The officer pulls up, steps out of his patrol vehicle, and does the most human thing imaginable. He starts to walk away with his key still in the vehicle. Then you can literally see the brain catch up. Oh, right. I'm responding to a call about someone stealing cars. The officer takes a couple of steps towards the dealership, and right around that time the suspect comes barreling out of the dealership like he's trying to make it into the elevator doors that are closing. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> The officer kind of sees what's happening and pulls his taser. The taser hits, it makes a great connection, and this guy turns into a 2 by 4. Dude falls sideways into the open door like someone just unplugged him. Someone hit the off button. After the arrest, he was charged with a couple felonies, burglary of an occupied structure, criminal mischief, and three counts of attempted grand theft auto in a motor vehicle.
