Today we have a video from Real Body Cams and the title of the video is Florida woman calls 911 for help then talks her way into jail. >> On April 12th, 2026, [music] deputies in Florida respond to a residence. A woman called 911 after an argument with a housemate turned physical. Here's what the deputies did next. When Deputy Savage arrives, he finds the 911 caller, Lashonda, standing in the front yard. She's highly agitated and as she explains her side of the story, she quickly admits to initiating physical contact. >> They don't all need to be here if they're only going to be here to stand and shake their heads or say stupid [ __ ] to me because I can do that, too. I can put on a uniform and say stupid [ __ ] to people to just make them pop off if that's what's needed. >> All right. What happened? >> Last night when we left when we came in the house, the car locked and I said, "You're going to have to get my keys out of the car." Like you sat there and did something and the car locked. He said, "I can get the keys out of the car in the morning." So then this morning, I wake up and I said, "Hey, get the keys out of the car." He says, "You can call the insurance." I said, "You can't call the insurance. The insurance stuff is in the car." I So I said, "You need to get the keys out of the car or call the locksmith." He jumps up and he starts hollering and yelling and I'm of course going to SCREAM AND HOLLER BACK BECAUSE I'M JUST a loud person and everybody knows that. So I screamed and hollered for a second and then You want to be known for just being the loud person. I don't think that's necessarily a good thing. And then also, you should be able to still be able to call the insurance company even if you don't have the paper cuz when you call the insurance company, they're going to ask you other information that probably you would be only able to answer and they'll be able to access your policy. So that doesn't really make sense. I've locked my keys in the in in the car before, so you know, it is what it is. You think you're the only person to lock your keys in the vehicle and can't access your insurance cards and stuff. >> I was like, "You know what? [ __ ] this." I went in the house and I locked all the doors all the way around. He yanked this door back open. And when he yanked it open, I pushed him back out of my room and he knocked me down onto the tile floor. When he comes out here, I reached like this to grab something from him and he says, "That's what you get, you stupid you you're stupid you always" And I'm not always doing anything. I don't always lock my keys in my car. He did that. >> Okay. Cross yet? >> I don't know. >> So, he came inside, you pushed him back out. >> Yes. >> All right. Then you guys came outside, arguing arguing, you tried to grab something, he pushed you to the ground. >> Yes. >> All right. Will you fill out an affidavit? >> No, I will not. I just want him to stop being stupid. Like that's stupid. He doing stupid >> And you're not willing to write it on a piece of paper, correct? >> No, cuz don't nobody want to press charges on him so he could be like, "It's your fault that I don't have anything." Like, no. >> I would like to talk to him if he come back. >> He hung up on me. >> Can you call him back? >> Why would you call the police if you don't want to press charges? You're wasting these people's time. >> He's not going to answer. He's just going to keep doing the same game. Please leave your message for Can you just give me a cigarette? Like Oh my god, it's like >> I don't have a cigarette. >> Can you open my car so I can just have a cigarette? >> All right, he's not answering. >> Until he does, go and do stupid [ __ ] like this. He'll go and disappear and say, "I guess it's my fault." >> Out of sheer frustration, she actually demands to be taken to jail. >> Take me to jail. >> Well, I would like to talk to him. >> Cuz he was standing here, he could hear that I've told the whole truth. I put I told you I pushed him and then he knocked me down. Please leave your message Can you please just open the car so I can have a cigarette? Okay, I'm getting ready to get in the other car and drive off if you can't hear me. I need a cigarette. >> You're not free to leave. >> Well, can you open my car so I can have a cigarette? >> No. >> I I'm going to leave, too, then. He can leave, I can leave. >> Well, then I'm going to put you in cuffs. >> I need a cigarette. I want a cigarette. >> So, this is how this is going to work. I'm not obligated to open your car. >> I don't I don't care. I just want a cigarette. >> Lashonda is officially detained after admitting to domestic battery, yet she is angrily demanding the officers use their lockout kit to get her a cigarette before she will comply. >> Well, you're not getting it right now. >> Well, I'm being held for something for nothing really. This is stupid to constantly be told that I'm doing something or constantly then now you're standing here making me constantly cuz I just want a cigarette. >> Okay, well I'm not obligated to open your car right now. >> And I'm not obligated to have to stand here. I haven't done anything. I CALLED FOR HELP. >> You just told me you pushed him. >> Whatever. >> Because you opened his door. >> No, he didn't open his door. He opened my door and he locked the keys in the car. >> Okay. How often does he stay here? >> I don't know. Like >> Lashonda explains that the victim lives in the same home, but she didn't want him inside. >> So >> But the officer informs her the man has a right to enter his own residence. >> Okay. >> No, he cannot. If I If he If the locks are on the door, you cannot do that. You can't break a door more than what it's already broken. That's so stupid to say. >> All right. Well, you cannot go anywhere. >> Officer Howard, can you please just help me have a cigarette so I don't have to have anything to say back then? >> I do have a piece of candy. >> I don't want that. I need a cigarette. >> I don't have a cigarette on me. >> He's just sitting here with me just to bother me. I just need a cigarette so then I won't have anything to say to the officer to make me do something and me be doing something wrong. >> Lashonda seems to have shifted from blaming the victim for her actions to blaming the police. >> Okay, so just leave me alone then. If y'all can't help me open the car, just leave me alone. >> Well, I can't do that cuz you >> called the police instead of calling one, your insurance company, or two, a locksmith. >> told me that you pushed him. Try and call him. >> You I gave you his number. He's not >> I'm sorry. It goes straight to voicemail. Why is it right now I only have your side of the story and you told me you pushed him. >> Okay, Officer Howard, I didn't push him. I pushed the door open. I pushed the door There's towels on my door, so I pushed the door back closed. There's towels at the top of the door. >> Lashonda seems to think changing her story and telling it to an officer she hasn't been screaming directly at might change the fact she's already loudly admitted to assaulting the victim a number of times. When he finally picks up Lashonda's call, the officer is able to ask him what happened. >> He wants you to answer the phone because as of right now, they can't leave me alone because I told them the truth that I pushed you as you're pushing into my room. >> I didn't do anything. >> Hey, it's Deputy Savage with the Sheriff's Office. You're not in any trouble, man. She told me that she pushed you, okay? I just need to talk to you so that I can figure out what happened because as of right now, I only have first eye of the story. >> I just got out of there because once you get like that, I just leave, man. All I wanted to do All I needed was to go in there to get my phone, but when I tried to go in there to get my phone, like >> It's not my fault. >> pushed through the door to get my phone. >> I didn't push >> And she came to get my phone, she was rushing rushing me and starting to push me and fighting me and all kind of stuff. Now, all I did was grab my phone and she was falling and doing all that herself. I didn't rush at her. I didn't go towards her. All I did was try to get my phone and leave out. When I left out of the door, >> No, I >> I closed the door behind me, she pushed the door back open and she tried to rush me and try to take my phone out of my pocket. So, when I knocked my phone on the floor on the ground, I grabbed my phone >> That is not true. >> and then you tripped over that scooter that you see right there, hit her head. >> You hit your head? Are you You said you tripped. >> He's lying. He did not hit his head. >> When the officer mishears the victim, Lashonda angrily contradicts her own story that she was pushed to the ground in order to call him a liar. >> And then after that, I just left. >> Oh, she tripped is what you said? >> Yeah, she tripped over a scooter that And I I I got my phone and I just I got out of there. >> Got you. The victim confirms that Lashonda rushed him, pushed him, and bit him. Legally speaking, that establishes probable cause for a domestic battery arrest. >> I woke him up and I was like, "Hey, you got to open the car." >> When the officer returns, LaShonda asks him for her cell, not realizing she's about to be on her way to one. >> Yeah, my phone? >> Yeah, but turn around. >> I'm not Officer, I will turn around. I'm not. >> You are. You are. >> No. >> Oh, yeah. Let's go. Game time. Stop. >> I am not. THAT'S NOT FAIR. NO. >> RELAX. >> NO. Let go. >> Better relax. Act right. >> No, don't touch me. >> Mhm, got her together. Woo. >> Don't do that. Get off of me. >> Give me your hand. >> I cannot. You're on my leg. Can you please get off my leg? >> Give me your hand. >> You're hurting me. >> Give me your hand. >> You're hurting me. >> Give me your hand. >> Get off of me. >> No, give me your hand. >> Stop. YOU'RE HURTING ME. STOP. LET ME GET THE [ __ ] DIRT OFF OF ME. >> NOPE. It's too late for that. Nope. You're going to get arrested, LaShonda. >> I'm not resisting. >> Yeah, she is. >> You're hurting me. Stop. >> And if you kick me, you're going to get hurt. >> You're hurting me. You're on my ankle. That's swollen, clearly. There's a bracelet that it See, it's a bracelet off. That hurts. Can you take this off? >> Fine. >> Ow. >> WELL, IF YOU QUIT. >> NO, YOU QUIT. YOU'RE NOT HEARING ME. >> Roll towards me. >> No. Take this off. You're an idiot. I told THEM THE TRUTH. I SAID I PUT >> Although the audio here is muted, LaShonda's defense against her arrest is to loudly confess the exact details of her crimes for everybody, including the police, to hear. WHY? >> WHY? CUZ YOU'RE YOU'RE LYING. I HAVE TO GIVE ME MY PHONE. He won't give me my phone. >> Why? >> I have to give me MY [ __ ] PHONE. >> WHY? >> Y'ALL THEY THEY'RE STUPID. You're going to lose your cell. I will think you're going to make up cuz you're with them. >> Stop. >> You stop. Can you please take this off of me? >> NO. >> OW. >> I'M TRYING TO LEAN AGAINST THE CAR. >> A BRA OR ANYTHING ON. >> OKAY, now I don't know that. >> You did know that. You can see my DAMN HAIR. YOU STOP. GET THE CAR OFF OF ME. You're pulling my PANTS DOWN. >> STOP. If you hurt ONE OF US >> MY PANTS DOWN. >> IT'S NOT going to go well. >> I don't give a [ __ ] Get off of me. >> Get in the car. >> STOP. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAG ANYBODY AROUND. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAG ME AROUND. >> GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME. GET in the car and walk. >> I'M GETTING WHEN I'M DONE. IF YOU TOUCH ME, I'M GOING to kick her. Let's go Amelia. >> Why are you mad at this girl TODAY? >> BECAUSE I JUST MET HER. I'M not kicking her. So, you can lie if you want to. >> Move your leg or I'm breaking it. >> If you break my leg, I'M GOING TO CHARGE YOU. >> Go ahead. >> You you stupid piece of [ __ ] That's [ __ ] YOU KNOW THAT. DO NOT TALK INTO ME. THAT'S [ __ ] I AM IN CHARGE. >> [screaming] >> YOU DIDN'T ASK ME IF I NEED TO GO TO EMS. MY HEAD WAS BUSTED ON CEMENT AND TILE. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. WHEN YOU CAME UP, THERE WAS DIRT DOWN MY BACK. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME. >> WHO THE HELL WOULD want to put up with her, man? Oh my goodness. Ah, she's a loud and annoying and obnoxious. Oh boy. Oh boy. I feel bad for that brother right there, man. I don't know what it is that he's seeing her, you know, but more power to him, but she seems aggressive. She's a loud, angry, annoying, you know, it's just Now, the one thing I can say she's honest. Because she could have easily lied initially and twisted that story and said, you know, he hit me and I fell and you know, he hit me in the head and you know, stuff like that. And we know cases like that where you know, that's not really the story, but she's the one that called and you know, it is what it is, right? But she was honest and she said that she pushed him first, you know, so I got to commend her on that. Cuz she could have got him hemmed up, man, for real, for real. >> YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. >> IN THE CAR. >> GIVE ME MY PHONE. I need to unlock it. >> You want me to bring them all over here? >> SHE CAN'T WALK. SHE'S GOT NO FEET. CAN YOU PLEASE JUST LET ME do the phone? TAKE THE PASSWORD OFF SO SHE CAN OPEN IT. >> NO. You don't get a phone call until you get >> I'm not asking you for a phone CALL. I SAID TAKE THE PASSWORD OFF SO SHE CAN OPEN IT. >> HOW DO I do that? >> I have to touch you, you [ __ ] idiot. >> Well, if you keep talking to me like that, I'm just going to >> Well, WHY ARE YOU SITTING LOOKING AT ME LIKE YOU'RE CONFUSED? IF YOU'RE CONFUSED AS A DAMN CHILD, YOU SHOULDN'T BE WEARING A BADGE. IF I CAN'T USE MY HAND, HOW AM I GOING TO OPEN THE PHONE? >> I DON'T KNOW. How are you? >> Get the [ __ ] out of my >> Move your leg. >> GET THE [ __ ] OUT OF MY [ __ ] FACE. >> MOVE YOUR LEG. >> YOU [ __ ] IDIOT. YOU LOOK LIKE A [ __ ] IDIOT. YOU LOOK LIKE A [ __ ] CHILD, [ __ ] >> Now that she's in handcuffs, Lashonda's demeanor shifts from uncooperative to completely belligerent. She threatens to sue the department despite having just confessed to battery on camera. >> Yes, but after our people. I ASKED FOR A EMAIL. ON THE PHONE, THEY ASKED ME THAT, AND YOU DIDN'T ASK ME [ __ ] NOR DID THEY COME. >> IF YOU asked on the phone, they would have been here. >> THEY I DID ASK ON THE PHONE. I WANTED A EMAIL. I WAS PUSHED AND SHOVED OFF MY [ __ ] HEAD. WAIT. I HIT MY HEAD ON CEMENT AND CONCRETE, and that scooter that's in there. >> Okay. >> Can you please turn the air on? >> What? Your head's HURTING YOU? >> YES, I NEED THE AIR ON. I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO YOU OTHER THAN EVERYTHING THAT YOU ASKED ME TO DO. TURN ON THE [ __ ] AIR ON. ALL RIGHT. THIS TIME I'M GOING TO SUE FOR YOU AND ALL OF >> NO, she's not cooperating. >> Next time I'll get a lawyer because THIS TIME IT'S [ __ ] WAR. I should have went on and let y'all tase me again, and I would have really had it again. But you can go ahead and make the wrong call. You piece of [ __ ] I I tried to go back in. You can't go anywhere. Now you're putting your hands on You are full of [ __ ] DO YOU HAVE KIDS, MOTHER DO you want right done by your kids or family? I pushed him to get him out. I PUSHED HIM OFF of me. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD YOU. I PUSHED HIM OFF OF ME. TAKE ME TO jail so I can get done. >> I thought you wanted EMS. >> I do, but they could do it there. I AM HOT. This is not comfortable. Get me where I need to go to. >> Nope, I'm waiting on the ambulance. >> And then I'm not getting back in the car with you. I will request somebody else. >> Okay. Whatever you say. Look, fire truck's here. She told me, "I'm not getting back in your car when I get out." >> Yeah, she's going to go She's going to go EMS. >> Lashandra is just as defiant and angry with EMS as she was with the police. Eventually, she lets them transport her to the hospital, but when she gets there, she won't cooperate with medical staff who then release her back into police custody. She continues berating the officer on route to booking. >> Are you listening to me? >> I am, but I'm I'm not going to speak to you anymore. >> So why Why can't you answer me? Why am I going TO JAIL FOR I'M ARGUING I CALLED AND NOW I'M ARRESTED. >> Calling 911 doesn't save you from going to jail. >> I told you what I did. I pushed IT TO PROTECT MYSELF. I guess it was just easier for you to jump on my back instead of looking AT I ASKED TO GO to the hospital. So what the [ __ ] WAS THE PURPOSE of it? >> You asked to go there. >> Then they made you tell me that they don't have to do anything for me. So what was the purpose? Y'all You did not write the Guys, you could have had You could have let me go back in MY HOUSE. CIGARETTE. >> DON'T DO THAT. STOP. >> ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A >> IF YOU BREAK >> ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A >> STOP. >> ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A CIGARETTE. >> WELL, YOU'RE NOT GETTING ONE. STOP. >> LISTEN, if if not having a cigarette makes you act like that, you need to get off them cigarettes, man, cuz that that's not a good look. You are feint out, man. Let me get a cigarette. Feinted out, man. Feinted out. You need a detox, man. Damn. >> I ASKED FOR A CIGARETTE AND CALLED FOR HELP, AND THIS IS WHAT I GET. >> IF YOU SPIT ON ME >> I DIDN'T SPIT on you. >> Well, you just spit. >> I didn't spit ON YOU, SO STOP LYING. I DIDN'T SPIT ON YOU. YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND MAKE it another charge. I'M GOING TO MAKE IT ANOTHER CHARGE, CUZ THAT'S WHAT I CAN DO. I CAN SIT AND [ __ ] PEOPLE, AND ADD CHARGE AFTER I CHARGE AFTER I CHARGE AFTER I JUST CALLED THE [ __ ] HELP. YOU CAN STILL HEAR ME. >> I KNOW I CAN'T, BUT YOU CAN'T spit on me anymore. >> I DIDN'T SPIT ON YOU THE FIRST >> I DIDN'T SAY YOU DID. >> YES, YOU DID. If you're saying you can't spit on me anymore, that means that it's happened prior. Everybody >> You did just spit. It's right there on my partition. >> spit on you. How am I being arrested because I pushed you? I'm asking you a question, so I know the proper law that this this situation arose. You can't explain to me the proper the proper law, and you here you are with me in handcuffs, RUINING MY [ __ ] LIFE OVER A [ __ ] CALL THAT HELPED ME. I WAS THE CALLER. I WAS THE ONE in need of help. >> I already told you calling 911 doesn't save you from going to jail. >> When the updates to Lashonda's story don't get her out of her legal troubles, she makes a very graphic threat against the victim. >> I promise you the next call that you have to go to my house is going to be the Okay? I'm going to kill him. I'm going to chop him up into pieces, and then you can come get me. >> Well, I never worked that area, so I probably never seen you again. >> Can you hurry up, so that somebody can give me some Tylenol or something for my >> Well, if you quit screaming, it'll probably help. >> I'm not screaming. I'm talking, [ __ ] That's [ __ ] You only do that because you have income from your person. >> 671. Have you been here before? >> You know damn well I have been. >> What? Just asking, cuz jail staff's going to ask. >> Due to her violently kicking during arrest and transport, Lashonda will be heavily restrained as she's brought into booking. Before he leaves, the officer briefs jail staff on what police have been dealing with. >> What was the call? So, we had to fight her to the ground. She was complaining there was a knot on her head, but she kept refusing medical care at the hospital. So, the hospital was like, "Well, then you don't get a video here." So, they sent it to booking and they said >> Awesome. >> Perfect situation. >> Yep. >> After the arrest, she was charged with simple battery, resisting an officer without violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and threats to a law enforcement officer. She was held on a $4,000 bond, which she later posted. She initially entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. The court later granted a defense motion modifying her bond conditions to allow non-violent contact with the victim. At this time, her court case is still open. >> [music] >> Man, he need to Man, he need to go ahead and get rid of her. I ain't going to lie to you, man. Go Go ahead. Go ahead. Get rid of her cuz she is not She is not what we need right now. Like, she is not She's not the one for you, my guy. Not the one. Let me see. Let me see here. There we go. There I go. Let's see here. I don't know why this is kind of messed up here a little bit, but whatever. We're going to figure it out. All right. Anyways, Yeah, so we got Jailhouse Accountability Scorecard. Um The closer you are to zero, the better you did. The closer you are to 10, the worse you did. All right. So, we got six categories here. Um Shoot. Man. Let me see here. Still trying to get it right. All right, there we go. We got a six categories here. Compliance, attitude, self-control, truthfulness, safety risk, and wasted chances, okay? Compliance, 10 out of 10. She refused to stay put, refused to turn around, refused to be cuffed, and fought the process the whole way, man. Crashing out, man. Attitude, the insults, yelling, name-calling, and entitlement made everything worse from the front yard to booking. So, 10 out of 10. Another 10 out of 10, self-control. She cannot regulate herself at any stage. Cigarette demands, screaming, um resisting, threats, and you know, so and everything. Um truthfulness, eight out of 10, okay? First, she admitted to pushing him, then tried to soften it by uh by tried to soften it into pushing the door, then contradicted parts of her own story, okay? So, pretty much she started off telling the truth. And then, once she realized she was going to jail, now she kind of oh, well, I did this and then that and this happened and I called for help and this and that, you know, so. Eight out of 10, like I said, I do commend her for at least upfront saying that she hit him first or whatever, but then we see obviously throughout the the video, a lot of things started to change, okay? Um anyway, so safety risk, 10 out of 10. Pulling away, kicking, possible spitting, resisting, and and threats to and chop up uh you know, victim, you know. Safety risk, okay? Safety risk, that's all I got to say, 10 out of 10, man. Wasted chances another 10-out-of-10. Um she had chances to explain, calm down, cooperate, uh get medical help, and stop talking herself into more trouble. And uh yes. We seen what happened. So, 10-out-of-10. Um final jail score, 58 out of 60. Converted score, 9.7 out of 10. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below, and I'mma catch you in the next video. >> [music]
