On today's body cam, we're checking out when a woman makes a run for it when police discover her warrant. >> On July 4th, 2025, an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding after clocking the driver traveling 42 mph in a 25 mph zone. During the stop, the officer also noticed an open container of beer inside the vehicle and discovered that one of the passengers had an active burglary warrant. >> Mhm. >> Hey, how you doing? >> Good. At this moment, I wonder what goes through people's head. Do they really think that they're going to run and get away for the rest of their life, right? You got to think about this. When you run, you have to be prepared to live on the run for the rest of your life. I was just watching the Matthew Cox story. Um the guy who stole, you know, who's doing a crazy amount of fraud and everything like whatever, right? And he went on the run for like 3 and 1/2 years or whatever, stealing millions. And pretty much his downfall was a woman that he was dating. She ended up She knew his real name. Um and she told a friend and the friend turned him in. And that's how he ended up getting, you know, the lady. He It's It's a man's weakness. You know what I'm saying? Like but anyways, um you know, not to glorify that or whatever, but he had a plan and was able to get money, millions of dollars, traveling in and out of the country, whatever, right? Cuz he was on different people's passports and everything. So, he was prepared to live out his life of crime. You know what I mean? So, as you're breaking free right now, do you think you have the capabilities to never talk to your family again, to never see your daughter again, and to live on the run? Because that's who the cops is going to be watching. They're not They're going to let you slide, but they're going to watch your loved ones. When you pick up that phone and you want to check in on your daughter and check in on your parents, oh yeah. So, I don't know why people run, man, because you're going to get caught.
