his rights violated when the police give you instructions to demand your identification you must present it in accordance with state law you must present it do what the police say on scene and if you show up and the judge and you respect the judge and you throw yourself in the mercy of the court maybe the judge will toss it you must obey law enforcement because we're a nation of laws you must obey were driving back home when they decided to stop by a public park located at 1065 Old Town Morrow Road in Georgia the park is called the District and it has a 4.4 star rating on Google Maps others who've enjoyed the park in the past left reviews like great place to hang out eat and enjoy company I love it there wish I could buy it it's pretty much abandoned and they spent a whole bunch of taxpayer dollars for nothing great place to run or just meet up so Jesse and his girl wanted to experience this for themselves so they parked right about here when at around 12 p.m they were rudely interrupted by Michael Crumpler and an unknown passenger in a dark gray Interceptor by the way Michael is the chief of police you can't pull somebody over time I gotta pull could you the police I didn't do anything wrong to see your driver's license I don't got to give you nothing huh okay all right have a good day I will okay I ain't doing anything wrong you can't sit here and threaten people you said what you said leave watch what's gonna happen yeah I haven't done nothing okay I need a unit out here see what I mean you got to get a unit out here Crumpler calls for backup because an American was brave enough to stand for his rights as he challenged this cop's Authority and in the process he hurt his fragile ego for what because you almost hit me coming around this no I didn't I didn't hit you I didn't hit you I need to see your drivers I don't need to give you anything okay I don't need to give you anything I had a crime let me see driver's license go [ __ ] off or call call because these cops smelled an ID like shark smell blood in the water now enter Mr pretend good cop hey bro hey what's happening hey not much man hey look they're just trying to ID you man you got your license on it yeah and I asked him why yeah I mean because this city property over here and it's not that you don't necessarily doing anything wrong by driving by but and there's our on-camera admission that this is public property and Jesse has done nothing wrong but that doesn't stop them from still wanting to violate his Fourth Amendment right the the city management over here they're just real particular about people being in here when there's an event going on okay so any any because there's cameras all over this property I get it yeah so anytime there's just like a random car coming through here we always respond over here just to ID whoever I do want to ask so is he the chief is this okay he just kind of got all kind of aggressive you know what I mean all right well I mean I say that and and me I want to you know I don't want to provide anything unless I did something wrong if I didn't do anything wrong I would like to be on my way well I mean like I said you are in a closed city property right okay so so you guys can ask me to leave and I can leave well it's not like I said not that you necessarily did anything wrong then I would like to be on my way well and and the thing is is we saw that it's uh for lease we came here to inquire about it being for eign anybody that's over here when there's not an event going on we ID who's ever over here we mean it's not a law so okay so why do I have to I do that's my question for you I mean you had no legal reason to be here I mean this isn't this isn't locked or closed or anything correct so the cop says this area is posted no trespassing so if that's the case why did he already say twice that Jesse did nothing wrong and why when you drop this little yellow guy in Google Maps does a blue line appear the Blue Line indicates a road that the public has access to further if you drive around from the little Google Yellowman perspective you see no trespassing signs now they could have put them up since then but I still haven't seen any evidence for that yeah but so how does somebody come and see if it looks and this is my question for you because I'm more than welcome but I want to do it that I'm doing it under threat of arrest that's he threatened me okay well I'm not George is not a stop in ID state is it yes if the police get out with you you have to provide your ID so what do we do here so harassing an innocent man and his woman because they're too feeble-minded and controlling to walk away from a guy who's planted firmly on his rights and they just can't have that in the land of the identifies himself as a police officer in the state of Georgia they don't have to work oath breaker Mark Woodall that's with two D's just lied Georgia is not a stop and identify State unless there's probable cause that a crime has been committed parking in a public area by the way is not a crime further Jesse was informed by the good cop that he had not broken a law or committed a crime I'm an easy dude about a hundred years of policing experience I need to understand we understand our limitations of the Fourth Amendment and all in all nationalities involved in police if you are in violation of state law and Senior workers okay that's fine with me I'm going to decide whether to book you into the Clayton County Jail at this moment okay or let you go on or let you go on a verbal don't think I've ever seen before and when the police give you instructions to demand your identification you must present it in accordance with state law especially when there's articulate a probable cause but as little as as little as Reasonable articulable Suspicion so Georgia is a must present ID State okay arguing with the police doesn't get you anywhere the judge is who you argue with just do what the police say on scene I'm not taking you to jail and I'm not impounding your car we're way way able to do that I'm not doing that I'm giving you the disorderly conduct City citation with a very low fine and if you show up and the judge and you respect the judge and you throw yourself in the mercy of the court maybe the judge will toss it I wouldn't have any problem with that I wouldn't have now it should be noted that police Commander J.W Gest said an internal review of the traffic stop found none of the officers acted in the wrong or violated any constitutional rights Ray Charles could see that they violated rights he said because of the ongoing construction the Public Works folks in and out of there operating heavy machinery it's not safe for Joe and Jane's citizen to go in and out of there if he just would have given the chief his ID I guarantee the chief would have told the subject hey you can't be back here it would have been over in other words just stop standing for your rights and submit to the cops Jesse told 11 live that he was considering filing a civil lawsuit against the morrow police department but he hasn't been able to find an attorney willing to take up the case he said I've talked to two attorneys and they told me it's not worth it but to me it's more of a prince possible situation the police did it to me so how many other people do they do it to and that's a good question he said I speak to friends and they tell me at least you didn't get beat up I don't know who else to go to I just felt robbed and cheated and no American should feel like this
