was a passenger in a car the car took
off towards an elementary school in a
dangerous manner noticing the officer
had spotted him the suspect fled from
the car right into the local elementary
school the officer gave chase through an
active elementary school with students
staff and parents all within the area
Nieto was eventually taken into custody
by the officer and it was a discover he
was armed with a loaded gun officers
secured the elementary school to protect
the citizens we go now to the lapel

other people

there let's do the jacket and minun I
don't know it's a strawberry all right
final liens nut with there you go
perfect
sorry buddy I know it's cold look up for
me so I could get it
even when they think there's a hole
right here bro so it's gonna be up I
know it's cuz like whatever you guys
pulled it out it was already out so I
get to get way in
sup man good
I'm live doesn't have to be hey boss if
I could see your video what happened do
all right that's scary because I've
known him to carry on me at the time
dirty real quickly before yeah yeah so I
saw him over off of Avalon and yucca
okay and rear passenger seat I turned
around around that area and then got
behind the vehicle started driving
suspicious but I couldn't catch up to me
carelessly so I was going officer lanes
speeding and so I couldn't get behind it
I call out what they did and what I'm
behind the vehicle right about there
because I get eyes on it again it pulls
into the lava land elementary school
here I like today my lights I know I
activated my camera at some point but it
might have been while I was in the chase
cuz as soon as i activate my lights
maybe in it though jumps out of the rear
passenger seat takes off running another
female takes out off out of the vehicles
that Gabe has in custody my keep eyes on
the auto because I know him to have a be
on the top 15 I've dealt with him
numerous times so I chased him through
the school he takes a right at the a
high building over there into the school
yard cuts through the school yard comes
about right there between that barrack
and that gate it's a it's closed off
over there so he notices that and
he's breathing I give commands to get on
the ground get on the ground
I believe that's what I said I'll have
to review it and he's not following
commands notice the the bulge in his
pants at this point I'm I'm armed with
the Taser side tase him and I call
following commands see that bolt worried
that he's going to go for it
known him to carry firearms before on
cases that I've done against him and
that I've been involved in with he's
been on with a gun I applied the Taser
get him onto the ground he advised me
that he has a gun in his front waistband
pull out the gun put it behind me in
order to secure him I secure him and
then and then after securing him I did
have a second deployment accidental I
thought I was touching the top released
portion of it okay
I know and I have my hands on the
cartridges to to pull them out thinking
I was releasing it but there in the same
proximity so I hit the spark one spark
button which tased myself and yet though
apologized turned it completely off this
time so it wouldn't be another
deployment pulled out my cartridge get
all that all right
and you activated it twice so yes it was
twice once which I got good contact
where he fell to the ground okay and
then the second time was okay even
checked out my rescue just a little
worked up I mean well you want to get
checked out real quick I should be fine
if you have some water - okay
I can get you some water hey you guys
got any water okay can I get you to show
me your video and it's 43 RT okay just
because he's a little sticking up from
the tasing so you didn't get prong
deployment did you know it was okay do
you want medical to check you out
at this point in time um if some if your
question goes down what's my adrenaline
goes down to my Eccleston I can have him
come check you out man it's better to be
safe than sorry
you mean I'm come the adrenaline is
still pretty high I guess if you have
them check okay
PRT Templi can I give 43 back out here
reference a 30 year-old male conscious
and breathing effects from the Taser
just get it going real quick and then
there was a show-off do you know what
he's also forced as I pulled out my gun
in his okay
knowing him to have the Warrenton okay
okay let me okay he wants to get checked
he's just he's really shaken up by I
just want to get he just yeah so he said
he wants the Medical Academy equip um he
jus custom-ordered Lena no pain
all right make sure you guys aren't
talking about these for all right
today's date is Wednesday January 29th
time is personal leave 5:56 p.m. at the
Southwest substation connecting an
interview reference an incident that
occurred today
once it
hey Jerry this is kind of a formality
trust and I'm gonna read you your rights
okay so that you understand them you
have the right to remain silent anything
you say can and will be used against you
in a court of law you have the right to
talk to a lawyer and have him present
with you while you're being questioned
if you cannot afford to hire a lawyer
one will be a plant represent you before
any questioning if you wish you can
decide at any time to exercise these
rights and not answer any questions or
make any statements do you understand
each of these rights as I've explained
them - yes
having those rights at my neighbor's to
speak with us not graduate you get up
here
let's start with today's business what
were you guys doing where are you coming
from in the car who's who's driving
hey angel we weren't we've already
talked to everybody so we're just asking
you about these are questions we know
the answers to we're just trying to see
your everybody on the honest ok the
stuff this is Carly okay so was you who
is this v-mail
do you know my name no how long have you
known you owe me yeah what's his name
so wherever you guys your guys were
coming from water and getting dropped
off okay so you guys saw the officer
coming down
so behind you
that's good that's nice that's good that
you were concerned about the baby did
you tell her over to the point did you
tell her rewarding
yeah were was right here I reckon my
school okay
why just kidding
and you had you've been to that school
for did you or did you know that that's
the loser yeah okay new there so you
kind of had an idea or should say did
you have an idea is to like were you
wrong I didn't think you was gonna teach
me I said I'm just gonna like the team
across what's cool is it up I wasn't out
there south on television okay so when
you got out of the car you took over
running where did you go in school and
we're about seven school
and I'll hiraman you ready in the school
yeah
so you run into the school out of
another door yeah I ran in the school
like my Lincoln school real quickly in
and out over action and so you were
still on school property
yeah trying to get out of it the
playground or what that trap loved ones
an elementary school correct again
alright so once you go back outside on
school grounds and when you stopped
running
was there an officer minded yeah or did
he not run again I was reading oh man I
don't wanna get shot but only just like
panic he's all like you know there's
something and I just like my body froze
I didn't know anything okay so when you
got to taste what did you tell the
awesome
there's a bulge oh my gosh right there
turning on a lake because I kidding my
right arm is my den my left
okay so right after you got okay does
that your heart but it was clean
where'd you get the guns near the store
poncho with off the street
I'm Paris clean
are you going to miss me smile oh that's
what's missing
okay where are you staying on now I was
thinking oh my god grandma's house is
off of 50
oh so you get and you know that I forgot
about that you know that there you know
so you do whatever where you could kind
of get to all this pontiff
hey let me ask you this issue what did
you never know huh why did you know to
go
why did you left in the car know what
why I would go period
honestly I was gonna leave in the car
resume together Thank You kid it was it
was in the glove compartment whether
were the bullets in the magazine oh yeah
I'm gonna do exactly that
what kind of
okay that's a small do you like dude
can't afford fight they have different
back please patella hi Jeff long
afternoon
so really
so you said you don't remember what does
that sign fire so have you know
so you got arrested back in February you
wish to know you wanna you got arrested
I see August Sebastian Deckert and you
got taken NBC oh yeah whenever I tell
myself how long did you do
whoa I just been on the safety for PVC
the last couple months I have this my
first is a car long time it has BPD like
this time there PP but I got panicked
cuz last time big draw yeah we got bb's
for you all right I'm on my way to go
get er s and stuff so I ain't doing my
short something got arrested
well actually no first throwing if you
got PBS we're gonna give you it seed a
kick-out that's like close like I'm
alone get back get out for free you
start off with your life honey
and then I went and then both would a
year or unexpected something
so I'm adding that font like that
hospitality my skill they go easy I'm
all for it and then what they gave me
here but then the way they gave you with
maybe speaking me a year for not
participating in the TV program so I we
went to ye see you guys tomorrow I'm not
just gonna get take this you're so mean
fall free and I got a registration and I
got on probation and I supposed to get
off February 10th
get off pivot read but then I guess the
video with me later
yeah so so mrs. Meighan you just said I
didn't want to do a year you hired an
attorney right you fought to not go to
jail for a year I ain't got me beat and
they're all dharmo come back to our
world
we'll give you PBS we're gonna give you
50 days let me that's what they told me
dad and I was like and then I like
you're just gonna try to give me dirty
yeah thank you
anymore so I dipped out that's my I dip
down and then I've been in contact my
lawyer this whole time I've been on the
run so we've been trying to work out -
we're kind of workouts yet my juvenile
cases - one of them move to adult so it
can be a misdemeanor and we could work
out from there instead begin to do with
how that's worked out so that's what
we've been working out on that per day
and she said just give me so when you
got a book back in August they took an
NBC correct yet okay for him to see
where did you go from that do you spend
your whole time in okay so when was that
when did you get out of a long word
you're in why did you see let's say you
were like too much so you got a October
ish somewhere in there probably okay
then I was on the ankle bracelet for how
spirits for
my god and then I got off and then I got
shot and then they put me back on it
and I've been on it I got a few there's
nothing so after you got out of whitey
BC they put you on a table water yeah
I've been I think evasive the most
attack you for help
how long was that just an ankle bracelet
after you got out I hope most of my time
today so I want to talk about
[Music]
one of us tell you I have information
that you were out of residence up there
back in November was that about standing
right now some two months ago
yeah and they can prove that you aren't
in the area or on that side you're
pretty sure positive
you know anybody regard to the truck and
truck come on brother so that I know you
so right here's the deal
we and we're still waiting for the
neighborhood video footage to come back
to see if they were able to pick up the
vehicle as well as person that went to
the door of the instead is talking about
okay so it was somebody that when you're
broke it's a tough chick down the door
woman's house was again so this guy by
yourself
right now we just got information saying
you may have been up there
yeah you guys again you're going to
contact my probation officers and master
the tracks reliable and dad's that
because I appreciate Bill Gates it's you
never knew and you guys should be like a
that the lose review I have a train
hockey in their hand absolutely good
don't want to lose your beer is named
upon sir so that was your time so Aaron
I can tell you this we have a positive
so you were picked out of a photo lineup
so with that and once we do the video
and you get my tracks today here's a
problem the tracks long ways that you
can you can keep that from being finally
while you're out doing dirt so but so
that that's not going to clear you yeah
well that's what I'm saying
those are always a hundred percent as
far as for us in our cases because there
are ways to make you to be able to alter
that see you guys can
okay so here's a camera here's the thing
keep in mind you're saying I hadn't on
most of the time so that means there
were periods when it wasn't charged
right so can you say it over simple but
I can't just take it off myself it stays
off yeah so when you're saying that was
almost of time well what I meant is
because they took it off that period of
time because those do it good when I say
most of the time but then after that
about shot they got put back on did you
use up so how many we talked for
probably like a week yeah I see I think
I might not shop
Oh
I think I'm one of those shot in that
direction
well I can tell you I'm 95% sure so let
me ask you this okay so how do you got
another why do you see they put you on
ankle monitor great yeah
so that was October ish let's say right
okay cuz you got arrested in the
Congress you said a couple months and
why do you see let's say October
sometime they put you on an ankle
monitor how long did you have that shot
before I'm promising most how much
offensively let's give you guys more
something go figure
Lego that appeals for tractors I did not
really like these are most recent you
know those are all for my field
yeah okay
Kate Hopkins Oh
Tomas I don't know the last nice person
a brother and his lost numbers yet don't
know he knows first thing tomorrow
first name is yeah I don't know was
first announced his first things the
most article is vastly Barbera and I
think it's like it's like a weird I wish
you could get ahold of the other ones
that don't need yeah but hasn't the one
that is the track so that's the most
let me know more what happened then
Vincent why are you worried about of you
to do it cuz I want to know what late
let me second dose I can tell my lawyer
so we go fight there's room for everyone
so I can turn it there enough we're
still working through that it's possible
tell me I'm not gonna logically it sure
that's all
what I tell you a little bit ago about
to brother so I said from now hey you
can do it that's why you're so worried
about keep asking this is this all and
all it is now I'm just I'm just
surprised is like I got a pretty rose
nobody so no I just seemed to like
something from my back
oh my god I think you go like I should
adjust for mistake there but I did
[Music]
select late but they are I'm still going
to general the way least I can say that
I did chains and well yeah man it's hard
to that's hard to see it change when
we're sitting across the table from you
yeah yeah yeah sooo much I'm carrying
your gun again you good night good night
okay one question are you supposed to
cure now this has my state I'm not
supposed to so that's where it ends
right there
right pass that man you talk about
protection quit putting yourself in
positions where you need to have a gun
for protection quit hanging out with
people that put you in positions where
you need a gun
it's simple bro this is the same rocket
science right millions of people every
day go do their business without having
to worry about any of that stuff you
know
to me I really do
all right welcome to this interview at
6:25
