Yes, sir. >> All right, sir. If you would, I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle for me real quick and we're going to have a chat over here about some stuff, okay? It looks like you do have some previous felony convictions from way back when. >> I don't have any felony convictions. >> You don't? >> No. >> You sure? You're going to arrest me before >> I have no idea what you're talking about. >> Well, the reason I'm asking you, all right, is because you >> convictions. >> Okay. You don't. Have you ever been arrested though? >> I don't know what you're talking about. >> I'm going to let you know right now you do have felony convictions, okay? >> No, I don't. >> You do. I had a I had dispatch run a criminal background check on you. But they said you have felony convictions. As a convicted felon, you aren't allowed to own a firearm. Okay. So, that's why we're arresting you. >> And you've never been arrested? >> I don't have any idea what you're talking about. >> Okay, do me a favor then. Face my car for me real quick. Put your hands behind your back, palms facing up on the top of your head. >> I don't take those tests. >> You don't? >> No. I invoke my fifth amendment right. >> Sir, put your car in park. >> I got to go. >> And you're not going. >> Excuse me, sir. What the >> Where are you coming from? >> I'm driving Lyft. This is not a traffic stop. >> It is, actually. It's a traffic stop. >> Can I look at the front of the road? Let's unviolate my rights. >> [music] [music] >> What's good, YouTube? It's BB Cast back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video it's from the Denison Police Department over here in Texas, where this Denison police officer falsely accuses this guy of being a felon. You will see in this video this officer asked him to step out of the car. He told him it was, "Hey, man, you know, you're a convicted felon. You're not allowed to have a weapon." This is news to this guy right here because he told this officer, "I ain't no felon." And you having this officer firmly believing that this guy is a felon, telling him, "Yes, you are." Then this officer wants to ask him what was the last time he got arrested. He just straight up said, "Man, I don't know what you're talking about." Because he already knew that this officer was trying to put him in jail. I'm going to watch it get my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get it to the video. >> Yes, sir. >> All right, sir. If you would, I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle for me real quick and we're going to have a chat over here about some stuff, okay? >> Okay, sure, man. No problem. Everything okay? >> Bring your phone. >> Everything okay, sir? >> Yes. Can I going to with you? >> Oh, no problem. No problem. Sure. You bet. >> You said that gun's under your seat still? >> I don't know. >> I think it might be in the glove box, too. You good with that? >> Yeah, as long as you leave it in the car, don't bring it out, okay? >> Oh, yeah, of course, certainly. Yeah, I mean, we definitely don't need any guns. >> No, we don't. >> All right, do you want to walk back here to my car real quick? >> Okay, sure. >> If you would, right here on the bumper. >> Okay. >> All right. If you would, put your stuff up on the hood for me real fast. >> This stuff? >> Yeah, if you would. >> Okay. >> All right, stand up. I'm just going to pat you down and make sure you have no other guns or anything else on you. If you would, put your hands on the bumper. >> Sure, man. >> All right. Okay. So, the reason we're having the conversation out here, okay? Um >> Okay. >> in the state of Texas, your gun has to be in a holster. It can't be flopping around in your the car, whether it's in a glove box or under your seat. It's called unlawful carry, which is fine, okay? >> Oh, okay. >> Um but that's why we're talking out here about it. Also, it looks like you do have some previous felony convictions from way back when, like about 2018 and back in the '90s, is that correct? >> I don't have any felony convictions. >> You don't? You sure? You've been arrested before? >> I have no idea what you're talking about. >> Okay. Well, the reason I'm asking you, all right, is because of you >> any felony convictions. >> Okay. You don't. Have you ever been arrested, though? >> I don't know what you're talking about. I have no idea. >> You have no idea? >> Nope. I have no idea what you're talking about. >> Well, I'm going to let you know right now you do have felony convictions, okay? >> No, I don't. >> You do. I had a I had dispatch run a criminal history on you. You have felony on I'll have to pull it up for you. Uh but they said you have felony convictions, stuff like that. As a convicted felon, you aren't allowed to own a firearm, okay? That's why we're having this conversation. >> convictions. >> You don't? >> No. >> Okay. Well, let me double-check and see what's going on, cuz dispatch is saying you do. >> No, I don't. >> So, that's fine. That's why we're having this conversation out here. >> had any felony convictions in my entire life. >> And you've never been arrested? >> I don't have any idea what you're talking about. >> Okay, do me a favor, then. Face my car for me real quick. >> Okay. >> Put your hands behind your back, palms together like you're clapping your hands. >> Okay. >> Put them >> [clears throat] >> together like you're clapping your hands. >> Okay. >> Well, let me throw you in handcuffs since you don't know what I'm talking about. Typical tactic by these police officers. >> Well, here's the you already changed. All right, until we can get this whole mess sorted out. I'm going to check with dispatch real quick and confirm all those felony convictions they're telling me there are, all right? They said you have an agg assault in 2018 and then some criminal mischief resulting in damage felony level. I don't know. So, let me figure out what's going on. >> the wrong person. >> Well, they ran it off your ID. That's what I'm saying. >> Okay, you guys >> Unless you gave me the wrong ID. Is that the wrong right correct ID you gave me? And is your name everything on there is correct driver's license? >> Yeah, that's my name. >> That's not your brother not a >> Something like that. >> Yeah, that's my name. >> Okay. Well, let me just figure out what's going on then, okay? >> [laughter] >> Agg assault. Felony mischief. What a crock. >> We can only see what we can see, you know what I mean? That's we're going based on what we see, so. That's why I said let him let him figure it out. >> Okay. No problem. >> So, you know, if it's not not you, we'll get you out of here. >> Appreciate it. Thanks. >> it. We got to figure it out. >> I don't have any felony convictions. He's got the wrong person. >> Like I said, that's why he asked, you know, was the ID correct all that kind of stuff. We're just trying to make sure, you know what I mean? >> I don't have anything like that. Definitely not. I was living in Texas in 2018 and I've never been arrested in Texas. >> Okay. >> So, [laughter and clears throat] that's a definitely >> Just other states or >> That's just a false statement. I don't I don't know other states. I have no idea. You know, that's that's a crock. >> Like I said, well, okay. We got to figure it out. It's kind of chilly out here tonight. >> Mhm. >> Hey Scott, what's your last four of your social? >> Five. >> down here in Texas or back up in Oklahoma? >> I live in Oklahoma. >> Okay. >> Yes, my address is correct. >> I I did I haven't seen your ID, so I just I know some people like they'll have Oklahoma registration and but live down here in Texas still. >> No. No. >> Cuz their registration [clears throat] tends to be cheaper than what our guys I try to keep it straight. I don't like to confuse people. I appreciate that. >> Yeah. >> All right. Well, let dispatch figure out what's going on with this. All right, cuz they're saying that you did have something. Dispatch is saying you do have something. I'm going to have them double-check it and run it again and make sure there's no kind of confusion or maybe they ran it with someone else with the exact same your name, date of birth. >> I don't have What What What you're What you're running into is probably a case of identity theft, more than likely. >> It It It It absolutely may well be. >> Yeah. I don't have any. I was living in Texas in 2018. >> Okay. Never arrested back then, nothing like that? >> No, sir. >> Have you been arrested at all? >> I mean, yeah, when I was a teenager, sure, but >> Not nothing nothing recent at all? >> No, sir. >> Then let me figure out what's going on with this cuz you're saying you've never been arrested, nothing like that. Obviously, I don't want to arrest you for something you're not guilty of, okay? >> It's not me. It's It's It's some kind of identity. You know, it's a mistaken identity or identity theft. There There's no telling, but I There's no There's Where are these felonies supposed to be at? >> All right, that's why I'm having them double-check right now. >> Yeah, I mean >> Cuz that's Like, if you're saying you've never been arrested for that, never committed a felony, then obviously they didn't need They need to check their stuff and see what's going on. >> No. >> So, give me a second. Let me sort out with dispatch to see what's going on, okay? >> Not me, buddy. Aggravated assault, really? >> you? >> No. >> Okay. Well, let me let me figure out what's going on. All right, let me figure out what's going on. In the meantime, where's that gun at? You said either under the seat or in your glove compartment? >> It's in my glove box. >> It's in your glove box, for sure? >> Yes. >> Sir, can my partner retrieve it real quick? >> you can go ahead. I can >> I appreciate it, man. All right. Well, let me let me figure out with dispatch what's going on. All right, cuz if they're if you're saying you've never been arrested, nothing like this, then I don't know either they're doing They're messing something up or like you said, they're running your name, date of birth and it's coming up with with something else. So, let let let them do their job and sort it out because obviously I don't want to arrest you for something if you're not guilty, right? >> Uh can I I'm cold. Can I sit in the car? >> Yeah, absolutely. You want to sit in the car real quick? Sure, man. >> Come on over. >> Hey, can I get my stuff? >> I'll leave it on the hood. >> Okay. >> You want to sit in the back? >> I got >> We good? >> Yes. >> Did we get this all written down? >> We did. >> All right, thanks. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. >> Yeah, I've got it. I don't even carry a loaded gun. >> Right. >> the clip in my pocket. For safety. >> All right, so this is your driver's license and your registration, okay? This is the copy of the citation, like I said, don't don't You need just one, okay? That's our citation. The only citation you're getting is your lane change, okay? You do have until February 2nd to take care of the citation. You got to call this number here or go to 300 West Main Street, okay? >> Okay, then. >> Any questions? >> Uh, uh, no, I don't guess so. You know, I'll probably go to court on that. >> This officer really thought he was going to have himself an arrest because when this officer mentioned about these felonies and this guy told him that he doesn't have any, this officer was like, "You sure about that?" >> It looks like you do have some previous felony convictions from way back when. >> have any felonies. >> You don't. You sure? You've been arrested before. >> about that, man? Please, just say yes so I can take you to jail. And even when this officer was asking him about if he got arrested before in the past and he was not even answering that, you having this officer feel some type of way about it. >> You've been arrested before. >> I have no idea what you're talking about. >> Okay. Well, the reason I'm asking you, all right, is because >> have any felony convictions. >> Okay, I'm going to let you know right now you do have felony convictions, okay? >> No, I don't. I'm sorry. >> And you've never been arrested? >> I don't have any idea what you're talking about. >> Okay, do me a favor then. Face my car for real quick. >> Okay. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Don't tell me I'm going to go to [ __ ] prison. >> Since you don't know what I'm talking about, let me just slap these handcuffs on real quick. And after this officer failed to get the arrest that he was hoping for, he just had to settle for a ticket. >> of the citation, like I said, don't don't You need just one, okay? That's our citation. The only citation you're getting is failed to signal your lane change, okay? >> But that's my take on that, though. Let me know what y'all think about it in the comment section. How do you feel about this Denison police officer for falsely accusing this guy for being a felon? This officer was really hoping he was going to get an arrest, but he kept on saying, "Well, I'm letting you know you do have felonies and this guy is telling him he doesn't have no felonies but you having this officer ask him over and over again well what was the last time you got arrested and when this guy was telling him I don't know what you talking about you could tell that officer was getting frustrated that's why he slapped the handcuffs on him because you already know officers don't like it when you don't want to answer their questions just to come to find out that this guy didn't have no felonies at all and this officer almost wrongfully arrested him and took him to jail because he thought he had felonies and it just goes to show that they got to start fixing them systems a little bit better in Texas because I know this happens a lot often than it should. That's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day. >> [music] [music] [music]
