the police are at your door. One, never open the door if the police are there unannounced and you don't know why they're there. You have called the police. That's obviously a different story. But if the police show up to your door, I don't advocate talking to the police. I wrote a whole book about it. It's on Amazon. It's called I don't answer questions. It's how and why you should never talk to the police. Number two, if you happen to open the door accidentally or you don't know it's the police and you open the door and you see a cop standing on your doorstep, politely walk out, shut the door behind you, and ask why the officer's there. Be polite, be courteous, but never consent to any search and never answer any questions without a lawyer.
