You tackle somebody that just broke into your car. Are you all right or are you arrested? Well, short answer is you're probably all right. If you catch somebody who has broken into your property or stole your property, might be your car or it could be your home. You come home and somebody runs out of your apartment. They got a pillowcase over their back filled with goodies, electronics. Can you chase them down and tackle them? Of course you can. You can pretty much do what a cop can do if you catch somebody breaking into your own property.
