Your friend borrows your car and gets pulled over and they find drugs in it. Can they charge you? Yes, they can charge you. Can they convict you is the question that you really need to be asking yourself. And the short answer to that is probably not. If you weren't in the vehicle and you loaned your vehicle to somebody else to drive and they found something in the vehicle while somebody else was in it, that person is more likely to be the one convicted than you would be. Cuz if you're not anywhere near the items that they claim you possessed, how are they going to prove that you possessed them? The fact that they were in your car gives them one little step towards that, but it doesn't count as beyond a reasonable doubt.
