This guy was just sitting in his car on the phone when this cop rolled up on him and started pressing him for no reason, unlawfully demanding his driver's license, even though the guy was clearly parked. Fair enough, but I'm doing my job. We're not even going to carry this conversation on because I want to see your license registration. No, you guys just did this to me yesterday. I have the power to ask you for your license. I'm filing charges against you right now. Fair enough. Right now. But here's how this is going to go. If you don't give me your license, registration, you're getting arrested for obstruction. Obstructing what? The process. Obstructing justice. Is that what you're saying? Obstructing a peace officer.
