Just little girls, right? >> Have a nice day. >> I'm about to shatter your window, ma'am. >> You keep your hands up. You're going to jail. >> Okay, >> get out of the car. Put your hands up. >> You're going to jail for college. >> You're beating up on the people that pay your salary. >> You guys are all up in panties for no reason. >> No, I wear pants. >> You're real tough. >> If they come back out onto the street, take your ass to jail. Welcome back to the Lackluster channel. In March of 2023, Sergeant Steven Bryant of the Longwood Police Department was stopped in a turn lane at a red light. When the light changed, Sergeant Bryant followed the vehicle in front of him into a parking lot of a strip mall and initiated a traffic stop. >> Christ, bro. [Music] Pull off the roadway. Not in the middle of the road. >> The driver did not hear the instructions, so Sergeant Bryant repeats them using the cruiser's PA system. >> Pull out of the roadway, not in the middle of the road. Believe it or not, this was an extremely charitable thing for Sergeant Bryant to do. It's nearly impossible to know what an officer wants when they initiate a stop. Some want you to drive to the nearest parking lot. >> Stop when I tell you to stop. >> I was already pulling in here. This is where I work. >> I have you on dash cam cutting me off. >> That's fine. I'm cutting you off. Don't tell me I cut you off. I got you on camera, too. Give me your ID. All you have to do is pull over. >> I did pull over. >> You didn't light me up until after I had my And I'm telling you, you start with the video and stuff right away of any other cop, they're just going to sight you. >> I'll watch the video, but you had the attitude as soon as you come out. Why didn't you pull over? >> Well, it did take you a minute. >> It took you a hot second. I mean, we we had to blink before you know, I wasn't pulling you over for that. >> Okay, fair enough. But then you pulled into here. You could stop right there next time. >> Bro, you were rolling for a minute. Like our lights were on for a good 10, 15 seconds. >> Usually that's a pursuit, man. Like no [ __ ] >> People would put that out because that's what our job sucked, dude. >> Our job sucked, dude. Other officers will intentionally flip your car. Even if you slow down, pull to the right, activate your emergency lights, and wait to exit the freeway. [Music] Hey, did they hit the inside wall? They roll over. Get me AMS started. Can you get out? Come on out. Come out this way. Right here. Why didn't you stop? >> Because I didn't feel like >> Are you the only one in the vehicle? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Well, ma'am, you've got to pull over when we stop. >> It doesn't matter, ma'am. >> Fortunately, for now, in this case, >> pull out of the roadway. >> Sergeant Bryant follows the driver into a parking lot. going Sergeant Brian Lman Police Department. You let your window down for me, please. >> It's down. Here you go. >> This license, register, proof of insurance. >> Here you go. >> Your license, registration, proof insurance. >> I don't have that on me. >> Why don't you have that on me? >> Just go in my phone and grab a second. >> Can you move your life, please? >> I cannot. Unfortunately, it's a safety issue. >> Okay. All right, Miss Class, do me a favor. Step out of the vehicle for me. >> No, no, no. I'm going to get you. >> Okay, I'm ask you to step out of the vehicle for me. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Well, you don't have that option. Okay. If I >> Yes, I do. >> You do not. >> Yes, I do. If I'm ask I'm not going to step out. Why did you pull me over? >> Del another unit. All right. I'm going to ask you one more time. Okay. >> Sir, why did you pull? >> You going to have either step out of the vehicle or I'm going to go ahead and bust this window and pull you out of the vehicle. >> For what? >> Okay. Can I'm asking you to step out of the vehicle. >> We're going to go Let me get my insurance. >> Okay, ma'am. I'm going to ask you one more time. >> No, sir. >> Step out of the vehicle for me. >> Stay where I was. >> Nope. >> Which was at Circle K or in front of my father's house. >> Okay. Do me a favor. Step out of the vehicle for me. >> No, sir. I just I don't see why >> cuz I'm telling you to. >> I feel comfortable in my car. I'm >> okay. Well, I'm not asking you anymore. >> I'm getting my >> I'm telling you to step out of the vehicle. >> Please call another sergeant for me, please. >> I am the sergeant on duty. So, you can either step out of the vehicle >> call 911. If you call 911, you're going to go to jail for misuse of 911. >> For what? You just >> I'm telling you if you call 911, you're going to go to jail. >> I don't feel comfortable. I feel shaken right now. >> Well, I don't know why. >> Because you're asking me to pull over. You said you were going to break the window. >> Yes. Because I'm telling you to step out of the vehicle. I don't need to tell you why. I'm telling you to step out of your duty. It is not. >> Yes, it is. >> So, you can go ahead and step out of the vehicle or you're going to go to jail. >> This on camera. >> I 100% do. So, >> all of it. >> So, you go ahead and step out of the vehicle. I'm going to pull you out of the vehicle. Let me call you Zo. >> Okay. You got one more opportunity to step out of the vehicle. I'm going to shatter your window and I'm going to pull you out. I'm telling you what's going to happen. So, you can either step out of the vehicle. >> All right. I'm getting out of the car. >> Step out of the vehicle now. >> Excuse me. Can I get a second? >> Step out of the vehicle now. >> It never stops. >> Cool. >> Can I? >> Nope. I'm told you you're you've got that option. You're going to jail. I'm telling you now. That's what I got from refusing to open the window. Um you separate close. >> I'm about to shatter your window, ma'am. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court ruled against the right of citizens to remain safely contained inside their vehicles during traffic stops. In Pennsylvania, v MIMS, the court decided that the government's interest in officer safety outweighs the individual's interest in staying put. That means officers can legally order you out of your vehicle during any lawful stop. And if you refuse, they can stack on additional charges, essentially creating a crime without a victim. What's worse is that most people have never even heard of MIMS. Judging by how often we see drivers in these videos insisting they don't have to exit, it's clear the court's opinion is not common knowledge. You'll often hear that ignorance is no excuse. But the irony is in how often law enforcement is granted the excuse of ignorance. For example, to defeat qualified immunity, you must prove that a federal law has been clearly established and that a reasonable officer should have known they were violating a person's civil rights. And in H Highenv, North Carolina, the court established that a police officer's mistake or misinterpretation of the law can still be used to provide reasonable suspicion. A reasonable question might be to ask, why aren't these standards applied to everyone? The answer, of course, is to justify when officers act like this. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> What is wrong with you? >> Step out of the vehicle now. >> Step out of the vehicle. Can you let me step out of the vehicle? >> Get out of the vehicle. Pepper spray deploy. Step out of the vehicle now. >> Step out of the vehicle. Do it now. Do it now. Get out of the vehicle. Get on the ground. >> Put your hands behind your back. Do it now. >> Do it now. >> Stop. >> Do it now. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Stop your hand. >> You're going to get tased. >> [ __ ] do. All for money, honey. All for money. You never see him. Excuse me. >> Excuse me. Stand up. >> Excuse me. >> We'll get you in a minute. >> Well, >> now you're going to jail. >> For resisting obstruction on here. You can wear my glasses. >> No, I'm not worried about your glasses. >> I am. >> I don't care. >> I don't care about anything yourself. [Applause] >> Uh, you can keep another unit coming. Uh, can you have FD route as well? Have a seat. [Applause] Sergeant Bryant will now falsify the events related to the traffic stop to justify his actions even though he knows that he is on camera. >> Yeah. >> Why? >> My ass when I bust the window went through it. >> Huh? >> Cuz she pulled back and kicked me. >> Yeah. Uh, well, I'm just not sure about that. >> When watching the replay, though, the driver resisted Sergeant Bryant's attempt to pull her out of the vehicle. It's clear that she never kicked the officer, but Bryant isn't finished lying. >> Cuz she pulled back and kicked me. >> Oh, she >> Yeah, she he >> I don't know. They throw the drink at you and take >> Yeah. Do it now. Get down vehicle. Get on the ground. >> Did they throw the drink at you? >> Yeah. >> I hate you. >> Yeah. At least out of my face. That's all. >> I know. Did they Did the person throw their dick at you? >> Yeah, that's what it said. She pulled back. She kicked back. And then that's why I said, "All right, cool." What' you stop for? >> Uh, high beam it on. >> High. >> Yeah. Cut myself. I'm sure it's nothing but like glass shards. >> Then she kicked me and I'm tell I bust the window. I bust it and I pull the door open and she kicks me and I go to pull her. She threw a drink at me all in my face. >> So I sprayed it, dude. >> Huh? >> This is how he does. >> All right. So, pepper spray makes him sneeze. Just said, >> "Yeah, it just made her sneeze." >> Jesus. >> Pepper spray makes. >> So, she wouldn't roll down the window. >> She wouldn't roll out the window. It's one of those ones she did this. I said, "Man, can you let out your window for me?" >> "No." "All right, cool. I'm not going to argue with you. Go ahead and step out of the car for me. I don't need to step out of the car." I said, "Well, not asking you. You have to step out of the car." >> Got you. >> I don't want to step out of the car. I said, "Okay, well, you either step out of the car or go ahead and or I'm going to bust your window." >> Yeah. I'm not I'm calling 911. I said if you call 911, >> you go to jail 911. >> All right. >> Well, I don't have to. I said, "All right, open window." She's let it up and she's like doing one of those things. I said, "All right, cool." So, I take my apps and it flies through the window. I use a glass breaker. It goes straight through the window. Oh jeez. >> And goes in. >> Where is it? Do you have it? >> I grabbed it. >> Oh, okay. >> And then I go to pull her out. She leans back towards kicks and throws her water. I was like, "All right, I'm done with this." And I sprayed her >> and then uh >> I think she [ __ ] her face. >> Gangster what? >> I don't I don't know if she's eating something or you bust her face. >> Oh, I have to look. I think he's coming anyway. All right. >> Uh now I pulled her out and Peggy was getting her I threw it to the ground. >> So resisting with violence battery and then whatever else we can >> Yeah, whatever else we can take with. >> Just so you're aware, you're going to jail for resisting with violence obstruction. No, I'm not giving you glasses right now. Okay. Well, we'll take it up to the hospital. You got pepper spray anyway. So you go out there and get medical clear. >> Okay. >> I can't see the floor right there. >> We'll we'll get him in a second. I'm telling you what you're going to jail for. Okay. >> All you had to do >> was simply step out of the vehicle. I don't need to tell you why your son drove. Okay. So >> that's what you're going to jail for. All you had to do was simply step out of the vehicle. You probably would have got your ticket. You would have been on your way. Okay. >> Later, Twisted Luck Truth ran into Sergeant Bryant at the department headquarters. What's up, man? >> That that video you threw that little girl right on the ground. Ground her face in the glass. You feel you feel you you do that to men your size, too? Or just little girls? >> Have a nice day. >> Right. Just little girls, right? >> Have a nice day. >> Just little girls. Big man. Fan from the channel. This is a public service sent this case to me. But this isn't the first time Sergeant Bryant showed the internet that he is incapable of deescalation. In May of 2024, another officer with the Longwood Police conducted a felony stop on a man backing into his driveway because he had a modified exhaust system on his vehicle. >> Stop. Stop. >> Get out of Get out of the car now. >> Bravo 438. Get out of the car. Put your hands up. >> The driver was arrested for backing into his driveway while being pulled over. Sergeant Bryant eventually arrived on scene and the officer explained the situation. >> He starts backing up. I'm telling him to stop from my driver's side. I come around. He's not listening. He's getting out the car. >> Get out of Get out of the car now. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Now I got my GoPro. I'm like, "Stop moving. Put your hands up." He's still on his phone doing whatever. As the officer misremembers the details, the driver's wife is attempting to explain the situation to someone over the phone. >> There's no reason to do anything from helping Davis move. >> So why, >> ma'am? If you keep telling, you're going to jail. Shut your mouth. >> Shut your mouth. >> She got her kids right there watching at the window. So she upset. >> Shut your mouth. being upset with our kids watching out the window. >> You could go to jail, too, if you want to keep yelling. >> You want to pay me to tell you? >> So, hush him out. Walk back inside. >> Walk back inside and you deal with the kid. Go walk back inside and deal with the kid. >> Throughout the video, Sergeant Bryant continues to threaten people with jail when he becomes annoyed with them. >> If you come back out here, you're interrupt you're interrupting our investigation. You're going to go to jail. I'm letting you know now. You can go inside the house. That is an adult. We don't need you out here. You are free to go inside the house. >> Be fiancé. We have children. >> He's going to jail. >> This is my house. >> Yes, you're free to go inside. Thank you. >> To come out. >> You are free to go inside the house. >> You cannot make it. >> I'm telling you, this is my last choice for you. You would go to jail. Go to jail. Go inside your house. My last time telling you you could go to jail. You could go to jail or go inside the house. Right now, you see all your neighbors you got out here because you're hooting and hollering up. Go walk over there and see if they're disturbing their peace. Cuz if they disturbing the piece and they file paper, you're going to jail. I'm letting you know that now. Sir, are they disturbing your piece? >> No, I'm not. I live right here. >> Live where? >> Right in this house. >> This house here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I don't know who you got in the car. If it's day, I find it hard to believe. >> You got such an attitude. >> Nobody has that. >> You know, you got your big attitude that absolutely do not. >> You keep saying something, you're going to jail. You're going to jail because you have a lawsuit against you. You can get in line. >> Get in line. >> You guys are all up in panties for no reason. >> No, I I'll wear panties. >> If they come back out onto the street, take your ass down. >> All that for a modified exhaust. As fate would have it, Fosan found himself in an elevator with Sergeant Bryant after a court date in August 2025 for the driver in the second incident. >> How long have you been an attorney? >> Um, >> you seem a little green. Not not to not to call you out on it, but um since September, but I just started here this week. >> Yet again, Sergeant Bryant showed how unprofessional he can be. >> Modified exhaust, huh, guys? >> What's up? >> Modified exhaust. >> Ignore. >> You got your temper under control? >> Have a good day, sir. >> You got your temper under control? >> I'm going to have a good day. >> You're in a courthouse. I buy you. >> Don't advise me. [ __ ] >> I'm going to tell them. >> Tell them. Tell them. Tell them how you're a crooked [ __ ] cop, too. Yeah. Point to me. Point to me. Do something. I'm going to come with you guys. Yeah. You're a crooked ass cop. >> I can do whatever the [ __ ] I want, bro. >> The officers leave through the court's entrance, but Fosan quickly catches up with them. >> Have you got your temper under control? Your temper? Have you got it under control, you piece of [ __ ] >> Laugh it up. >> Yeah, I am. >> Yeah. Laugh it up. Yeah. Yeah. Yuck it up. Yeah. Smile it up. You're real tough, aren't you? You're real tough, aren't you? Beating up on the people to pay your salary. You're real tough. You're a real tough guy, aren't you? Smile it up. You're not You're not intimidating anybody, buddy. >> You're a piece of You're a domestic terrorist, just like your scumbag buddy here. >> Don't worry, I'll follow you to your car, too, you piece of [ __ ] >> Modified exhaust. You [ __ ] scumbags. You get a sidewalk. >> You [ __ ] scumbag pieces of [ __ ] Yeah. Hop in the back like a [ __ ] See you later, scumbag. Yeah, you. [ __ ] you, scumbags. Hey, off scumbags. >> Unaware that he was being filmed, as Sergeant Bryant pulls out, he aims his cruiser at Fotion and accelerates, stopping with little room to spare. Are youing serious, bro? >> As the title of Fosun's video suggests, this type of driving often leads to an officer involved shooting when roles are reversed. >> This may look like a scene out of an action movie, but this is real. That is a cop on the hood of a suspect's car aiming his gun at the windshield telling the driver to stop, but the guy speeds off with the officer still on the hood. As the car moves forward, Officer McCarti climbs onto the hood. >> Stop the car. >> Are youing serious, bro? >> Longwood Police Department. >> They're horrible. You seen that, right? >> A moment later, Fosan catches up with the cruiser again. >> Learn how to drive, you piece of [ __ ] Modified exhaust, huh? You got that lesson down, Pat? You're a scumbag. Terrorizing the community, huh? Terrorizing the community. [ __ ] you, [ __ ] you. >> The modified exhaust citation was dismissed and the charges for failure to obey and resisting were both withheld. However, for the first encounter, court records show that she was charged with no proof of insurance, driving with high beams, failure to display registration, and resisting without violence. It appears she was offered a plea deal and all charges were dropped except resisting to which she was sentenced to a fine and 11 hours of community service. >> Get out of the vehicle. Get on the ground. >> I am uncertain of whether a complaint or lawsuit was ever filed. Currently, we're waiting on the use of force and incident reports, but Longwood is taking their time. It's likely that Sergeant Bryant was never reprimanded or even called out for blatantly lying about his reasons behind attacking a 5'2 lb woman. And he is almost certainly not on Florida's Brady list despite his dishonesty. So, I'd like to know what you think. Be sure to check out Twisted Luck Truth and this is a public service for future updates on these cases.
