Stay off your phone for me, all right? >> With 18-year-old Breanna Beresini now identified, officers are left trying to understand one thing. How did things escalate to this point? >> I was standing right there. >> You were standing right there? All right. Is that Is that your >> That's her sister. >> Okay. All right, come on. Man, I don't even know where the [ __ ] she got stabbed at, bro. >> Oh, no, bro. It was beefing at South Square. Get it out of her way, bro. Crunch her ass to get it out of HER WAY, HALIA. >> WHAT HAPPENED? >> GET HER OUT OF THE DECK. Hold up. >> You. >> Hey, GET OFF MY SISTER, BRO. GET OFF. GET OFF MY SISTER. Curl up. >> What's up? >> You better get your girl before she get [ __ ] up even more. >> Oh, her. Oh, her. >> Just her ass. >> The girl in the orange is the one who >> The girl in the orange is the one who got cut. >> She said it was all the way up here by the >> Right here, let me have your phone. All right, here. I got to have you sit Sit right here, babe. Hey. Taylor. I need you to just hang out in here, okay? How do I turn this off so your battery doesn't go dead or anything? >> Oh, man. I'm not worried about a battery. I got a charger, bro. >> I know, but I want it to be I don't want it to be dead when the like detectives get here so they can check it out. >> And just like that, officers now have video of what just happened. But even with that footage, there are still parts of this that don't add up. So, officers begin searching the area looking for the weapon. >> So, I want to make sure I get the whole scene. >> Wherever there's blood is right where it happened. >> Okay. >> Because she started spurting. It had to have been >> Uh it was all the way up here by this That's where she was laying. It was all the way up here. There's a vape pen. >> Hey, take it out a lot wider, guys. >> All right. >> Um hold on. It happened >> It happened right here. >> Yeah, but that guy, whoever is that guy that's yelling in the video, too. I mean, he he got to be charged with something, too, cuz he is instigating man. It's not like he trying to break it up. The guy should have been I know guys don't like to really get into the drama with the you know, if the girls is fighting and stuff like that, but should have kind of tried to break it up, you know what I mean? Like at least. Yeah, I don't know. >> Yep, this is it. So, we need to go >> Now, do we go all the way back to that one? >> Yeah, cuz they kind of started over here. They were kind of mouthing and >> And they started swinging at each other. >> Hey Morgan, take yours out to that one over there. >> All right. Anybody call who was first? >> But the search turns up very [music] little aside from blood on the ground and scattered belongings left behind at the scene. For that, they return to the one person who saw it all unfold. >> Oh my god, I didn't know my little sister she was bleeding out and I didn't even know that she was bleeding out till Kenzie came up to me. >> How old was I your sister? >> She's like 18 19. >> How old was that Bree girl? >> I think she's she's still a minor I'm pretty sure bro like >> Was she? >> Yeah, I don't even think she's 18. >> Where did it all start over? >> So all right, so Kenzie Kenzie's baby dad is Bree's older brother. Right. >> Who's Kenzie? >> The one in the back >> Oh, right here. >> Yeah, the blonde the blonde >> Okay, that okay. >> Paul, right. >> So her brother >> Her baby dad is her brother and her baby dad >> Okay. Kenzie's baby dad? >> Yes, Kenzie's baby dad. >> Okay, so the girl here she has a baby dad and then >> dad is Bree's older brother. >> Older brother, got it and they're >> they've had beef for the The child's going on 4 years old so they've had beef for almost 5 years type [ __ ] You know what I'm saying like It's crazy I should >> Beef like domestic violence or what? >> Yeah, like if you were to look up to Noa County and the Kenzie Adrian like it there's a case upon case upon like me personally I've pulled up the fight the baby dad because he would not leave like like I look at like Kenzie's mother adopted me like not legally but my mom kicked me out from the ages of 14 to 17 and Kenzie's family took me the [ __ ] in. >> Okay. >> So I'm very protective over Kenzie and whoever Kenzie affiliates with. >> Hey, check on the female on 12. Make sure she's okay. >> Please. But, like that's my little sister and I've I've always been protective over her and Bree Barzini she she the girl who did this she just always runs. She just sits there and she talks She talks [ __ ] And I saw the I saw the knife [ __ ] drop, but I didn't think it got used, bro. >> Where's the knife at? >> It was They picked up Man, they they got video. They the people who did it it was it was Bree Barzini and I want to say he's Arabic, but I don't want to be racist and be wrong. >> That's fine. >> But, like he looked Arabic. He had two moles on his face. I got I got both of their faces on video. Like no cap. It's >> Like clear >> That's what he said. >> Clear as [ __ ] day. You can see their [ __ ] faces on video. Um if I would have known my sister was going to get stabbed between a fight like Like I know it's bad to say. Like I know like >> So, Bree was fighting with >> Bree and Bree and Halia were supposed to be fighting. While they were in the Columbus >> Was this like a planned thing or what? >> No, it was random as [ __ ] She came in while we came in. Like it was random as >> In the smoke shop? >> Yeah, in the smoke shop right there. >> Okay. >> She it just happened to come in and they started going at it in the [ __ ] store >> Uh-huh. >> and Bree called Halia cokehead. >> Okay. >> Halia is a sober like she's a she's a recovering addict. So, she took that into great offense. You know, I don't know if you've met any recovering addicts, but like me personally I'm one. >> Who was a addict? I'm sorry. >> Halia. Halia was an addict. So, and she called >> Halia the one that passed away though? She's a recovering addict at 17? Where are these Where are the parents at, man? These kids is out there in the They out in the streets, boy. Golly. Then they hanging around this guy. This guy look like he burning. He keep putting He keep itching down there. He got He done got burnt. This guy God damn, what's going on out here, man? >> That's what she called Haliya out on being a cokehead. >> Yeah, so like Haliya got mad and Haliya was waiting outside and they were supposed to just fight. They were supposed to just be a fight like I like I was there. I was supposed to be like in between it. I didn't even see a knife get pulled. >> Okay. >> Like I'm not sure if it was a knife or if she had a ring on her finger and just got her. Like you know what I'm saying? Like cuz a knife got pulled out and it was on the ground and I saw it. >> What kind of knife was it? >> It looked like a switchblade. >> A ring ain't penetrating like come >> like a butterfly knife type >> Okay. >> type of knife, but I'm not entirely sure. >> Okay. >> Like if I'm going to be honest with you, but she didn't have time to pull it out cuz Haliya like I'm not going to lie, that's my little sister, but she smacked the [ __ ] out of her first. Like you can see it on the video. >> Right. >> Haliya smacked her. All you saw from that was hands on hands. There was no like digging in the pockets and pulling out and going like you know what I'm saying? Like there was none of that cuz if I would have seen that, I would have already been in there and >> Right. >> y'all would have been called sooner. We didn't know she was bleeding out till she got it back. She like she crunched Brea in the [ __ ] face. Brea was on the ground and she walked away. Haliya walked away, got in the Jeep ready to drive. >> Right. >> And she was sitting there and Kenji comes over to me and goes she's spitting blood out of her [ __ ] chest. And I come over and I just see right right in this area on the right or left side of left side of her chest >> Uh-huh. >> shooting blood. My first reaction is take my [ __ ] shirt off, put pressure >> Put pressure on it. >> Okay. >> I've had [ __ ] I've had my brothers die in my arms because they got shot and I didn't put pressure on pressure on it. You know what I'm saying? Like I didn't put pressure fast enough. So like >> That's rough. That's rough, brother. That's rough. >> Man, just please save my sister, bro. >> Okay. Did we get your information yet? >> Uh I get I I'm pretty sure I gave it to him. I can give it to you, too. I'm >> Okay, just wait. Just wait. Just wait. >> Please don't let me get back in there. I got anxiety being in the >> Hey, it's okay. Just chill. Just relax. You're good. Okay? Going to be okay. >> No. And like I I honestly feel like if she got stabbed like with a ring or something. Like >> You think she got stabbed with a ring? >> Like honestly, like I feel like it was one of those like probably like self-defensive rings where it was like you shove it in my shoulder and it popped a hole. Like that's what I feel like. I didn't see the blade come out. Like I was standing like I'm clear as day in the video standing right there holding it. Like >> what he said. >> What you got left? >> Um I got to get uh I got to call 173. I think that she went to the hospital. >> Yes, [ __ ] that. >> Yeah, I think so. >> Can you see if you can find data births on those two? >> But according to employees inside the smoke shop, the situation may not have been as one-sided as it first appeared. >> Did you see anything? >> You work where? At the >> The smoke shop, yeah. >> Did you see anything or >> Yeah, I seen it one time what happened. Yeah. >> And how much? >> Um I know he got a video camera of the whole situation. >> Who does? >> The general over there talking to the cop. >> Okay. >> Um I know there was two girls fighting. >> You tried to like to react to it? >> Tried to stop it or whatever to try to diffuse the situation. >> And some people >> in the situation And that happened. >> Okay. >> Some people meaning in the men that was with her. That guy in the video. Yeah, get her. Yeah, get her. Yeah, like yeah, crunch her. Crunch her. Like Come on, that's some lame ass [ __ ] man. You just want to see girls fight. Like, what the What's going on, man? >> So I already told you like >> [laughter] >> Dying. >> Were they inside your store? >> Yeah. >> No, they fought over there. But were they Did they ever come inside your store? >> Yeah, it started It started in the store then came outside. >> outside? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But yeah, like I was saying So >> Yeah. >> Some people was pushing the situation. >> Okay. So, you're saying that they were pushing it? >> You got the video. They was going live. Just for some ratings, just for some likes, when it should have been avoided. >> Okay. >> That's what I said. I said that when they first showed the video. I said this guy The guy, whoever is filming and egging it on, he got to be charged with something cuz you instigating it. You getting them riled up. The one girl you getting her riled up. And the girl that actually uh passed away, you know, she's kind of passive, you know? But the the one The other one was being the aggressor and that boyfriend or whoever it was Yeah, get her. Crunch her. Like, come on, man. So, this guy is is right. This guy that's talking Some people were egging it on and getting loud and like this. Like He got the video. Like, yeah. Just for some views and some likes. We see that stuff all the time, you know, people post on Facebook if there's fights and stuff like that that go on in the neighborhood and stuff, but fights, man. Not stabbing. Like If you getting your ass whipped, you get your ass whipped. It is what it is. You know what I mean? But don't go from a fist fight to you Now you probably losing the fight or whatever, so you want to poke her up. Like, that the Come on, man. Take your loss. >> All right. I'll tell you what. I'm going to have you We're going to come back over here to my cruiser. Are you Are you Do you work there, too? >> Yes, sir. >> And you don't want to try to diffuse the situation? Okay. Well, tell you what. Come here. And they That's one. >> You got video. You're the one who instigated it after I told him I have a business to run. They was going to leave until they came outside and he pressed the issue. Forget all of that. I diffused it. He started it. He you will see it when you play the tape. >> Right. >> He's the guy that did it. I blame him. >> where's your cruiser? >> Do you work at the smoke shop? >> Yes. >> Okay. And um tell me what you observed today. >> Well, pretty much um the victim Well, I'm not even going to use that word. She pretty much her and her three friends was in the store first. >> Mhm. >> And then the other two came in moments after. So, it was kind of they was shopping while two girls was talking to me. And then um one initiated the other. So, I did my best to hurry up to get one out the store instead of all of them. So, all four of them came out left the store. The other two stayed in and purchased their beverages. So, I told my co-worker like I'm going to diffuse this. So, I stepped outside and was talking to her. She She >> So, who's her there? >> Um >> Which one? >> The The one I got stabbed. >> The one that got stabbed, you were talking to her. >> I was trying to tell her like I got I got this business to run. Just >> Yeah. >> Just go. >> Yeah. >> The guy that recorded everything was standing on Well, on my left side, which is where the trash can is. Uh where it says the the sign right there. >> The green sign? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> He's standing right there and he's recording everything and so she's getting upset thinking the two was telling me to go out there to stop her when really is don't want no incident to happen here period point blank is a business. >> was recording, was he with the girl that got stabbed? >> Yes. >> He was with her, okay. >> And she walks off, it looked like she literally was about >> Wait, the girl that was recording Wait, the guy that was recording was with the one that got stabbed? I thought that I thought the person I was recording was with the one that did the stabbing. >> So you mean >> until the two come out and then I'm trying to explain to him like yeah man, I understand you got a business to run. He goes and shakes my hand at the same moment the other two come out the store then it knifes it. >> Okay. >> So he instigated it when I just calmed everything down even though she was still upset. >> Yeah. >> So I'm looking at him like really? >> Yeah. >> And recording everything. So >> So he wasn't helping the situation at all. >> Nobody was helping nothing. Like it was a dead silence. The two girls was talking to me, the other two was shopping and once they had their words exchanged nobody was trying to say chill, calm down, no nothing. I'm the only one telling them like just just go, chill out, go ahead, go, leave the store. >> So the girl that got stabbed, she was in her vehicle and then came back out of her vehicle? >> I don't know. I was still in the store ringing up the other two. >> You were? >> So after I run them up, I came outside. So she was outside the vehicle. >> Okay. Okay, and then what transpired? >> Pretty much she did once they came out the store to be honest with you. Like flat out. I calmed it down. I wish they never walked out the store. I wish he never had said anything cuz he didn't make it any better. >> What did he say? >> Oh, there they go right there. Yeah, that's them. Go ahead say something. Now, I'm like >> So, then what happened? >> That's when you see the bottles and stuff cuz they got in each other faces and the guy that was with the other girl, he wasn't helping either. Like he didn't bother to stand in between them. He's too busy recording talking trash. Like, "Don't put your hands on my sister, bro." I'm like >> So, sorry. Fist fighting what? What happened? >> Yeah, pretty much. >> So, fist fighting? >> The one that got stabbed actually slapped her and walked off and that's when >> After the stabbing, Breanna fled the scene but wouldn't be hiding for long. Within minutes, officers are already at her front door. >> Copy that. Wait, wait, wait. All right. So, 4:48 I just want to get a body cam from earlier. Let's see how much time passed. 4:48 Uh, about 4 hours. Mm, okay. About 4 hours. Copy that. That's her purse she has. That's not been patted. Okay. You want to You want to take care of that? This is her cell phone. It's in airplane mode. Yeah, if you If you could, that'd be fantastic. It's in airplane mode. Okay. >> sharp on you? Anything I need to know about? >> Uh, I just might be using my phone. Just might be using it. >> Okay. >> All right. I'm going to need to hold your view. Okay. And like I said, when you get this back, you'll have this back, too. Okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. Come on this way. >> Your life over. >> Open that for me. >> Why? >> I'm going to need you to start to 231. 231 and I'm >> As officers prepare to take Breonna into custody, they receive an update from the hospital. Unfortunately, Haley Culbertson has died from her injuries. Breonna is no longer a stabbing suspect, but is now being taken into custody for murder. Moments later, she's sitting in the interrogation room ready to give her side of the story. >> To be able to do that because they put you in a car and kind of brought you here and kind of this facility in a police headquarters, you you can't just walk out. >> Mhm. >> Um so we have to read you your constitutional rights. Um and then make sure you understand those before we can ask any questions or anything like that. Um have you ever had your rights read to you before? >> Mhm. >> Okay. It's kind of like TV but not really like TV. Um I just want to show you these two forms. I've written your name and just kind of the time and the date up here. So I just want to show you these are the the same forms. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to start off down here at the bottom. Um these questions are kind of stupid. >> At this point, Breonna hasn't been told that Haley has died. After reading her rights, detectives don't waste time asking her to explain what happened that night. >> And he come pick you up? >> Mhm. And we went to Perry's the at the square. >> Mhm. So there were 161? >> Mhm. To get drinks and stuff. >> Why did you guys choose that one? That's not real close to Westerville. >> We always go there. That's just the spot we've gone for years. And we walk in and I'm grabbing my drinks and stuff and I hear two girls' voices, the ones that don't like me. And I ignore it. I'm on the phone with my brother. I have my brother on the phone and he is beside me. We grab our drinks and we walk up to check out, and they see me, and they just just start running their mouth then. >> Who were the girls? >> It was McKenzie Adrian, Halia Culbertson, and I don't know who the dude was. >> Okay. >> But he was definitely the loudest. But they just kept instigating, trying to get me to fight them, and I was like, "You're not worth it. I ain't you're not worth it. I'm done with my doing it." And even the guy working had told them to get out. And then they said they were going to wait for me outside. >> What does this all stem from? Like, what's the animosity? >> Uh Halia used to be a really good friend of mine. >> Uh-huh. >> And then I found out a lot that like she's just a really bad person, so I stopped being friends with her. My friend Eiad stopped talking to her. >> Yeah. >> And then after that, she pretty much just went >> As Breonna continues to talk, detectives realize this wasn't just a random confrontation, and there's one question they keep coming back to. What started all of this? >> crazy like saying she was going to kill us and slash his tires and do all these things and like she does to most people. There's a few people out there that she's done that to. >> Slash her tires and that? >> I don't know specifically if she has actually slashed someone's tires, but she threatens a lot of people to kill them. And the guy working >> Mhm. Okay, now I'm Now it's starting to come and gather for me. She's the one that got the one that got poked up is the bully. Mhm. Now, okay. Now it's starting to come to me. It's starting to make sense now. Okay. All right. But still, man, you got to man, cuz it's a one-on-one fight. I mean, there is other and stuff like that, whatever, around, supposedly. But, from the video, it's really just one-on-one. So, at that point, you know, you just got to use these, not weapons. >> at the smoke shop. He was checking out. He checked us out, and then he was like, "Wait, I'm going to make sure they leave." So, he walks out, and he looks It looks like he's just standing there. So, I think he told them to leave, and then when we walk out, they were by a Jeep. I think it was a silver Jeep. >> Mhm. >> And they're screaming at me, and then the dude tells Halia to run up on me. And she's walking up, and I keep telling her, "I'm not fighting you. Back up." I said, "You're not worth it." Keep telling her to back up. And I get my knife out in my hand, and I'm holding it, and I said, "Back up." And she attacks me. She first slapped me. She was pushing me. Well, before that, yeah, he was trying to like push her away from me, but the other guy said was telling him not to touch her, or else he was going to do something to him. And I just kept backing up, and then she just attacked me, and I don't know what exactly happened, but I went like this. And then she dragged me by my hair on the ground, and like there was just blood in my eyes. I couldn't see anything. But, I didn't I don't think I hit her or anything, cuz I was on the ground getting blood in my eyes. I had I had no idea what was going. I was just in shock at that point. >> Oh, man. You need a lawyer. A good lawyer could do could do something. I ain't going to lie, cuz you you know, even though yeah, she does have a weapon, but it's not like she approached her trying to it's for self-defense. I mean, she's still you're still in the wrong. You're going to do some time regardless. But, a good lawyer can maneuver some things, man. >> Now, now are you hurt at all? >> Mhm. No, I got a little cut right here. I think that's from her boyfriend. >> But >> But, he fell on my head and everything. I don't feel anything. Cuz that's mostly where she was hitting was the right in the back of my head. >> Back of your head. So, do you normally carry a knife? >> Uh sometimes. When I'm in areas I don't trust >> [snorts] >> I do. >> How often do you carry a knife? >> Um I usually bring it every day to work. So, 5 days a week I have it at work with me. >> At the same time, detectives asked her about the knife she used in the attack. >> So, when I'm opening boxes, that's I use it to >> That's what you use. And then when you go out to different places, you carry it with you. Have you ever pulled it on anyone? >> No. >> This was the first time you pulled it. Did the lady have any Did she have a knife? >> I don't think so. >> Did you see one? >> I didn't see one. >> Okay. She never indicated that she had a a weapon or a knife or anything like that. >> No. >> What about that? >> They were screaming at me all of them. So, I couldn't really She just kept saying that what she was going to do to me. That's all I remember. >> So, you're just saying she was going to fight you and beat you up. >> Mhm. She threatened >> That's the same thing. >> Well, obviously she's not going to kill me. >> That's what I'm saying. What did she say tonight or earlier? What did When you guys were out there, what was she saying to you? >> Oh, um she kept saying that pretty much I was a [ __ ] because I wouldn't fight her. And I just kept saying, "It's not worth it. You're not worth it." because who she was with, she's my brother's baby mama, if that makes sense. >> Yeah. >> She's already taken my niece from me once and I'm not allowed to see her. So, I really didn't want any issues because she already took my niece away, and I wasn't trying to fight. But, she kept saying that she was going to hurt me. >> Do you think it had to do with something with Kenzie? >> I don't know. >> Or you think it was just like >> I don't know. She She was really amped up, and I have no idea why. With me even saying I'm not fighting you, I'm not fighting you, she was just amped up, and they were instigating. >> Before any blows, like any hitting or anything like that, you you pull the knife out, hold it to your side, right? >> Yeah, I was backing up away from her. >> Was it open or shut? >> Open. >> Okay. Is it a knife you have to We haven't seen the knife. Is it a knife you has a sheath or is it like a pocket knife or >> It's like a pocket knife. >> It's like it folds? >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, then once you pulled it out, you opened it up immediately? >> Uh no. It wasn't immediate. >> Okay. >> But, I had it there, and then when she kept getting closer, that's when I opened it. >> Okay. Do >> [sighs and gasps] >> And she doesn't have a weapon, and you're just pulling a knife? Cali. For a one-on-one fight, that does not look good. That does not look good. Now, if it was two, three girls, that looks a little bit better in your favor. Like, if you're about to get jumped, okay, and you pull it out, let's go. You know what I mean? That looks a little a lot better than you pulling a knife for a one-on-one fight, and the other person doesn't have a weapon. Oh, you are cooked. >> Remember swinging the knife at her? >> Really? >> You don't remember that part? >> Yeah. >> Um how did you Do you remember Did you swing the knife at her as you were backing up or going forward? >> I think I was backing up because I was trying to put I think I was putting space in between us by doing that. >> It all happened pretty quick. >> Yes. >> Did you know they were going to be at the smoke shop? >> No idea. >> Just a random >> even know the cars or anything. It was just very random. >> Had you seen them there, Aliyah or Kenzie or >> No. >> smoke shop? >> The last time I saw Aliyah at the smoke shop, I was with her and that was probably four or five months ago, maybe or whenever October was. I think that's when we stopped being friends was in October or September. And then I've never seen Kenzie there before. I heard she went there, but I never saw her. >> So, it's kind of like a hangout type place? >> No, I don't usually hang out there. I don't know. They were there for a while, I think, because they were just standing there talking when we walked in. We had We just went in, got drinks, and cuz we were going to head back to my house. >> And then afterwards, what what all happened um with you and Aliyah? >> I called my mom on the way home. Oh, my brother was on the phone, so he was already in his truck. He was going to head to me because he was worried and I told him just to head home cuz I was going to head home. >> Breanna insists she didn't understand what was happening, but what she did after the incident suggests otherwise. >> She ran. >> home and explained it better to them and I showered and then I just was in my room. >> What did you do with the clothes and the knife? >> Um the clothes, I threw them on the ground. I think my brother put them downstairs in the laundry room and the knife, I don't remember who I handed it to. I just wanted it all the way from me, so >> You don't know what happened to all this stuff. >> Yeah, I don't remember who got it or anything. No. >> But you took it into the house. So, during the the the fight there when she was hitting you, what what happened with the knife during that time? >> Uh it had dropped on the ground. >> Okay. And >> was in longer in my hand. >> Okay. And then did you pick the knife up? >> No, I think I left the stuff on the ground. >> Oh, the stuff from the store? >> Mhm. >> Did you know she had been cut at that point? >> Um I didn't know if it was me or her cuz they were yelling saying that they were laughing saying that she may be bleed. So, I was like maybe there's a cut on me. But then I was looking all over myself when we got in the car. I was like it's I don't think it's me cuz she was just jumping. I couldn't see anything cuz my hair was just everywhere. >> Hair was in your face and all that. But then you realized that if it wasn't you it had to been her. >> Mhm. >> Once you were in the car. >> Yeah, cuz as soon as we got in the car we left. Me and her. >> out of there, yeah. >> We weren't in the apartment anymore. >> Did you call the police at all? >> No, I didn't know what to do. I thought police would come to my house like fast. And then when they didn't I just went to bed. >> All right. We got we got about 3 minutes 2 minutes left in this video. What What What do you guys think she's going to get? How much time do you think she's going to get? How much time you think she's going to get? We see We see something very similar happen. Carmelo got 35 years. Okay? >> [laughter] >> So, how much time is she going to get? I need I need I need numbers. I need numbers. What y'all think she getting? Y'all think she getting 15? 25? 25 to life? Life without the possibility of parole? What? 10? Okay. I think 15. I think she'll get like 15 or something like that. Um because historically to be honest, historically women get less time than men for the same crimes. So, um yeah, I would say around 15 15, 12 to 12 to 20. Oh damn, that's a big range. Okay. 12 to 20 10, 10 to 15, 15. Okay, let's see. >> Has anyone called you for that crew or any messages or anything about >> No, but he had got a few things. >> [laughter] >> HE SAID SHE SAID SHE'S a white girl, 7 YEARS. >> [laughter] >> SHE'S A WHITE GIRL, 7 years. Oh man. >> [laughter] >> Not even getting double digits, man. Damn. Okay, 25. What state is this? Uh Columb- I think this Columbus, Ohio. I think this Ohio. Um 15 because of the video, too. Zero, self-defense. Oh >> [laughter] >> shoot. >> [gasps] >> I don't know. You ain't getting No, ain't no self-defense in this. All right. No, it's a one-on-one fight. It's a one-on-one fight. That ain't Mhm. She definitely gets some time. >> I have them blocked on everything cuz I from once I've had them all blocked. I want nothing to do with any of it. >> So, I'm going to just use my phone here and I'm going to get some pictures of you. >> And when detectives reveal that Haley had didn't make it, Breonna responds in a way that stands in sharp contrast to what she claimed earlier. >> You'll be able to present a self-defense claim at that point. Does that make sense? Do you have any questions for me at this time? Do you want me to call your mom right now or do you want to call her? You'll get a call when you get to the county the county jail. >> I'm not going home. >> No, you're going to jail cuz we're charging >> You ain't going home for A LONG TIME. >> [laughter] >> CUZ WE'RE CHARGING YOU WITH UH >> You're charged with murder. You'll go to county jail. Uh tomorrow you'll go to court for your first arraignment. They'll set your bond, and then at that point we have 10 days to present the case to the grand jury for indictment. If we don't do that, you have to be released. Um if you don't post bond, if you if we do present to the grand jury and they what's called a no bill, if they decline charges, then the case is dismissed at that point. Um that's kind of the process right now. So you'll go right now, some uh patrol officers will take you down to the county jail. You'll get slated down there under the one charge of murder. Tomorrow you'll go to court where they'll set your bond. So when you do get down to the county, you'll you'll will have access to a phone if you want to call your family then. >> I would like to call my mom. >> This is a slam dunk. This is a slam dunk case. She pulled it out on purpose. The other girl doesn't have a weapon. And this is a slam dunk. She would have had a chance if she got a good lawyer. But with this interrogation here, no. It's over with. You're cooked. >> Okay. >> As soon as possible? >> Yeah. So right now they're going to take you uh down one floor. Um then right there they'll take your uh take your photos of you and take your fingerprints. Uh that's just process. That's just policy. And then you'll be uh driven down to Franklin County Jail. Do you have any questions or anything like that? Do you have anything else on you besides in your pockets or anything like that? You just got a bracelet. Do you have earrings in? >> I have a necklace or or my hand I don't know where that went. >> You don't have your necklace anymore. Okay. >> I'll be shocked if she get more than 15. >> of self-defense Yeah, see look look look if you watch the video when she gets slapped she goes like this. Oh no, hold on hold on. But she did get hit first but still you can't a a a fist fight to not man y'all. She backing up. She pulls it. It's a decision that cost Halia her life. It's out. She gets slapped. Here she go. Poke poke. >> [screaming] [laughter] >> Three years for a body? Nah nah. What? >> [laughter] >> Come on man. Come on man. Three years? I told you. Women get significantly less time than men. I'm It's just the way it goes, man. This is so similar to the Carmelo case. This is very similar. Do I think Carmelo deserves the time that he got? Yeah. But when we look at something like this, she deserves time, too. Like, I'm thinking more 15. I'm like, all right, she going to get like 15. But this is so similar. Carmelo in a tent that he not supposed to be, the dude like, "Yo, you got to get up out of here." or whatever, and a a a pushing shoving match goes on or whatever. Carmelo pokes him up. Gets him together. He, you know, the other kid is checked out. This is the same type of thing. They start going, you know, going at it or whatever. The girl slaps her. Bam! She pokes her up. Got her together. Sent her to the gates. Three years? Nah. Yo. Yeah, who said seven? Who said seven? I got to go back up. Who said seven? That was crazy. ODK, she's what? Seven years, man. Damn. That's insane. Same type of thing It's, you know, there's some nuances that's a little different, but it's just it's very similar, man. Golly. Yeah, and then with the Carmelo case, you got the race component there, too, you know, a black uh a black man, white man, you know, there's a whole lot. This is just white on white females, you know what I'm saying? Um white on white, you know, ladies and stuff like that. So, you know, you got black and white males going at it. It's completely different, but bro, damn. Damn, man. That's insane. That's insane. 3 years? 3 years for a body? I'm thinking this is definitely a slam dunk. I'm I'm thinking this is a slam dunk. Cuz she could have definite- She could have got a similar outcome. I feel like she could have got a similar outcome. Not not no 3 years. 3 years is insane, but you know, maybe 10 years, you know, 15, you know, something like that. You know, man- For manslaughter it's, you know, like 10 years cuz people not really getting that much more time than like 15 for manslaughter, honestly. You can get more time, but >> [clears throat] >> No, man. Damn. 3 years for a body? When did this happen? What year did this happen? She She out already, man. When did this happen, man? 2023, she home. She She home. She been home for probably a year already. Chilling, living doing the rest of her year on on parole. Feet kicked up, chilling. Damn. She been home for like a year, year and a half already, man. She probably did half the time in there. The other half, you know, if she had no incidences and stuff like that, she come out. >> [snorts] >> She was in there for a hot little minute, man. Year and a half. If that. She That's it. God, and she did that with with with a full interrogation of spilling the beans. Now that Now imagine what she did if she had a real good lawyer and didn't go through that. She would have probably walked, man. >> [laughter] >> She would have probably walked. What? There's people in prison right now for this same type of thing this same similar incident doing way more time. 25 people doing 25 to life for this same type of thing. Boy, that's crazy, man. That's insane. That's insane. But, it it is a fact. Gr- Girls get less time for the same type of crimes that guys commit. They get less time, man. Less time. People go to prison for fraud and longer Man, people get longer than that for for selling weed. People doing more time than that for for selling weed. You kill some- You sent somebody up to the heaven gates, man. They up through there right now. Spirit done left they body. Boop, gone. Out of there. Gone. You out. Three years? Now, I get it. They instigated it, you know? The person that ended up getting poked up instigated it, for sure. But, still you talking about a weapon versus deeds. She slapped you. You know, and you got you you start going like this. You start poking. What? What bothers me is the time difference. See, now now that I bring up that Carmelo case it seem a little different now, right? Y'all Y'all see that? It's so similar. It's so similar. So But one got a lot of publicity, you know? The other one didn't, you know? I never heard about this case until now, you know? And then you got the race component. You got black man, white man, you know? This one, you got white woman, white woman, you know? It's a little different. Um you know? Same thing. They get into a pushing match or whatever. Carmelo pokes him up, sends him up through there. This one, the girl pimp slaps her. She pokes her up, sends her up through there. One gets 35 years. One gets three. That's crazy, man. That is so crazy. I'm not mad at the time that Carmelo got. 35 It is what it is, you know what I'm saying? But shh, this girl should have got a lot more time. You know what I'm saying? I get it. >> [clears throat] >> Girls get less time than guys, but she's supposed to be somewhere in that 15 to 20 range. At least. For me to feel comfortable about You got to be in that 15 to 20. Three is crazy. Three is crazy, man. You getting more time You getting more time for doing less than that. You ended someone's life and got 3 years. There's people in there that might that might have been >> [snorts] >> that might have been great, you know what I'm saying? Been abused and stuff like that or whatever, and they get back on their accuser and stuff like that. They doing more time, you know? These guys, you know? There's people that that's doing stuff like that. They get way more time. There's so many other different situations where people are getting more time than 3 years. 3 years is crazy. It is is literally insane. LM says uh This why I love your live show. You bring the bottom line to >> [laughter] >> Oh, yeah, man. This is This is I didn't expect that. I didn't expect that. I didn't expect no 3 years, man. It's crazy, but anyway, um yeah, that's the live for today. Um I don't know when's the next time I'll be live. Uh so, you uh uh Whatever. I don't really talk about my personal life too much. Um but uh Mama Sha has uh has been in the has been in the the hospital and stuff like that the uh little over a week and stuff. So, a lot has been going on, you know, um so, that's why you kind of either get the videos early in the morning or late at night cuz pretty much during the day it's like whatever. Um but uh Yeah, so, um tonight, you know, I've I've been home, so you know, uh so, I was able to do this or whatever. Um but I don't know when the next time I don't know. We'll see how Wednesday is, you know, and stuff like that or whatever. Uh but whenever I come back live, you will know. And uh that's that. So, hopefully you guys enjoy the rest of y'all week and um yeah, so, I'mma catch you guys on the flip side, man, you know, uh Yeah, uh thank you guys. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Uh but yeah, so, that's that. Um Yeah, uh like I said, you guys have a good rest of y'all week and I'll catch you guys at a later date. All right. >> [laughter] >> All right. All right. Let's see here. Peace. >> [music] [music]
