> I was looking at it and I was like >> Your feet are pretty much all the way out there. >> Yeah. >> That's not too bad of a day. >> How long does it take to get here? >> Okay, I'm going to Yeah, 30 40 minutes. >> Once your feet are going all the way in. All the way under there, see? Once you get this thing started, we'll get some heat running. It's only in the short layup now. You can't see it on there. It's just following. I remember we were loading one of the rifles in there. >> Alexi Trevizo was eventually charged with first-degree homicide. Alexi's case might have left you heartbroken. In another shocking incident, we have Kiarra McCully, who conspired with her boyfriend, Isaac Apodaca. Took the life of a woman who came to them for help. Leaving Kiarra's mother in disbelief that her daughter could commit such a monstrous act. >> There's a deceased person in your garage. That's why it's a crime scene. >> body in there? >> Yes. He's uh really injured. So, for now, we're going to put you under detention until we can figure this out. >> You think it's possible you killed her? >> I'm guessing myself right now. I'm second-guessing. >> She planned it out. >> Grace planned it out? >> No, not Grace. Kiarra planned it out. >> Kiarra planned it out? When? How long had this been a plan for? >> She had planned it out since 2020. >> Kiarra planned to kill Grace since 2020? >> Yes. >> And you knew about it since 2020? >> On October the 29th, 2022, a woman named Grace Jennings got involved in a heated argument with her fiance. In order to get away from the drama, she put up a notice online that she was in need of accommodation. Moments later, a man, Isaac Apodaca, replied. Said that he had space in his garage, where he stayed with with girlfriend, Kiarra McCully. Grace Jennings immediately took her belongings and went over to Isaac's apartment and by doing so, unknowingly walked to her end. On October the 30th, 2022, officers received a call from Isaac's mother who reported that someone had committed the unthinkable in a garage. When the officers arrived, they hurriedly went into the garage and were welcomed by a bone-chilling sight. >> Put her in PC. >> There's blood on the door. >> Kick the door. I got you, Herbert. THIS IS THE APARTMENT. LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. >> BACK UP. >> Back up. >> What's going on? >> Who called? >> I'm good. >> Hey, stay off the radio right now. Yeah, we got one down. >> With Isaac nowhere in sight, officers spoke to Kiera and her mother, who definitely was prepared for the chaos that was lurking nearby. >> Who's Isaac's girlfriend? >> She is. >> You're Isaac's girlfriend? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What are you to Isaac? >> I'm kind of mother-in-law-to-be. >> This is your daughter? >> Yes, this is my daughter. >> Step out with me real quick. What's your name? >> Kiera. >> Kiera? Do you have shoes on? >> No. >> Okay. This is his girlfriend. Try them on real quick. >> Um, can I get some shoes on or something? >> Not right now. Do you have some shoes on? We detain at this point, okay? >> I have cats. I have to They they they can't be in >> Unfortunately, ma'am, but this is an active investigation, okay? So, nobody's going back in the house. >> somehow? >> No, this is a crime scene at this point. >> How is my house a crime scene? >> There's a deceased person in your garage. That's why it's a crime scene. >> in there? >> Yes. >> A dead body in there? >> Stand up for me. Just walk this way. Go and come here with me, man. >> Officers eventually got a hold of Isaac, who made a very brief but incriminating statement about his girlfriend, Kiera, making it obvious that the case held a lot more than they already knew. >> Do you have any knives, any weapons on you? >> No. >> No? Just put it down for now. Just put it down. You're not in trouble. Got to make sure you don't have any weapons, okay? Can you put your hands up right here? Right here. I get it. It's good, bro. Here, for now, bro, just because we're It looks like your girlfriend or whoever's in there is uh really injured. So, for now, we're going to put you under detention, okay, until we can figure this out. >> And I walk in the garage, she goes, "Oh, I just did it." I don't know why. >> And who who was this? >> Kiera McCauley. >> She told you that? >> Very calmly and everything, blood on her hands, and >> Once at the station, officers began to question the suspects, starting with Isaac. He had a mouthful of nerve-racking things to say, but also kept a few important details to himself. That was a huge mistake. >> So, this is what I want you to try and do, okay? I want you to kind of think back to where kind of all this began, before there was ever any anything regarding the incident, and I want you to kind of tell me, in your own memory, what happened from that time all the way to getting here to this interview. >> I had told I was talking to Grace, who was in the garage as well. I said, "I we have to go. Uh um She's She's telling us we need to leave. And I said that and then I proceeded to start packing my stuff. And I left the main house to go use the restroom for the last time. And then I walked it back into the garage. She walked up to me and goes, "I did it." with a smile on her face and I looked at the ground and I was like Uh so what do I do now? I was really scared because I've witnessed Sorry. >> It's okay. >> I I've witnessed my friend getting shot. >> Mhm. >> So my >> Separately from this? >> Yes. It was a while back. I was asked to be his best man at his wedding. And I was sitting in the backseat. Got his brains blown his brains out. And I went to >> Tell me. >> testify in court and I'm super Anything like this gets me super trum- traumatized. And >> Yeah. >> It's a traumatic event. >> I can imagine. >> And I saw my friend laying on the ground. If I This is going to be back to when I went back in the garage when I saw her in the ground on on the ground. I was like So I couldn't say anything cuz I was like This is another one of my friends gone. >> After questioning Isaac, officers proceeded to Kiera. She gave them a bunch of personalities that made the interrogation session more confusing than comforting. She must have thought that giving them more than just Kiera would let her off the hook, but she was sorely mistaken. >> Any of you like her today? >> I I believe it's cuz somebody was found dead in my room. >> Where's your room at? >> In the garage. >> Garage? >> Yes. I was trying to make sure this wasn't a break down. This is so weird. If you were to respond again Sorry. >> It's okay. Who are you talking to? >> Um My best guess is that I have DID, but I'm not 100% certain. >> What's DID? >> Dissociative identity disorder. Um I haven't had it actually diagnosed, but that's my best guess from my research. >> Mhm. >> Um they're different personalities that come out. >> Do you have names for them? >> Some of them, yeah. >> What are the names? >> Um there's Abby and um then there's we call her Jinx because she hates people saying her real name. >> Jinx? >> Yeah. >> Jinx. >> If you say her real name, she gets so mad. >> Jinx. >> Then there's one personality that I haven't seen in a long time. Like I haven't communicated with her. >> Which with who? >> N- n- n- Well, I tried. Then it was Jess. >> Jess? >> Jessica. We always called her Jess. There's the little version of me which actually responds to my biological name. My government name. Which is very dangerous for her and I don't I don't want her to get hurt. >> And how would you kill her? In your dreams. >> Dependent on the dream. >> So it's multiple dreams. >> Yes. >> How many? >> It's probably like a bunch of murder dreams, if you can call that. That a lot of different people. >> Not just Grace. >> Yeah. Grace is like the number I'm pissed at you. >> Have you ever talked to Isaac about any of your feelings towards Grace and you wanting or dreaming about killing her and stuff? >> I've talked to him about my dreams like a lot of times. He always has this hope that she'll be better than she was. He was the one who found the video in the first place. He found me and he tried to help me. >> Kiera kept up with her facade while releasing some information. But that really didn't seem to take the case anywhere. Even if she was trying hard to maintain her composure, it was clear that she was tense. >> Were you uh were you talking to Isaac last night? Were you guys messaging each other and >> I was trying to tell him to get her to leave. >> Was Isaac trying to push you to kill Grace? >> Yeah. I had my dagger in my hand and I took like and then just stopped like I felt a little kid's hand holding me back. Like it was Kiera telling me, "Don't don't." "Don't don't." Cuz that was also her best friend's sister. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> They're just so messy. >> Do you think you killed Grace? >> I'm not sure but >> She is dead. That's the dead person found in the garage. Do you have any memory of Do you think it's possible you killed her? >> I'm guessing myself right now. I'm second guessing trying to figure out if it was one of them or someone I haven't met yet. >> Is there any way to ask them? >> I would become when they talk. >> I see. >> It was like come on. Automatic I I know. >> Well Yeah, it's it's not >> Yeah, it's not ideal, but it's not the stupidest way of lying about it. >> There's really nothing. And it's it's interesting that you have that that kind of wisdom. Cuz most people come in here and >> Try to lie their way out of it. >> Yeah, and it's um it's very irritating. Uh Isaac tried to do a lot of that. And You know, we especially when there's messages and stuff. Has Isaac ever killed anyone? >> He said he did, but I don't know if it's true. >> Who did he say he killed? >> I don't know who, but there was a number he said, but I don't know if it's true or if it was stupid teenagers who are always saying, "Oh, my god, this baby. Oh, I killed this baby. Wow, that's so cool." Grace did that a lot. >> There was a number he said, like a number of people he killed. >> Yeah. >> How many? 40? 40 people? >> Supposedly. >> From what you can remember you don't know who killed Grace? >> I'm not 100% certain. I'm only guessing. I've seen Isaac get violent before. But I know how angry I am at her. And of course he's talked that before. >> Just when it seemed like the case it hit rock bottom. The officers got a hold of Isaac's messages with Kiara. And there was no form of excuse or fabrication that could save Isaac from the officers' observations. >> What would you like me to do? Stab her. I don't know. I don't have the energy to >> I don't know, man. These These messages look a lot like there's some conspiring going on, some planning going on. What? >> From that point where I was telling you from. >> Even before then, it sounds like you guys are planning something. You're fake getting thrown out and what? I'm really confused with everything that's going on. Like, you're telling me you have two phones now and those other messages aren't you and it it's what you're telling me, your statement, isn't lining up with these messages. >> Those were not my messages. >> Whose messages do you think they are then? >> They're from Kiara to using my Facebook from me to Kiara. But I can't quite explain how it looks. >> Kiara to Kiara? >> Yes. >> Why would she do that? >> She's been Like I said at the beginning, I was a part of domestic violence case. >> Yeah. It feels like it. Her feet are on my side. I wish you'd make the first move for once. Remember, you'll move up the ranks plus you get perks in the black market since this is your first. Your first what? >> She >> I didn't tell her what happened. Tell me what happened, for real. Can we stop making up lies about these messages? What the hell happened last night? >> She was messaging me planning on how to kill her. And >> Who was messaging you planning on how to kill who? >> Kiara. >> Kiara was messaging you on how planning how to kill >> Grace. >> Grace? >> Yes. >> And what were you doing? >> I was only sending a message back. Only in correspondence. I just wanted to sleep. That's what I wanted. >> Are you sure? Cuz it sounds like you're planning something with Kiara. Is that what's happening? Don't lie to me. What's happening here? I can see the messages. I'm not dumb. This isn't the first time I've done this. What is happening? >> She was planning on killing Grace. I just didn't want a part of it. >> It doesn't seem like you tried to talk her out of it. >> Even with the evidence stacked up against him, Isaac still thought he could walk out of the station without charges. He tried every means possible to clear his name, but that was only going to work if there was not enough evidence of guilt. >> And when it comes to this stuff, as I'm as I'm talking telling you, she I was only sending message back in the Koreans as I turned my back towards >> This isn't a grace. Remember you'll move up in ranks, plus you get perks in the black market since this is your first. This sounds like you're encouraging her. The messages are here, dude. >> I know. I know. But right after that, I was trying to fall asleep. Cuz I didn't want to be a part of anything. >> What did you want to do with these messages? Tell me since now. Did you help Kiera do this? >> No. >> No, but you knew it was going to happen. >> I knew it was it was going to happen. >> You knew it was going to happen since since last night. >> I knew it was going to happen since last night, but I just didn't want it to happen because it's a friend of mine. >> When did this plan start? Cuz this was planned. >> She planned it out. >> Grace planned it out? >> No, not Grace. Kiera planned it out. >> Kiera planned it out? When? How long has this been a plan for? >> She had planned it out since 2020. >> Kiera planned to kill Grace since 2020? >> Yes. >> And you knew about it since 2020? This to me reads like you're telling her her first kill. >> It sounds like that, but I was telling her cuz she walked it not walked, she leaned over like this to talk to me on the bed. Yeah. And I told her, "This will be your first way out if you just leave it alone." >> And if you can't do it, you'll have them do it. You'll have who do it? If you're talking about a way out, how is someone else going to give her a way out? What is holding you back? Type it. You're edging her to do this. Come on, Isaac. Isaac. Look at all these messages, man. You're going to sit here and tell me you're going to look me in the eye and you're going to tell me that you were trying to talk her out of this? I can see right here you're telling her to do it. What the hell happened last night, man? Why did you want her to do this? >> I didn't want her to do this. >> Why are you pushing her to do this? Tell me about all those messages, man. It sounds crazy, don't you think? >> I sound crazy, yes. >> What's going on there? >> I just they want I just wanted everything to stop cuz I got caught in the middle. >> You want everything to stop? >> Yes. >> What do you mean? >> I wanted everything to stop cuz I got caught in the middle of their two them twos. >> You wanted everything to stop? >> Yes. >> You know what those messages look like, right? >> Yes. >> How do they look? >> They look bad. >> How so? >> Very bad. >> How so? Tell me what's bad about them. >> They look like I was a part of it. >> Oh, yeah. Big time, man. So, tell me what really happened. What What's the point of all this? Why did this happen? >> The point was that >> It's over, Isaac. It's over. Look at me. Look at me. It's over, dude. It's over. What you can do from here on out is be truthful and help us understand why this happened. Mistakes happen, dude. You need to own it. Tell me everything. >> When Isaac realized that he couldn't escape the consequences of his actions, the truth began to come out. But even in truth, he was still being deceptive. He's still very much trying to get himself off the noose. >> Those messages were mean. Telling her how to plan it out. >> Yes. The quote. >> And when I and more throughout the night I was getting throttled. We got told to leave. I was told to leave. So was Grace. And I started packing my bags. When I finished packing I had to go pee. Came back. There was a dead person in there. Grace. Or what seemed dead. >> Mhm. >> Uh from there what I decided to do was call my mom. Cuz my mom's my safe spot. >> What do you mean here when you say that? I'll go. I am wanting you to kill her. You have to end your suffering by ending your her joy. >> In doubt of how everything played out, Isaac's parents went ahead to have a conversation with the lead investigator. What they didn't know was that no matter what they said, it wouldn't erase the evidence that they had against their son. >> So he saw he saw Kiara do it. He said he when he see when he said >> I heard that part cuz I didn't hear the rest. >> Yeah. >> He was saying no he >> I said, "Call the cops. Why can't you even call the cops? Why you call me?" So my husband that's when my husband gave me his phone. I'm with him on this phone. And I'm with the dispatch and I'm letting her know what's going on. And he's like, "I need to go. I need to get my bag." And I was like, "You cannot touch anything. That's evidence." >> Yeah. >> You leave it alone. >> Well, well, and I've just heard bad things about her from people that I know that knew her. Picking people on their down there. Spicing up someone with a knife almost stabbed him. Be very violent. They did that for a reason. She's dangerous. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I told my son all the time. My sister even said, "Don't go back with her. She's dangerous. Why are you going back with her? Why are you believing what she's saying?" >> And then recently I looked into Kiara's Instagram. And recently within the time leading up to Grace's death, they all were part of those weird, creepy videos. Like you could hear the sound of people dying in the background I wouldn't say. >> Yeah. >> And it it it's so creepy and it happened within like three or four days before the incident happened. And it's just weird. But then you scroll more down onto Kiara's videos and they're just like normal videos. >> In the end, Isaac Apodaca and Kiara McCullen were charged with first-degree homicide. Kiara McCullen was sentenced to 30 years in prison while Isaac still awaited trial. Following that is the case of this kid, a preteen who shot her neighbor during a dispute due to her mother's carelessness and her mother ultimately paid the price. >> After she shot my baby, she did it on purpose. And her mama got the gun from her and was like walking over by her again as if she was finishing again. >> Okay. >> I'm trying to let you get out of the car. >> Right now she's with the Child Protective Services. >> I can't find my baby. >> Right now, no. >> On May the 21st, 2022, officers received an emergency call concerning a kid who had opened fire on a woman with a firearm because she was arguing with her mother, Lucrecia Isaac. When the officers got to the residence, they went to where Lucrecia was hiding with her kid but received a reception as cold as a graveyard. >> Don't you say >> You're in the police department. You're inside. Come out with your hands up. Do it now. >> Officers tried their best to gather information from witnesses while also taking control of the environment, making sure that they got to the bottom of the situation. >> So, who is this lady here? >> She's the one who saw her run inside. >> You were outside when you saw the light turn off? >> You saw the light turn off, right? >> Yeah, when I got here the light was on. About 10 minutes after we were starting, it turned off. So, there's someone for sure in there. >> And it's both these windows? >> Yeah, it's all this bottom one. >> Oh, bottom floor, right? Whole bottom. >> Hey, go that way. Please. Stay away from these windows. Hey, hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Can you go around that way and around? This window right here is in play. Hey, don't walk this way. That window's in play. Apparently, the suspect's inside that window right there. Uh tape Can somebody get tape and tape this up so nobody comes this way? Yes. Uh go ahead. Go. Can you go help over there? Yeah, they're going. They're I sent people. Thank you. Hey, uh you guys can't go this way. Can you guys walk around? That building is in play. That window right there Hey, don't walk this way. Hey, hold on. Hold on. Don't walk this way. We don't want people on that window right there. That window's also in play. >> Yeah, it's one apartment. >> Okay. Um I need Can you help him Can you move your car out? Apparently 10-year-old in this apartment right here. This This window is in play. That door and there's a window on the back side as well. >> Hey. >> Stop. >> all those people gone. Tape on the other side of that building. >> No, hey. Hey. Hey. You're good. You're good. Tape it this way first. Hey, all those people got to I know you're in charge today, but for right now can you stand right here and make sure Yeah, I got you. And make sure nobody crosses this I got this right here. >> Yeah. >> I think the mom got in argument with the girl that got shot. The neighbor. 10-year-old girl. You got a You got a broken window on this side. >> If you got cover there, you're good behind the car, but I don't I don't want to be like this. Go back that way. Use the car for cover. There you go. >> Um so we're going to bring the if open and this I'm come out. You guys will handle all the announcements and then this way. >> I got >> All right. Maybe her, maybe her mom. Um I'll tell you what. >> She stay downstairs right here. >> I I understand like I understand I just don't want you in anywhere near that window cuz apparently there's a suspect in there and I just don't want you guys anywhere near that suspect. If they come out, we're going to push them that way cuz of the way the door opens. Um Rodney will have the best view of everything so I'll set up all the stuff over there. Um just be mindful of crossfire if Rodney steps out. This door right here is where the possible suspect is inside. Uh female, right? Like 11-year-old female? >> About 10, 11. >> Okay. Young female. There might be a mother inside from somebody that was just saying right there. I don't know. >> Moments later, chaos erupted at the scene turning the whole neighborhood into a war zone. >> YOU GOING TO JAIL. YOU STUPID STUPID. WHAT THE WRONG WITH YOU? YOU ARE IGNORANT. Y'ALL SHOULD HAVE WALKED that whole I would have took that child. >> They're staying in just one more. >> You drunk ass DRUNK ASS STUPID ASS COP. STUPID >> WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE DAUGHTER IN THERE? >> THE POLICE saving you. I want to make it a booking. SHE AIN'T GOING TO BOOK TONIGHT. I want to meet her. >> All right. >> All right. I want TO MEET YOU. Y'ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. LET'S GET ON that whole ass WITH Y'ALL TRYING TO GET >> CUZ Y'ALL SAVING ME. >> THEY IN THE HOUSE TRYING to get their story together. >> get their story together. Both >> Put down. >> They knew that. >> You know cuz she's drunk. >> Drunk [ __ ] you know cuz she's talking. >> 8:00 in the morning dragging them tall ass kids TO JAIL. >> NOT Y'ALL OFFICER. >> THE POLICE SAVING YOU. >> I WANT TO MAKE IT TO BOOKING AND SHE AIN'T GOING TO BOOK IN TONIGHT. I want to meet her. >> That's all right. THAT'S ALL RIGHT. >> I WANT TO MEET YOU. >> YOU STAY RIGHT THERE. >> SHE GOT TO NOT COME BACK THERE. WHY y'all won't let her out that car officer? >> of the daughter that Okay. >> No. >> Stop. Stop. >> Hey. Come here dude. Come here. Hey. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> We got to invite her in the house. >> All right. No. No. No. >> You're right. am a concerned CITIZEN. >> YOU YOU HERE. >> Officers spoke to a witness who painted a great picture of how everything played out, taking the case to the next level. >> Did y'all see it happen? >> Well, they was out here before it happened. Yeah, he was Yeah. Every time So I was The lady walked up to her and I said like something like, "Why you back talking to me?" It's somebody else. Why you back talking to them? Like she's mad cuz they was back talking to them. All that like that and she's telling her like with friends or whatever like that and you stand in the third again. We telling her like go back in the she was the other and I told her No, he was Yeah, the lady told me something Watch being being squashed up. Yeah, um she did that or whatever like that. The lady was The daughter was with her. The lady daughter wasn't with her. The lady daughter hadn't had been in the house and so like her mom took her arguing or whatever and had come out here and do that cuz she and she was Soon as we walked in the house like she pushed us in the house and shut the door. >> So she was the only one out here when it happened? >> No, it was more people out here. But she shot like everybody >> Yeah. >> And she shot her. Cuz she was She was out here. So when she walked like right there the little girl and the momma got the and her and or whatever like that. And um And the momma came from her. She was tiny like standing standing up still like standing over like walking over here or whatever. But then everybody started running up like to to bomb to hold her neck. And that's when they like took the little girl but her and the little girl was >> Some witnesses also asked the officers a very essential question and even the authorities weren't sure what the end game would be. >> How do we charge a case like that? >> Well, due to her age, it's going to be hard. It's going to be hard. >> Yeah. >> But >> But they can't charge her. >> She's still going to be >> Charge her. Cuz she did but if she handed her the bag and the little girl went in the bag and pulled the gun and they're fighting >> Well, then you need you guys need to be very specific when you tell >> Well, I wasn't here. I was home when they called me. But she was here. That's why I asked her, "Did you talk to the police?" Cuz they need to know this. >> Yeah, because then they >> They need to charge the mama. >> Well I mean, she get charged with something for sure. >> And she need to be that girl. You know, I know that girl when she was a little little girl. We all been in that They all been in that. I just moved out of here cuz 3 years ago my grandbaby got shot. Thank the Lord she didn't. She okay. She lived. >> The officers questioned the victim's boyfriend who angrily gave an account of what had happened. He was still in shock of how a young girl could behave in such an unimaginable way. >> Oh my god! Without hesitation, 10 years old. She got her bag. I I don't even know what it was. I know my girl she didn't know what I was talking about. What's wrong with the girl? Did the girl want to run? She was. >> Yeah, she came up and started >> Yeah, she started yelling and then she got mad and got loud and then hit Bone. And my She hit her bag. >> Okay. >> And then I tried to break it up and tell Bone, "Come on." And then when she snatched it from me I By the time I turned around the little girl >> Did you see where the girl got the gun from? >> I guess you know my mama got mad and put it back in the purse cuz at that point I knew that man I ran in the house. >> What color purse was it? >> I ain't even look up. Beige tag. Pink something like that. >> Do you know if it's like a cross body? Like a little cross body or was she going to wear it like a little >> It was like a little bag. It was like a little bag. >> Like a little tote? >> Yeah, I I ain't sure. I don't know. I don't She She put it back. I know She put it back. Then the girl took it out of the bag. I I just This crazy. How the little girl had the gun. The little girl had the gun. She pulled the gun out. >> Did you >> her face. >> Who are you in a relationship with? >> Lashawn Rogers. >> Lashawn Rogers? >> The victim. >> Okay. >> My baby. Oh my god. >> What? >> Oh my god. >> you can't? >> Tell me what what happened tonight? >> I don't really know. She came arguing the lady. We all that she came First she passed by then she came back again. She said something about my girl. My girl got got louder so she Take a seat because you It was some old argument that the judge called she came back and she got drunk. So now she come back cuz she drunk now. So maybe she had that she had a plan. Cuz Okay, anyway. They were arguing, right? Then she went and knocked her out in front of everybody to to prove that what is this lady talking about, right? Okay. I'm I'm back to I'm I'm turning the food in the grill. They getting louder and then then I heard the girl say, "You want You want to kiss my girl so I can kiss her back, too." And she hit my girl first. And my girl lady hit her back. Then it come on out to the They did the breeze like oh where the where the thing was grilling. And I was trying to hold her back and then she reached and hit again about I didn't tell my girl come on baby come in the house. Come in the house. She said, "Kill and shot her for me." So by the time I turn around like this, her daughter had a I think she I think that was a plan. I think they came to kill my baby. That's what I think. Cuz daughter had a gun she didn't try to snatch it out of the daughter hand. Like she actually watched the whole thing so she said, "Give me your gun." And she And she shot my She did like a girl or a I think she hit my mama but your mama hit my baby first. That's all I'm saying. You just shot my nothing. >> All right. >> OH MY GOD. THE little girl The little She I think she killed my That little girl fired a gun with one hand. She 10 years old. >> Further interrogation with witnesses brought new information to light and it was just a matter of a time before the case would come to a gripping halt. >> And the lady hit Bone. Bone like she kicked her shoes off right there in the breezeway. She kicked her shoes off and she hit the lady back. When she hit the lady back, the lady gave her daughter a book bag or whatever the book bag cuz she had a book bag on her back the whole time, but you know, you're just looking at somebody, you're not really you think it's just it's like a backpack, like whatever everybody carries book bags or whatever like that. So, she handed the daughter the book bag. When she handed the daughter the book bag, nobody really wasn't paying attention to her, but the little girl was like shuffling with the book bag or whatever. Nobody really wasn't paying no attention. You know, you saw it out the corner of your eye, like you're not paying attention cuz the fight is is right here. So, you know, she's like trying to break them up, like stop, you know, just stop or whatever like that. So, all you heard was like it it was in a matter of she hit bone, bone kicked her shoes off, bone hit her back, she handed daughter the book bag, they probably exchanged like two or three punches, and like that's what you heard, and everybody like and started running. And you turn around I turn around and the little girl was the the one that had the the gun, and she was like, you punched she was like, And the mama got the from her and was like walking over by bone again like as if she was finished again. >> Officers arrested Laquisha and took her to the station. While in the patrol car, Laquisha was a different person with each passing minute. And it made sense because only a crazy person would give her toddler a bag that contained a firearm. >> All right, attorney. Don't say my child unless it's on camera. Don't say my child unless you got a attorney. >> to talk to your child? >> Okay, I don't want you to I'm telling you that before y'all even try to talk to her. Don't say my child unless you got a attorney. >> We have not said anything. >> Okay, I know you ain't said nothing yet.
