The manager reported that two women had concealed stolen items in their clothing and fled to a nearby vehicle without paying. Here is what the officers did next. >> Hey, what's going on today? >> Uh, we had a customer run out. She's in the uh black car right there. >> Which one? The Infinity. >> Yeah, right behind the black van. The Dodge van. I think that's an Infinity. She's in there cuz her friend's still in here shopping so she couldn't get away. >> Was she one of the one stealing? >> Yes, she's the one >> the one that ran to the car there. >> Y >> Okay. And the other two are in there. >> Yeah. They're they haven't whatever they had they put in the shopping basket and they're just acting like they're regular shopping now. But she got away with stuff in her pockets. >> Mhm. It was like undergarments, bras, underweares, and things along those lines. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Uh so what's your protocol on what you guys do here? Do you prosecute? Do you want >> Yes, we do. Mhm. >> And we also trespass and banned. >> Mhm. >> All right. Is that what you wanted to do here? >> Yes. >> So, >> yes. >> Okay. >> Charlie, I'm going 97. >> Yeah. >> What's going on? Uh, get back in the car for me. >> Oh, okay. You >> right. Correct. So, who else is in the car? >> Why are you talking like THAT? >> WHO ELSE IS IN THE CAR? HOLD ON. Hold on. >> Who else is in the car? >> First of all, don't come up here talking like that. You didn't talk. >> Who else is in the vehicle? Okay. So, right now we're investigating a crime. >> Okay. That's what you said when you first came up here. Don't don't talk to me like I'm a child because I'm not a child. So, talk to me with respect. I don't have my ID. >> You're not ready. No. Let me get your information. >> What wrong with you? You need to know how to talk to people. That's that [ __ ] ain't even when you pull up. Oh, you should have said, "Oh, X and YZ is going on. This why I'm at your car." You should have said something. You just car >> I'm pretty sure you know why. What's your name? >> AM I IN THE ONE? AM I IN TROUBLE? >> WELL, we're investigating that now. >> Investigator. What? They say something about me. I'm like, give my name. So what you [ __ ] you need my name for? Investigate me for what? I didn't do [ __ ] >> Why you coming to me talking to me? I DID SOMETHING WRONG. >> HUH? >> She just ran out. >> Where' she go? >> SHE JUST WENT THAT WAY. >> OH, she like that. Hey, she going UP THERE. >> Oh yeah. It's game time, boy. Yeah. Look at that, man. Look at that. You know, if you got kids, you spend time with your kids. You know what I mean? Put your hands up. >> Oh, face first. >> Taser been deployed. Taser's been deployed. >> Got her ass together, BOY. OH, [screaming] WAIT. >> STOP. Put your hands up. >> Oh, >> TASER. TASER. TASER'S BEEN DEPLOYED. Taser's been deployed. TASER'S BEEN ROLL UP. ROLL OVER. >> Come here. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK RIGHT HERE. >> Don't you move. >> Stand up. So stay down there. >> 24 to 16. They're saying uh the female got to be the cheater. Uh uh shoot. >> I was stop. >> No. Why were you running? I told you to stop. I told you to stop when I got >> That's ridiculous. These people talking about Oh, you didn't even have to do that. Well, you didn't have to run. It's like, okay, you stole it. All right, it is what it is. But you caught now. All right. All right, you got me. It's over. All right, you got me. But no, you decided to run and all of that extra stuff, man. Come on, man. Wait. >> Hold on. I'm about to take you. Give me a sec. >> If you IF YOU COME, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, MAN. YOU CAN'T TALK THE POLICE. >> But if I tell you to stop way back there and you keep running and you about to go in the door and close it, I don't know what you about to do. You understand that? >> I don't have time to figure that out. Okay. >> Right. You can't do that. You have to stop when we say stop because at the end of the day, we don't know if you're going in there to grab a weapon. You're going behind a closed door. You understand that? >> So, you can't do that. >> And don't go grab no weapon, man. Cuz we will send you up through there. Okay? You will be knocking on them heaven gates. All right? So, be easy. You don't want me to think that you got a weapon. All right? [laughter] I >> Why were you running? Why? >> I did STEAL OUT THE STORE. BUT I KNOW THE POLICE, THEY ARREST EVEN WHEN IT'S a little >> WHY DO YOU THINK YOU GOING TO GET ARRESTED? You stealing people [ __ ] >> I know WHAT YOU EXPECT. >> BUT IF THEY HAVE TO BE AGGRESSIVE, they know. >> Stand up. Okay. >> I can't I can't. >> Okay. You going to wait till FD come check you out? >> It's like right here. Come like right here. >> 1312. You have FD in route? Uh-uh. Uh-uh. No. No phone. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. You're my >> We will do that when we get this situated. Right now, you are det. No, I I'll let you do that though. >> You want to sit up a little bit more? >> Sit up and scoot back. >> I have um >> 1312. >> What's that thing? I have bad anxiety. >> It is. They'll see my car outside of the tire shop bay and she's sitting inside here on the floor. NO, I'M NOT PARKING [ __ ] I'M ABOUT TO GET my car. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. You don't have nothing to do with me. I'm going to find out what's going on my get my dog. I'm not parking my car. >> Park the car. >> I'm going to GET I DON'T TRUST HIM. DO YOU SEE HOW HE'S TALKING TO ME? >> I DON'T TRUST HIM. >> I'm going to get her. I don't like him. The way he talk TO ME LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. >> I'm not him. >> I don't care. I'M GOING TO GET MY CHILD. I'M GOING TO GET MY I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. HE CALLING ME TALKING TO ME LIKE not him. The other one I'm going to walk. STOP THE CAR. [screaming] >> I'M GOING TO PARK MY CAR. I GOT TO PARK MY CAR. PUT IT IN PARK. >> LET ME PUT IN PARK. You got to move. Move. I ain't THE WRONG TOUCH ME. DON'T TOUCH ME. >> I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. WHY YOU BEHIND ME? >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> NO. GET ON ME. I didn't do anything wrong. I told her, >> put your ass behind your back. Put your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. I GOT GOING ON. >> I CAN HELP YOU OUT. STOP. >> I want your supervisor. I really want you. I really want >> They're not going to cuz I didn't do anything wrong. >> They're not going to do. They said they said I did something wrong. Stop the lawsuit against them. I had to do [ __ ] screaming >> because I'm mad. >> I can help you out. Stop screaming. >> I'm mad. I want super. I don't care. >> They're not going to appear like at >> I was super I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Okay. >> I don't know anything. >> This is yours, right? >> Yes, that's mine. >> Okay. >> And then you want TO TWIST MY ARM, [ __ ] >> [ __ ] ass. >> I can't stand black bullies cuz y'all worse than these crackers. >> Don't bring rac. >> I don't care. That's the way he holding me UP CUZ I'M LIKE I GET OUT THE CAR LIKE I DON'T KNOW THE BEHIND ME BRO. I GOT OUT GET BACK IN THE CAR. I'M LIKE WHAT what's going on? I swear to God I hate black POLICERS AND I HATE WHITE POLICE. I HATE POLICE PERIOD IF I'M BLACK to bring rac I just I don't like y'all. I don't like y'all cuz look how y'all treating me like I'm a criminal. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Uh besides you going in there to steal and then leaving. It's like you cause the biggest fuss when you're the one that's doing wrong. Like I don't understand it. I don't understand it, man. >> Nothing. I don't care what the going on. THAT'S [ __ ] WAS TALKING. [ __ ] YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE ALONE WITH MY CHILD. SO YOU DAMN RIGHT I WAS COMING OUT BECAUSE YOU DOING ANYTHING to my child on the ground or anything. [ __ ] I WAS GOING TO BE ON your I went to jail today. I promise cuz you very disrespect you ugly ass. I think your child is okay. >> Oh, boy. >> I think she's a-ok. Okay. >> Thank you. The way he THE WAY HE CAME UP TALKING, I DON'T LIKE THAT. >> SO, what we do is we don't have to explain everything right away. >> We're going to tell we're going to tell you how what to do. >> Well, first off, stop walking. >> I don't have nothing to do with what she got going on. I didn't if I knew my DAUGHTER WAS IN TROUBLE, I WOULD I WOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING LIKE, "OKAY, WELL, child did in that store." I don't know anything. >> I know. We We do all that. >> Do you get her ID? >> No, >> I don't have my ID. You got you got a name date of birth? >> No, I don't have a name and date of birth. You don't had to do anything wrong. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. What did I do wrong? >> AM I THE ONE IN TROUBLE? Hold >> on. Whether you believe you've done nothing wrong or right wrong right now, if you refuse to identify, it is an extra. >> She knows exactly what's going on, man. We got to agree on one thing. We got to agree on one thing. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Okay. She's probably been growing up in and out criminal, whatever. Whether she's gotten caught or not, whatever. But she's passed this trait down to her daughter. Oops. What's this? The hell is this? Well, >> I didn't do anything. >> How you get this on the screen? What the hell is this? Wait. Technical difficulties, man. What the heck is this? I don't even know what I clicked. Oh my goodness. >> You believe you didn't do anything. I didn't do nothing wrong. I DON'T I REALLY FEEL LIKE Y'ALL just >> Oh my god, y'all. Britney. >> Britney. B R I T N Y. >> Okay. Anything on you that's going to poke or harm me? >> This was my earrings about that. >> Stand right there. Hold on. >> It really actually hurt. >> What? >> My um ankle. >> Okay. We'll get you checked out. All right. >> Yeah. >> Any other injuries? >> No. >> Anything in your pockets? >> No. I'm going to go now. Okay. I got your phone right here. Okay. So, that'll go with you. widen your stance. So, I'mma hold and just Oh, wait. Hey, you got to be still so I can yank it out. You cannot jerk from me. Okay. >> Yeah. I got to just do a quick pull, but you got to stay still. >> All right. >> There's one in front of me. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I know. Give me a minute cuz I done got wrapped up in it. >> I don't know where the other is. >> All right. She got one in her hip and one her other leg. I need you to lean up for me. All right. Right here in the edge of the truck. All right. >> Can I put this whole water? >> I'll get you a bottle. Just give me a sec. Sit down. Oh, here's fire department right here. So, let them check you. I need some water. >> They have to check you cuz I pulled a taser. >> She was tased. Just >> Yeah, she just need She's saying she's feeling sick. >> She keeps asking for water. I told her to give it to you once she check once you check her out. >> Okay. >> Honestly, probably need probably heart rate. All right. Let me get the water in there by chance. >> Man, she nice. I wouldn't give her nothing. You took off running. What? What makes you think you deserve anything? Nothing. You get nothing. [laughter] >> Gosh, I am still 1012. But I p I had already heard traffic going on when I was getting off. So I throw on my lights, got here. I seen her running towards this way. So, I got out my car. I told her to stop. She ran in the bay. I kept telling her to stop. She ran in a door and looked like she was about to close it. I said, "Stop her. I'mma um I'mma call I'mma deploy the taser." She like she's about to close the door. So, hop pop. And she said she admitted to stealing. She was like she just runs because she gets anxiety when she sees um police officers. >> All every Gen Z got anxiety. All these new kids got anxiety, man. >> Taser stuff wrapped up. Like I said, whenever whenever you deploy or whatever and you get them out, just pull the uh the tubes out, right? Put the needles back in there. >> We got one more. >> Um, no, she's feeling sick >> and need them more. And I was like, you want to think about water when you still was like, I know. >> Oh, I think one didn't deploy. Is that why that empty one there? Yeah, you probably it probably hit somewhere and we'll find that >> it looks like right here in the back and back cuz she was running from me then she turned and was about to close the door and pop. So >> yes, >> hold on. I'm still Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. first appointment. So, I didn't even know I didn't even know that um I could put this in a bag. So, I got to evidence, right? >> But other than that, she says she's fine. Um what you say? >> She didn't know. >> I don't even know. I didn't get to that. >> The investigation is still ongoing. Officer Barios heads inside the store to confirm exactly what was taken and finds out the entire confrontation was over a few packs of underwear. >> Britney, can I talk to you? Okay. >> I'm going to take you for resistant without violence. Okay. >> I don't care. Take whoever. I can >> listen. I'm trying to work with you. Don't bother me at all. >> You want to take your phone with you? >> Yeah. I didn't take my phone. >> Okay. Is there anything in the car you want to take with you? >> No. >> Okay. You want the fire department to check you out before we go? Do you feel hurt or anything like that? Do you need to be checked out? >> No, man. Just come on table. >> Let's go. You'll have a bond. So, we'll be out. They going to take me to jail for resist for the race. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. Yeah. Come on. >> Yeah. What's up? Take a seat. >> So, you have your your phone and the earring as your property, right? >> You want to go in the car? >> Put my ear on. >> Go in the car. Is there a kid in the car? >> I'll open the window. >> Drink what you want. Uh-uh. Listen. Drink what you want because these cups about to go in the back of you. You can't stay like this. So, here. Finish this. Go ahead and finish. >> Finish it off. Do you um I got your phone on me. Uh some socks and a lip gloss. That's all you had? Like who are you with? Like are your pe you left your people down there? Okay. Are they young like you? The adults. Yeah. She said the people she's with are adults. Oh gosh. You serious? >> You here stealing with y'all? Waiting on y'all to go steal. She don't know. >> No. I told her that was because of my other thoughts. I got rid of >> Oh, >> it was just me. >> Just you? >> Mhm. >> Oh, so she's saying it was But she's the only one that was stealing. >> Mom's over, so she >> Oh, she did. Oh, well then, never mind. Sit up cuz I got to put the seat belt on you and I got to put these cuffs, right? So, sit up. Hold them down. Okay. Hold on. Wait. Wait. Oh, girl. What? I told you you good here. You got to sit back up real quick. Hold on. >> All right. >> Hey, don't lay on your back. Lay on your side. Okay. It's not safe for you to lay on your back like that. Hey, listen. You got to lay on your side, okay? You can't you can't lay on your um your back like that cuz if you end up throwing up, you may not be able to roll over fast enough. Stay like that. We're going to the hospital. >> It's a little hard to hear over the road noise, but listen closely. >> Ayana finally admits that the stolen merchandise is hidden inside her mom's car. >> So, you took off running and >> so she ain't even see you take off running? >> Oh, wow. >> I took off running. You were what? >> I was sitting in the car first. >> So you didn't run out of the store. So you just randomly run the police right there. I already knew they already knew what was >> So did what did you steal out of the store? Is that gloss yours? >> Yes. >> So where's the stuff that you stole? Is it in the car? >> Yeah. So you successfully stole it. You were in the car, but y'all didn't get the chance to leave yet. Right. Is that what happened or No. >> Okay. Yeah. But I I feel like the cop was right there. He didn't see her get out and start running. Or was there another car? Cuz I feel like that don't even sound right if that's the truth. Cuz the cop was right there. Unless maybe that other lady that was there looking over, maybe she was in that car or something. I don't know. >> All right. >> This the itemized receipt of everything. >> This is >> Okay. And it's up to 4170. Okay. So, we got the There was one that had a >> Oh, this over $40 underwear. Man, you got to be [ __ ] me. >> I think a baby blue and uh sweatpants. We got her. Um I don't know if she had anything on or if she maybe stashed it. >> She I'm pretty sure she took it off cuz she changed clothes. >> Okay. >> So she had a hoodie on and um looks like it was Yeah, it was all stuff inside the pocket. >> So when she left here, did she still have the items? >> Yes. >> Okay. So the items are out of the store right now somewhere. >> Yeah, it went straight into into that car. >> She went straight to >> Give me one sec. Okay. So, here's what's the deal that they're saying that some of the items that were taken are still in your car. >> So, they have search the vehicle. >> Okay. >> All right. No problem. So, all of the stuff that that is in there is going to have. >> So, let me ask you this. So, when your daughter came back to the car, did she have anything with her? >> No, she had black on. She did say she like it ain't beat when I came out. But she said I already had it. I'm like why would it be for some? She like I don't know. I just had to beat. I'm like okay I just I just started eat my food now. If I KNEW MY CHILD WAS I HAVE money my my kids have to steal it all. >> Okay. All right. Let me just take a look. >> Well, you know the thing about these body cams is you never know how. Just because a body cam starts out one way, it could end up being another thing. So, as this story is going along, at first I'm thinking both of them are in cahoots in there with it. But now, now that we're getting towards the end, um it could be a possibility that the daughter was just, you know, stealing and mom didn't know. But the thing that kind of where this falls apart for me a little bit is that when she comes back to the vehicle, she doesn't have anything in her hand, which correlates with what the people are saying in in the store that she concealed it on her person. So when she gets to the vehicle, you don't see her pulling things out and everything. You know what I mean? Because they don't catch her with the stuff. the stuff is in the vehicle. So, you're in the vehicle as the mom and you don't see her daughter pulling out underweares and everything else that she done had stuffed on on her like man. >> Uh, okay. It's in the trunk. All right. So, yeah. I mean, mom could have been in the front and I I mean I don't know. I I don't know. >> Is this everything here? Just double check for me if this is everything that's on the >> Oh, no. There's more. juicy underwear. >> And this female 151. >> Okay, that's okay. Four pack and two sets. >> Yeah. >> That's everything that's on. >> Let me take a picture of all that. >> Okay. And the cameras. Uh, do they work in here? >> Yeah. >> And do you have access to them? >> Yeah, we're trying to get >> Okay. All right. >> All is for some juicy couture underwear. 2 43 or 16. >> Yes, sir. >> Your 1015 is going to be an accessory to the 65. This 43. >> In police terminology, a 1015 is a suspect in cuffs. A 1065 is the transport unit taking them to jail. So, when an officer calls the suspect an accessory to a 65, they mean one thing. The cuffs are on, the investigation is over, and this suspect is officially along for the ride. >> Feeling better? After a chaotic night, the transporting officer takes a surprising approach. Instead of lecturing Aana, she offers some genuine advice about her future. >> Have you been working on trying to um get up with producers and stuff and get studio time? >> I just feel like everybody trying to rap my what? >> Well, you're already defeating yourself before you start. So, you got to change that attitude right there. Because no one's going to want to hear you either if you don't rap with confidence and rap like you know you got something to tell. You can you can rap about something that sets you sets you apart. So don't ever think that oh well there's other people doing it. What's why why would they want to hear me? There's plenty of singers there plenty of rappers. Plenty of everyone's there's plenty of everybody and everything. You get what I'm saying? So don't have that negative attitude like rap like you the [ __ ] Rap like you you know that people want to hear you. And don't matter if it's 51 other female rappers. You got you know what I'm saying? Like you got to know what's going to set you aside that's going to make someone want to hear you. Like do you write your own stuff? See? So, you got to you got to really take the energy that you use to write and to to do other stuff, put that energy into mastering your craft and listen to who you don't want to sound like. Listen to who you may want to sound like. Come up with your own sound and you can do whatever you want to do. Keep your head down, do school work, all that. because you don't want to keep getting in trouble and now have a record to where now you're going to have have prior convictions and that's going to enhance the charge. So, you need to keep that in mind, too. If you if you have convictions and you're lucky enough, but I can tell you right now, she's newer. She's she's new. She's new. The couple of things that lets me know that [clears throat] in the beginning she said, you know, it was her first time. Sarge had to kind of walk her through, you know, putting it back in and stuff like that. As far as the taser is concerned, she's never shot a taser before, right? So that along with, you know, the like the overly nice stuff like she was nice, you know, she's a nice lady, you know. I could tell this woman is a nice she's a nice lady, you know. Um, but I would love to see her, you know, once she has a little bit time on a job and she's tired of humans cuz that's what's going to happen. [laughter] You start off like this and then some time goes past and you get tired of human beings, okay? Just in general, okay? Um, you know, she's given great advice and stuff like that, but the thing is is that it it it defeats it. [sighs] How can I word this, man? I hate to say this, but she's a lost cause. Okay, it's over. All right. This now, is she gonna be somebody that's going to be a career criminal? I don't know. I don't think so. But she's definitely heading down that path, you know. And the thing is is that I would prefer people to give advice on things that they can obtain that's more of a reality versus a fantasy. you know, there's, you know, real real things and goals and stuff like that that you can obtain in life versus, you know, a fantasy, which is, you know, f like goals that you could obtain city, state, federal jobs, right? A fantasy and stuff like that is like content creation, music, things of that nature, you know. It's very very hard to achieve success. It takes hard work, dedication, and years of sacrifice to get to the point to where you're actually gener can actually go fulltime with whatever it is that you're trying to do. So her like in her case, she's trying to do music. What's the chances of her really being an a artist that's going to blow up and be on the radio and get signed? It's more of a fantasy, right? But something so petty like this, can she get this dropped down? If it's her first crime or whatever, get this dropped down, get it off her record, whatever the case may be, and go work for the county. That's more obtainable. that's more achievable, you know. Um, but anyway, let's let's continue. I like to see her in a couple of years, though. I hope she comes back. If I'm still doing body cam videos, I would hope to see her back in a few years. Okay. >> Because you're a juvenile, but you ain't always going to be so lucky. >> Oh, she juvie. Oh, yeah. See, so like I said, she's she will be able to obtain something. I want to hear her talk about, you know, definitely like going to school, go to college or go in the military, right? Military is also a great option for young people. Great option for young people. You could get college, housing, everything. You know what I mean? Like what? Loans for houses and all all that. Y'all get all that military, you know? Something that's obtainable. Rapping. Come on. Like that's a fantasy >> especially if you going to keep doing it and you and you're adult. So be mindful of that. Like let this be a eye opener and just just stop at this point. >> After the arrest, Britney was charged with resisting an officer without violence. She was held on a $500 bond which she later posted. She initially entered a plea of not guilty but later changed her plea to no contest. She was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 6 months of probation along with $620 in court costs and fees. Just over a month into her probation, a violation affidavit was filed, alleging she failed to pay her supervision costs and committed a new law violation for aggravated assault. She ultimately paid her financial obligations in full and the misdemeanor case was officially closed. >> Yeah. You know, and I also I realize what I'm saying. It could be a Debbie Downer, you know, if if you have dreams and stuff like that, you know, like I I get it. I don't want to shoot nobody's dreams down, you know, but you do have to certain things got to be in in line for you to be able to go chase your dreams, you know? You can't be homeless trying to chase your dreams. Like, no. Like, you know what I mean? Um, but yeah. Uh, anyway, this video is done. goes by. >> Watching the reality hit the screen. >> The craziest moments that [music] you've ever seen. [music] Reaction >> captured full time.
