All right, did you know that if you use certain words on cops like this one, they'll advertise that they'll abuse their power and throw you into a cage? >> You talk to me like that and I'm going to go ahead and take you to jail. >> I need you to hang tight for a minute, partner, cuz you're going to love this spirit of 1776 all-American 73-year-old Betsy Ross grandma, cuz well, she speaks the only language modern-day redcoats can understand. >> I'm late for my doctor's appointment. >> Well, hurry up. >> Get back in the >> You're about stupid as hell. >> I'm going to [ __ ] you up. >> I know you don't give a [ __ ] about nothing. >> Now, admittedly, this grandma made a dangerous move in the middle of her lane and backed up on a hilly part and blind spot in the road that could have caused an accident. We've all made these mistakes in our cars and most of us are aware that we could have caused an accident. But, that is no reason for armed sovereign citizens to threaten and economically plunder us. When the female cop saw that grandma made this move, she activated her lights and pursued grandma, who didn't pull over cuz she's got more important things to do than to be harassed by some costumed psychopath. >> I'm late for my doctor's appointment. >> But, the pigtail piggy doesn't care. >> I don't care. >> What? >> Get in your car, please. >> Let's take a look at another protection and service roadside extortion operation and we'll make some comments along the way. >> Go and stay in your car. >> Huh? >> Go and stay in your car. I'm pulling you over. This is a traffic stop. I've been behind you since Kailua. >> I know. I'm late for my doctor's appointment. >> I don't care. >> What? >> Get in your car, please. Can you roll down your window, please? >> my doctor's a I'm Corporal Davis with the Sheriff's Office. The reason I'm pulling you over for improperly backing in the middle of the roadway. Any reason for that? Did you just miss your turn? >> I'm late for my doctor's appointment. >> Okay. That's no reason to drive the way that you're driving, right? You're going to cause an accident. Is it? And then, did you see my blue lights back there? >> Yeah, I did. >> You did, but you decided to continue? >> I know I had to come here. Do you mind driving out here? >> Be what? >> Did you mind driving out here? >> Do I mind driving out here? That doesn't make sense. >> Did you mind driving here? Following me. >> I was conducting a tra- I was attempting to conduct a traffic stop on you. >> I know. >> You got your So, you continued anyways. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You got your driver's license on you? >> Show me your papers. I need to see your papers. Put it the right into my system. I love it. >> You see blue lights, ma'am. You need to pull over. Okay. So, now you're going to be extremely late to your doctor's appointment. >> Instead >> I need to talk to your boss. >> For what reason? That you failed to yield to an emergency vehicle. >> Yeah. >> That's why you want to talk to my boss? Okay. No. Stay. >> It's like a predator playing with their food. >> So, I'm coming down along >> Oh, doing a little distracted driving, are we, Miss Corporal? >> Looking at campground. And she stopped in the middle of the road, backing up. At that dangerous hill right there at Kylo. >> It is dangerous. She could have caused an accident. It was a bad move on her part. Give her a warning and move on. >> She's She backs up good ways. Stops. Goes down Kylo, holes butt down Kylo. Turns right here on the Prominence. I've already got my blue my blue lights going. So, pulls on the Prominence. I'm right behind her. She knows I'm behind her. She just admitted it. And I go, "So, you didn't want to stop?" She goes, "No, I have a doctor's appointment." I was like, "So, you Exactly. Oh, yeah. So, she's going to get a couple tickets. I'm not going to take her to jail, but she's getting a couple tickets. >> She's going to get a couple tickets. I'm not going to take her to jail. What if she says words that you don't like, officer? What if she hurts your feelings? What if she damages your ego? Will you throw her into a cage then? >> So, instead of pulling over, and this could all been done. Ma'am, if you don't sit in your vehicle, I'm going to take you to jail. >> There's no reason for her to sit in her vehicle. She can stand outside of her vehicle. What's wrong with that? What harm does it do? This is all just about control. I've got to control somebody else's life. I've got to issue a command, and they must comply. Get in your vehicle. Step out of your vehicle for officer safety. Get back into your vehicle for officer safety. Pennsylvania versus Mims, ma'am. >> All right. >> 483 Please. Please stay in your vehicle. >> Well, hurry up. >> Get back inside of >> Okay. You talk to me like that and I'm going to go ahead and take you to jail. >> So, what's the law on that, officer? If you talk to me a certain way, I get to take you to jail. You just got done saying you're just going to write a couple citations and not take her to jail. Now you're going to take her to jail and the only thing that changed was she said words that you didn't like. Does that sound like justice to you? Is there a law that underpins that action? >> Stay in your car. >> Might as well just take her to jail. She's probably not even going to sign the ticket. >> That is so evil. Might as well just take this 73-year-old woman to jail. It's about as evil as you can get. >> The way that you sounded on the radio, I'm like, >> Well, she wouldn't stop it. She Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, she was hauling butt down uh Prominence right here. >> Ma'am, you can't leave. You cannot leave. >> Ma'am, if you leave, you're going to jail. >> Shut the [ __ ] up. >> You cannot leave. >> It's not wise to talk to a cop like that, but I totally get why she's doing it. Look at this officer's face. Look at this female cop. She's taking it so Oh my god, you just bruised my ego. I'm very [snorts] fragile. You just shattered my psychological foundation. I must take you to jail. >> Hi, I'm having health problems. >> I don't care. >> You don't care. >> No. >> I you don't give a [ __ ] about nothing. >> That's true. They don't give a F at all about you. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Ma'am, I don't want to do this with you. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Careful. >> I got to get into the doctor's office. >> I don't care. You should have thought about that before you got >> heart attack. You don't give a [ __ ] I know. >> This makes me cringe. Can you imagine handling a senior citizen like this? This lady's Can you imagine handling a 60-year-old like this? Let alone a 73-year-old woman. Probably has osteoporosis, very fragile bones, no muscle mass to help her defend herself, very weak. >> Oh my god, how rude. >> That's fine, ma'am. Talk to whoever you need to. >> I need that down in the office. >> Well, you're about to cause an accident. >> I know. I have my phone. >> You are about to. Stop. >> Look at Look Will you look at this? Look how thin this old lady's skin is right here. And they're just Man, you can easily tear her skin. The collagen is low at this stage in your life. There probably is a situation where her bones are very brittle. There's osteoporosis. You can easily hurt an older person in so many ways, and they are just treating her like she's a 25-year-old male in the prime of his life. >> Are you because you just earned yourself another charge. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> You just got yourself another charge by using more words. >> Hold on. Let me Let me double check. >> And of course, there's always the gang tattoos involved in this situation because it is a thin blue line gang. They're in the club. You're not in the club. You don't get preferential treatment. And like this female officer just said, she doesn't give a damn about you. >> You need to notify them. This male officer is just as bad as the female, helping her manhandle this old woman. >> We will get it. >> Where am I going? >> You're going to jail. >> You're about stupid as hell. I got to get to the doctor. >> You're about as stupid and evil as hell. >> I know you can't follow directions. You were going to get two simple citations. Sit down. >> Then why didn't you give them to her? >> Two simple citations. Now you're going to jail. What's your name? >> Corporal Davis. >> Huh? >> Corporal Davis. >> What's your first name? >> I'm not telling you that. >> And just to be clear, that's Corporal Davis with the Dawson County, Georgia Sheriff's Department Crime Suppression Unit. >> What's your name? Corporal Davis. >> Huh? >> Corporal Davis. >> What's your first name? >> I'm not telling you that. >> All righty. I'll wait till you get >> It's locked. You can come get it later. I'll follow you out to the jail. >> Okay. >> No, I threw it in I threw it in the purse. I was almost done, man. 42 Dawson, go ahead, Kason. >> So, 73-year-old spirit of 1776 Mary Betsy Ross was arrested and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer under Georgia law code section 40-6-395. They say it's because she continued to drive after the officer activated her emergency lights and directed her to pull over, which Mary admitted to. The prosecutor ended up entering nolle pros, so the state decided not to continue prosecuting the charge. Despite being arrested and charged, the case was ultimately dismissed without a conviction. And it's probably because the rough handling of a senior citizen would have resulted in a public relations nightmare for the Dawson County Sheriff's Office.
