probably going to get bit by the dog if
you try to run. So, you might as well

You might as well come to the house now
and turn yourself in. Or what? Or we're

going to go west. So, go up to like
either 16th

going west from like

I'm sober right now. Yeah, right now.
You think so? You can smell the alcohol
coming from the car.
What's your name? Elissa. Huh? Elissa.
Spell it. E L I S SA. E L I S SA. Last
name as in day. Yeah. No, she was west
on 17 from probably 52. I can't see.
It's like a T
[Applause]
intersection. All right, let me try to
hold it south.
[Applause]
All right. So, she's west of York Street
and 18th Avenue South.
[Applause]
Yeah, 52 would have been the next one.
She broke west, but she made
it. So, we can hold 15 at the
north. Keep somebody on uh let's do
51. Be mindful of sirens, please.
Yeah, if possible.
All right, I got her. She's running
running south. South south from 18, west

I doing? Put it down.
What am I doing? Put it down. Get on the
goddamn ground right now. Put your hands
on the ground. Get down. I'm not doing
Get down. I'm not doing anything. Sounds
good. Continue to not do anything. I'm
not doing anything. I'm not resisting or
anything. I haven't did anything. Tell
them we're 15. I haven't did anything.
I'm not resisting. Okay, good.
I'm not resisting. I haven't did
anything. Resisting. Sounds good. Now
you're in handcuffs. We can slow down.
Okay. Right here, Susan. I'm not
resisting. Okay, sweetie. We're good.
We're good. But listen, when you go
running, that is resisting because I
speak. Let's go. I got no empathy for
her. No, not at all. No empathy. Nope.
Told you he said do our job. Come
on. Keep get your knees in your chest.
That's Can I be taking my phone, please?
What do you mean no? That's my property,
too.
Please for a search charge. Yeah. You
told me to do my job. I did it. You
happy?
You want to call and threaten your mom
over the phone?
Pasadena starting out. I'm like, well,
I'm four blocks away.
So, as soon as we were about to leave,
Yeah. that white car passed us. She was
crouching down the passenger seat.
That's why I took off after that car.
Okay. They tried to lose me back here.
She went into a She didn't lose me. She
just wanted to Stop talking. I'm not
talking to you. She went to a uh dead
end
intersection. It's always a good find.
Can I have numbers out of my phone? No,
you'll do that at county if they let
you. All right, girl. You got anything
on you? Guns, signs, weapons, drugs,
anything called poke me, stick me, stab
me. You take anything up to the county,
you know it's extra charges, right?
My purse. Like your
purse? All right, step out this way. All
[Music]
right.
Come. Where's my phone and stuff? I got
your car. That'll be in your property.
No, I need my phone to get numbers. I
have my stuff. That'll be up to them
when you get up there. Nobody said they
have my stuff, though. I have your
stuff. I've said it three times now.
Nobody told me what I'm being charged
with. Oh, I'll tell you just in a
second. All
right, let me read you this real quick.
You have the right to remain silent if
you say you can will be used against
you. All right, having those rights of
mind speak.
Having those rights in mind, you wish to
speak?
Okay. Do you know why you're in
handcuffs?
I ran. Huh? I ran. You ran? Oh, you you
mean you ran from us over here? I mean
Okay. Yeah, that's part of the reason
why you're handcuffed. You know why you
were while we were looking for you? Why
took my mom's phone? Took your mom's
phone. What about the window and all
that stuff at the house? I did. I mean,
the window I understand, but they said
something about battery. I didn't put my
hands on any. Yeah, she said you shoved
her down inside the house. I didn't
shove my mom down. As for her window,
okay, I understand. I didn't touch my
mom, though. Okay. Was she on the phone
with 911 when you when you took the
phone out of her hand? I don't. Cuz you
had her phone. I had her phone, but I
also had my own. Why would Okay, great.
So, why would you take her phone? I
ended up going out last Yesterday was my
birthday, so I ended up going out. I got
dropped off home and didn't have my
phone. So when I woke up, I'm like,
"Okay,
part of one, who like who the dropped me
off?" One, and then two, like where's
all my belongings? And she's like,
"Well, I don't know who dropped you off.
I don't know." So I'm just like, "Bro."
Okay. Well, I'm going to use your phone
to figure out where all my stuff is at.
Like I got dropped off after my birthday
last night. And from there it was
blamed. How old are you? 23. 23 years
old. Do you know what that makes you? An
adult. A grown adult. Why do you think
that that's your 69year-old mother's
problem? It's not even that. I'm I'm
asking you as an adult. I'm asking you,
why is that your 69-year-old mother's
problem? Who's taking care of your child
at her house while you're out doing
whatever? It's your birthday. Sure, you
have a chance to go out. You're going to
come home and act like that.
There's food thrown everywhere, stuff
knocked over, windows broken into on on
the side of the house, and then I I have
on the side of the house. I have zero
sympathy without sympathy. I was there
on the I'm the one on the phone that you
were running your mouth to. Do you
understand
that? All that's recorded. All of it.
So, you're getting charged with domestic
battery. Okay. It's a felony cuz you
have a prior conviction and she's over
65. So either way, it's a felony. Okay.
You're getting charged with tampering
with a witness cuz she was trying to
call 911 when you took her phone and
you're charged with TDM, which throwing
a deadly missile for the the rocks into
the window. Okay. And you're going to
get the obstruction charge for running
from us.
All right. Do you have any questions
about any of that?
I didn't touch my mom, though. Okay. She
She said you shoved her down. Stuff's
knocked over. Touched my mom. So, all
right. Well, like I said, that's that'll
be something for you to to to figure out
in court.
So, I have your wallet. I have your
phone. I turned the phone off so we can
save some battery. It was only at like
8%. So, when you get up there, you can
let them know you got to get some
numbers out and you can power it back
on. But, I don't want it to die. Um, so
you have your phone there. I took the
phone back to mom that you took from
her. Um, that phone that phone that was
with Melissa in that car. That's your
mother's phone. That just adds to the
case that you took her phone. The phone
the phone that had my case on it with my
purse. That's my phone. Okay,
congratulations. I have that phone. I'm
talking about your mother's phone. Your
69year-old mother who you were cussing
out on the phone and threatening and
saying all this stuff and come find me.
Do your job. You ain't get Hi, we found
you. Her phone was my mom's phone was in
the car that I got. Correct. Because you
took it from her while you were she was
trying to call 911 earlier. You took it
from her and you left. Remember, we
called you on her phone. Does that sound
familiar? We called her on the phone and
you were like, "Come find me." That's my
mom's phone. That correct. It went back
to your mom. We took it back. We took it
back and we let her know she feels very
safe now knowing that you're in custody.
So, all right. So, we're going to go up
to Charles County Jail. Do you have any
questions for me? As long as my I have
You have your phone? Yep. Your phone is
here and that's
it. All right.
Everything back here is recorded, by the
way.
In the end, Angelique was charged with
throwing a deadly missile into a
building, tampering with a witness,
felony battery, and resisting arrest
without violence. Her case remains
ongoing. During the interaction, one
officer's handling of her firearm caught
our attention. I recognize tensions are
high, but this officer appears to be
tracking the other officer with her
firearm. Get on the goddamn ground right
now. Put your hands on the ground. Get
down. I'm not doing Get down. I'm not
doing anything. Sounds good. Continue to
not do anything. If you like this video
