No lights on your bike? I got lights in my truck. I'm going to give you a pair whenever he gets done with you. You're welcome. This is what they should be doing, but instead they'd rather put you in a cage and steal your money. >> This is a serious question. What kind of psycho do you have to be to interrupt somebody's day when they're just trying to mind their own business? They don't want to have a conversation with you, but if they walk away, you'll grab them and tie them up. And then you, the initiator of the interruption and interference, claim that they're the ones who are doing the interfering. Yeah, what kind of psycho do you have to be? >> If you want to give me your name, I can take you to jail for interference. >> How am I interfering? >> Cuz you're not giving me your name. >> You're interfering with us. >> These two adults are riding their bikes on the side of the street, not bothering anyone, when a Polk County deputy shows up. Because they have nothing better to do and no real crimes to solve and stop, the deputy decides to harass, detain, and question these two Americans who are enjoying the freedoms America has to offer. But all that freedom nonsense is about to come to a screaming halt. >> Thanks, Trudeau, protectors and servants of the people. >> Now, this Polk County deputy pulls over and harasses these two because one of them doesn't have a light on her bicycle. And there is a free market solution to this problem cuz it is kind of dangerous being out there on the roadway without a light in the front and a light in the back. You don't want somebody hitting these people. But in the name of public safety, these cops justify their existence by throwing people into cages. But I want you to stay with me to the very end because I want to show you a guy who's got a free market, non-law enforcement solution to this problem that doesn't require caging somebody, harassing somebody, detaining somebody, and trampling their rights. Let's go over this video and we'll make some comments along the way. >> Both of you stop. You want to come back here? >> Well, she was riding with no lights on. >> I was riding my bike. I was on that bike. >> I just watched both of you >> I know. >> over there. Neither of you had a light on. >> This bike has all these lights on it. >> Okay. Well, they were just turned on as we drove down the street. So, you're riding down that street with no lights on. >> No, we were not. >> I was on his bike. >> We just switched and >> We just switched bikes. >> All right. You want to come back down here? >> I am. >> This is harassment. You guys stopped me already for no no light a while back and you took my pocket knife and never even gave it back. >> Okay. That wasn't me. I don't know anything about that. You have an ID on you? What was that? >> What do you need my information for? >> Cuz you were riding without a light on your bike. >> I was on his bike and I had a light on his bike. >> have any of my lights on. >> So, you I saw you without lights on your bike, so I need you to give me your ID. >> You are a weak and pathetic human being if you're going to try to interfere with somebody's right to be secure in their person under the justification of you didn't have a light on your bicycle. >> Um I don't have one. >> You don't have an ID? Okay, that's fine. What's your name? >> have one. >> Uh what? >> What's your name? >> What do you need? >> Yeah, I heard you. >> No, I was just kidding. I was just wondering like what >> What's your last name? >> What crime have I committed? >> You were riding on a street without lights on your bike, which is which is illegal. >> have lights. >> I saw both of you >> I was on his bike. No, my bike >> we're not going to argue about that right now. I need your name. >> Okay, I'm sorry, but I'm not committing a crime. >> Yeah, you were committing a crime by not having a light on your bike. >> I have >> No, she is not committing a crime. >> I have a light on my bike. >> We both have lights. I turned three lights on. I can't even turn >> the light on your bike? >> I can't even turn the light on in here because there's no button. I have to turn it on like >> All right. Where's the light on your bike? >> Right here. >> Your phone is not a light on your bike. >> How is that not a light on my bike? >> There needs to be a light attached to your bike. There's a red light in the rear, which you just turned on. So, I watched you do it. And you have no white light in the front. And riding around with your phone in your hand does not count. >> But when you passed us, I was riding that bike. And we just switched at the stop sign. >> What's your last name, ma'am? >> Uh I mean, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Like I >> Okay. If you don't want to give me your name, I can take you to jail for interference. >> How am I interfering? >> Cuz you're not giving me your name. >> I mean [snorts] >> You're interfering with us. >> I don't know >> Really? Bingo. The cop is interfering with American rights. Americans aren't interfering with any semblance of justice the cop may think he's bringing to the table. >> Like >> 21, you start me in a second. >> You're both non-compliant. >> I need backup because these guys who didn't have lights won't give me their ID. Come on, I need another man with a gun on the scene to help me out. >> How am I non-compliant? >> You're not giving me your name. >> Uh What reason do you have to >> The light on your bike. I'm not going to ask again. >> A light on my bike? That's not a law. >> Who did I harm, officer? Who did I threaten to harm? What damage did I inflict on anyone's property? Did I steal any property? Where's the verified complainant? Where are they? Who's my victim? >> Or you can go in handcuffs. >> I don't understand. >> Uh non-emergency for dispatch. >> All right. >> Where do you guys live at? >> I just live right down the road. >> On Where What street do you live on? >> This street. >> What street is this? Okay. >> Stop answering questions. Just stop. >> What house number? Okay. How about you, miss? Where do you live at? >> Same place. >> Okay. Are you guys dating? Are you husband and wife or >> Dating. >> Okay. >> How does this How does this have anything to do with this stop? >> You guys been dating for? >> About a year. >> Okay. >> No, I have no light. >> I don't. >> I got this one. And then the back light, too. >> No, I have a light on the red light back here. On mine. >> Yeah, it's a white light. >> I mean, it's a >> I mean, even that flashlight that's affixed on the front of the bike is good. You have a white light in front and a red one in the back, just like you're supposed to have on that bike. >> I was riding his bike. >> Yeah, she was on this bike. >> Okay. >> And we switched off. >> Stop line. >> All right. So, did you have an idea on you or no? >> That's what I'm looking for. >> Okay. Either you guys have any weapons on you or anything like that? No, okay. >> This [clears throat] is the second time I've been stopped for not having a light and it had a light both times. >> Well, you wouldn't get stopped if you didn't have a light. >> Well, I got stopped Yeah, I got stopped right over on like right across 14th on Aurora. >> Okay. >> You wouldn't get stopped if this was truly the land of the free. You wouldn't get stopped if we were truly the protectors and servants of the people. You wouldn't get stopped if we were actually peace officers and rights protectors. That's when you wouldn't get stopped for petty crap like this. >> He said that I didn't have no light on when I had my flashlight on the front and then I had a wagon on the back that had a light that was flashing. So. >> Oh. >> And then he took my pocketknife and never even gave it back. >> Okay. I'm sorry that happened. Yeah, I don't I don't know anything about that, but >> Can't I just put his other light on mine and then put this back on my back? >> We can do that we're done here, but I need you to identify yourself to me. So, that's what we're doing now. >> Well, I just don't understand what >> So, >> what I've done wrong. Like I >> If you're riding on the roadway with a bike, >> he was riding it. >> Okay. I'm not going to argue with you about that. >> You've done nothing wrong, ma'am. The political psychopathic parasites have made a law and ordinance. You broke that law, you violated it, and now this law enforcer, this policy enforcer, is going to enforce that policy no matter what because it's legal. Tyrannical actions are legal in America. >> Okay. >> So, are you willing to identify yourself to me or not? >> Um Well, I I don't understand why I have to >> You're riding without a light. I've explained this to you multiple times now. >> I was not on this bike. He was on this bike. So, >> I drove past you while you were both at the stop sign and saw you both on these bikes. >> I was on that bike. Was I not? >> She was. >> I saw you on this bike. >> You did not see me on this bike. >> I sure did. >> Okay, that was maybe when you turned around, but when you went by the first time I was on that bike. >> So, you just decided to randomly switch like switch people on bikes. >> I was riding that bike >> [clears throat] >> because he was trying this one to make sure that the back tire wasn't like going to the bearings weren't going to come out. Or whatever. And so, he was riding it just to get a feel for it. >> What's your name? >> I don't get it. >> What's your last name? >> What? Like what if I'd done wrong? >> And if you don't want to identify yourself, you're going to go to jail. >> Why? What >> Now the other deputy has arrived on the scene, and he's not a good cop. He's not protecting her right to be secure in her person. She has every right to resist the redcoats here. >> I haven't committed any crime. >> All right, step off the bike. Step off the bike. >> Hey, why are you taking me to >> And there's hands on. A man putting his hands on a woman. In any other situation, this wouldn't be tolerated in a civilized society. >> I will. >> Step off the bike. >> I will identify myself. I will identify myself. I don't understand what I've done wrong, though. Yes. >> No. >> Uh you can take my stuff. Why? Are you guys going to You going to record this or something? >> My body cam's recording right now. >> Okay. >> Yeah, her boyfriend should be recording this right now. >> Body cam. >> Where's your phone? >> Can you get it to him? >> Nope. >> Why? >> It's going with you. >> Okay. Where am I going? >> Jail. >> Oh, okay. >> You were asked several times to identify yourself and you refused to do so, so >> him to identify himself? >> Because he had lights on his bike and you didn't. >> Stop trying to throw your boyfriend under the bus. >> And then he didn't have lights. I'm sorry, but I don't know what I've done wrong. >> You're willing to swing down here by chance for a search? >> You did not do anything wrong and you should retain all of your rights. >> All right, go ahead and step back here. >> My things are like backwards. It hurt. Ow. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Would you be willing to identify yourself to us? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's your name? What are you guys doing tonight? You just >> We were going to get a donut from the [ __ ] QuickTrip. >> Okay. >> What do you want to say to her? >> Huh? >> Again, never answer questions. Especially never answer questions when they have you separated because now you're saying, "Well, we're going to get a donut at QuickTrip. They can ask her the same question if she comes up with a different answer then they're going to assume you're both lying to them and when you lie to cops they consider that a felony but when they lie to you they consider that policy stop talking to police. >> We agreed to that. I already told him to go down the road and we can talk there. What's the story with her? She got a gun? >> I don't know. She She wasn't the one riding the bike though. I wasn't here. Yeah, she did. She She was not going to ride the bike and stop trying to switch after he already had it. >> I don't know. I wasn't here. Well, I was just trying to fight that she said the back wheel was like >> I wasn't here. >> Well, you're here now and you could ask your fellow deputy what are you arresting her for? Why do you have the torture cuffs on her? What are you doing? I got my bullet in my pocket but my Andy. I got my bullet and I ain't no crime going on. We're going to create criminals though out of nothing. What did she do wrong? Why did you get her ID? Why she sitting in the back of the cop car? What? There's no victim? There's no crime? Get her out of the back of that cop car right now and when you do take off your gun belt cuz I'm going to arrest you. That's what a good cop would say. You don't treat people like that. You hold their rights as sacred and you protect those rights no matter what the political psychopathic pathetic political thugs have to say in the legislative branch. >> She said the >> back wheel kind of fall off. >> She said it felt like it was going to fall off. When she would ride the bike she said >> Yeah, so I got on the bike. >> So she wasn't >> before before he saw us though. Huh? >> You just admitted you were riding it that's my point. >> Well, when he saw us I was on the bike. >> When you saw him when you saw him >> Okay, well, when when did you see us? >> When I drove by you on 10th stopped at the stop sign? >> Yep. >> Without the lights on and then the second you saw me turn around I see you both turn lights on and drive down this way? >> No, just like I told you. >> Right down here. Okay. Good. >> I dropped the phone cord that he had. >> Oh, that one? You want me to give that to him as well? >> Yes, that's his. >> Okay. Oops. Yep, you're free to go, man. She wanted to give you the house keys as well, so there's all that stuff. You got any questions for us before you get out of here? >> Can I take that stuff so that I can give it to her mom? >> No, it's got to go to dad. It's going with her. >> Mhm. >> Yeah, the second I whipped around on Madison to see him, they start running down here. They both flick their lights on on their bike. And then he claims that we switched bikes. Yeah. Did you look at this bag already? >> So now they further violate her rights by going through her bag. They violate her right to be secure in her person's houses, papers, and effects, and they book her on charges. >> She was then transported to the Polk County Jail, where she was booked and charged with interference with official acts and violation of probation. >> Interference with official acts and violation of probation. And they justify the stop because she didn't have a light on her bicycle. And it don't didn't have a light on a bicycle, and that justifies our stop in the minds of the deputies. And this is how a real patriot, a real protector and servant addresses the public safety issue of people riding around without bicycle lights. This is Harvey Freebird. >> This is what they do, heroes. Harassing the less fortunate. I mean, this is a shame. I don't answer questions. You said what's >> going on?" That's a question. >> It's rhetorical. >> I don't like people behind me. >> I'm fine. >> Got you another one, huh? So, all he does is harass people. See, that's what they did. This bike doesn't have any lights on it. So, these heroes immediately took action. And now look, this is what they do. They turn a day no light into dumping your purse out on the hood of the truck. I I expect this out of Hunter, but not you, Calderon. >> I didn't have a bike light, Harvey. >> No light? >> No. >> Wow. You're turning a no light into a search? >> No, an arrest. >> An arrest? >> Yeah. >> For no light? So, Harvey and his subscribers were sick of police harassing people on bicycles and arresting them and caging them because they didn't have lights. So, they all got together, they pooled their resources, and they bought a bunch of bike lights for Harvey to give out in Galveston, Texas. After recording this unconstitutional Gestapo stop, he saw another one and he provided assistance to the guy who was being harassed. Look at this. Guy on a bike. What I tell you? Now they're going to search the guy because he didn't have no lights on his bike. Unbelievable. No lights on your bike? >> Yeah, I didn't have any lights. >> I got lights in my truck. I'm going to give you a pair whenever he gets done with you. You're welcome. This is what they should be doing, but instead they'd rather put you in a cage and steal your money. It's not about public safety, it's about public control. They want to control everything and everybody at all times. If it truly was about public safety, they would be dipping into their own pockets. I mean, a lot of these people make like hundred ten, hundred twenty thousand dollars a year these law enforcement officers including deputies. They could reach into their pockets and buy 99 cent lights for these people instead of harassing them. Hey, I wanted you to be safe. I got a case of lights in the back of my trunk. Let's put them on for you. That would be true public service and that's what Harvey's doing here. Look at that. What did what did I tell you? Real heroic. He was fixing to search him until he saw me. They call this proactive policing. He'll probably have a warrant for the last time they pulled this [ __ ] on him. Hey, you asking for his name and badge number? >> No. >> Never seen him before. If you wait right here, I'll go get you some lights. >> Hey, I appreciate it, man. Thank you. >> I'll be right back. I parked over here. Or if you want to follow me over there, that'll work. Just don't Just don't >> Don't ride it. >> Yeah, don't ride it. This is what these people do, man. I've been watching them for months. They They They arrested a guy the other day for no lights. >> Wow. >> If it If it would have been Hunter White, you'd be going to jail right now. >> Man, I already figured on it. I was That's usually that's how it goes. >> That's why I got the lights tonight. >> I sure do appreciate it. >> Yeah, I'm tired of watching them harass all of y'all, man. It's ridiculous. They say they're doing it for public safety, but really if they were really concerned about safety, they would be giving y'all lights like I'm about to do. So, how am I going to do this? I got to I'm live streaming, man. This is what I do. >> You're cool, man. Like I said, if it wasn't for you pulling up, I probably wouldn't have got a ticket. >> Yeah, he was fixing to search you and I found you. >> kind of stuff. Yeah. >> So, they're going for the front? >> Yes, sir. >> And it just snaps on. >> All right. >> And that's one for the back. >> Okay. Man, that is too cool. >> Not only is Harvey giving out free lights, he's also putting them on the bicycles of the people who are getting harassed by police. That is true public service. That is community service. >> You don't have to pay. >> Putting these cops to shame. >> I'm sorry. >> 50 cents each. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah, and they'd rather put you in a cage. >> I don't know if I'll ride like that. I guess that'll be all right. >> You're good to go now, bro. >> Cool, man. Thank you. >> You're welcome. You know anybody else that has bikes? >> Yes, sir. I do. >> Do they need lights? >> Yeah. Yes, sir. >> These things are >> I just need I just need one more set. >> All right. What you got to do >> I got one of those first I'm thinking of. >> Okay, these have a lithium battery and I'm you have to take them apart. There's a piece of paper inside of them that in between the battery and the post. >> Yes, sir. >> You have to take the piece of paper out or they won't work. >> Okay. >> You see what I'm saying? >> Yes, sir. >> They won't work right now. >> Right. And so I'll pull that paper >> Pull the paper out. >> Got you, man. >> Later, man. >> All right. You have a good one, man. >> You too, bro. He's good to go. Look at that. He's all lit up like a Christmas tree, y'all. Yep. That is the way to do it. >> [laughter] >> Oh, [ __ ] He's lit up like a Christmas tree. No court costs, no torture cuffs, no caging, no booking or processing, no body cavity search when you get to the jail. 50 cents a light. And you notice what it doesn't say on the outside of Harvey's truck right here. It doesn't say to protect and serve, bravery, courage, and integrity. He just does it. He just shows bravery, courage, and integrity. He just protects fellow community members. He doesn't have to announce it. He just does it. And he uses his own resources. He doesn't have to steal money from somebody else so that he can provide for others. He takes it upon himself. It's his own initiative. It's his own audience. Pooling the resources and actually helping people instead of hurting them. The Galveston Police Department and police departments all across the nation and sheriff's departments all across the nation could learn a lot from this video.
