We get cases weekly for people that go downtown and they'll go to a bar and they'll get all tanked up and they'll get engaged with the bouncer who tries to throw them out and the bouncer will say they assaulted me first and therefore I had to put my hands on them. The bouncer can show you to the door but they have to have a reason to put hands on you and escorting you out of the bar is not reasons to put hands on you. Let's just say you've done nothing wrong but you just got drunk and this bouncer wanted you out and he just grabs you and throws you on the ground and tells you to get out of the bar. He's committed an assault and he can be charged with that.
