All right, I've got a very important and disturbing follow-up for you from a video that I uploaded yesterday where members of the Wasaw Police Department in Wasaw, Wisconsin, brutalized and basically ganged up on a bunch of teenage girls in the hallway of an apartment complex. And you can see in this still frame right here, a 210, 220 lb man is straddling this little 15year-old girl, her face bloody. She's handcuffed. His knee and his weight are on her back. And you might wonder, what does the police chief of the Wasaw Police Department think about what his thugs, excuse me, law enforcement officials did to these 15year-old girls in Wasau, Wisconsin. Well, I'm not going to keep you in suspense. I'm going to tell you exactly what the police chief said because he just made a statement on his Facebook page a couple hours ago. Now, before I read this official statement by Chief Barnes from the Wasau Police Department, brace yourself because what he says in this statement, while it is disturbing to those who have a normal IQ and a heart of compassion, the response under his statement is what really takes the cake. But let's just go ahead and start off with what he says. His statement reads, "We are aware of online commentary, criticism, and emotion in response to a social media post that included a few minutes of video of Wasau police officers using force arresting several female teenagers. The video shared on social media was a small portion of the interactions between Wasau officers and a group of intoxicated teenagers. Important context and details are missing as the entire incident lasted about 90 minutes. Officers dealt with 11 intoxicated teenagers, some of whom were disrespectful, argumentative, vulgar, physically resisted arrest, and assaulted a police officer. These teenagers made a series of bad decisions. The Wasau Police Department has no intention of publicly shaming them or sharing video of their behavior. Now, why is that? Because you could always release the video and blur the faces. You don't have to shame anybody, but you can tell us the complete story and release all of the body cam footage in the interest of transparency. Our officers seek voluntary compliance whenever they can. They don't want to use force. If you don't want to use force, guess what? You don't use force. But if you do want to use force, you use force. And the force should be commensurate with whatever action required the force. Somebody's got a knife and they're coming at you, you should restrain them, no matter how old they are. If somebody's trying to harm someone else, you should restrain them no matter how old they are. But there's a world of difference between appropriate restraint and outright abuse of females, especially females who are minors. The officers in this incident made numerous attempts to deescalate the situation. Give us the video. We want to see that cuz the video that was released that was recorded by a third party made it look like you guys were the bad guys. And that's an objective conclusion and gave the group multiple opportunities to cooperate and avoid additional consequences like having a teenager's face smashed against the tile floor like having a 210 220 lb giant get on the back of a 15-year-old girl. You mean those consequences, chief? The Wasau police officers acted appropriately within policy and according to their training. So you train, are you admitting right now, Police Chief Barnes, that you train your men, your 220 lb gorillike men to slam 15year-old girls faces to the floor and bloody them. Stay tuned. I'm going to show you part of the video. As police chief, I have reviewed the officer's body camera footage in their entirety. I support our officers actions and recognize the difficult situation they were in. Our officers are increasingly asked to handle volatile situations with uncooperative citizens, and they do so with integrity, professionalism, and a desire to serve the Wasau community. Signed, Chief Barnes. In other words, police chief Barnes is saying, "I support our officer's actions and slamming a 15-year-old girl's face into the tile floor and ganging up on and brutalizing her even younger relative." And before we get to the comments under this statement, which are absolutely ridiculous and mindblowing, let me refresh your memory on what Chief Barnes is actually supporting. And let's not mince words here. Chief Barnes is supporting his 220 pound gorilla warrior heroes brutalizing your 15-year-old daughters in Wasau, Wisconsin. Let's take a look at the entire video from the beginning to end, and you tell me in what context would ever justify these law enforcement officers actions. >> Are y'all [ __ ] serious? >> Are y'all [ __ ] serious? N y'all doing too much, bro. >> Y'all doing Y'all doing too much, bro. >> Y'all doing too much, bro. >> Y'all doing way too much. Y'all, >> y'all, she's [ __ ] bleeding. Are you [ __ ] Is this what you're doing, bro? You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Y'all are [ __ ] [ __ ] bro. What you doing, bro? What are you doing? What are you doing, bro? What are you doing? What are you doing? >> What are you doing, bro? What are you doing? >> Hey, WHAT WHAT ARE Y'ALL DOING? >> GET OVER THERE. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING, BRO? SET SHUT YOUR [ __ ] ASS UP. Y'ALL doing way too much, bro. [ __ ] >> Yo, what? >> And if you're a parent out there, I would advise you to teach your kids to clean up their language. You know, nobody wants to hear this kind of thing. Yeah, he's got free speech. He can say whatever he wants to, but it's way better if you deescalate yourself and just point out, hey, you know what you're doing is wrong, officer. This is absolutely wrong. This is const unconstitutional. You're violating the right to be secure in their person's houses, papers, and effects. The very basic constitutional rights every American is supposed to enjoy. You're taking those away and just let that settle with them. Now, this cop right here is going to threaten to pepper spray a kid who's merely exercising his right to record in public. >> [ __ ] doing, bro. She >> Are you [ __ ] kidding me? >> She We ain't do [ __ ] Yo, yo, doing this [ __ ] for no reason, bro. >> Y'all are being [ __ ] s. >> Exactly, bro. What [laughter] the [ __ ] >> Exactly. >> Back up. What am I saying? >> Shut your [ __ ] ass up. Shut your [ __ ] ass up. >> Shut your [ __ ] bro. You're doing way too much, bro. You ain't doing [ __ ] bro. >> You ain't doing [ __ ] bro. Y'all doing, >> bro. Like, what the [ __ ] >> Yeah, bro. >> I'm going to spray you. He's got the pepper spray out. Ready to just put the hurt on this kid for recording in public. >> Yeah, we'll back it up, [ __ ] ass. >> Tell me right now. >> Yeah, tell me your you pedo ass [ __ ] Pedo ass mustache. What is that mustache on your face? What is that mustache on your face? >> Young lady, I'm going to get you fat up. >> Yeah. Look at what you did to her, bro. Look at what you did to her. >> You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] bro. >> You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] You're a [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Yeah. You feel good to yourself, little [ __ ] Yeah. >> Yeah. Turn this. I got all this [ __ ] to record you, [ __ ] >> Yo, you're a [ __ ] [ __ ] bro. >> What the [ __ ] are you doing with your life? Now, you can look in my last video and I go over the Wasaw police policy. He was not supposed to have any weight, including his knee on her back. If if he was going to have it, it was only to get her in cuffs. She was in cuffs for 1 minute and 23 seconds. And the entire time he had his knee firmly embedded in her back as she lay on the tile floor in the prone position with her face bleeding. [ __ ] body. He's a [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Why doesn't police chief Barnes say Yeah, he broke He definitely broke department policy on that one. >> Exactly, bro. What What the [ __ ] are you doing, bro? What are you doing? What are you doing, bro? >> What the [ __ ] are you doing? >> I'm got What the [ __ ] >> What the [ __ ] >> You feel good with yourself right now? You feel good with yourself right now? You feel good? [ __ ] [laughter] >> Hey, LET ME GET THAT PHONE. LET me get that phone. >> STEP BACK. >> HEY, LET ME GET THAT PHONE. [laughter] >> HEY, what's your back? >> All right. What's your badge number? >> Back up. >> What's your name, bro? What's your name? What's your name? >> Sit down. >> Let me get that. Hey, let me get that phone. [laughter] >> Hey, can you hand me that phone? That phone is not yours. >> Back up. I'm back. I'm not back up. >> I'm right here. I'm not I'm not moving. >> I'm not moving. >> That phone that's ours, bro. Sir, that is not your phone. Let me grab the phone. >> Hand me the phone. >> Hand me the phone then. >> No. >> Why? [laughter] >> SIT DOWN. I'M DONE. >> BACK UP AND SIT DOWN. >> I'm not doing anything. Just hand me the phone, dude. >> Exactly. What the >> How do you feel about that, bro? How do you feel about that? Even the commanding officer has forced speech. He has no deescalation skills exhibited whatsoever. >> How do you feel about that? >> Let's go outside. >> I'm I'm not No, I'm not doing Are you serious right now? >> Yes, I am serious. >> Are you serious right now? >> Stay out here. >> I do. We did. That officer, she threw her to the ground. >> Stay out here. >> She threw her to the ground. Are you guys serious right now? I understand that [ __ ] is not my [ __ ] I would >> [ __ ] >> Yeah, she'll we'll get her home. It'll be a bit but we'll eventually she'll get there. All right, >> I'm evil. [ __ ] evil. >> Everyone here's been drinking and I think that's playing a role. >> Yep. >> HE SMASHED MY [ __ ] FACE AGAINST THE GROUND. Sit down. >> HE SMASHED OH, YOU HEAR THAT? >> EXACTLY. >> That's right. >> REALLY? WHY IS [laughter] >> I think that was the assault on the police officer. Oh my god, that was horrible. Police Chief Barnes say why the [ __ ] is she? >> She can go. Hey, I'm going out there. I don't know. You're sitting your ass down. >> WHY IS SHE BLEEDING? You're going nowhere. [laughter] >> I see. Take me the [ __ ] outside. RIGHT THE [ __ ] TAKE ME THE [ __ ] OUTSIDE. I don't want to be the [ __ ] in here anymore. >> Let go of me. I'll be still here. >> Yes, he is. Your dad's outside. >> I'm recording. >> Go to your dad. >> I'm recording for proof. >> Cuz you got to be a piece of [ __ ] and turn off your body cam because you're [ __ ] recording. >> No, it's not. It's not on. You see the red flashing lights on theirs? Yours isn't. [ __ ] lying piece of [ __ ] [snorts] So, were the kids disrespectful, argumentative, vulgar? Did they physically resist arrest? And did they assault a police officer? Oh, yeah. It was horrible. And they definitely deserved to be brutalized by men twice their size and twice their age. I'll tell you this. If anybody in the neighborhood saw a parent treat a kid, their own kid, like that in their front yard or in a mall or in some public area, people would get on the phone and call the police because they'd be like, "Hey, that right there, that is abuse. That cannot stand in a free society. That kid is being harmed by that adult and it doesn't make it right because the officer has a uniform and he can't control the kids. It's not the kid's fault that he doesn't have deescalation techniques down pat. But like I mentioned, the most disturbing thing is not what Chief Barnes condoned, what he supports. It's not so much Well, yeah, it is very disturbing what the law enforcement agents did to a bunch of teenage girls, but what's even more mind-boggling is that community members and people around the internet are applauding what the cops did. Diane here says, "Your job cannot be an easy one. Thank you for all you do, including when you abuse teenagers. Thank you, Wasau Police Department, for all you do to protect our community. Who's going to protect the teenagers if they're too busy abusing teenagers? I live in this building and I want to thank the Wasau Police Department for their tireless efforts to keep us safe. It's not an easy job and I appreciate everything you do. Isn't it funny how videos posted never show the whole story and then people get all worked up without all the information? Parents need to discipline and teach their kids right from wrong and with consequences for negative actions rather than worrying about how many texts they got or likes on some stupid Facebook post. I completely agree. It's possible that the parents dropped the ball with these kids. These these kids were being completely disrespectful. They were being out of control. But you know what? An adult with a good heart and a good nature who knows how to talk to kids and knows how to deescalate would not be throwing teenage girls around like ragdolls. The amount of entitled teenagers around central Wisconsin is off the charts high. And I have full faith in all police departments. Have you tuned in to any YouTube videos lately? They're revenuegenerating psychopathic control freak scumbags by nature, by practice, and by profession. Show me one good cop who gives a damn about the first amendment, the second amendment, the fourth amendment, the fifth amendment, the 10th amendment. Show me one good cop who knows all five elements of the first amendment, raps, rap, aps, religion, assembly, petition, press, speech. Show me one. I've never met a single law enforcement agent that knew all five articles of the First Amendment. And if you don't know the First Amendment, how can you protect and serve the people who are going to be exercising the First Amendment? If you have a cop who's going to enforce any gun law, that's a violation of shall not be infringed right there. That automatically makes him unconstitutional. If you have one cop who's going to enforce the drug war laws, which is a violation of the Declaration of Independence, your right to be free to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. If any cop is going to force you to give him your ID under some corporate traffic law violation, he doesn't give a damn about your right to be secure in your person. And he definitely doesn't care about you if he's going to throw 15year-old teenagers down and bloody their faces on a tile floor and then hop on their back for a minute and 23 seconds, which is an absolute violation of your own policy. Chief Barnes, we are with the police. Thank you. Play stupid games. Win handcuffs. Those are torture cuffs. Dean, thank you for all you do. Was Police Department, please brutalize our teenagers a little harder, says Lissa. You guys are awesome, says Thomas. Watch the video. Support WPD officers 100%. This is a perfect way to end this video with this image right here and with this thought. Have you ever heard of Stockholm syndrome? It's this psychological phenomenon where hostages or victims of abuse develop positive feelings like sympathy, empathy, affection, or even loyalty and protectiveness toward their capttors or abusers. sometimes alongside negative feelings toward rescuers or authorities. But what if those rescuers or authorities become the abusers? Well, that's exactly what we see in the comment section under Chief Barn statement. People are absolutely okay with 45year-old grown 210, 220 lb men straddling little girls and bloodying their faces on tile floors because they can't control them and they don't have any idea how to deescalate. Now, if you think this is okay, let me hear it in the comment section. If you think I got it wrong, I want to hear your voice. Just let me have it. Let everything fly. I don't care. I never delete comments. What do you think about what the Wasaw Police Department did to these little kids? What do you think they could have done different? Do you think they could have employed some deescalation strategies or techniques that could have made this a little easier for everyone without having to put torture cuffs on little bitty kids?
