Yo, keep keep doing that. Look what the you're doing. >> I literally didn't. >> Look what you're doing. You're doing that on purpose. Now, if I punch you in the face, you're gonna have a problem. >> Okay. Well, that would be a problem cuz you're in handcuffs. And if you punch me in the face, you >> Oh, I have legs. Miraculous. >> What you going to do? Shack on my legs, too? >> Hey, did you know right here in America, the land of the free, home of the brave, that by displaying a certain attitude, you can provoke a cop to place you in handcuffs? under arrest. Stand your back. >> That attitude is what got you a handcuffs in the first place. >> Hey, Ara. >> Yeah, I'm right here. What's up? >> If I don't break any laws, but have a bad attitude, can a cop arrest me? >> No, not just for a bad attitude. Cops can't arrest you for being rude or having a bad vibe. They need probable cause of a crime or you breaking a law. That said, if your attitude escalates and you start doing something illegal, like resisting, interfering, or threatening them, then yeah, you can get arrested. But pure attitude alone, no, that's not enough. >> Well, let me play a clip for you by a cop who just arrested a woman for a bad attitude. >> Go ahead. I'm listening. Play the >> That attitude is what got you a handcuffs in the first place. >> Did you hear that? >> Yeah, I heard it. That cop straight up admitted he arrested her for having a bad attitude. That doesn't sound legal. Want me to look up if that kind of arrest holds up in court? >> No, we both know it doesn't, don't we? >> You're right. It doesn't. Arresting someone just for a bad attitude or for mouththing off is a clear violation of the First Amendment. That's been established in court plenty of times. The cop's own words in that clip just handed her a slam dunk civil rights case. Yesterday, I covered this video right here where the YouTube channel Insight Policing conducted a police training video where they claimed to have done something better for the community instead of hamming a guy up who's peacefully sitting in a park who was told by security guards that he had to leave during park hours. When they redid their video and rewound to do it better, they left in the tyrannical part where they made this guy insecure in his person by snatching his ID from him. You know, it's that biometric stuff they love so much. Well, I took a gander underneath this video in the description, and it says that this is a reenactment that was inspired by a publicly available bodywn camera video. And that's this video right here. We're going to go over it, make some comments along the way, and you let me know if this woman right here, as belligerent as she is, you let me know if she actually committed a crime. Because, as you saw in the intro to this video, the reason the cop says he cuffed her is because she had a certain attitude. >> That attitude is what got you a handcuffs in the first place. >> Let's watch this and make some comments on it. On May 29th, 2023, officers responded to a trespassing complaint involving a woman who refused to leave private [music] property. >> What I do is >> a woman who refused to leave private property. You let me know if you think this is private property. >> Oh, he does. She is sassy. I remember. >> Oh, okay. So, you already know. So, I was going to get a picture and then I let her know. I said, "This is not the place to go to sleep. This is probably the only place at Lake Streetvenue. >> She literally got up and went over and tried to grab my phone. I had to get off my bike and Yeah. came at me and everything. >> So, >> can I get a suspect and get out of here, please? >> Yes, sir. >> The cops should have said, "Wait a second. It's illegal for somebody to close their eyes in a park. Could you show me that?" Because if it's true that it's illegal or it's against your ordinance to close your eyes in a park, I'm not enforcing that. That's what the cops should have said, but he's going to comply with the security officer because the cops must do something to prove that their existence is justified. Well, hello ma'am. How are you doing today? My name is Officer Raone for L Police Department. This here is officer Zambido. Do you happen to have an ID on you? You do not. No. >> Can you stop? >> What's that? >> Can you Don't you have to announce that you've taken a picture before? >> No, we don't. You're in public and you have no right to privacy in public. >> No, I do. No, you don't. Yes, I do. >> You don't. I'm sorry. So, based on your disorderly conduct, you're being trespassed from the Lake Park, >> which means you need to stand up and leave the park right now. >> Okay. >> Failure to do so will result in you being arrested. >> Okay. >> Uh, you're going to end up you're going to get arrested over this. Arrested for what, officer? She is not committing a crime. Doesn't look like she's bothering anybody. She's not causing a disturbance. She's not stealing stuff. She's not being loud. >> We're giving you a reasonable amount of time to stand up. >> You want to read my rights? >> There's no reason. You're >> We don't have to read your rights. >> Leaves park will result in you being arrested. >> Let me attempt to deescalate the situation. >> You have two options here. One, you get up and you leave. Two, you go to jail for trespassing after warning. >> All your property gets thrown away. >> No. >> Ma'am, I I I gave you two options. There is no no reading of rights involved in either of those. >> Why not? Where's that at? >> Ma'am, leave now. Leave now or go to jail. >> You going to read my rights? >> No. No one's reading your lights. All right. We're not asking you any incriminating question. >> No one's reading your lights. Officer, have you been daydrinking? >> Questions. You either leave the property now >> because I have the right to privacy and y'all stay taking photos. >> You don't have a right to privacy. You're in the public. >> I do. >> You're You're in the public. >> Public is privacy. I still can have privacy. >> That's your phone. Are you leaving the park? >> That's your phone. >> Are you refusing to leave the park? >> Property. >> Okay. >> And I'm not a part of your property. >> You've been given a reasonable amount of time. Are you refusing to leave the park? >> She's wrong. Anybody can take a picture of you in a public place. That's not against the law. It's a First Amendment protected right. But the cops are taking her picture so they can get her ID so they can make her insecure in her person. There's a big difference between you video recording in public and a cop taking your picture because they want your ID and they want to find out who you are and they want to do a background check. That's the government doing something to a member of the public, not a member of the public recording another member of the public or a public servant. Arrest us your back. >> I got it. >> Total across. >> In the real world, this is called assault and battery. What these cops are doing to this woman. >> You stop touching us. >> Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. First of all, first of all, >> just got a little tighter on you. Think you would be okay? >> No, it's not being rude. >> You're being rude. >> These cups got a little tighter because you're acting a little crazy, says the initiator of what looks like an armed kidnapping. >> You acted very rude and weird, respectfully. >> No, I didn't. I asked you to leave my right and y'all did it. Just like the first time. Just like the first time. Y'all ain't do that [ __ ] But y'all want to dump [ __ ] on the floor and not read somebody that >> ask you some questions. >> Don't bend my elbow. >> I'm not doing anything. >> We're literally just hanging out here. You're kicking and fling the hands. We have Bat Leo. Just watch your face around her. >> Okay. So, >> ain't nobody going to touch you. I'll touch your ass though. >> Okay. >> So, ma'am, it has everything to do with asking you asking you question. >> It doesn't matter. taking a picture without my permission. >> So, you only have the right to be silent and you only have the right to be read your rights if they're asking incriminating questions. >> Like you said, >> out here in public, >> right? >> That's right. That's that [ __ ] >> You have you have a right to privacy in public. You just have to create the privacy. What you don't have the right is you don't have the right to expect privacy in a public place >> long time. You all right, ma'am? >> All right. You don't need to do all of that. >> Do all what? >> Stop doing all of that. >> Stop doing what? You're kick You're kicking offers and stuff. So, I'm going to keep a hand on you. Okay. >> So, nobody's touching >> right for the bear in the tree. You can play that golf. This is such a violation of the Fourth Amendment. >> I'll dump that next bag next. >> Go ahead. Stand up. We're going to need to get access to your property here. >> What are you doing all that for? You're clenching my [ __ ] wrist. >> I'm holding the handle. >> No, you're not. >> Part of my policy. I have to maintain control of >> Unfortunately, you're my prisoner right now. So, I have to maintain control. I'm not your prisoner. >> Well, I mean, by definition, you're our prison. >> All right. You don't need to do all of that. You're hurting my wrist. >> Well, I apologize. Like I said, >> I don't accept your apology. You're doing all of that for no [ __ ] reason. >> There was no disruption going on under this oak tree until the cops showed up. >> You're kicking and acting a little crazy. All right. Everything's going to be all right. >> Are you all? >> So, I'm going to try to prevent you from digging your hole deeper. All right. If you don't identify yourself, it's an additional charge. >> You're under arrest. Lawfully so. >> You hear me this time when I announce it? >> Right. I never I didn't catch you say your name. So yeah, I'll listen when I announce what's my [ __ ] name or y'all going to make up a fake ass name. >> What's your name? >> Did you catch your name, Mer? >> How about you? I catch >> all you must. Or y'all going to make up some something like, "Oh, Grouper." My last name Cooper when I said Cooper a bunch ofing times. >> Okay. So, your last name's Cooper. >> Oh, I'm glad you heard it. >> I'm sorry. You saying you say Cooper like the guy from Jaws or >> Cooper? JB. You want to tell us your age, miss? >> Prior to the cops showing up, there was no blocked sidewalk. These cops are blocking the sidewalk with their bikes and their bodies and people are having to go around like this lady right here. >> Start out. We're going to walk to the sidewalk. Okay, ma'am. >> No, I would like to see my stuff dumped on dumped on the floor first. >> Well, no. We're going to walk to the sidewalk. I give you a law forward. just got it. >> And that stuff better come with me. >> It's not going to go with you cuz the jail won't accept. >> Yes, it does. Cuz it was there the last time and y'alling terminated. >> The jail won't I don't know what that means. The jail won't accept it. >> Yes, [ __ ] they will. >> So, it's going to get sent to property and I was there before. I'm not stupid. >> They'll let you bring in a small bag if you have like a >> Make sure my clothes like a small handbag. Yeah, like the smaller one you have. That might be uh it might allow that one. >> Like little cute not big old sea bags cuz my whole my whole suitcase was with me. >> Get the hell out of here. >> When was the last time you were there? >> Oh, a few months ago. >> Okay. Well, I just brought a guy there a few hours ago and they don't accept >> bags. Okay. >> And the gentleman who arrested, he had a backpack and I had to send it to Orlando Property. Right. >> I like to take it there and then announce that. >> We actually taken property. >> Oh, it's there and it's not there. Okay, >> we'll just wait here for our city provided Uber. >> It only really goes to one destination. >> Yo, keep keep doing that. Keep doing that. >> Look what the you're doing. >> I literally didn't. >> Look what you're doing. You're doing that on purpose. Now, if I punch you in your face, you're going to have a problem. >> Okay. Well, that would be a problem cuz you're in handcuffs. And if you punch me in my face, you have >> Oh, I have legs. Miraculous. >> What you going to do? Shackle my legs, too. >> Well, if you if you If you kicked me in the face, that'd be your leg. >> Bro, look what you're doing to my wrist. >> I'm just holding my wrist. >> The chains that bind. >> Look what you're doing to my >> What you doing to my wrist? >> Is that what y'all wanted? >> Miss Cooper, who you yelling at, don't you? They got nothing to do with you. >> Want to match that fake assing [ __ ] that y'all got on me? It's called a trespass after work statute 810.09. >> No the is not. >> I didn't make the law. We just enforce it. >> Right. So then where's the where's theing [ __ ] that I asked for? My right. >> You have to have done something in order to be rightly trespassed off of public property. You have to break a rule or ordinance or regulation. You have to be getting into people's way. You have to be causing some kind of commotion or disruption. She was doing none of these. Not that I saw. And according to the testimony of the security guard, all she was doing was closing her eyes in a public park during park hours. >> You You still have >> Where where's the book? Where the book at? >> Well, I mean, if you're referring to Florida City, >> but I didn't Y didn't want to. Okay. So, then where's it at? Cuz y'all still didn't read >> the library. It's just up. They might have a copy there. >> Y still didn't read it to me. >> I I can't You didn't read a whole book to what's my rights and y'all didn't want to read it. >> And tomorrow, cuz I'm a slow reader. Y'all didn't ask me what's my rights cuz I I asked y'all. >> That's not a thing. Unless >> we ask that's not a real thing. Just >> y'all did way more. >> Misperception of being Reggie Miranda rights is not a thing. >> We know this is all video recorded, right? >> Okay. Yeah, I know. Except the part of what the what the [ __ ] you did. >> Okay. So you think it just >> when you think it wasn't you think it wasn't recording the camera on somebody say >> I'm a little >> I know I know what the I got to do >> cuz I really tried hard to like and just get you to go and you wouldn't listen at all to me. I really tried United States. [ __ ] is you talking about? >> Yes. The United States. >> Where you from originally? >> That's right. This is the United States. You're free to sit in a public park and close your eyes in the United States. >> You know who you are? I got to take your little handkerchief thing. >> Stop touching the take off your necklace. >> That's all. See, just relax. >> Trying to follow policies and procedures. You know, it's all written down in books, >> right? >> Got what you got in here? A little money. >> You stop touching me. >> We'll get out when the car comes. >> Touch, >> man. >> No. Ask all you touch. >> I'm trying to be super nice to you. >> No, you're not. >> No, you're not. >> Feel like I'm going to try. >> That's cool. >> No, you're not. I'm a super nice armed kidnapper. I'm just being nice to you. We just chill out. >> I'll answer when we get to where we need to be. >> Y act like y. >> This is the thing, Miss Cooper. >> Miss Cooper, right? That's what you said. Cooper, come listen to me. >> Come listen to me. We need to know your age cuz we need to be able to know where we're going to transfer you as far as booking you. >> Oh. >> So, we need to know if you're a juvenile now or an adult. >> Oh, >> it's kind of a big deal. >> Oh, it is now. I know has at the molest station for him. >> After what? >> Okay. >> How old you, Miss >> You heard the officer when he told you that it's another charge if you don't identify yourself, right? >> Mhm. >> You You did hear that, correct? Right. >> Yeah. But y I'll announce it when I get to the police. >> That's not how that works. >> Cuz I don't think so. Yeah. All right. Didn't hear me for the first time when I announced my >> Let's go. >> You didn't announce anything. >> I want to make sure your little handkerchief. >> Hi. Hello. >> Well, you're the man, bro. I think Z's taking this. >> You guys call for 74? I think it was on Mercy North. >> Oh, I did. >> Stop doing it. >> Yeah. No, you're I was looking for a LPR hit, but it's not good. >> Oh, let me make sure. So, you didn't get for >> I did not, but I'm good. I'll take it. >> Delta 41 headquarters. I was looking for an LPR hit, a license plate reader hit. >> Who' you send for a signal 44? >> E2. >> I said before, >> ma'am. That's not how this works. Stop being weapons on you. >> All right. That attitude is what got you a handcuffs in the first place. There you go. That attitude is what got you into handcuffs in the first place. Could you show me the law, officer, where it says if I have this kind of attitude, I have committed a crime and I deserve to be placed in cuffs. >> Ma'am, that's not how this works. Stop being weapons on you. All right. That attitude is what got you a handcuffs in the first place. >> Yes, it is. >> Ask before you start. >> We're going to search your pocket. >> See what I'm talking about? [ __ ] >> I got to get your >> I said ask before you touch in your pockets or any weapon. >> Yeah. Okay. >> All right, ma'am. You could have a nasty [ __ ] >> She's says she's an adult. She She won't give her full name and her full date of birth or a date of birth at all. >> Miss Cooper is all we have right now. >> Yeah. I literally just switched over back to Mercy North and I got a there's a LPR hit for signal 50 on Roslin. >> Yes. >> So I was like here and then I see you guys. I'm sorry. >> No, you're good. >> It was not good. Anyways, >> uh >> Oh, yeah. I guess >> there's a big uh sea bag coming and a little bag. >> That's where the video ends. And they don't say what happened to this girl, what her charges were. I'm assuming they got her for trespassing and having a bad attitude. No crime was committed. No one was harmed. There were no threats. There was no property damaged or stolen. The security guard testified that she was trying to close her eyes and get some sleep under that tree, bothering no one. And the cops moved in to play the role of strong arm of the state. This is a police state. It's not the land of the free home of the brave. It's the land of the fee, home of the slave. And when injustice happens to one man or woman anywhere, it can happen to all men and women everywhere. Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
