So you tell me, is there any redeeming quality left in America? Sorry, I was getting that last sip. Thanks for joining us. Welcome to Policing the Police live on Stand Against Dark Blue Facebook and YouTube. Be sure to comment on this video, like this video, share this video. Let's get into it. I'm David Ridings. Thanks for joining us. I missed a couple of shows this past week, so I thought I'd do a weekend show. And uh there's no shortage of material out there, but I'm going to take a little different spin tonight. I wanted to uh bring you a couple of I hear from actually my wife tells me you do too many uh depressing videos. So you need to show some good qualities of both policing and you know videos in general. So I'm going to do a couple of videos that will hopefully redeem uh redeem myself from showing negative videos all the time. But then I'm going to show a couple that are just I don't know. Uh can can this guy get any creepier? Um you'll know what I'm talking about here in a minute. Let's first go to uh a couple of shoplifting videos. I showed a couple of shoplifting videos last week uh of Walgreens up in the north and and in some western states where they've decided they're not going to prosecute shoplifting. The district attorney's office has decided any theft under a certain amount of money and I think it's $1,000 in some places, it's 750 in others. They're just not going to prosecute them. So you got people walking in Walgreens and Walgreens has said they're not going to stop any shoplifters uh because they don't want the hassle of of dealing with it, I guess. So they're having to close stores because people are coming in with literally suitcases and garbage bags and push buggies and just loading up everything they can and pushing it out. With the security guard standing there with a video camera just or with a cell phone just watching them leave with whatever they want. Good evening, Angel. Thanks for joining us. So this is a little different video. Uh this shoplifter got caught um pretty red-handed. I don't think they wanted to prosecute her but let's watch what happens. opportunity. If you take everything out right now, we won't press charges. We'll just give you a trespass. I think that's a fair deal. Okay, she you can tell she's pondering on it. She hasn't admitted anything yet. She's got her coat closed up there. She doesn't believe them. If you take everything out now, we won't prosecute you. And in her defense, the police are allowed to lie to you, and they do frequently lie to you in order to make a case. I'm not saying anything that the police would disagree with me about. Police are trained in in some tactics in in some tactics of interrogation to actually lie in order to get a confession. And so she's she's pondering. She's not sure. But she does comply. Otherwise, it's theft. I have a hat and gloves. All right. There we go. I don't have an ID for her. I don't have an ID. Okay. Then we just need your information so I can get that for you. Jamie. Okay, Jamie. She I skipped through here. She get She does get does give her name, her real name, I guess. Um she didn't have any ID. I don't know if it was her her real name. But she seems to comply with with all they're asking. I mean, it's just cold outside. I don't have any money. I just wanted a hat and gloves. I get it, but you can't be stealing it, okay? You're a trespasser. You can use the drive-thru, but you can't use the store. Okay? So they're kicking her out out of the store, kicking her out of the store, and they're telling her that she cannot come back to the store. She can go to the drive-thru for her uh prescriptions, but she cannot come into the store. You don't have a hat or gloves? I'll buy these for her. Wait, are you serious? Thank you. I don't That one was theft. So the police officer buys the hat and gloves for this lady. Because apparently it was really cold outside, and she came in and didn't have any money and needed a hat and gloves. Got caught. Volunteers you know, volunteers to give the stuff back and the cop in the uh interest of humanity, doing the right thing, buys the things for her, which I, you know, agree with. I think it's a great idea. I'm glad he did it. My ears are cold. I got it. I'm not sending an excuse, I got it. But, you know, call So, hat tip to this officer uh for doing the right thing here. And treating people like humans. Here's another incident, different town, different person comes in and she's clearly stealing some food. Sweater. Then she goes to the freezer with the frozen foods, little mixtures, nobody's looking. Goes to the frozen food. Stuffs a whole box of chicken nuggets. Side of his pocket. Sweater. How did that even fit? Then she's not done yet. She's not even done yet. She goes right here. Now, the thing that made me feel bad for this one was it was all food, you know? She grabs some ramen noodles from here. Puts them inside her purse. Thinking nobody could see her. But, I was watching the whole time. I just want this. You just want that? Yeah. That's going to be 50 cent. Okay. And I'm going to need every single thing you just put inside your pocket. I'm going to need you to put it over here so I can charge you for it. What are you talking about? Why are you doing that cuz I'm black or something? What? Cuz you're What the hell does black have to do with anything? take anything from you. Can I pay for my noodles and get on? Be honest with me. Just be honest with me. Okay, I did cuz I'm hungry. Can I Can I see Can I see what you put inside your pocket? See, now listen. It's food. I'm going to let you I'm going to let you take it. But next time just be honest. You hungry? Come to me. You don't You don't have to do all that. You understand me? Yes. I got you. Let me give you a bag. I have due to direct So this um I I just like those videos. I thought I'd show them. They They really don't have anything to do with um necessarily with policing except for one of them was a police officer. Um and police you know, police largely are good. The the people out there that think all cops are bad are just looking to be offended. I don't believe that. I don't believe that all cops are bad. I don't believe I I number one, I wouldn't go back to the police department. I don't care how much money they paid me. I would never go back. It's It's a thankless job. And you get you get punished for doing your job. They make you fill out here in Nashville, they make you fill out a 108F, which is a basically a use of force report every time you pull your firearm no matter whether you fire it or anything. If you even draw your firearm out of the holster, you have to fill out a form. And they're not collecting stats anymore. Back when I was a cop, they used to meet once a night and you'd give all of your mail, we called it mail, it was reports and things to the sergeant. The sergeant would take down all the stats. And then they would evaluate you once um at least once a quarter and then we'd have monthly stat reports that that would list our stats. So, they don't keep up with the stats anymore. There was a a group here that complained that the cops were stopping too many people in a low-income area or too many people of color in a low-income area. So, their um resolution to that was let's just quit keeping the stats. They didn't change anything about the behavior. It and I'm not even getting into whether or not it was a valid claim. They're they're stopping people in a low-income area where the majority of the people that live there are people of color. So, clearly when the majority of the people in the neighborhood that you're policing are people of color then you're going to stop and arrest more people of color in that area. So, in instead of acknowledging that to whoever was complaining about it they quit keeping the stats. They said, "We just won't keep up with your stats anymore." If I was a cop I wouldn't get out of my car unless I was called on a call. And I think that's what they're being told now pretty much. Be visible. Hang out at the Starbucks. Let people know that you're there if they need you. Answer your calls. Stay out of trouble and don't do any proactive enforcement. Can you blame them? I I can't blame them. This is a school board. You've seen all these videos here recently of of people getting up at school boards and and telling the school board how they feel about them teaching critical race theory and things like that. This is um another woke city that decided uh well, let me just tell let me just show you what they decided. Uh due to direct and indirect threats, inappropriate comments in and out of public meetings, and the general divisiveness this issue's creating in our community, uh we will not be doing the Pledge of Allegiance during Town of Silverton Board of Trustee meetings. Um and it's removed from agendas and/or protocols until until such time that we can discuss this at a board retreat or workshop. We already discussed this as a board. Any other unilateral decisions we need to know about? Um if you'd like to find somewhere in the code that does not permit me to do this, then I welcome that discussion at our next Okay, so she said we've already discussed this uh in the board and are are there she says are there any more unilateral decisions? In other words, he made this decision on his own. They discussed this as a board and we discussed that we were going to open every board meeting with the pledge. But you have decided unilaterally that we're not going to do that or you and she's saying are are there any more unilateral decisions that you've made you'd like to discuss with us? And he said, "Well, if you can find a code where I'm not allowed to do it, then we'll discuss that." So, watch what happens. But it's just been done for a long time. I understand. took an oath. And we as a board collectively decided it would be done. Uh this is not up for discussion at this moment, but if you'd like to add it to the next Unilateral decision. Thank you. You're welcome. I would like to make one comment. I like to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge I'm sorry, but that's out of order. the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Uh I'd note that that's out of order and uh we did have a one strike policy. I'm not going to ask everyone to leave tonight, but if something like that happens again, we will. We have a one strike policy here. You get one strike and you're out the door. And so apparently everybody in the room including everybody on the board got a strike, but he's going to let that he's going to let it slide this time. We we do have this one strike policy, but I'm going to let it slide this time. Otherwise, I'd be sitting in here by myself. What a twit. Come on. What's wrong with you? That kind of person needs to go live in Syria for a year. Move on over to Afghanistan. See how you like it. I'm going to start opening my shows with the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just do that right now? I have a nice cool little flag here that I'm going to use. I pledge allegiance to the flag to the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Amen. I just What is wrong with the pledge? What's wrong with honoring this country? What's wrong with What's What's wrong with honoring our traditions in this country and talking about history? There's nothing wrong with the history of this nation. This This nation is the least racist nation in the history of the world. If we were such a racist terrible nation. Why do we have millions and millions of people flocking to come here? Why? It's the greatest country in the world. And I'm ashamed of these people that that want to be overrun by this woke society now and the cancel culture. And the education in this country is to blame for it and it's going to get worse if we don't get a hold of it. Anyway, let's move on to some levity here. I posted um something on Facebook this week. I'll just show you what I posted. I got I I I used I tweaked it a little bit. I saw something similar to this and I thought that didn't quite explain it the way I want to explain it. So, I tweaked it a little bit. This is not an original of mine, but it is tweaked of mine. Socialism, you have two cows, you give one cow to your neighbor because he didn't have a cow. Eventually, you both die after consuming your cow. Communism, you have two cows, the government takes both and may give you just enough milk to keep you alive. Fascism, you have two cows, you sell all the milk to the government who buys it with the tax dollars and gives it to the poor. The government takes all of your proceeds for the milk as a tax on your success. Nazism, you have two cows, the government shoots you and keeps your cows. Anarchism, you have two cows, you keep both cows, you shoot any government agent that comes poking around, and you steal your neighbor's cow. And capitalism: You have two cows, you sell one cow, and you buy a bull. That sparked some debate on Facebook, and I got this as a response. It's so weird being raised by Christians and spending your entire childhood being told to care about others. Then one day, they're just like, "You're not actually supposed to care about others, you stupid socialist." I don't know if you notice here, um I don't know this person, but she's, you know, given given the double-barreled, you know, middle finger. This person didn't post on my on on didn't comment on my post. Another person took a picture of her post and posted it as their comment. Now, the other person, I'm not going to name who the other person was. I should, but I'm not going to. They probably don't watch these videos. I would doubt very seriously. Person once told me I he couldn't believe that I was um a a Christian and not a Democrat. I grew up Democrat. My family was Democrat when I was young. Democratic Party's changed. But he couldn't believe that I would that I would call myself a Christian and a conservative. I was like, "Can you be a Christian and be anything else? Have you seen the platform of your party that believes in abortion, bigger government, more taxes, social class warfare?" Your party that started slavery and worked hard not to abolish it. That's the party of the Christians? Really? So when you post this as your comment, don't think that I don't realize you're giving me the double-barrel middle finger. I do realize that. You're just couching in a in this this little girl named Riley who I don't even know. And it's so weird being raised by Christians, spending your whole life being told how to care for others and then told that you're stupid they're a stupid socialist. Number one, Jesus was not a socialist. Okay? He was a capitalist. Chris This this nation is a capitalist nation founded on on Christian principles. Anyway, I I've furthered that post and said what I should have said capitalism was is you sell one cow, you buy a bull, tithe 10% of your gain to the local church, give offerings and alms to the poor in secret and care for the elderly. That's what Christians do. Christians don't have to be told by the government to give to the poor. Socialism is the government takes everything and you have a very small class of very super elite and a huge swath of dirt poor people who have nothing. And this small elite wants to keep this large majority down. Hence, we take all of your stuff and we divide it equally. We keep the spoils up here, the super elite, and we give you guys just enough to stay alive. That's what North Korea does. If you don't believe me, there's a video out there of a girl that escaped North Korea, and she tells exactly how her life was before she escaped. And that And that's exactly what they do. They take everything. They force you to work in the fields. They give you just enough to keep you alive. And they And they take everything that you make and they sell it. And they keep the money. Christians don't have to be told by the government to give to the poor. We just do it. And we don't do it with a big sign saying, "This is what we're doing." Or at least most Christians don't. Some Christians do. They want people to see how much they're giving to the poor. And I know a lot of people who are like that. Who call themselves Christians. And I'm not I'm not a judge. I don't get to judge whether or not you're really truly a Christian. But anyway, let's move on to a another interesting video from our president. Yes. I got them. And people are waiting for relief. Yes. I got them. 1.9 trillion dollars relief so far. They're going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for child care. A lot has been happened already. Number one. Number two, I'm going to fight like heck to get them the rest of what I think has to be done. I'm going to be going around the country spending time making the case to the American people that this this isn't about the showing an identification, that this is who I am when I vote. This isn't just about whether or not, excuse me, you can provide water for someone standing in the line while they're waiting to vote. This is about who gets to judge whether your vote counted after it's been cast. Think about it. Don't dismiss it at all. So, she mined him, I wrote the bill on the environment. Why would I not be for it? Employers can't find workers. I said, "Yeah, pay them more." This isn't employees employees bargaining chip now. Oh my gracious. So, I'm breaking everything here. So, what really? What's what's the whispering about? I Is it for effect? Sorry, I'm going to get this clamped back up there. Is it I mean I don't get But I made a little montage that I thought I'm not a a DJ or anything, but I heard this and I can't find it. So, I figured I'd make my own little um my own little beatbox Biden. What do you think? Oh my gracious. Can't make this up, folks. Anyway, I hope you liked that little montage. It's my uh first attempt at some pentatonics um beatbox rapping, I guess. I'm I know I probably just made a a complete fool of myself, but it was funny. Every time I watch the news now, I just sit there and shake my head. And go, how much worse can it get? Father, in the name of Jesus, have your hand up on this country. I know you're not done yet. I know in Jesus' name you have your hand upon us and you have a covering around us and I believe that in Jesus' name. So, I just pray that you just heal this nation. Jesus' name. You ain't seen nothing yet. We're going to be back next week. I'll come up with some more fun videos and I'll try not to make them so heavy. Uh tonight was supposed to be an attempt to lighten it up as I was told that my videos were too heavy. So, um Yeah, that was a good video on the shoplifters, Angel. Thanks for watching. I appreciate you commenting. And uh be sure to like this video. Share it with somebody that might enjoy this kind of fun. And we'll see you next week. I love you guys. You ain't seen nothing yet. Oh, yeah. You ain't seen nothing yet. You ain't seen nothing yet. You ain't seen nothing yet. Nothing yet. Nothing yet. My heart, my soul, my fight, my everything. Won't stop. Won't quit. I come back every time. My heart, my soul, my fight, my everything. Won't stop. Won't quit. I come back every time. My heart, my soul, my fight, my everything. You ain't seen nothing yet.
