Oh, hell no. >> Hey, what the hell are you doing? >> I got to get my dog to a bed. >> I don't give a He's about to die. >> I don't care. She can bring your dog. >> Touch me. >> Don't touch me. >> You're touch me. My dog's dying. A lot of people, and I do mean a lot of people, think that this female trooper is justified in her actions against this hysterical woman for racing down the road trying to get her dying pet to a vet. Let's see what you think. It's July 14th, 2025. This is trooper Holly Romero from the Arkansas State Police. This blue SUV blows through the red light. She does a U-turn in the middle of the road and the audio starts right about now. [Music] 69 miles per hour. >> Hell no. >> By the way, the SUV did cut somebody off on the other side of the road. 77 mph. I know I I know I I know I I I know I I I72 zebra 2264 I'm just going to fast forward through this. She doesn't really do anything dangerous, not anything else. The The only dangerous thing I saw her do is go through the red light and cut somebody off on the other side of the road, which was dangerous. >> All right, they just pulled off into the veterinary. Hey, what the hell are you doing? >> I got to get my dog to a bed. >> I don't give a [ __ ] >> I got to get my dog. >> No, ma'am. >> He's about to die. >> I don't care. She can bring your dog. >> Don't touch me. >> Don't touch me. >> You're touching me. >> You better do. >> Why is she doing this? The The woman. Yeah, she made some bad decisions. Yes, she's hysterical. Yes, she already did put people in jeopardy on the road. Yeah, she could have killed somebody, but she's clearly not a criminal. She's a pet lover. Pets are basically, you know, anybody who loves a pet, it's part of your family. It is your family. So, of course, understandably, you're concerned about that pet, you want to rush them to the doctor as quickly as possible. This woman is clearly not a criminal. Is it really necessary for trooper Holly Romero to be acting like this? What you got to do? >> My dog's dying. >> You're just at the wrong vet. We got the wrong >> You're going to cut off traffic because your dog is dying. >> Are you kidding me? >> Flashers on, mama. Get him to the back. Get him to the back. Go to the other. >> I don't care if you had your flashers on. >> You almost You ran the vehicle off the road. You're going into traffic. Stop. Let me sit up. I will buy. Whatever you mean, but let me sit up. I will sit down and do whatever you say. Sit up. Wait. I can't get up. I killed >> G12. >> I killed him. >> Get in. >> Okay, I will. There it is. >> I mean, zero compassion from this trooper. Zero understanding, zero people skills. >> No, I'm just telling you. >> Nobody was hurt. There's There's no injured party. There could have been. Yeah, it's dangerous. You know, if you want, give her a citation. I guess I'm not for that either, but don't treat her like this. >> I don't give a [ __ ] what you're telling me. Get in. Hope I have one in custody, one female. >> And they really wonder why people hate cops. >> Ma'am, listen. I know. Uh, you can bring your dog in there. >> They're close. Okay. What's her drive? Where's her driver's license? >> I don't know. I'll get it to you. >> What's her name, ma'am? >> Her name is April Robins. >> April Robins. Okay. >> You go do your thing. That's fine. >> What's your date of birth? >> 91 1780. My name's April Robinson. I've never been in trouble. >> Come on, trooper. Come on. >> Ma'am, you're lucky you didn't get TV eyed off the road cuz that's the next stage I was going toward. >> You were doing unsafe things on the road. So, I could have done another unsafe thing, a really unsafe thing, and flipped your car in traffic and put more people in jeopardy. Real smart, trooper. >> The heartbeat. >> I understand your dog is in a in bad shape, but do you understand you ran a light, you went into oncoming traffic and cut off the vehicle, you could have killed somebody. >> That's right. >> CF comments. >> That's true. But she didn't kill anybody. She's clearly not a person of interest. She's not a criminal. She shouldn't be treated like this. >> In my opinion, >> why isn't she going? >> You're going to jail today. >> No, I'm talking about my mom. And now you're gonna take her to jail. Why? What does that do? How does that benefit society? >> April, your address is it? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> She's lucky she didn't get tied. So, her dog is apparently dying and she decided that she was going to blow through a light with her blinkers on or her hazards on and then she went Yes. in town and then she went around a vehicle with oncoming traffic cutting them off like she was running. So, I mean >> and the mom took it inside. She's lucky she didn't hurt somebody. >> Okay, here's your chance, male officer, to be the good cop on the scene and to speak some sense into this female officer and say, "Well, she's obviously not a criminal. She doesn't have a criminal record. Yes, she made a mistake, but nobody got hurt." Why don't we exercise that discretion that people always talk about? Let's just cut her some slack. She's already grieving. What good is it going to do to put her in jail? Come on, let's hear some common sense and empathy, male officer. [Music] And I told her she's lucky she didn't get TVI because she just happened to slow down because she was behind a log truck. >> Yeah. Well, she I I was behind her. She >> Now they're violating her Fourth Amendment right to be secure in her property. for having really done nothing wrong. >> You just would not >> for having not committed a crime. >> Pull over. >> Look at these goons. It's infuriating. Going through her stuff. What's going on? >> My mom came to visit me. We were both walking our dog and I didn't shut the door hard enough that the cat came in. It's just this gray cat that comes in and out and the dog took off. And when I picked it up off the road, I felt like a safe horse. I wanted to get to the vanity. I didn't know what I was so sore. I just didn't want to kill my mom. >> Still going through her belongings without consent. >> That's all it was. Oh, G38. >> I know, but I don't know. I mean, whatever. But we don't know. We don't know. >> No, I wasn't. >> How do we know that? >> Let her know. >> I know that I wasn't faking it. >> I wasn't faking it at all. >> Is it okay? >> See, you have all the information and we're to take possession of that vehicle. I'm going to bring them keys in for you. Okay. >> I know, but I wasn't. >> Yes, ma'am. She's going to go to jail today. >> You're right. So you're right. That's all we have to do. >> You are right. >> She's going to go to jail. I could exercise discretion and be a good person and show some understanding. I could escort you to the next vet if these people can't get the job done for you, but I'm not going to. I'm going to be a cruddy human being and lock somebody up and put them in jail when they don't really belong there. >> Right. >> And I was about it. I don't know what you >> My mother. Yes, that's good. >> You live here? >> Yes. >> Where you work at? >> I work two places. I work at Clinton Primary and I work at Walmart. >> Do you think anybody would be against these cops if they did show discretion in this case? Yeah, she committed a bonehead and dangerous move. In her rush to get her pet to the vet, she could have wiped out a family, which would have been tragic. But none of that happened. And they can exercise discretion, but they choose not to. Why? >> Still going through her belongings. >> Dog gone. >> Almost almost backed the vehicle into the trooper car. >> My god. >> Trying to take the keys out. I didn't realize it wasn't in park. Jeez Louise. Okay, I'm going to hand um I'm going to hand her mom these keys and let her take possession of it. I wrote her down for felony fleeing. Um and I mean whatever you think, Kyle, but I got her for felony fleeing. >> Now she's slapping on the ch. It's not bad enough where she's going to take her to jail. She's going to take her to jail and give her a criminal record on felony fleeing. And this cop, this male cop's just going to stand there and take that and say that's acceptable. >> Uh resisting arrest because she told me she wasn't going to go to jail when I told her she was and she pulled her arm away from me and so I had her up against the ve vehicle. >> Felony fleeing and resisting arrest for a distraught woman who's out of her mind about her beloved pet. and uh failure to yield to traffic and there's pass improper passing. >> I could see issuing those tickets. I'm not for that, but I could see her issuing those tickets and letting and and dropping the felony fleeing and resisting arrest charges and not take her to jail. That would be reasonable by pretty much any measure. Don't take this woman to jail. She's not a criminal. Yeah, she did something stupid. She committed traffic violations. And because you're an agent of the state, just issue the citation and say, "Have a good day." But don't add insult to this emotionally charged situation by being a trooper dick about it. You already talked to your mom, though. >> Yeah. So, um, anything else you can think of or that I need to do? I may need some instruction on the felony paperwork, but I don't I don't think so. Maybe not. I don't know. The felony paperwork, maybe. >> Okay. Okay. >> No, I'm not going to help you with your felony paperwork. Don't give this poor woman who has no criminal record. She has no record at all. Don't give her a felony charge. What the hell are you thinking, Holly? >> All right. Well, I greatly appreciate greatly appreciate it. Um, I'm going to give her these and I'll take her on in. Thank you. >> In my opinion, that's exactly why people hate cops. They have no compassion. They have no empathy. They have an inability while they're wearing that uniform to be just good old human beings. If you disagree with me, I want to know about it. Leave your thoughts in the comments section below. I'll see you in the next video. [Music]
