I know I throw some shade on California, but Reading Police Department obviously is holding it down. So, thank you to Reading Police Department for putting this video out, dispelling any question as to if this officer was right or not, cuz obviously he was living on the mountain or right. Hi, I'm Brian Cal Police Department. The reason I stopped you is you're going about 60 mph in Apachelli as you pass me. So, right from the beginning, when someone rolls their window down that far, you already know that they're just you're not going to have a pleasant conversation with them. It's just it's not normal. I've done literally thousands of traffic stops. And the people that put their window down that far, every one of them makes it more difficult than it has to be because that's just the kind of person they are. Just not everyone's a great human. And people that aren't great very often put their window down that far. Can I see your license, registration, and insurance, please? I'm uh I'm not in the process of conducting business. We're not going to play that game, sir. So, if you don't want to identify yourself, I'm just going to place you under arrest and tow your vehicle. I love it. I'm traveling right now. We do that. So, along with putting the window down this far, as soon as that guy says, "Hey, I'm traveling." This police officer knows like law enforcement understands that there is this philosophy, this tactic, this lifestyle of being sovereign or being a constitutionalist. And he knew it. He knew it right from the start. And he was like, "Look, if you don't give me a driver's license, I'm going to place you into custody and I'm going to tow your car." I love it. It's the same thing, same laws that we have here in Arizona. You fail to provide evidence of identity, it's a crime. I can put my hands on you, book you into jail for it. It solves the problem immediately. I was unaware that California had a law that mimicked that. Obviously, they do. Um, so I love that. And this cop spent absolutely no time entertaining this foolishness. Okay. So, I need to see your ID and I need to see the registration and insurance on your vehicle. Okay. I like this cop already. So, you're going to make an adult decision right now. Okay. So, that's up to you. What do you want to do? Okay, you're going to be placed under arrest. There we go. Step out of the vehicle. Out of the vehicle. Hey, bro. Not a bro. 47. I'll take a 1025. Don't feel bro. That hurts. Yeah, that's the idea. Don't get out right now. Undo your seatelt. Undo your seat belt and get out. I'm traveling, sir. I'm traveling. Get out of here and get out of the vehicle. You are under arrest. I'm not conducting. Get out of your vehicle. It's a lawful order. Of your vehicle. Undo your seatelt. Do you understand me? Do you understand me? Undo your seatelt. These people step out of the vehicle, dude. Okay. Can they call me 8547? I think I'm closer. Undo your seat belt and get out of the You man. Undo your seat belt. No. And get out of the vehicle. Break my arm. I'm not going to break your arm. I don't want to. Look at all the opportunity this guy has to just comply. Be a nice human. Just be nice. Do you not want to get your seatelt off first? Like this guy's control. Let's get your seatelt off and we'll we'll do this easier. Break my arm, bro. No, dude. I'm not I'm tra I'm not You're under arresting business. You're under arrest. I'm not conducting business. You're under arrest. Even in California. I love it. Show me the magistrate. Magistrate. You don't want to identify yourself, so we're going to do that. Okay. You don't get to do this, sir. You don't either, bro. You don't get to go in my car and take me out and break my arm. I'm asking you to step out. I'm asking you to let go of my arm. I'm not going to do that. I can't reach my seat belt. You can do it with your right arm. No, I can't. You can do it with your right arm. I really like this officer. Super calm. Like it. Look at all the opportunity this guy has to get out. Pull you out and put you in handcuffs. Okay. For traveling. Yep. Yep. Are you going to be traveling somewhere? I'm not in the process of conducting business. 470. Take another unit. Get off of me, dude. What the is your problem? This officer describes it as a twist lock. Um, some of us would describe it as a wrist lock. Uh, it's a it's a great control move for someone who's in this vehicle. Obviously, it almost incapacitates this guy. Um, he says, "Hey, you're going to break my arm." officer very calmly says, "No, I'm not." And then gives him a lawful order to exit the vehicle. But that hold is painful. And in that position with your arm all the way out, twisted, and your wrist locked back is a great move to stop someone from using that arm. So, I love that this officer did it. Um, he held pressure on it. It totally incapacitated the guy. Notice that the only time the guy fought was when the officer released his grip so he could talk on the radio. Uh, but he really he had this guy under control almost immediately. And I love that. I love that he opened up his door, immediately, went hands-on. This officer obviously knows what he's doing. Get the off me. There isn't a problem, dude. That guy needs to be punched in the face. Look at all of this. Damn it, dude. What the resist? Stop. I'm not. Pull me over, man. Stop me. No, dude. You're attacking me, dude. Stop the off, dude. You stop. Get the off of me. Stop. No. You stop. Stop. You That guy seems to be assaulting the officer a lot more than the officer striking him. What? You're under arrest. You caught me speeding. Give me a ticket so I'll be on my way. He doesn't know who you are cuz you didn't identify yourself. The suspect in the vehicle is like, "Well, just just give me the ticket." Like, partner, that round's already downrange. You had that opportunity. The officer asked for it. License, registration, current proof insurance. You failed to provide that. He couldn't write you a ticket. He has no idea who to write it to. You You screwed all of that up. So, it's 100% this suspect's fault that he didn't just get a ticket. And again, now that he's realizing that there's going to be repercussions for his actions, he's trying to backpedal. It's too late for that, man. What are you guys doing? You're under arrest. You guys smash my face. Hey, stop requesting and put me under arrest. It's throw me the magister. You are under arrest. Put me under arrest. Put your hands behind your back. I think there's citizens helping. Right on. It's disarm. Outstanding. There we go. I love it. Thank you, citizens. My favorite part of this video is that random citizens saw this police officer struggling to take this subject into custody and they stopped their day and said, "Man, I'm going to help this guy." I love that. I just I hope that that Reading Police Department recognized those citizens that stopped and helped. Um I I I would love to be put in that position where I'm just John Q citizen driving down the road and I see a cop fighting with someone and I get to help. Um, and I I love that that this happened. I'm burning my face. All right. Got it. It's on my shirt. I love it. This one's not burning. I got you. There we go. Traveling. Thanks. Look at those awesome citizens helping him. What a great world. Nope. My car. Officer still super calm. Love it. It's a K9. Oh, I love it. There we go. All of that could have been avoided. I'm traveling right now. You're traveling to jail right now. Yep. Not in the process of conducting business right now. Take me to see the magic check, please. Let's see who see how that works. The difference between my agency and other agencies is this this incident happened. Then I'm sure this suspect probably got on social media and cried his woes about how the mean police officer beat him up. And then the police department had to put out this video in response to that subject's allegations that there was some sort of misconduct to show that 100% he was the aggressor and he was the cause of everything. where I work, if this were to happen, we would put it out the very next day because we want to show, hey, look, when you mess around, you will then find out. And this guy found out when he got drugged out of his car and booked into jail. That's exactly what should have happened. and reading would have been ahead of the curve if they just would have put this out and said, "Look, if you try this craziness, this tom foolery in our jurisdiction, this is what's going to happen to you. You're going to be drugged out of your car. You're going to be booked into jail. Your car is going to go to car jail and that's the way this is going to happen." So, they could have beat the curve just by putting this out pre, you know, preemptively. Um, so, and that's what we do here. We we put things out so that we let the citizens know, look, we're keeping you safe and this is how we're doing it. Cool beans. Yeah, I saw you. I was driving this way and this guy said, hey, needs help. So, I pulled over. [ __ ] Oh, well. So, they're still good people. Yeah, me too. I'm Brian. What's that, sir? [Music] Okay. Yeah, it's going to car's going to get towed. Yeah, absolutely. But I got citizens stopping to help. You know, that's how desperate I looked. What do you need? I need to be seen. See the magistrate and show you're going to go to jail. Show my victim. Where's my victim right now? Me? Yeah. Save the state. I'm just traveling. Yeah. You're traveling to jail. I'm not in the process of conducting business. This guy's awesome. American. Okay, cool. No. Anything else? This police officer is awesome. The judge. Yeah. Whenever the jail gets you over to the jail or to the judge. Absolutely. To see you right now. Perfect. Yeah. You'll get there. You're watching this now.
