it was like a Travis stop and he didn't want to sign the ticket and ended up getting arrested and before he end up getting arrested he actually reached for his gun as W man if a regular person did that they would have been shot but uh I'm going to watch you get my reaction let me know what y'all think about the comment section make sure and like subscribe and all that and let's get into the video County Sharon's Deputy it happened during a traff Jeremy thank you a new police report giving us a better idea of what led to the arrest of that Adam County Sharon's Deputy it happened during a traffic stop over the weekend in Effingham County a wjc on 22 News is AJ sis and joining us live now from Ranken you have been looking at this new police body camera footage yeah Greg and actually right behind me is where we saw that footage we're actually on South Columbia Avenue this is where rink and police say Sergeant Carlos pedo drove by a traffic stop in the middle of the road on Friday night he didn't move over nor slow down down for that traffic stop breaking the Georgia Move Over Law I'm tell you can cannot start us another unit get your hand off your gun oh you can get your hand off your gun put your hands on there you're going to jail what led a chadam County Deputy to doing that in this body camera footage from rink and PD you see Sergeant Carlos pedote driving a red Ram truck going right by a traffic stop without slowing down or moving over and breaking the Georgia Move Over Law according to investigators an officer pulled over pedote as a result all you going to do a sign right there that's not admitting guilt is saying you understand you're getting a citation you said you're not going to sign it if you don't we take you to jail yeah the deputy is seen on the phone throughout the interaction however pedot refused to sign the citation prompting his arrest however that's when things turn South get your hand off your gun oh oh you can't get your hand off put your hands on there you're going to jail rink police arrested him on multiple charges including obstruction of law enforcement wjcl 22 News obtained this footage of rinken police later that night booking pedo in full uniform and in handcuffs in a statement from the chadam county sheriff's office it reads in part the chadam county sheriff's office has no comment at this time Deputy Carlos pedote has been placed on administrative leave pending a professional standard investigation the rinken police department in a statement to wjcl 22 said in part the rinken city manager and police chief have reviewed the camera footage and the incident report and firmly stand behind their officers now according to rinken police throughout that entire interaction they say that Sergeant pedo was trying to intimidate them correcting Mr pedo to Sergeant pedo over and over again inferring his rank with the chadam county sheriff's office he is out on bond currently and is awaiting the results of the chadam County Sheriff's Office investigation while he is on administrative leave in very interesting about this incident um the deputy that got arrested his fiance actually recorded a little bit of what happened but the funny thing is which is I really do don't like when people do this cuz I had had people personally that send me videos and it wasn't like the full thing and she basically like started recording like basic when the incident happened not before which is like I don't know bro like know people try to push that push a different agenda what really happened but this is what she recorded off put your on there you you can't do that you can't do that do that you are going to get put your hand your hand put your hand behind your back now put your hands behind your back [Music] he said I okay I'm watching go ahead wor on you man you don't want to get really that's how yall doing it now and that's the thing bro like this is the stuff that be pissing me off with they like they don't they know damn well what he get arrested for bro don't even try I don't give Sergeant police I don't give a [ __ ] bro I don't give I don't care he clearly try to use that obviously try to think that it was going to get him away bro you when you get stopped you just like a regular [ __ ] person refuse you're F anybody else [Applause] and that's the end of that interaction you know story that basically what happened with this officer and my take on that bro you ain't been no better than anybody else once you get stop it's so it was so dumb because it was just simple I had to was signed a [ __ ] ticket and he didn't want to do that and then you got his wife that recorded that [ __ ] ass video trying to like paint agendo what what did not like basically trying to create a narrative and it didn't work because I mean body camera footage is going to be full and that's going to always bring out the truth you know regardless of who's recording and in this case like it does show like the dude all he had to do was sign a ticket and went on about his day but he want to be a difficult [ __ ] like it's it's really nothing to it at that point and he end up getting arrested and I mean they say they put him on M sh uh strer leave or M I can't say the [ __ ] I'm so sorry I'm just tired a little bit forgive me but basically they put him on leave with pay and it's not really that bad of a situation as far as like you know no one really got hurt but it's just a simple fact that he's trying to use like his authority to like go around it and everything showing the badge and and reaches for his gun like bro like when you stopped you was not a cop no more for a second but that's my take on it though let me know what y'all think about the comments section uh make sure and like subscribe and all that man and y'all have a wonderful day [Music]
