So, I recently did a video on the open container laws in Tennessee and whether or not you're allowed to have an open container in a vehicle. And one of my followers, Orvan 7, said this. What if the front seat passenger drinks while I'm an Uber driver? You just violated Uber's policies and conditions, and you're probably going to get fired. If you're an Uber driver, you shouldn't let anybody ride in your car while they're drinking alcohol. While it's not against the law in Tennessee, it is against Uber's policy. While you can't technically be charged with a criminal offense as an Uber driver, you can be fired.
