Now, people ask me all the time, how can you represent somebody who is completely guilty of what they're charged with? Well, there are people who I know did what they were accused of and I make sure that the system is fair, that the cops acted according to the Constitution in order to prosecute them. And then we try to mitigate with negotiations by saying, "Hey, let's instead of him going to trial and facing this potential punishment, let's do X, Y, and Z." I put them in a good position to negotiate by sending them to schools. I send them to do some community service work. In certain cases of seriousness, obviously, where it doesn't I mean, community service work is not going to help. But I'm talking about misdemeanor offenses where they they really did, for example, hit their girlfriend or push their girlfriend or something. And so, we send them to a 26-week batter's intervention program sometimes to get those dismissed and get them expunged from the record.
