so the police at a DUI checkpoint want you to step out of the vehicle what do you do that's a good question because a DUI checkpoint is different than a traffic stop if you're pulled over on a traffic stop the police are allowed to demand you get out of the car or demand that you stay in the car it's different at a DUI checkpoint because they need probable cause to get you out of the car I don't Advocate engaging in conversation with these police officers but you're going to have to ask him what is your Reasonable Suspicion to ask me out of the car and get your video camera going so it's important to video this interaction give them only what they ask for and don't get out of the car unless they have probable cause for an arrest
