you know how much alcohol you have today um I drank a buzz ball a buzz ball okay how many buzz balls did you have okay what else did you have besides that that's it okay are you taking any medications are you taking any drugs when's the last time you smoked marijuana I don't you don't smoke marijuana at all okay when did you have the close ball okay about how long go oh my time is right now what time do you think it is right now I think it's like 2:00 p.m. okay so when did you have it 12 12 okay all right what's in the buzz ball oh it's it's almost 3 she is wasted she definitely going to jail so I don't I wasn't with you so I know up tequila tequila and real tequila and real okay all right so you did not hit cover Rider oh hold on man yo I got to hit you back bro so I'll explain all that to you okay but um what I'm going to have you do is just turn around and face the vehicle for me okay I'm going to take these PS off okay police identify the suspect as 23-year-old Claire mechum who admitted to drinking a buzzball did did you get in a crash or anything see she's thinking that maybe she got she she hit someone or something like that you know what I mean because she's being arrested but you don't need to hit somebody just to be arrested you know what I mean like you you're you almost caused the accident by stopping in the middle of the of the of the highway past out like come on just calm down can you put your hand on your head please there you go um possibly yeah yeah okay okay hold on hold on just hang over okay Claire you turn I he someone I hear some do you have a do you have a child do I have a kid yeah do you have a kid okay where's your kid right now my kids at my house your kids at your house where do you live police discover Claire has a 5-month-old child and one officer actively Works to make sure that baby is okay okay you're fine just relax okay feel like I killed someone real time is awesome I want tell someone who's with your child right now friend a friend yeah but the baby safe and yeah but I told her I was coming home all right that's all right we'll get you home eventually some like I said as far as we know we don't know if anybody's been injured or anything like that okay so you're you're okay dude she's bombed like she's completely bombed she thinks she actually killed someone she she and none of that even happened you know I don't think I heard someone you're okay just relax okay I just pH I know I understand Claire initially tells police her baby is with a friend let's see what she says after some field sobriety test hang on I'm just going to have you stand like that okay so left foot on the line then right foot in front of it and touch Heel To Toe okay and you'll stay in that position until I tell you to move okay do you understand yeah still yep are you able to stand like that for me na so hang on don't go anywhere I just need you to stand like that okay so left foot on the line right foot in front of it and touch Heel To Toe arms down by your side then you'll stay in that position until I tell you to move okay you understand okay when I tell you to you'll take nine Heel To Toe steps down there n yep nine heeler toe steps down the line with each step you'll make sure your heel touches your toe dude she's bombed dude she is she don't know what today is she she got her kid at the crib like come on like anybody having kids nowadays this is just crazy this is ridiculous you are a mom and you going to leave your kids home alone by themselves cuz this is what it's leading up to because the title says the mom left her baby home alone you know to drink with friends you know what I'm saying so eventually we're going to get there of eventually we're going to get there so man this is just ridiculous you'll watch your feet at all times count your steps out loud don't stop once you've started okay when you get to your ninth step you'll leave your lead foot online so the small steps to turn around then nine yep you'll count out loud nine he the toe steps back okay can I ask a question sure why are there so many cops they kill someone not that I'm aware of why are so many cops because you were on the city streets and then on the freeway and we've been trying to catch up to you okay so I'll explain that to you in a few minutes okay let me demonstrate with three steps for you okay you'll remain standing like that okay so go ahead and stand like that for me left foot on line and right foot in front of it okay arms down by your side okay so when I tell you to you'll take nine you know what just stop right there just stand right there okay I can do it I can do it no I'm just going to have you stand right there okay just relax however you'd like to stand is just fine okay so I'll just have you relax just stand right there okay however you'd like to stand is just fine you don't have to have your arms certain where or anything you can put them down by your side you're going arrest me right now um what I'm going to ask fre to do right now is I'm going to ask to go give me a brush sample are you willing to do that okay I don't know why cops just doesn't do that like they rather go through uh I don't know if it's protocol or something but they would rather go through the whole your you know stand walk in a straight line and you know the finger and all this other stuff I mean the first question that I would ask if I was a cop hey are you willing to give a breath sample and if they say yeah then we don't got to go through the whole the whole test I mean that thing takes forever you know what I mean so let's just get the breath sample put your in handcuffs and we G to wrap it up die why are you going to die why would you say that okay can I see my mom first um are you 20 are you 18 years old how old are you 22 okay so you're over 18 so I'm not we're not going to talk to your mom right now but you can give her a call in a little bit okay so put your lips around this straw and blow out for me keep blowing keep blowing okay thank you just stand right here don't go anywhere an arrest report shows Claire blew a 2 three nearly three times the legal limit for driving with the writing on the wall our suspect decides it's time to come clean oh one second I know you want to get back to the video but I have to cover this because it might protect you and save your life four items that I think every person needs is one pepper spray in case you're ubering or walking around at night you want some sort of line of defense a body cam police have body cams why can't we to record our interaction or if you're upand cominging YouTuber and you want to do your own First Amendment audits a dash cam if you're driving you want to record your accidents that happened on the outside of the vehicle or if you get stopped by the police you need something to record on the inside as well and everyone needs a pocket siiz mini version of the United States Constitution the link to all these items are linked in the description box down below now let's get back to the video I think it's going to blow something really bad hey tell TR okay so my baby has with him Claire you are under arrest you put by himself please go get my baby you just said your friend was with no no no please get my [Music] baby she lied the baby is not with a friend in the beginning she said that the baby was with a friend and now that she's knows she's drunk she's about to get locked up and now she finally comes clean to say that the baby is actually home alone that's insane people oh my God ah these parents are killing me please can I just call my mom please get him please get him please get him where is he please okay no no no I want my baby to have some with him I love him so much I don't even I don't even matter I I'm going to kill myself I hate myself why why are you going to kill yourself because my D I hate myself so much I'm not even meant to be alive I hate myself so much please Claire is cuff oh she about to head to the psych W man damn she about to get on that that Barney Rubble suit man dang and taken to jail where she was charged with DUI and child negligence police reports show that CLA told investigators she had been drinking at her home earlier in the day before leaving to go to a pool actually just put her please car okay can you uh shut for [Music] me the 23-year-old later pleaded guilty to the charges as for her baby officers rush to check on the child they on the off ramp clear I was talking I'm sorry I'm just trying to uh I'm assuming they would have the key right or unless they sent other officers to go hi this is Officer Bas at the Meson Police Department yes are you inside are you am yeah can you open the door is is crying and everything oh what I think we going wait 10 minutes I heard him that's good enough for me policeman manage to get a hold of someone through a ring doorbell but after hearing the baby crying officers decide not to wait and enter the home Mesa Police Mesa Police Department anybody in here hey ma'am we're we're going into the residence so just be aware we're going to be in we have a we have cops man the like he's that a this is the good stuff like thanks man I was overdue for some lunch DCF was contacted and the child was later released into Grandma's custody these young parents you know they're they're out there young whing out getting pregnant becoming parents don't know the severity of being a parent and the responsibility that it takes right because they've never been a parent right and um you cannot leave your child Home Alone to go drinking with your friends especially when you got Grandma who's 10 minutes away and you just irresponsible stupid you deserve to get whatever time that you get you're probably not going to get any time because you know females you know they typically you know we we don't want to get into all of that but she probably ain't gonna get much
