the right to drive on a public road
without a license but the calicop is not
having any of it

i just got pulled over last night
okay this is ladybird ladybird oh good

um
can i reach in my glove compartment to
get you the license plate
um
yeah uh we'll we'll get there um we'll
get there let me give you the license
plate first so you can run the license
plate make sure it's not stolen um i was
stopped last night by an officer just
just as i was going to my hotel um and
uh here's the um paperwork for getting
the license plate and that's the email
and you can see the date i got an
accident uh i guess it was yesterday
and my license plate fell off and i
never had a front one
come on dude i've been following your
traffic stops for a while now you'll
keep your license plate in your glove
box for one reason and one reason only
traffic stops and police interactions
excite you for some strange reason
i never had a front one yeah and uh
because the bumper changed a few years
ago but my other one i got an accident
last night um are you okay
yeah okay
uh no no it was in long beach and it was
just i just tapped the bumper okay um
so uh with the driver's license i'm not
driving i'm traveling so i'm not in that
capacity i'm more than happy i do have
the driver's license and i'll give it to
you um so you can check my identity
identity but we both have to agree i'm
traveling first or you can order me to
do it and you know of course i have to
follow it over
who i'm speaking to well um
as long as we agree that i'm traveling
just let me see your driver's license uh
was that a yes or no
i just need to see your driver's license
no i know but if we're traveling i can
give you my name i prefer to because i
prefer to give you my name if you want
because you're on a public highway right
so i know in a state of value you got to
have a driver's license i do i do right
there but i'm not i'm not driving yeah
no i don't mind at all as long as we
agree that i'm traveling is that a
driver at the moment i'm not i'm
traveling okay i'm not engaged in
commercial capacity so let me go ahead
and tell you my name and date of birth
it makes everything so much easier i
know but it's
it's it's about spelling it's about i
want to spell my name correctly and my
my name is misspelled on my rubric
your name is not misspelt it's just in
all caps which means absolutely nothing
here in reality i know you think
admitting to being the name on your
license means you're a corporation but
the fact that you have a license in the
first place kind of defeats that stupid
argument
but but if you have your driver's
license it'll be a lot easier as long
but i'm traveling so i do have my
driver's license it's actually right
here um
um he was just looking at it but um
yeah yeah yeah um let me just write down
my name and date of birth for you okay
you have that one
right there right
that one's expired i had i just got back
from walmart and i bought the beer so i
have a blue moon
and i got some water for the dogs but
yeah i have my driver's license this
one's the same information just expired
it's probably my pocket but i don't want
to read it okay
um driver's license is right here but
i'm not driving so i don't need a
driver's license i'm traveling i'm not
engaged in commercial use
here's here's the thing this is an all
caps name and i will i just want to give
you my name and not not all caps upper
and lower
and you don't have it as i'm traveling
but i i'm not an all cap's name i'm a
man are you a man yes great no man can
order another man to do anything so
you know if you order me i'll give you
the id or if we agree that we're
traveling or i can give you my name and
date of birth right that's what i'm
willing to do yeah i understand that
sort of play
i know it makes it easier
but all you got to do is say i'm
traveling that we agree to that then you
do know your word games on the side of
the road are completely worthless right
and by not handing over your license you
open yourself up to fairly to identify
charges
yeah so um because of that
it's in all caps name and i don't i'm
not in all caps name i'm a man and i'm
not engaged in commercial capacity so
i'm not going to give you the driver's
license if you need to id me
you can um run my name and date of birth
again i was pulled over last night it
was a five-minute stop i understand
because i gave him the paperwork and um
he agreed that we were traveling i
showed him my driver's license
so even if you did coerce that officer
into admitting you were traveling it
doesn't mean you were that's not how
this works
i know you're you're smart you're smart
and you're bad and i'm i am trying to
too but this is my belief system and
this is my constitutional rights which i
understand
so that that's all
that's all i'm trying to do i'm not
trying to be a dick
but uh i want i you know if if you have
to id me sir if you just hold it up like
this i won't take it from you i'll just
jot down your name stuff like that just
drop down my name spelled correctly with
a capital key and lowercase o and a
lowercase m and a lowercase and then a
lowercase y can i make sure that it's
valid at least at least yeah
okay can i just take down your driver's
license number then
no because i'm not driving
you can take my name and date of birth
or you we can you know like or you can
just order me to it and i'll send you a
bill but um but so those those are what
i want to do and that's just my belief
system that's just what i want i'm not
trying to be a dick or anything it's
just what it is and it's just what i
believe that we have rights that are
protected and secured by the united
states constitution and
your rights are protected by the
constitution just not in the way you
think and that's the problem here you've
taken a definition from an outdated law
dictionary then inputted your own
interpretation onto that word
this is why you're having so many
problems with law enforcement
so um
but i'm the registered owner it's not
it's not someone
and if you ever drive
down your guy i
i know you need the information but
we're on the record with my uh you know
i'll take the last name what is it
it's capital r
lowercase o
lowercase c
lowercase
k
and then lowercase s
rocks first name
uh uppercase t lowercase m higher lower
second uppercase t
lowercase o
lowercase m
say that one more time lowercase m m
lowercase m
m and a lowercase y yes
nine point eight eighty four nine twenty

and that was the california
and yes and now that you took it down
correctly and we're on the record with
me spelling it correctly i i feel
comfortable
um
take your time
i'm not in any rush i believe i'm
nothing they do not detain also
because my past two stops
have
been real quick and
you are not on a doughnut detail list
you keep being told this as well if you
were on some magical do not detain list
for soft sets it would be public record
and you i and anyone else would be able
to search for it or submit a freedom of
information request for
me rock give me a it all right
and do you have insurance tommy yes with
triple a i just got an accident and
if i could dig around i could probably
find
like in the back seat because i pretty
much checked the front it was on here
the last time i remembered and it was in
two pieces it's not this vehicle right

uh well i think it was rancho
santa margarita and they uh california
yeah california and then they drove it
to my house
but see i showed the officer that and he
was so thrilled that i took the time to
do that that you know he let me go
because i i like like i said i do have i
i got an accident you know um it just
happened and the vin is the same here's
the here's the here's the issue and and
if you want to get into the admissions i
mean you're gonna you're gonna find out
what you're gonna find out but uh it it
doesn't go anywhere
you know it's it's just a civil it's
just a civil thing but i can't register
my car
because there's an admissions recall
and i will not get
hotel
so i will not get the recall because
it's going to make my car run crappy
so
uh try to find your insurance for us
right back
yep i'm not looking in the back seat
well i say good luck with finding
anything in this car with the state it's
in
seriously you need to spend more time
cleaning and less time on your sausage
shenanigans
yeah you might roll up the window just a
tiny bit i don't know what you're going
to have to get hit by a car

a bad habit of cutting the video off
without a resolution
and i don't know if it's because he
doesn't want us to know he was arrested
or whether it's just incompetence on his
part
it's a toss-up as to which one it is to
be honest
