So, the police spotted an empty beer can in your car. He's going to start asking you questions about that beer can. When did you drink it? If it's not your beer can, whose is it? How long has it been in here? When they ask you to step out of the car and take a few tests to make sure it's okay for you to drive, they're about to arrest you for DUI. And every test that you take is giving evidence against yourself. You tell the police officer very politely, "I'm sorry, officer. I'm fine to drive, but I don't take tests without a lawyer." So, I'm probably going to see a lot of haters in the comments go, "Well, they're just going to arrest you and take you to jail." Well, that might be true. They may arrest you for DUI, but guess what? You haven't given any evidence against yourself. You're not admitting to anything. You're not taking any test that will show indicators of impairment. And you're just basically remaining silent because guess what? You have the right to remain silent.
