Hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. >> Hands by your back. The officers struggled to restrain the driver, later identified as 29-year-old Anie Doli, but he managed to get the vehicle moving and from there the chaos escalated quickly. Get out. My drill unit. What unit was that? Was it 60 or 17? I'm clear 179 at Harmony. 23 at Harmony 239. >> As the car sped off [music] with Officer Buren being dragged alongside, he managed to fire his weapon which brought Doli's vehicle to a crash. The other officer was not far behind, hoping he would be able to assist the pair to get out of the crash. More units. >> Roll over. Roll over. Oh no. The bail. The handcuffs we need to go forward to one officer Bur. >> In the end, both officer Buren and Doli lost their [music] lives. Buren after being dragged and Doli from the bullet wounds. Take off your seat belt. >> Are you requesting me? >> I'm telling you to take off your seat belt and step out. >> Brian knew he was a person of interest, but his next move showed exactly why officers had been trailing him all along. >> Why don't we do this? Moving on to the moment officers came face tof face with Tequel Woodson, a man who thought he could overpower a cop [music] during a welfare check. Taser. Taser. Taser. Taser. Taser. >> On February the 17th, 2024 in [music] Suffach County, New York, county police officers responded to a domestic violence call at a residence on Udel Road in Beayshore. On arrival, the officers walked straight into harm's way, encountering 33-year-old Taquel Woodson. The attack on the officer came out of nowhere. Sudden, violent, and without warning. The other officers had only seconds to react, knowing that any hesitation could mean losing one of their own right in front of them. >> Taser, taser, taser. >> Fired. Fired. 303. Fired. Stand rescue. Stand rescue. >> Stand rescue. Stand rescue. >> Woodson was transported to a nearby hospital where it was determined that he had passed on. You're good. >> Stop reaching. >> Stop. >> Stop. Shoot him again. On October the 26th, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department's Fifth Division responded to what seems like a routine domestic violence call on the 2500 block of Riverbend Drive. The moment they stepped on the scene, for some reason they couldn't fathom, they could tell that this wasn't just another welfare check. They were about to walk straight into one of the most nerve-wracking, breathtaking, and dangerous moments of their careers. While investigating the complaint, officers spoke with 37-year-old Ivan Foster, who was asked to leave the residence by the homeowner. As they followed him into a bedroom to collect his belongings, his mood shifted fast, growing more agitated by the second. What started as a calm conversation was now spiraling into a situation the officers never saw coming. The stage was set for a nightmare no [music] one expected. >> I just want to make sure you ain't got no weapons. Then we're out of here, brother. You're good. Just grab your shoes. I'm trying. If I got to go out, this this this all I have. I don't have nothing. >> Grab it. >> There's a gun in here somewhere. >> In here? >> Yeah. In the dresser. >> There's nothing in here. Don't reach for nothing. Don't reach for nothing. >> There's nothing in here. >> Please. There's nothing in here. Well, that's not what we're hearing. When we hear this gun involved, we take it a little extra seriously. Y'all trying to me cuz she she know I I'm sure. >> Just sit down for me. >> Have a seat on the bed. >> Sir, just sit on the bed. >> Yes, sir. >> I have no Look, I do not have no gun. There you go. >> Nothing good, man. >> Stop reaching. >> Stop reaching. >> And just like that, the officers found themselves in a standoff. One wrong move, one misstep, and it could all be over. The line between life and death had never [music] felt thinner. >> Stop. Stop. >> Stop. Stop. Shoot him again. Again. He's down. >> He's down. >> Yeah, >> he's down. >> Get the gun off the [ __ ] >> I'm empty. I'm James. >> EMS arrived at the scene.
