I don't know if you know this, but you don't have to commit a crime to be detained. You have to commit a suspicion of a crime. >> You don't have to commit a crime to be detained. You have to commit a suspicion of a crime. >> Now, ask yourself, when was the last time I committed a suspicion? And if I did commit a suspicion, what would that suspicion look like? >> I I just need your identification. Can I have your driver's license, please? >> No, ma'am. >> I'm literally just asking for your ID. You do need to identify yourself. I just need your identification. >> It almost sounds like she's making crap up so she can feed her ID addiction. You know about the prevalent law enforcement ID addiction, don't you? How bad is this addiction? It's pretty bad. >> Give me, GIVE ME, GIVE ME. I NEED A TASTE. >> I'm literally just asking for your ID. I I just need your identification. >> You don't need it, though. >> Let me finish, please. >> let's take this from the top. A guy with a camera is filming a bank from a public sidewalk. He asks a question that everybody who's been in that bank knows the answer to. Where is the vault? Everybody knows where the vault is, but the bank employees freak out and they call donut eaters with badges and guns, and another round of our clown show reality begins as real criminals roam the city violating people's rights. And while the badge criminals are violating this cameraman's rights, let's take a look at this video, we'll make some comments along the way, and I really want to hear your thoughts in the comment section. Oh, by the way, anytime a cop says, "I just I just need to see your ID. I just want to make sure you're okay." You know something is brewing. >> We just got a phone call about you out here with the camera. I just want to make sure that you're okay cuz they're saying that asking weird suspicious questions and I just want to make sure that you're okay. >> Well, can I just get your name and badge number? >> For what? >> You're a cert public servant, right? >> Okay. >> Can I get your name and badge number? Is it in your pocket? >> Frisky 149. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Can I have your driver's license, please? >> No, ma'am. >> Why? Well, you're not free to leave. >> I'm not so I'm detained. >> Correct. >> So, I commit What crime have I committed? >> You have to commit a crime to be detained. You have to commit a suspicion of a crime. >> So, what's what's the suspicion of a crime? >> We do we got a call out here. >> Okay. >> I want to I want to make sure that you're okay. I haven't made it into the bank >> Okay. >> to talk to them. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'm literally just asking for your ID. >> I I cannot provide it. >> May I ask why? >> Cuz I haven't committed a crime. >> But at this point, you're being lawfully detained. Okay, which therefore you do need to identify yourself. >> Okay, at this point >> Otherwise, that can be obstruction >> Okay. >> of a law enforcement officer, which I am, which is a crime. >> Okay, so at this point I request a sergeant to make >> driver They're watching the cameras that's why I said that. >> Okay. Thank you. >> 110, he's already requesting a supervisor. >> So, notice there were three just we just got a phone call, I just need to see your ID, and I'm just making sure you're okay. >> And what would be the crime? >> I already explained that to you, sir. >> You haven't, though. Are you aware Do you know what free press the first amendment is? >> I do, but I don't >> Am I on Am I on a public sidewalk? >> This is a bank. >> But am I on a public sidewalk? >> They're concerned. is down here talking to you, dude. >> Okay. >> You're good and they're good. You're free to leave, but right now you're not free to leave. >> Okay. >> So, we can both stand here and we can both wait. >> So, that's the fourth just. I'm just talking to you. We just got a phone call. I just need to see your ID. I just need to make sure you're okay. >> We just got a phone call. I just want to make sure that you're okay. I just want to make sure that you're okay. >> I'm literally just asking for your ID. >> I'm just down here talking to you, dude. >> Okay. So, I can't I can't walk. All right. And if I walk, you you going to arrest me? >> I'm going to detain you and handcuff you. Yes, sir. >> Okay. Up to you. Are you Are you picking up on the tyrant twitch? They do this tyrant twitch. They shake their shoulders. They shrug their shoulders a little bit to adjust their vest when they know they're wrong. They're out on a limb. There is no law that underpins what she's doing to this guy right now. Matter of fact, there's constitutional law against what she's doing right now. >> That's a That's a bad parking job. >> Is there a reason you're out here, sir? >> I'm on the sidewalk. >> I'm at the bank. Out here, I'm not talking about that. Talking about the bank. And I say that because we got a call about a male matching your description to a T asking about the vault, and that's going to raise suspicion. That's why I'm asking. Just asking. >> How long was your training? >> I'm sorry? >> How long was your training? >> How long was my training? >> Yeah. >> I've been a police officer for almost 6 years, sir. >> Really? >> Yes. >> How many rights has she violated in 6 years? Look at the tyrant twitch. >> Sir. >> Okay. >> So, would you like to answer my question? >> What's your question again? >> Again. >> I'm just conducting a constitutionally protected activity. That's all I'm doing. >> Okay. But again, they called us. We're here for a call. >> Okay. >> We got to identify. >> You don't have to identify. >> I do have to identify, sir. >> You actually don't. >> I do. >> But >> We'll wait for a supervisor. >> And if you force me to identify, that'll be something different. Like I said, I haven't committed a crime. >> Okay, sir. >> Haven't spoken to anyone unless they spoken to me. >> Did they speak to you? >> They did. >> What did they say? >> Um what am I doing? Came out here and we had a good conversation. >> Okay. Did you ask about the vault? >> I did ask what side was the vault located. I did. >> I only say that because that's going to make anybody raise suspicion, right? >> Right. But if I walk into this bank, will I be able to see what side the vault is on? >> I don't know. I don't This is not my bank. >> Most banks Most banks have have their vault outside in the lobby, though, right? >> Every bank is going to be different, sir. >> Okay. >> And I say that because I This is not my bank. >> Right. >> I don't use them for my bank. >> Mhm. >> So I'm not I can't give you an answer that I don't know, right? Cuz that wouldn't be fair to you. >> Right. Mhm. It's also not fair to me to detain me and restrict my my movement out on a public sidewalk. >> And you have someone come up behind you, just so you know. >> Okay. >> I just I just don't want you to be startled or anything like that. >> Yeah, no. So you So you under the impression that you can just detain anyone? >> I have to have a reason to detain someone right now, sir. >> So what's the reason? >> We have a phone call here. They're concerned about why you were asking about the vault, sir. >> So for any reason you can just If anybody call you If they call you for any reason >> We can wait for a supervisor, sir. >> They're pulling up. >> That's not the supervisor. That's another officer. >> Oh, okay. >> One's tied up on a call. The other one's over there a little bit further away, so it might take a little bit longer, okay? >> Okay. >> One side of the house. >> So, I'm going to be detained for the whole time? >> Unless you would like to identify yourself, and he can go in there and figure out what's going on. Because right now, you're being detained because of the >> You see it You see what's going on. >> No, I haven't gone in there, sir. I have not gone in there. >> But, you see what I'm doing, right? >> I am doing that. >> You see what I'm doing, though, right? >> Okay. >> So, is it against the law to do what I'm doing right now? That's all I need to know. I understand there might be concerned. Can I get your name and badge number, sir? >> Johnson 121. >> 121, thank you. Yeah, so >> Please be advised I didn't identify myself. I immediately requested a supervisor. Should I call them or just hang up? Wait. >> Okay. Yeah, I guess she's under the impression that I have to identify myself. >> I mean, considering there's an investigation going on, yes, sir. But >> Reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime. Of a crime. >> wait for a supervisor. So, we will wait for a supervisor. >> Okay. >> That's for your request. >> Yeah, so >> Why do we need a crime when we have perfectly good suspicion we can investigate? >> So, she uh she's under the impression that she can detain me, restrict my movement. >> They were up there dealing with >> I don't know how much longer he's going to be tied up in there. >> He's being honest. Is there anything else he can do about that? >> Do you agree with her uh restricting my movement? She's saying if I walk, she's going to arrest me. >> I did not say I was going to arrest you, sir. I said I was going to detain you via handcuffs. >> Right, that's arresting. >> No, it's not. >> It is. >> It is not. >> All right. I ain't going to have a debate with y'all. >> Where you from, man? >> Where am I from? >> Yeah. You asked us questions, why can't we ask you? So, as >> Well, you're public servant >> Huh? >> You You You guys are public servants. >> Okay. >> So, I'm asking the public >> Mhm. >> Where are you from? >> I'm not required to answer any question. >> Okay. >> I'm from Earth, though. >> Mhm? >> I'm from Earth. >> Okay. Hope so. If I wasn't, you would have said otherwise. I mean, you can't tell me. I don't really know, man. >> Say it again? >> If the rock says otherwise, I mean, I don't really know. >> It's not a rock. It's a crystal. >> Okay. >> This is from Earth, too. >> Okay. What's your business? What's What's that particular crystal do for you? >> For me? >> Yes. >> Mhm, you'll have to look it up. It's It's called a pyrite, though. Pyrite. >> It's to protect me from bad cops, and it looks like I need to take it back and get my money back because it's not working. >> Okay. I don't Everybody there's always different crystals for every little different thing that they >> I'm staying. >> does the whole you can put your water out when the full moon's there. Literally brings in that whole spirit and all that kind of deal. So, everybody has their own little thing. >> All right. Can I still not walk down the sidewalk now? >> Look at that caboose, man. It's amazing who they will slap a uniform on. >> How are you doing, sir? >> I'm good. What's up? >> Say it again? >> Good. >> Yeah, yeah, I'm good. Can I get your name and badge number? Huh? What's your name? >> 146. >> 146. Um I was verbally detained by your officer. >> Yes. >> They're They're investigating a suspicious person, and we're finding out the rest of it. And if we're good, have a good day. >> So, she can just detain me on a public sidewalk for nothing. >> No. >> She don't need >> I I just told you. We got a call for a suspicious person. >> Suspicious is a crime, though. >> We have to investigate. But that's what we're doing. >> Well, ma'am, what did this suspicious person do? >> Well, he was asking about the vault. >> It's not against the law to ask about a vault. >> Well, he's outside on the sidewalk filming me. Well, not only is it not against the law to film you from a public sidewalk, it's constitutionally protected right, ma'am. Call us back when you have a crime. >> Nothing more, nothing less. >> All right. But, you can't just detain me, man. For nothing. It's really it's nothing. Y'all see what I'm doing. I'm doing the same thing y'all doing. >> We're just waiting to find out what they got to say in the bank and then we'll be done. >> You see that? She should have did that first, man. Telling me if I if I if I if I walk down the sidewalk, she's going to arrest me. She's going to physically arrest me with a handcuffs. >> I don't know what's going on yet. We're trying to find that out. >> I've been I've been doing this the whole time, sir. >> You just tell me to pull up. I just got here. >> Okay. I mean, I'm I'm pretty sure they told y'all what I was doing. Just filming the bank from >> Well, they just what they said in the bank is all I know. >> Okay. >> I haven't spoken to you. >> So, you don't see no problem with what she told me. You don't. >> How many other officers have you talked to? >> How many officers? >> Yeah. >> Uh quite a few. Not a lot, but quite a few. >> I I figured cuz you said the word cat. >> Say it again? >> I figured cuz you said the word cat. >> Yeah. >> That's not just common knowledge. >> Yeah, it's not. >> You talked to enough of us to ask for that. >> Right. Right. >> So, that's why I'm asking cuz I haven't talked to >> Yes, sir. >> I've never met you, man, so I I don't believe he has, either. >> Me? But, yeah, that's what I do. I just I go around public areas recording. That's it. >> Do what you do, man. >> You don't care? So, how So, how how am I detained then? >> Well, I mean >> So, let me ask you >> Were you in the bank? You don't care as far as your hobby is and that's what you do as your hobby then you do you >> I play video games. He sits there and chills in the house. >> Right. >> Which can't nobody can detain you guys for doing that, right? It's not against the law is what I'm saying. You guys are law enforcement. >> In in my home, no. >> In in your home? >> Were you in the bank? >> I wasn't. That's what I'm trying to I I never stepped foot on that property. >> Except whatever they're saying, you match that description. >> Right. >> For whatever reason, so yes, we have to follow up with what happened in there and make sure it wasn't you. >> It wasn't me what? >> was and if no crime occurred and that's what she's trying to figure out. Have a good day, man. >> I got other stuff I got to do. >> All right. But I'm trying to figure out why was I detained. >> What a waste of manpower and resources and they do this all the time. These public servants are standing around getting $25, $30 an hour. They got their pensions that are just stuffed full to the brim. They're hiding behind qualified immunity wasting everyone's time. >> Before actually >> Because >> stated the crime that I've >> investigating the call of a suspect. >> But that's that's the wrong protocol though, sir. >> How do you figure? >> It's the wrong order. You have to start with a crime. If you start with a crime, now you got suspicion that somebody might have committed that crime, but you don't even have a crime yet. What are you investigating? You're investigating suspicion. >> Because you guys are law enforcement. You enforce the law. So, if I break the law, then you detain me. >> Okay. And we also have to We'll to make sure you didn't break the law. Since we've got a call regarding you or someone who fits your description. >> That means you could detain anybody anytime because you could say, "Well, we suspect you might have committed a crime or we just think you look suspicious. So, we're going to detain you and if you don't give us your ID, even though we don't even have a crime to suspect you of, then that's obstruction of justice." >> the clothing description, whatever the case is. >> Mike, can I get the sign? >> Sign in the one now. >> No. She's restricting my movement right now. >> Saying we're we're you we shouldn't be able We don't want to be afraid of a law a civil lawsuit coming out of our heads. I Do you get me? I It's either here nor there. If it was literally a crime committed, it's not a civil thing at this point. That's a criminal action. What we're doing right now is literally a separation just a paperwork. That's it. >> Can you explain it to somebody? >> Yes. >> Explain what? >> Rough. >> Like what it is. >> All right, so right at this point I do need your driver's license and I say that because I >> I don't I don't have my driver's license. I'm not I don't I'm not going to give you my name. >> Okay. So, I'm going to explain how this is going to work because I have to identify you. >> You do not. What's the crime? Can I get the sergeant back out here, please? Can you just call him back over here before you guys make a mistake? >> 33 >> This is crazy, man. This is crazy. It's insane. >> man. >> They want you to be put in handcuffs. >> That's on them. They can take a picture, put a picture of me up. I don't have >> how it's going to work for you. >> And that Hey, well, if you're going to arrest me, go ahead and do what you got to do. >> trying to arrest you. >> If that's what you want I'm not going to give you my identification, man. I haven't committed a crime. That's it. Do you the reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime? >> Sir. >> It's simple. >> Sir. >> So, >> Can I explain something to you? >> At this point I'm a I'm a I'm provoke my Fifth Amendment. And if you're going to arrest me, you can do so. I'm not going to fight back. You can do so. But I I do want your sergeant to come aid you guys before you make a mistake. But that's all that's all I'm going to say. >> She is completely verbally disarmed because she doesn't encounter people like this as a practice. Typically, when she asks people for ID at least in her 6 years, you can tell she's used to them just coughing up that ID. Oh, sure. Yeah, let me help you out. Here's my ID right here. And when you get a little bit of pushback, they get a little frustrated. They start doing the tyrant twitch. They get a little exasperated because they really really want that ID because they're used to getting it with zero pushback. >> Huh? >> Who do you want me to call to either LT or >> It's literally just a piece of paper. >> Give me your >> That's all it is. Then then you do get to walk away from me. >> That's all it is. All you have to do is let us violate your rights, make you insecure in your person, give us your ID, give away your anonymous status. That's all it is. See, it's no big deal to these cops that they're trampling your rights. And they want you to view it as no big deal. >> Say it again. >> I I just need your identification. >> You don't need it, though. >> Let me finish, please. >> Go ahead. >> I'll let you I'll let you speak. >> Go ahead. Keep talking. >> I'm asking for the same as that. Okay? >> You're not giving me my respect. >> It's literally just a piece of paper. >> All right. >> That's it. So, I just need to identify you so I can put your name on this piece of paper saying you can't come back here for 1 year, and then you get to go on your merry way. And then you do get to walk down >> I don't have to surrender my Fourth Amendment right. Identification. >> In other words, if you don't obey me, if you don't give me your ID, you don't get to walk down that path right there. >> Without I hadn't committed a crime. That's how you guys are law enforcement. I haven't What What law have I broke? >> They want you to be comfortable. I understand. >> Law have mercy. I'm going to be quiet. And yeah, I still I hadn't stepped on that property. So, they want me to trespass from the sidewalk? I'm trying to understand. I hadn't stepped on their property. >> You don't have to. >> I don't have to? >> No, and I say this cuz like any business, if you went to whatever that is >> Right, if I went there. >> If you went there >> Right. >> I can just based on how you look Simple as that. >> Right, but I didn't I didn't go there. Here we go. Here we go. >> Your badge number. >> Thank you, sir. >> Have a good day. >> No, wait. Wait, hold on. I need you here, sir. >> You're You're free to >> She's telling me I'm free to go. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Hey. >> Look at her face. What? I I've been spending the last 15-20 minutes trying to explain to this guy he's got to show me his ID. If he doesn't get it give me his ID, he can't walk free, Sarge. >> It doesn't matter. >> Look. >> Thank you. Thank you, sir. >> Look at the look on her face. That's the look of I don't know what just happened. Usually people just obey me as I trampled their rights, and now you're telling me I don't need to get his ID. How can this be happening to me? And she just starts glitching out. Leave your thoughts about this in the comments section below.
