I'm not going to tell you again. Open the door now. >> Mom's on the way. >> I don't care. You've already talked back to me about getting your stuff out. You're going to get out of the vehicle right now or I'm going to drag you out. You decide. >> Well, let's see what he decides. If he gets out of the vehicle on his own or do they have to drag him out? What would you do if your mom wasn't there? >> You almost hit somebody in the crosswalk right here at the Oh, at the courthouse. The dude had to stop and like back up. >> Does it really happen? I don't think so. >> This is Officer Blake Stinson of the Cody Police Department. In 2023, he's watching three vehicles turn left from a roadway and there's a pedestrian that's about to cross the street in the same place. Let's see if his rendition of the facts is actually true. So, what Officer Stinson has alleged here is that before he entered the crosswalk to turn left, there was somebody entering the crosswalk to cross the street. He came so close to hitting them that the pedestrian had to stop and back up and then cross the street. What really happened was the car went through the intersection first and then the guy crosses in the crosswalk behind him. >> [music] >> It's very clear to see he was in no danger of losing his life. Nobody was harmed or killed in the making of this video. >> When someone's in the crosswalk, you're required to yield to them. I need your driver's license, registration, and insurance. >> Yes, sir. >> So, Officer Stinson starts off strong here, but if we go back and watch this video, it's clear that his rendition of you got to stop when somebody's entering the crosswalk is not true. And this cop is just a tyrant. He's doing all this because he can. And when the kid doesn't accede to his every command, he gets a little pissed off. >> Can I call my mom? This is her vehicle. >> Yeah, you can provide digital copy of the insurance, but the registration needs to be provided. There was somebody in the crosswalk and you almost hit them. >> I said it's It's Officer Stinson. He said there's >> So, this kid's on the phone with his mother kind of play-by-play walking through this. The kid doesn't know how to take up for himself cuz he's never read my book. Maybe he should run on down to Amazon and pick him up a copy. I don't answer questions. Number one seller in criminal evidence on Amazon. This kid's never read my book. He didn't know what to do. So he's on the phone with his mom hoping his mom is going to teach him all of a sudden what to do while he's in the middle of this police stop. It's a bad time to learn. You should absolutely be a follower of this channel. Go watch all of my videos. Read the book. Know how to engage with police before you engage with police. Know how to plead the fifth before you have to plead the fifth. And pick you up a t-shirt while you're at it. doctorjudgeshop.com. >> I need your driver's I don't care. I need your driver's license. >> I'm not in the mood to talk to you about a parent. I'm not 18 years old. >> You're driving a vehicle and you're required to give me your driver's license, your registration, and your insurance. Okay? Those three things are required. If you don't provide [music] those things, you'll be placed in custody. I'm not joking. >> You said if I don't provide I I don't know where >> You heard him say I don't know where anything is. Hey parents, parents, your kids need to know how to do this. They need to know how to engage with police. They need to know how to plead the fifth respectfully. I don't answer questions without a lawyer. They need to know where their registration and their insurance is. So please don't just put them in a car and think that you teaching them how to parallel park is enough. It's not enough. If you don't have time for that, make sure they all sign up on YouTube and watch my videos. It'll help them. I promise you it'll help them. And getting one of these books will help them, too. So now the cop's about to get really pissed off here because he's waiting on his mother to show up and he's not exiting the vehicle. He's not following the commands of this officer. As you might surmise, this cop is going to get pissed and he's going to eventually go hands-on. Don't let your kids get in this position. >> My mom's on the way to help me out. >> Okay, go ahead and step out of the vehicle. Step out of the vehicle. >> Sir, >> I can smell marijuana in the vehicle. Get out. >> I There's no mar- >> I'm not going to tell you again. You're going to get out of the vehicle or I'm going to drag you out. >> You already know because you're a follower here that as per Pennsylvania versus Mims, a police officer can ask you to get out of the car or ask that you stay in the car on a lawful traffic stop. One thing they need is a lawful traffic stop. Is do we have that here? He's going to lie and say he almost hit the pedestrian. If you believe the lie, then yeah, you'd have a lawful traffic stop. But if you watch the video, you're going to realize that you don't have a lawful traffic stop. So, what do you do with that? Well, you can't refuse to get out of the car not on the scene. You remember we don't fight with the cop on the scene. We fight with the cop in court, which is exactly where you should fight. This kid has no clue what to do. >> Open the door. Open the door now. >> Mom's on the way. >> I don't care. Open the door now. >> Is my mom down here? >> Nope. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> 18 years old. >> It doesn't matter. I saw a violation I stopped you for and you've already talked back to me about getting your stuff out. Get out of the vehicle. >> to figure out what's going on. >> Get out of the vehicle. That's what's going on. >> I'm I know I'm allowed to have a parent or >> No, you're not. >> I just uh weird. >> You're going to get out of the vehicle right now or I'm going to drag you out. You decide. >> Can I talk to my mom? >> Nope. Get out of the vehicle. >> dragging me out of the car. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> Mom. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> Mom. >> You don't want to go hands-on to make the person get out of the car. It's just ugly every time. This poor kid didn't know how to handle it, but what he needs to know is when an officer tells you to step out of the car, you step out of the car. But the cops could do better at using their words here. He could have used his words, open the door, motioned for the kid to get out. That's the first thing you do. Step out here. I don't want to put my hands on you if I don't have to. Will you please just step out of the car? I'm not saying the cop has to wait on mom, okay? But I am saying that the cop can do better at his communication skills. [music] That's what I think. What do you think? Comment below. >> Help me. >> You get that one. Get out of the vehicle now. >> [groaning] >> Mom. Mom, help me. >> very clearly what to do, and if you're not going to do it, we're going to have to take other avenues. >> You can clearly see here that the cops have hold of both of his hands. They're trying to pull him out of the car, basically manhandle him, and they're doing a terrible job at it, okay? I'm just saying, I get they're entitled to put hands on him and make him get out of the car. It's just ugly every time you do it. They did search the car, and they found an an illegal substance. They probably had been smoking weed in the car, and maybe the cop did smell it. He had the right to search the car if he smells marijuana, at least in Tennessee, that's still the law. I'm not saying he didn't have the right to do what he did. I'm just saying he didn't do it exactly right, in my opinion. >> He almost hit somebody in the crosswalk right here at the Oh, at the courthouse. The dude had to stop and like back up for the car for him to go through, and then he wheels in here and I stop, and he doesn't have a license, either. >> Why would he lie like that? Well, the reason he would lie like that is because he wants the other cops to think that he had reasonable suspicion for a traffic stop. He found something illegal in the search of this car. The reason he's embellishing the facts of this stop so much is he wants to justify the finding of the marijuana. He has to justify the search with a legal stop. If you don't have a legal stop, everything that flowed beyond the illegal stop is illegal, and it's what we call the fruit of the poisonous tree. It means you have a poisonous tree, and it can't grow good fruit. If you have an illegal stop, you can't have a legal search. Well, I got this video from the LackLuster Channel. They're a great organization. Go watch their videos, like, share, and subscribe on their channel, and give them the credit that they're due, because they really do some great I watch their videos all the time. >> What was your reasoning for pulling him over? >> Huh? >> What was your reasoning for pulling him over? >> Uh failure to yield to pedestrian. >> Who does Stenson? >> Yes. >> Stenson follows this kid all the time. >> Okay, that's that's perception, but that's what's going on right now. >> that have been in the car with him and Stenson followed him for miles down Big Horn Avenue for no reason whatsoever. >> I need you to step back from the car. Don't step forward towards the car, please. >> Not right now. >> So, when the mom gets on the scene, she said, "Who pulled him over? Stenson? Stenson follows this kid all of the time." He wasn't really following this kid. He did see the kid turn left. He may have identified him from seeing him cuz he might have known him. I'm just going to pull him over and say that he almost hit that pedestrian. That pedestrian was not in the crosswalk when the car entered the crosswalk. The test is where was the pedestrian? Where was the car? If the pedestrian hits the crosswalk first, he has the right of way. But, that's not what happened here. The car was all the way through the intersection before the pedestrian ran across the street behind him. You can see that. I mean, everybody can see [music] that. So, it is important to realize that exposure to videos like this are very good teaching tools for young people. The kid was eventually brought in and charged with interference with a police officer and possession of a controlled substance. Later, the state dismisses all charges. This kid probably got a good lawyer who raised the issue of if this stop was illegal, you don't have a legal arrest after an illegal stop. You can't. You can't legally arrest somebody when you've illegally stopped them, and that's the law. So, I'm looking at some of the comments of this video from the Lackluster channel, and Austin Trump number four says, "I live in Cody, Wyoming and have had personal experience with Officer Stenson, and he targeted troubled kids and was relentless like this. I believe he is truly evil." Now, I don't know if Officer Stenson's evil. I'm not saying he's evil. I do think that he needs some remedial training. Police do sometimes target troublemakers, making it more difficult for them to get gainful employment in the future. It sets up their victims for a lifetime of suffering. All for the whims of a psycho police officer who wants to throw his weight around. And so I can't argue against that statement. I mean, if this kid now has a record of being arrested, it does make it more difficult for him to get future employment. So that's all true. But I don't know if I'd [music] call this cop a psycho. He seems to have a following there locally who think he is psycho. If you like this video, be sure to save it and share it with somebody who needs this kind of information. If you guys want to see some other debatedly psycho cops, check these other videos out.
