Evergreen. On April 22nd, 2025, officers
with the Ocala Police Department
responded to a call in reference to a
disturbance at a Family Dollar. Upon
arrival, officers made contact with the
suspect, later identified as a
23-year-old female named Katie. We were
here earlier. Yeah. Yeah. We bought fly
stuff. So, this uh customer came in.
She's young chick. She's sitting over
there. Mhm. Apparently, this guy that we
have the license plate and stuff of him,
he is an older gentleman, looks like 70,
early 70s, maybe found her. They came in
here and she was acting a little weird.
So, I'm like, "Can I help you with
something?" And she starts balling her
eyes out that he wanted to give her he
followed her in here cuz he wanted to
give her a ride, but he would only give
her a ride if he had she had sex with
him.
So, I asked her if she wanted if she
wanted me to call anything, anybody.
She's like to call the cops to see maybe
if she can walk out of here without him
following her. But he went and
confronted her in the aisle and my
assistant got in between. Confronted her
over what? Not getting any sex. Yeah, I
I wasn't even there. So, you can speak
to my assistant on that one cuz I I was
calling you guys.

And then I bought her a water and she
pulled out a water cap. Like she she was
she go she's getting trespassed. She's
being mean to my friend and I don't like
it. She goes, "My friend's never mad
when she's

receipt out while I was crying. He
picked me up while I was crying on the
side of the road because it's just been
a long life. In the end, Katie was
charged with trespass after warning and
resisting an officer without violence.
