[Music] [Music] what's up YouTube it's bpcast back again with another video and another reaction and in today's video is basically um a update on the da Sandra durle um the lady that had that little Outburst over that traffic stop and she was acting like a basically crybaby and if y'all don't remember um this is a little bit of the video right here what is the reason you're you're so against what I'm doing I'm doing my job you say you're a DA I am the da okay okay let me get you my excuse me the da my bad I am the da in of I just don't understand the hostility towards me I'm doing my job you're being assful how am I being an [ __ ] I am the da of Monroe County I understand that but that doesn't give you a right to go 55 and a 35 and you even admitted to me that you went 50 I understand that man I understand that so yeah that's that lady um DDA uh doesn't care to go to speed limit or stop for police officer and doesn't believe that she has to go to jail for it um this is the U extended interview basically her talking about it so I'mma watch it give my reaction let me know what y'all think about in the comment section let's get into the video I have no good answer for that I I regret what I did I am sorry for what I did if I could go back in time I certainly would handle the situation a lot differently um I I I wish I could say this is why I didn't stop but I have no good answer I made a mistake what were you hoping to achieve by calling the police chief three times during that incident so so the context is you know what I work with law enforcement every single day I have every single Chief's cell phone in my phone when I realized that the officer was attempting to pull me over I wanted to make sure by calling the chief that he knew it was me and that I wasn't a threat that first call lasted approximately 18 seconds can I tell you exactly what was said in it you know I don't remember the thing is she's saying that she called the chief to say that she wasn't a threat but I feel like the simple answer would been just stop like what the [ __ ] you talking about you need to call it she to say I'm not a threat if you know you getting pulled over cuz she tried to play it in the video like in the video like the body cam where she was like I didn't know you was trying to pull me over but she was on the phone with the police chief to say she wasn't a threat all you had to do was just pull over like just making a any excuse um was that the wrong decision obviously yes it was wrong I made the wrong decision and I regret it you were trying to get out of the ticket at that point I wanted the officer to know that that I was not a threat and I'm sorry for that why not just pull over and tell them you're not a threat I don't have a good answer for that I made a mistake I was not thinking clearly um it all happened so fast if you bro I swear this whole interview is just heard saying um I don't know I made a mistake I don't know I made a mistake I'mma end this video quick I'm not going to lie to y'all understand you know the area where you know I first saw the officer to my house it was a little over minute it the whole thing unraveled so quickly I made a lot of mistakes if I could go back in time I would certainly stop and handle it differently but I didn't and I was a jerk you told the officer to quote get out of my house when he followed you home you resisted his commands you went into your SUV you went into your house and at one point you called him an anyone else who did that likely would have been cuffed and arrested I absolutely regret everything I said I I I really I really have no words for my behavior you know what I could tell you that I had a bad day there were things on my mind but really that is no excuse I I was wrong police officers deserve to be treated with respect me of all people I've been the advocate for that in this community and I failed immensely um I owe that officer an apology I owe law enforcement an apology um I I have I have I have nothing else other than to say I am sorry and it wasn't me that's not how I act man her team they they me gave her a good script bro because I mean I don't know much of that County or you know this da officer I mean da lady or whatever but you could just see it through the lines bro like just look at her eyes like come on now you she trying to remember everything that they her told her what she got to say in this interview like I mean at least she's saying she wrong though I'll give her that but do y'all y'all think she y'all would y'all forgive her though like honestly y'all think would y'all s her apology if you saw a body warn camera video of someone in your position who ignored those commands would you push to charge them with more than just a speeding ticket what I would do if I was reviewing something like this I would look at the whole circumstances just like we do every single you know case comes in the office you've got to look at everything that was going on you know um bro she lying um and I think that's that's what should be done in my case were you under the influence of any alcohol any drugs prescription or not at the time of this incident absolutely no alcohol whatsoever I left work at you know 520 and went right home um no illegal drugs I'm always on prescription chemotherapy drugs that I take you know at least three to four times a week but not under the influence of any that nothing nothing illegal and nothing that I believe would have affected you know my ability to make a decision I I was stupid you know Jen I there's there's nothing else I could say and I regret what I did and I'm really sorry for it it looks like to the community this is a clearcut example of rules for thee and not rules for me I I I understand that you know especially with um members of the the community you know for example white people and black people we perceive I why is she bringing this up why why is she bringing this up I don't understand why she bringing this up that that that's not even what the lady was asking a question about it's really saying like you as a DA Off Da like you know you being a DA and like people being like regular people and she's talking about black and white like that that wasn't even the bro come on now submit law enforcement differently you you know that they gave her a piece of paper told her to say this [ __ ] cuz this didn't make no sense of why she brought this up the criminal justice system differently but all I can tell you is as a DA what I perceived my initial thought actually when I saw the police officer turn around I thought he was going off to another stop that he got a call for service and then when I called the chief my goal then was to say I'm not a threat because I didn't want him to think he was approaching a car and not knowing what to in in expect inside have you spoken with the police officer since this incident I have reached out twice to try to apologize to him and the messages that I left were apologetic I would like to actually sit down face to face and apologize with him basically he ain't answer the phone because you called him an [ __ ] like who the hell will answer the phone you like be for real because I think he he deserves that you know I'm waiting to hear back from him I want to move a little bit into the ethical questions now uh of of some of the things you said during the traffic stop you said go ahead write me a ticket I'm the one who's going to prosecute myself you know what I'm going to do with that ticket question mark what would you have done with that ticket you know Jen I said a lot of things that were were not pretty and that I'm ashamed of and that I'm embarrassed by and I'm sorry for but I I sent the ticket in by 1:00 the following day and pl guilty because I was speeding I think people might no she did it because it was on body cam like what the [ __ ] she she had no choice but to do that cuz she knew she got she knew she was being recorded if it wasn't being recorded and like none of this was captured and like if she would have act like that and just pulled over she would have did that like 100% you cannot have me not believe that she would not do that hear you say that and they might say gee have you ever fixed a ticket for yourself or someone else before for my absolutely absolutely not you know I've been in local courts you helping I know y'all heard that you I've been in local courts what the [ __ ] you know she got caught in a lot bro cuz that caught her off guard now she got to retract everything like damn what did my team tell me that's why she did that it's youit helping because we've had a DA shortage and when when citizens come into you know the the court that I was in I would give them parking tickets on speeding tickets if they took a defensive driving class so I technically I guess I have given offers to to people out there I wasn't even going to get a special prosecutor and ask for that courtesy for myself I was just going to you know take my lumps and and pay my ticket I had a clean license technically the situation was an arrestable offense that's what we've been told you didn't stop so it looks like you did get special treatment for being the da I you know I get back to you know I I I made a mistake I'm owning that mistake I'm being accountable for that mistake and I'm sorry I have to ask because you know we sort of got um tipped off on this early last week and we started making some calls your statement comes out and your statement says I had no intention of using my position for a benefit and no one is above the law yet it very clearly looked like in that video you thought you were above the law did you not think that the body camera video was going to come out the the first statement went out for the sake of treat transparency I wanted to make sure that I was being transparent in what I did I've always been very clear about you know what I've done in this office um at that point I wasn't even thinking about the body Waring camera I just want bro she lying that that's why she play guilty in the ticket because she knew it was about the body cam if she if she knew that she was not being recorded she would have put that under the rug and not would have worried about it she know was like come on now be for real to make sure that it was out there that I got pulled over by the Webster Police and I got a speeding ticket and I had pled guilty to it have you ever called a chief in a community before for a favor like this no have you ever asked someone I can't get over that bro like this no look like like she's looking at her team right now looking at that piece of paper what to say next have you ever asked someone to not write a ticket for you because you're the da no said no the lie detective determined that was a lie I told you I told you I told you have you gotten tickets before in Webster do you think that you can still effectively be the district attorney here in Monroe County and do you see yourself still Prosecuting cases in a courtroom I would ask the community for my forgiveness I would ask them to look at my 32 and a half year career I would ask them to look at how I handle cases and especially to look at the last year and the cases that I've you know prosecuted for this community and judge me on that not judge me on for what I did that afternoon it was terrible it was a bad bad judgment call I made some mistakes and I wish I could take them back but I can't so now I own them and I will be responsible for them and whatever happens I will take the consequences did you ever consider resigning no no I was elected to serve this community and I will continue to serve this community I'm she ain't going to give reelected bro majority of the city county and state lawmakers from our area have called for sort of these outside independent investigations into your actions both criminally and ethically do you welcome those absolutely I welcome anyone to look at what I did I welcome anyone to look at the circumstances you know surrounding that day and judge me like I do every other case that comes into this office we judge criminal matters on the individual facts what happened that day to that person um we we look at the character and nature of the defendant whether or not there was a victim and I just asked them to treat me like that again you know I I can't tell this community enough how embarrassed and and sorry I am the governor has weighed in on this uh she has directed the commission on prosecutorial conduct to investigate you will be its first investigation and it's my understanding that you who initially did not support even the existence of this commission so how do you sort of balance that in your mind about uh a Statewide investigation by an agency that's fairly novice at this you and just to be clear I served four time as the president of the district attorneys Association and that was one of the the issues that we were talking about whether or not there should be a commission on prosecutorial conduct you know there's also a grievance committee I'm agreeing to self report to the grievance committee I I welcome any investigation I will cooperate and you know handle whatever punishment is handed down to me because I am truly truly sorry how will you earn back the trust of this community I want the community to look at what we do for this community I want them to look at the good work of the members of this office they are in court every day fighting for victims and making sure that our streets are safe and I will continue to lead that I will continue to make sure that we are doing what um we need to do in order to improve the criminal justice um system in Rochester and that's that um my take on that I really don't believe her I'm going read the comments she's liar she should be fired she's such a liar we don't want someone like that and bro yeah they nobody's believing her and that's basically why I stand on that because you cannot sit here have me believe that you're sorry and all this and then you would have you would have uh play guilty to the ticket and everything if the body cam wasn't on if you didn't know about that like if there was no cameras you cannot have me believe that she would not that she would do any of that she really wouldn't and she knows that that camera was going to go out that's why she trying to switch it up and y'all could hear it in the interview bro like certain questions this lady was asking her she and then like looking like you know like catching her breath to like think of the next lie to say but that that's my take on that let me know what y'all think about it y'all do y'all think she's telling the truth do y'all accept her apology or y'all think they should just fire her and like she really should go to jail bro she's so lucky she ain't go to jail I mean if if they investigate and they do decide it but bro you cannot tell me that she did not get special treatment so I really do hope that it is some really serious consequences on that because that's just not cool but let me know what y'all think about this uh make sure like subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day
