God, you guys scared the [ __ ] out of me. It's all right. I'm here for it, too. >> I'm not a criminal, but I appreciate the crap out of you guys. >> This is embarrassing. >> I I can understand that. >> I'm I'm the [ __ ] helicopter maintenance officer for the Coast Guard station. >> Dude, when we're done with Prague, cuz I'm a like I'm a dude. I've ruled people, too. It's It's all good. We're there. The next time you hear a cop say, >> "Hey, I need you to step back, you're interfering with our investigation." >> I want you to think about this video right here because the only thing interfering with the investigation is the cop's own stupidity and incompetence. As a matter of fact, they're so stupid and incompetent, they couldn't find a Big Mac at McDonald's during the lunch rush. Just to give you the short version before we get into this, deputies from the Broward County Sheriff's Office conduct a felony stop on a reported stolen vehicle. This US Coast Guard officer, who you'll find out soon enough is just an absolute bootlicker, purchased a used Chevy truck at Dural Volkswagen. And apparently an employee at the dealership registered a different truck according to the VIN number and reported the purchased vehicle stolen. Now, I think it's important to keep in mind that this 27-year US Coast Guard officer is still a part of the Thin Blue Line, the federal thin blue line, but the thin blue line nonetheless. And this guy just can't keep his mouth shut during questioning. So, he purchased a used 2024 Chevy 1500 AT4X with 22,000 miles at Dural Volkswagen for, get this, $61,800. I think that's the real crime here. He put a down payment of $15,000 on June 21st, 2025. 9 days later on July 1st, 2025, Broward County deputies make the traffic stop with guns drawn. And this is where we pick up the action. >> I'm going to let you guys do this. >> Step out real quick, man. >> You ready? All right. Shut up so All right. Walk towards me. Walk towards me. >> Look at us. Look at us. >> Look at us. Look at us. Come here. Come here. >> You got it. You got it. >> Nobody open the car. >> Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. Come on. Come here. >> What is going on? >> Hey, what you got on your side? >> Hey, anybody else? driver side approach. Got it. Driver side. >> I got nothing on wherever you guys want. Yeah. >> Yeah. [Music] I'm so get your information first. >> Yeah. >> What's your first name? >> Shane. >> Oh, sh Hammy. >> Sh. [Music] Can you guys tell me what's going on? >> So, the lead detective is going to come over here and explain everything to you. Just give us a right here. Okay. [Music] >> You got it. Is that come back to us? >> Yeah. [Music] Allegedly, an employee at Dural Volkswagen registered a different 2024 Chevy truck in this man's name. This whole thing could have been completely and quickly alleviated with one phone call to the dealership and one phone call to the DMV. Do you think they did that? Absolutely not. [Music] Can I pop down? >> Yeah, I got [Music] you in the military. >> I am. I'm active duty coast guard. Yeah, I'm the maintenance officer for the Coast Guard Air. So, I'm I have no idea what's happening right now. >> I'm trying to get the main detective to come here. >> Yeah. What? I don't want to like jump the gun and explain everything to you or another detective going to do that. >> Explain everything to you. >> I don't want to jump the gun and explain everything to you. Even though we all jumped the gun and pointed our guns at you and jeopardized your life and now we've taken away your rights, but I don't want to explain anything to you. Why would I do that? [Music] It's a little loss right now. >> Yeah, he'll make he'll make more sense of what's going on. Like I wish I could just go and tell you, but I don't want to step on their toes. >> It's this cat and mouse game. I wish I could tell you, but I don't want to step on somebody else's toes. I don't want to spill the beans. You know what I mean? Tell the guy you stop. Why'd you stop him? Well, we got a report that your vehicle is stolen. And now we've run the tag and it's running back. It's coming back to us as a different truck. We can't figure it out, but we're not going to tell you. [Music] >> Right now, you're just detained pending an investigation. So, you're not arrested. >> They're going to come over here. They're going to talk to you. They're going to tell you everything that's going on. So, you can't understand cuz I know you're confused right now. >> Yeah. >> I'll come over here and they'll explain what you can see. >> Whatever you guys need. >> I can see you're confused, but I'm not going to do anything. I'm not going to lift a finger to lift the cloud of confusion. We got a lot of moving parts. And again, we're not going to spill the beans. And you're not arrested. You're just detained. Sure. I mean, they look like the same thing. And we've completely taken away all of your American rights to the point where you can't even travel freely, but you're not arrested. Okay. >> Just wish you guys would have said, I wish you guys would have my truck. I just got it. [Music] >> And they crashed into his truck to make the stop. And they didn't even have to do that. [Music] I just got the text message that my payment stuff just started. >> Yeah. >> 19. All right. What's that? Okay. All right. take back the office more than likely so you can talk to them there formally and they can explain later come here real quick before you or you're not being charged anything right now you're not under arrest for any crime right now you're just being investigated for something I'm so lost right now >> your right >> yeah you just had some money your phone and your wallet okay I'll leave the boat back in. >> You guys going to take my truck or how? I think my son got in. So, I don't have anybody to come get my truck. >> Okay. Uh, I don't know what's happened with the truck right now. Um, just get the detective. They're like I'm going to try. >> Yeah, I know. Um, step out one more time. I'm just going to search you since you're getting in my vehicle. I know they probably already did a good job, but I just want to double check. Thank you. >> You don't have another pair of shorts on like >> liner. Liner. >> Step out of the vehicle, sir. I get to put my hands on another man. Oh my god. Who wants to sign up for a job like that? These guys do. I'm just going to stick you. >> We can't conduct a proper investigation, but we can sure put our hands on you. >> Scared to death. >> You have to get that one too tight. >> Uh, no. All right. We definitely run into a bunch of people. We can tell there's going to be on the other side here. Okay. >> You have the keys to the truck. >> Um I think they're in my book bag. >> He says he thinks they're in the book bag. >> They're in my book bag. >> On the book bag. He says he thinks >> No, they're in the center console. >> Or the center console. could have already made that call to the dealership and haven't got on your safety first. Like I said, let's talk to you make a little bit more sense. Um trying to figure out all right, sir. Thank you. >> So they've taken him back to the station. He's in the room for questioning and they still haven't told him why he's under arrest. Is it honor? >> Yeah, it is. How are you? >> Sh. Nice to meet you. Shane. >> All righty. Uh, so listen. Um, there's a reason why we're here. All right. >> We just need to talk. >> Yeah, obviously. >> Couple questions. Uh, >> it's just a formality. We just got to ask you a couple questions. Um, essentially what we're about to do is a formality. You know, it's it's obviously regarding your rands. I'll read you. We will go through the process and basically depending on what your determination is, what you want to do, we can go from there. Okay. Um, so today is >> 1st, >> Tuesday, July the 1st. The time is 458. I'm Detective Pino ID 864. And in the room, I'm here with >> Sergeant Cause 446. >> Detective Vanc 19741. >> And I'm here with All righty. So, what's your uh Speak English, write English, understand English? Okay. >> Um, highest level of education. Uh, high school. >> High school. So, 12th grade? >> Yes. >> Any drugs or alcohol? >> No. >> Stop answering questions. These cops are not your friends. I know you think they are because you're also in the thin blue line gang as well with the Coast Guard and the federal level, but they are not your friends. They're looking for charges. They're looking for a conviction. They work with the prosecutor in the prison industrial complex. They just want to lock somebody up. They don't care about you. This guy's going to just blab like a song bird and and sign whatever document they put in front of him. It's just truly disgusting. But this is a learning experience for us all. Watch this unfold. >> Anything that might impede you from understanding what you're about? >> No. So, what I need you to do is I'm need you to uh read every line line to line out and then if you understand what you bring, just initial right next to you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and to have him with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer will be appointed for you before any questioning if you so desire. If you decide to answer questions until without a lawyer present, you still have the right to stop answering any time or until you tell them to me. >> Yes. >> Can you initial uh next to each line? [Music] So now the next thing I need you to read about is going to be this paragraph here. And then I need you to read this paragraph down here. Okay. >> Yes. >> I have read the statement of my rights and I understand what my rights are. I am willing to make a statement and answer questions. I do not want a lawyer at this time. I understand and know what I am doing. No promises or threats have been made to me and no pressure or coercion of any kind has been used against me. Next one. >> I have read the statement of my rights and I understand what my rights are. I will not make a statement or answer questions. >> Okay. So now you get to make the determination which one you want to pick. You can vote your rights or you can check on the box that says that you you wish to speak. >> I'll talk cuz I have no idea why over here. >> So then just check off the box. Then your name in print and then your signature on the same line. So you need a break on the next line and today's date is the 1st of July and the time is currently 5:01. All right. Um, so obviously we need to talk to you in reference to the incident for today. Okay. Um, it's going to I'm going to be honest with you, it's about your car. Okay. Um, what I want to know is how you got the car, when you got the car, by what means. Just give me the rundown. How everything started with you. >> This detective is a dick. And this guy should keep his mouth shut. Nothing he says could work in his favor. Let's see. And then I'm super nervous. So go. >> All right. Derel Volkswagen. >> Okay. >> Last Saturday. >> Last Saturday. Okay. You know what? I don't know what time. >> Um I think I finished around 2:00 p.m. >> Okay. Um, okay. And what happened there? >> I drove off, went to my girlfriend's house. >> Okay. Let's not fast forward too much. So, you went to do a Volkswagen with the intention >> Oh. to purchase a new vehicle. >> Okay. And then what happened after that? >> Um, showed up, they came out, I said, "Hey, I had that vehicle particular picked out. I called in the morning." >> Who did you speak with? Um, the first time I spoke with just a regular person, but then when I got there, Ali was my sales representative. >> Is that a nickname or is that his first? >> Uh, I think that's his full name. That's what his business card says. >> Okay. >> And then I also spoke with a general service manager. Uh, his first name is Chris and he's a friend of another a friend of mine's mom. >> Okay. >> Um, so Chris kind of helped work the deal. Um, test drove the truck was exactly what I wanted. Pulled back in. They looked over My son had a Ford Focus that I was trading in. >> Okay. >> Um, they looked over the Ford Focus. They did their numbers on trade in stuff. I didn't really want anything from the Focus. I think they came back with $1,500 for that. I was like, "Yep, I want the truck." >> Okay. >> Um, they were very quick on the deal. We agreed on a price. >> Any documents were given? >> Uh, yeah. >> You have you have the sales documents? >> Um, in my house? Yeah. >> At your house? >> Mhm. And the sales documents have the everything for >> everything. Yeah. Um it was actually really I would say easier because I hadn't bought a car in shoot 15 years. I drive an old Tacoma that my son now drives. I don't know if any of you guys are Tacoma fans, but I almost cried when I had your >> I can imagine. >> Um but yeah, it was super easy. Everything was online. I have a disc with like all the paperwork. >> Okay. So they gave you a disc. >> Yeah. Okay. >> It's like a USB thumb drive. Do you remember who exactly was the sales sales representative? I know you said Ali, but any other, you know, any nicknames or any uh last name, business card, anything? >> I have his business card. >> Yeah, I have his business card. >> Okay. So, then you did the documents for the purchase of the vehicle and then what happened after that? >> Um did the documents went to the um I call finance manager. >> Okay. >> One finance manager did all of our financing. Um had some issues transferring over some money that was kind of a pain. That's what I ended up having cuz I put $15,000 down. >> Okay. >> So, I transferred over like 5,000 on my American Express and then like 7,000 through USAA which was like my limit. >> Okay. Um, question for you. Sorry. The What was the sticker price on the car? >> Um 60 619. >> Was it brand new? >> Uh, it's used. >> Used how many miles? >> 22,000. >> Okay. >> I put like 400 on it, I think. >> Okay. >> Put that on there. You you drove me today to the uh to the Coast Guard bay and >> back to physical therapy. >> Okay. You're recovering from uh an ailment. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I hurt my back and lose. >> Oh, okay. Um All righty. So, the reason why that you're in this position. Okay. Um so, the vehicle was reported stolen out of uh the dealership. Okay. Um it's it could be a miscommunication on their end cuz it was Dorado Volkswagen that basically reported it as stolen. >> Yeah. >> Um >> were you given both sets of keys? >> Uh only one key. >> Only one key. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And did you ask for where the key? >> Yes, I did. And they said they couldn't find a second key. >> Okay. So, just to confirm on at Saturday at 2:00 p.m. approximately is when you went to go buy that truck. >> No, I got there at 9:00 in the morning. What time did you drive off? Uh, >> like 2 p.m. I can look back in my records and tell you exactly what time that was. >> What car did you have previous? >> Toyota um Ford Focus under your name. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And that tag, where'd you get the tag from? >> That tag, the tag that's on the truck was a tag that was on the car and they transferred the tag at the dealer. So, you got the tag from the dealer and they told you they were going to transfer the tag? >> Yeah, the registration's on the gold box. >> So, the tag that was on the truck today >> was on my Focus. >> Okay. So, it was previously on your car. >> Yeah. Registration. >> So, it's your tag. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Um, and it was on a Focus previously. >> Mhm. 2012 Ford Focus. >> Okay. >> Um, okay. Uh, as far as payments, did you you haven't paid the drug? You haven't paid for anything yet. >> So, I paid the 15,000 cash is paid for for my down payment. >> And I just got my notification today that um >> the it's on my phone. I can show you on the text message that my payments are getting ready to start. >> Okay. And as part of the purchase agreement, was there any documentation that you had to present after you drove the vehicle off the lot, like the next day or the week after? >> No. >> Nothing. So they they signed you already signed and the truck was yours. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, as a matter of fact, um because on Saturday we couldn't get the full transfer done, I called the finance manager back on >> what's his name? >> Tuesday. Um I don't have my phone. Um >> number um >> Frank is the service man. the the tag that you have on the truck now. That's the tag that was on the Focus. >> That was the tag that was on the Focus. >> Have you ever owned the Chevy? >> No. >> No. >> Um I mean a Blazer like when I was in high school. >> What kind? >> Why? [Music] >> But that's the tag that was on the focus the whole time since I've been in Florida. >> Okay. >> The Chevy was high school registered in South Carolina. >> So you've never owned a Chevrolet truck? No. >> What's your name? >> Your name? >> Shane. >> Shane. >> All right. So, the tag that was on your truck. All right. Comes back to a Chevy pickup. Okay. And the Chevy pickup's under your name. Should be that Chevy pickup or that GMC pickup. >> No. So the tag that's attached to the truck now >> when we run that tag it comes back to a Chevy pickup under your name. >> What? >> Yeah. >> So >> it never belonged to it never was never attached. Well I don't want to say it was never attached. >> Just looking up the um if you can if anything pertaining to the purchase of the vehicle just All right. Just to confirm you were there on Saturday at the dealership. Correct. like you are if we check the cameras. >> Hey, hang on. Let me get my day straight cuz here this full strength. >> Who is this? >> This is my friend uh Jason's mom, Tracy, >> who works at Subaru of uh Subaru Miami. Subaru North Miami. And I had her like run this stuff on the background. So, this is the Saturday that I bought the truck. I was texting with her Friday and Saturday cuz >> she's not the finance manager. >> She's not the finance. The finance manager's name is Frank. I don't have any texts with Frank. I called him, but I can. >> So, what's her role in this? >> Um, she was working at Subaru in North Miami and she's got access to like run the dealer pricing and stuff like that. >> So, she had all you'll see the screenshots from where she ran the price like the fair price comparison or whatnot in there. And then my text message that Chris was super helpful like I thought really bad. >> Any emails sent to you? >> No. >> At all? >> Not that I not that I know of. Not that I noticed. >> Even after you purchase a car, you got nothing from the dealership or anything like that? >> Who would it have came from? Or do you have >> the dealership? You want to buy Volkswagen? >> Maybe golf tournament. >> Have you logged into the bank statement? cuz he usually says like what kind of car you finance and stuff. >> Yeah. So, no, I just got that today. You guys want to log in for the first time? >> Yes. Let's see if uh what ends up coming up. >> Welcome to Driveway. Congratulations. This You can see this is today at 3 p.m. So, I was going into physical therapy when I got this. >> I was like, "Oh, cool. I got to register tonight." So, I'm going to try to set it up so that I pay twice a month cuz the payment's expensive on that thing. I can promise you guys I ain't trying to steal anything. I have no idea what happened, but it's not me trying to steal a truck. >> I I'm just going to ask a stupid question. You think somehow that tag was transferred or stolen somewhere? >> So, the only thing is I mean, even if it was uh you know transferred incorrectly, it it's still the fact that they were doing inventory and then we noticed that the trouble is missing. So, we're right now is everything that you're telling us is >> true. Um cuz we need to verify how method how. Uh >> and you bought the truck last week. >> Oh, what day? I've got >> I mean don't don't give me a specific day, but just more or less last week. >> Oh, it was a Saturday. Hang on. I pulled a text message back up from my last one. >> How much did they sell you the truck for? >> Um Oh, here's here's some more messages. This is from my uh my sales guy. >> That's the sales guy. >> Yeah, this is me leaving in the truck. >> Ali. >> Ali. >> Okay, >> that's from the dealer. Leave it in the truck. >> Yeah. >> Can we call him? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Can we call him? You mean you didn't call him before you drew your guns on me and put me in torture cuffs, threw me in the back of your vehicle, and kidnapped me? You haven't even placed a call to the dealership yet? What kind of Mickey Mouse investigation is that? >> Yeah, though. I think he's he's the old dude that works in there. He's been there like 20 years. God, you guys scare the [ __ ] out of me. Wake me up. It's all right, man. I'm here for it, too. >> I'm not a criminal, but I appreciate the crap out of you guys. >> I'm not a criminal, but I appreciate the heck out of you guys jeopardizing my life, treating me like a criminal, and kidnapping me. And then they leave him high and dry on the bro fist. This guy is an absolute thin blue line buffoon who also admits later on that he rolls people, too. Dude, when we're done, we'll brohug cuz I don't give a [ __ ] Like, I'm a dude. I've rolled people, too. It's It's all good. We're there. >> Did you catch what he said? Dude, when this is all done, we're going to broh hug. I've rolled people, too. In other words, I've infringed on American rights, too. I've hemmed people up, too. Don't worry. I get it. I know the drill, man. I'm part of this thing, too. I just so happen to be a victim of it right now, getting a little taste of my own medicine. But man, in my line of work, I do the same exact thing. These people are disgusting. >> Is this is this >> the tag on? >> That's when they put it on the dealers. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Hi, Shane. Real pleasure meeting you today. Thank you for your business. Best wishes and happy murdering Ali Dorado Volkswagen. >> Cool. >> And this was all right. Just so we get it straight. June 21st. So that's two Saturdays ago, right? >> Let me verify. >> Yeah. Saturday. Saturday before last. >> Yeah, two Saturdays. I think the truck has got low track on it, too. which is probably I thought you guys found me a bay light. >> Um >> yeah, so basically it's this is just a formality. At the end of the day, we don't know what we have until we investigate a little further. That's when we interview. >> Um you know, once we verify all the details, >> I there's nothing to hide in this one. I mean, clearly we're going through just going this is what I don't understand though is like the tag thing. That's I mean >> that's >> that's we we'll talk about that after. We just need to verify. >> Uh he's on the phone with the subject. >> Yeah. So there's a cortex and then there's a >> Okay. So it's so basically seems that they >> Okay. >> It sounds like they messed up. >> Yeah. They basically Is this your phone or his phone? >> That's his phone. And then if you swipe to the Carfax, it comes back to the 1500. >> Yeah, >> it is a 1500. Yeah, but it's like a diesel um like lower model >> cuz that's a AT4. This is coming back to >> That's an AT4X, man. >> My bad. My bad. >> So we can we can smile a little bit. >> No, no, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. At this point, >> please don't beat me up, man. >> No, no, no. Hopefully we didn't treat you too rough. >> I want to hug I want to hug when I'm done. We'll >> talk after some coffee. >> I got some advice after this. Um, >> yeah. Once he's done with it, he's actually talking to the sales rep once he comes back. >> Okay. >> I'll just tell you straight up. I mean, you're going to sue him. >> That's a big >> Let me see the the messages with the with the sales guy. You told me you showed us. >> Yeah. There's a conversation between you guys, >> correct? the home. Yeah. >> What the [ __ ] >> All right. You're for real, right? This is embarrassing. >> I I can understand that. >> I'm I'm the [ __ ] helicopter maintenance officer for the Coast Guard station. Like, you guys rolled me out of my physical therapy officer. I'd be like, "What the fuck?" I >> we treat all sort of vehicle. We don't know. >> Hey, dude. When we're done, we'll brag cuz I would [ __ ] like I'm a dude. I've ruled people, too. It's It's all good. We're there. I just was like, the only thing that I could think was something with the truck and I was sitting in the cell freezing my balls off. I'm like, this guy and then when they said dural, I was like, this is something with a truck. >> Yeah, we'll just verify the same as whatever this guy's saying. And then >> no, it's this is all good. Well, it's not going to be good for them. I did everything. I I'll give you guys whatever you want. But my fiance's dad is also the ex 20-year chief of police of all her. >> I got nothing to hide. >> That answers the the badge in the couple. >> Oh, yeah. I have your >> coin or badge. Yeah, I have it there. I was like, just in case. >> Yeah. >> Your stuff. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know how you guys want to work it cuz of your your backpack or rug sack, whatever's in the back. I left it all there. Like we really don't truck still is the truck still there? >> Well, we told it. So I I could give him a call >> if you want to go over there and be like, "Hey, listen. He just needs to get his stuff like and I'll explain the situation." >> Ask us how long is my truck going to be gone. >> I mean, depending on once we clarify everything and clarify everything, it's it'll you might be able to get it back uh pretty soon. supposed to be taking it to Marta Jackson while my girlfriend's my fiance's house, >> huh? >> At least you have a story for her. >> Yeah. No, for sure. I mean, I just want the truck back at this point. >> Oh, I love that truck accident. >> I would to you guys my bumper when you hit me. >> No, not that I know. >> That was only That was like the first thing I noticed. I'm like I wanted to get mad and then I was like, "Oh crap, it's the lights." So >> yeah, I got there after the fact. >> Totally unrelated story and just kind of crazy. I've got a friend in North Carolina. This is [ __ ] up cuz it is what it is. Got rolled on child like three weeks ago, dude. And we commissioned it like the same time. So you guys are spot on, man. and you like you never know who you're >> we have our tactics and the way we handle stuff like >> Yeah, you guys were very professional. I appreciate you. >> Thank you. >> I'm I'm Yeah, it's not you guys at all. This is whatever they did. Can I answer this? >> No. >> Yeah. Can you just wait for us to finish and then >> All right. Yeah. >> She would get kicked out cuz my fiance was also a cop. >> Yeah. You could call her after. >> Just for the sake of the interview, everything's being recorded. Privacy sake. >> Don't forget everything's being recorded. We really got to watch what we say. These people are scum. For the remaining 10 minutes of this video, this guy is just shooting the breeze with this thin blue line buddies. And like I said, it's truly disgusting.
