photography is not a crime and can't be turned into a crime just because it hurts people's feelings or they don't want to be recorded in public i'm brian welcome to the here's the deal channel and let's go ahead and roll the intro music [Music] [Applause] okay i think we can all pretty much see that we live in a culture that cancels or curtails freedoms for the sake of feelings and even though this should be considered by everybody in the world as a universally destructive principle because it's common sense that there should be no expectation of privacy in a public place we here in america happen to live in a land that recognizes freedom of the press as not only a right to be exercised but a freedom to be protected defended and even encouraged and promoted and who better to defend the freedom of the press than the public servants whose job it is to do just that protect freedoms filming in public places has the powerful potential to expose the darkness and evil of people and one can rightly surmise that public servants who don't want to be recorded operating in their official capacity must have something they want to hide from their masters remember if an individual calls themselves a public servant well the implication is that the ones they're there to serve are their masters surely they want to please their masters don't they and if their goal is to please protect and defend their masters that is their master's god-given freedoms and rights to operate as free people then a logical person would ask why wouldn't they want their every move viewed and recorded by their masters they want to show they're doing a good job right so now we have denver metro audits walking as a free man in a public place and that public place is the beautiful denver union station even though denver union station does have tenants who conduct private business within the building the main train station part of this place is public now on the union station website there are rules for photography governing the grounds but even these rules cannot trump constitutionally protected freedom on public property here's what their website actually says photography and videography for personal use are allowed which is a word we should all despise because it implies that another adult is granting you permission as though you were a child to do something you have the right as a free moral agent to do in the first place allowed inside the great hall and do not require permission from denver union station in order to capture photography inside the station without a permit photographers and subjects interesting word must abide by the following rules photography and videography are only allowed in the great hall of union station and that is the public place they say no shoots are allowed on upper or lower levels including the crawford hotel the cooper lounge and all tenants within denver union station photo shoots must be limited to 45 minutes or less no additional equipment of any kind is to be used including tripods lighting and reflectors no flash photography is permitted photographers or subjects being photographed cannot ask denver union station guests to relocate or move and cannot reserve any areas within the great hall and photographers or subjects being photographed must follow denver union station codes of conduct probably don't engage in criminal activity which is what every moral decent person would do anyway that's it but for some reason denver metro audits ran into some rent-a-cops including bad attitude site supervisor vicki arnold chris here initially said that you can film in here but you just have to take the camera off the tripod which is consistent with the rules of denver union station denver metro audits complied and in walks mean spirited vicky who then reiterated that you can't have cameras on a tripod and you gotta wear a mask later vicky comes back and tells denver metro audits that he's being trespassed from the property because they failed to identify which is not a reason to kick somebody out of a public place then all the rent-a-cops become aggressive even to the point of going hands-on conduct he's on the clock and putting us off on the clock and flipping us off let's go come on dude thank you hold on hold on this guy's bumping into me look at this i'm walking oh he's pushing me okay this is going to be our property this is going to be a lawsuit we're leaving we told you we're leaving but you're saying around i don't need you bumping in you're screwing around because you're not leaving i'm leaving i'm walking back but i'm not going to let you intimidate look he's bumping into me stay a distance from me and we will peacefully leave stop bumping into us stop bumping into us sleep and that's what you're doing flipping off the camera look at this guy close the door we're done you guys have a nice day who's the one pointing at the finger i'm not doing nothing your employees are still flipping us off don't touch me don't touch me man but what i wanted to hone in on in this video is the interaction denver metro audits had with the public servants who arrived later on the scene officer lynn badge 16058 officer spencer 16059 and sergeant rick beal badge number zero four zero six four let's watch these three officers champion the rights of free americans to exercise their freedom of the press in a public space just kidding there that's exactly what we're not gonna see we have can't we have a camera saying we're allowed to be in here too yeah they just want you guys to stay like just past this spot but that's not their property this is public property are you an officer yeah yeah can you identify yourself please yeah officer lynn this is their property line right here man our property ends right there in the middle oh that's our dividing line hey they just want you to step past this man give me your bach number please it's right here buddy right here buddy yeah let's go back here can you can you identify yourself identification one six zero five thank you can you step back uh this gentleman right here won't identify we were like can i get your name bachelor police sir sir jim rickville 4064 it's not my best thank you sir can we get this guy to identify himself with his batch number i just gave it to you right here man you want to zoom it's not right here you know you need to identify you need to verbally identify i just did man it's your policy sir these two did a great job they gave me their name i just told you that man i need you to physically i need you to verbally i just told you i was dealing with denver police man one six zero five eight it's my best number that's all i'm asking are you gonna start you're the sergeant i am a sergeant okay cool um any other questions would you like my card yes please there you go yeah i'll give you mine too okay just so you know that you guys could have stayed in there peacefully if you didn't have the tripod up no it was up i retracted it they told me they were attracted i'm just telling you what they told me as you're escorted out so sergeant beal says the tripod was retracted as they're escorting you out it's obvious from the footage that they weren't escorted out because of an unretracted tripod but because according to vicky they didn't identify themselves to the rent-a-cops so like we've seen all too often rather than err on the side of freedom these cops chose to do the bidding of those who want to suppress freedoms what these cops should be doing if they were sensitized to individual liberties is holding the security guards to the standard of the constitutional oath they took and not giving an inch on it here i am so it'll say district 3 we work out of district 3. we have so many problems down here though they've uh we work down here on mondays so if you have any questions you could refer to my lieutenant carlos aragon we don't work in downtown but we work in district three gotcha can i get your carts email absolutely thank you they don't want you guys back on the property so how do we get across the other side then because there's a perfectly open space that way they just don't want you ever back they don't want you on the property they don't want you ever back let's translate that we are here to do their bidding by trampling all over the rights we're supposed to be protecting that's what i mean and you know here's the thing guys is it is that uh we were actually in here being totally peaceful and respectful they came up to us and i know it's not illegal what they did what you're saying but um they asked us to put the tripod up and so i did that they told us to put the mask on we did that and they said we were good to go and so we started walking around and then all of a sudden they changed their mind and came up to us so i'm not saying you talk about their bosses i'm just saying they don't work for us this isn't our building so that's something you have to take up with somebody else we have nothing to do with that while it may be true that the rent-a-cops don't work for the police department the actions of these officers have made it crystal clear that they are working for the rent-a-cops by carrying out their tyrannical will on americans this is nothing different than we've seen from the ss in germany in the 1930s if somebody says you're on private property and they're escorting you out that's just how it works okay so there's no reason we were under the impression that this was public property but privately ran so this is actually this used to be public property right now it's not i don't know the history of it by compensation alliance which is probably they decide who comes onto property yes i don't know [Music] if these cops knew their own laws which is what they're supposed to know because that's their profession they would know that the main union station is public property which means it is open to the public and therefore is subject to the first amendment freedom of the press freedoms there are private aspects to this public property including the crawford hotel and the cooper lounge but the main station is open to the public these cops know that but they refuse to abide by their own laws and they refuse to honor their own oath but this is nothing new look it up online it says literally i know the hotel the hotel but and that's website call management work it out they may let you back on property at this point they're saying you can't come back oh it's okay we don't we don't need to to come back on this property guys at this point i would respectfully disagree with denver metro audits this is not okay and it's not a matter of not needing to come onto the property the whole issue here is that freedoms are being infringed upon and summarily trampled and free people are free to do whatever they want and go wherever they want whenever you see that freedom interrupted like these cops are currently interrupting it that's when society starts taking the slippery slope to totalitarianism this lady needs to uh learn how to de-escalate things come up and escalating stuff ma'am putting your hands on us we're peaceful people we weren't causing a scene you caused the scene disgrace no they're just they're on video they're trespass if they come back and you understand if you come back on property you'll be cited and arrested right okay cool no way this is not okay and it's not cool what this cop just said is that while you are in america which is supposed to be the land of the free home of the brave if we catch you on this public property again acting like free people in a free land we'll treat you like the criminals we think you are these cops right now are acting in a criminal capacity and just threaten to commit a very real crime against peaceful people this is not okay any questions nope okay hey we appreciate your professionalism and yours too um you did pretty good but you need to identify okay yeah i did identify you but you but i had to ask you like five times okay guys i just want to ask you one time okay now you guys can correct me if i'm wrong here but i gotta once again respectfully disagree with denver metro audits well agree and disagree while i agree that these cops specifically sergeant beal who should know better may have acted professionally they acted like armed professional thugs and gangsters threatening peaceful men with cameras and treating them as though the cameramen were the criminals so i cannot in good conscience appreciate professional criminal activity being perpetrated under the color of law or policy this is not respectable and is downright evil and i'm not calling denver metro audits out on this because i understand that being there talking to armed tyrannical bandits is totally different than sitting behind a computer doing armchair quarterbacking but we gotta call a spade a spade these cops are being evil but wait there's more evil coming out of these cops as the cops go on about their business denver metro audits proceeds to follow them which results in this later interaction guys no problem recording just make sure for safety reasons you stay up that way okay you tell me i can't come up here oh that's an unlawful one oh that's an offloader i'll come up there thank you i'll come up there if i want you're doing good man now you're starting to go backwards i can come up here that's fine i'm not i'm not impeding you at all now at this point sergeant beale got his ego bruised so as we've seen so many times before he's sitting there thinking about more ways he can abridge the freedoms of these pesky cameramen and evade personal accountability and transparency and that's coming up right now sergeant beale gets another opportunity to exert his authority just that quick heads up they're not going to let you important here either okay where i can't go in there the union station they don't let you record okay guys so this is a real interesting dynamic right here sergeant rick beale is about to instruct the rtd security guard that we are not allowed to record in union station and we just were down here we did a whole tour of this area and we saw plenty of security guards nobody said a word to us it's not their policy for us not to record in there the sergeant is just trying to keep us out of there and you can tell by his body language that he's trying to signal to the security guard that we shouldn't be in there check it out guys security will let you know but if this isn't private property right this isn't private property though right is this public property does he ignore us this is uh public property right it's public property in here not the huh you can't record down here unless unless you apply permission from rtd you don't need a permission to report on public property guys have a good day that's that's not true anything you can't you can't report in here just cooperating yeah but that's not a loss or your job is to uphold the law not to enforce the policy this is not public property where you could just record this public property there's no such thing as no public property required maybe a courtroom they said you can't report in a courtroom but this is in a courtroom this is public property i'm allowed to record in here not inside union states yes i am no you're not they're what you say the law say the uh property is this private property in here yes who was the owner uh rtd the rcd board let's step out here out of the way so people can move can you scoot over here please see i'm just asking you stand right here okay you stand right there does that make you feel better you're not going to bully me out of i'm going to stand where i want to stand well you should i'm a free american okay but you can't record in here so if i went in there and recorded what's going to happen they would just trespass you like the other places but what crime would i be committing to you they would trespass me from public property he just told you security just told you what's the crime they don't allow recording in here without prior it's not a crime that's not a crime it's a policy okay policies are for the employees we don't work here okay so we're allowed to record the property told you you can't remember they could say no red shirts in here no blue shirts it doesn't matter i know but they can't just wake up if you come in recording they're going to trespass you won't be on public property we have to commit a crime private property this is private property here sit tight who's the owner you said rcd rtd is the owner yeah but our security is funded by tax our tax dollars pay for all this right yeah well and bus fares pay for this stuff too the bus fares pay for an extreme small amount of it most of it's from tax dollars policy is not law right but private property trumps that they can do you know what i mean private property just like across the street they can say hey we don't want you doing this and if you do it then they kick you out that's their right to do that i understand that i just i don't think this is private property i think this is publicly it is private property it's owned by rtd about you 100 bucks well i don't have 100 bucks man sorry i got a big fan who owns okay security is going to advise you of the rules and that where you can record okay those are the laws okay so the rules are here are going to be is you you guys can record here freely however you cannot get involved in any calls that are going on right now at union station okay so you're free to record however you like i just just checked from rtd you guys already do that does not get informed or any involvement any calls going on right now within union station okay that's what that's from rtd okay can i get your uh your name please push cat mr dingle matheson okay thank you sir all right let's go there you go jesus man thanks guys thank you thank you [Music] yeah stand up for a ride so all of a sudden it changed now we're allowed to come in here so in my opinion this is a 100 fail on the part of these three badged tyrants and i really appreciate denver metro audits putting out this vital information we all need to sensitize ourselves daily to the power of our rights and freedoms and we need to exercise them or we're going to lose them without freedom we have nothing visit denver metro audits give them some love and leave your thoughts on this in the comments section below i'll see you guys in the next video
