How do you avoid looking guilty by not answering questions? There's not a really good answer for that, but what I tell people is I don't really care what it looks like. What I care about is what kind of evidence you're giving of yourself when you talk to the police. So, we don't care what the officer thinks. You have the fifth amendment right to remain silent.
