Today we're checking out two body cams. The first one, girl crashes her car, then bites hospital security. And then right after, we're going to be checking out drunk rich woman puts a 20-year-old in a coma. Let's get started with the first one. >> On January 5th, 2025, deputies with the Pulk County Sheriff's Office responded to a call from a homeowner that stated there was a car that had obviously been in a crash that parked in their driveway and they wanted them gone. >> What's your name? Monique, how's it going? >> What's What's going on today? >> Huh? >> What's going on today? What happened to your vehicle? >> It's It's definitely been a long day. Okay. >> Yeah, >> but my my vehicle is fine. Um I was just hoping that I get some assistance. That's it. >> Your vehicle may be fine, but your face is not. That thing look smashed in. What? like you've been fighting Clarissa Shields or something. >> You were what? >> I was just hoping I can get some assistance. >> Some assistance. Okay. >> Yeah, that that was I've I've definitely having a long day. My my camera just died. It's it's it's been a long day. Okay. It's It's been a long day. >> Yeah. Sorry to hear that. >> It's It's been a long day, but >> if you guys could just get me home. >> Okay. Yeah, we're going to work on that. Have >> you point >> How much did you had to drink tonight? Um, I probably had like a a shot or two. >> A shot of what? >> I'm going to lie to you. Um, I had uh donio. >> Dolio. >> Okay. How long ago was that? Do you know? >> So, right now it's 3:41 a.m. >> So, it's been like 11. >> I I >> 11. Okay. >> Yeah. I went out at 11:00 and the bar closed at 2:00. So, >> two. Where were you drinking at? >> Um, I was drinking at a couple different places. >> Where at? >> My first place was the the yacht. >> Okay. >> But I was not under at all. >> Gotcha. Okay. So, from a scale from 0 to 10, 10 being the highest number, if you could tell me like how intoxicated you think you are today. So, I'd give you a like a a two. >> Like a two. Two. >> Oh, hell no. A two. Come on, man. We did a case like this similar to this. Not where someone used a similar excuse where it was like pretty much along the lines of um she went out, but she's trying to say that she drank before going out, so she didn't have any drinks at the bar. Who goes to the bar to not drink? You know what I mean? Like, it doesn't even make sense. What are you doing? Just just going to the bar and ordering a Sprite? Like, no. Okay. No, you're going there to drink. And this is what this same lady saying. She's saying, "Yeah, I went out at 11. She had a shot of Don Julio." Whatever. One shot. The bar closes at two. So, you bar hopping just drinking what? Lemonade. Ginger ale three. >> Yeah, cuz I literally just started running. Like no [ __ ] Like I if I was drunk and couldn't handle myself, I would tell you, but I literally just started running. Like no [ __ ] >> Okay. Do you are you taking any any prescribed medicine or anything like that? >> No. Okay. So with you, >> I am super cold. >> Oh yeah. I was going to say so with you having a couple donio shots, right? Like you said, >> I didn't you can take me. You can do whatever you want. Gotcha. So with you taking those shots, right, and then >> opening a motor vehicle in driving, >> right? And also you telling me that you're like a number two, right? You think that was a good idea? >> I don't want I I I trust me. I I understand. >> Okay. >> I understand. So whatever you have to do, just >> Well, we're going to have some medics check you out first. Okay. >> That That's fine. >> Your face is all bloody. So they're walking up the driveway right now. >> Okay, that's fine. Do you recall how you crashed your vehicle? >> I just told you. >> Can you tell me again? >> Uh, I just I >> So, I was driving and I So, I wear glasses originally. >> Okay. >> So, I do wear glasses. Um, I I have something with standing like my my tinos and hand in my balance. So, I do wear glasses. Okay. >> Um, you can check >> on pictures. >> That's fine. >> I will. >> No, you're fine. >> How am I? >> Okay. >> I just lost control. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I was I I just didn't have my glasses on. >> Okay. >> Like I said, I like Good. P. You want to be? >> Okay. So, we got minutes. All right. >> So, we're just going to check you out, make sure that you're good. >> Okay. >> Hi. How's it going? >> Are you going to be on my way? >> Yeah, you're good. >> Okay. >> No, I'm I'm literally my board. >> Okay. Well, you don't look fine. >> You know where you are right now? >> Yes. >> Okay. Where are you? >> I don't know what I'm >> Okay. You're actually in someone's driveway. Okay. So, do you want to go with me to my ambulance so we can check you out? You're >> kind of >> cuz I guess what? I don't have money. So, pay for you or your >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Uh, >> sorry. What was that? >> Okay. >> Okay. Um, >> I'm not medicate. I don't have nothing to care. >> She's here, right? >> I think so. I don't have nothing to freak her. I don't I don't I I truly don't >> for for us to look at you in the ambulance. It It doesn't cost you anything. >> If you want to look at me, you can. But I'm telling you that I don't have money to pay for you. I don't. I really I owe you guys over $6,000. I don't have nothing to look at. >> Isn't that crazy how much And this is going to go off a little topic or whatever. I mean, but isn't it crazy how there are some people out there in the world that you know are in the United States and there's a lot of people that may not necessarily be able to afford health care help be able to afford that type of stuff. Um, you know, whether they qualify, don't qualify, whatever the situation is. Or maybe they have a plan, but still their their deductibles is so crazy that it don't even matter. you know what I mean? Like, and you can't get checked out because you could clearly see that this lady, um, you know, she's hurt, but her first concern really is like, yo, you want to check me out, but I I don't have the money to pay for that, like, you know, and it's [sighs] feel feel got to feel for him, you know, cuz that, you know, things are so expensive. And then you look at other countries where it's like like Canada for example it's it's free you know healthcare it's free you know um but anyway let's keep rolling so >> I I so we understand right the expenses but right now we're just concerned about your wellbeing. >> Don't please please please can I ask you one please don't don't close your eyes please. >> Okay. Yeah. No that's fine. >> Like a criminal please. >> Oh okay. >> Please don't do that. >> Gotcha. Don't do that. Please take it off. Take it off. >> So, we need to be able to see. That's why I have it on. >> I understand that. >> Right. It's super dark, so I can't I can't do that. I can put it down. Is that okay? Is that better? >> Don't take it in my eyes. >> Gotcha. There you go. >> Thank you. >> What happened to your windshield? >> So, I I pulled in here >> and there was something that I didn't see. >> Okay. And that's what it was. >> Okay. Um, >> well, our ambulance is backing up now. You want to go get him in, Matt? >> Yeah. >> I mean, you guys can't >> Right. We just We just want to get you in the warmth and check you out. Make sure you don't have any like really bad injuries. It won't cost you anything just for us to look. It only costs money if we'd leave with you. >> No. Okay. Uh, we got to wait for our chief to cuz he's command right now. Is he Is he here or >> Yeah, he's here at 3:30. >> No, past 9. >> Um, it sounds like she's going to refuse. >> I'm going to refuse it. I just want you. >> No, that's what it is when you when you don't want to go with us or anything. It's a refusal. So, we just got to have our chief kind of look at you and he'll make the final determination what happens. Um, Matt, you sit with her. I'll talk to you real quick. >> What? What did you hear? >> So, that's what we're trying to figure out. You see where that squad car is over there? Yeah. >> So, there's like >> were saying there might be something underneath the ditch that you might hit. >> Okay. So, >> because that's where the the you get the uh tire marks all the way from over there goes into the ditch. They come back out and you pull in here. >> All right. And obviously you probably know how to do it better than me, but everything I'm seeing, she's Yeah, most definitely. Slow speed or >> I haven't had to deal with this yet. didn't know if since we're here, you need me to be like, "Yep." >> She did stated that she drank her to take two shots of the wheel around 11 p.m. >> She's got good taste. >> But she Yeah. And you can still smell the somewhat of an alcoholic beverage coming out her breath. >> So, there's definitely more than two shots. She said that she was gone. She went to several bars. >> See, the problem is she needs to go to the hospital. >> Yeah. Um, and if we try to argue with her, she seems like she's going to get bullied trained. So, >> yeah, >> that's why I'm going to wait for my chief. >> Yeah. Um, I'm not very good at arguing with >> Yeah. See, you know, yeah, she got to go to the hospital, but now she in she going to be in medical debt. You know what I mean? Like, it's like, nah, I'm good. I'm good, man. I listen. I'm good. I go home, clean it off, man. Clean it off. Cuz y'all not about to charge me $15,000 for some for a couple of hours for a night. What a ambulance ride is like I am Ambulance Rod is probably around six 600 700. It got to be at least $600. Ambulance rod, all of that. Like, nah, I'm good. >> Patience. All right. What >> What you guys got? >> Uh, basically her her face is real bloody. >> Can't she walk? >> She's refusing to get out of the car. >> She's She said she's >> probably >> Did she get out of the car now? >> Not that I wasn't I was not the first responding officer, >> but no, I don't think she has not at all. >> Okay. Has she admitted to being intact? >> Yes. >> Yeah, she >> All right, here's the deal. >> You're telling me you're in cars? You don't have a choice. You're going to get out of this car. Get in my ambulance. >> Give me one second. >> That's where we're going to go. Okay. >> Where you at? >> Come on. Step on out. >> Not that I didn't want to. >> We're going to get in the ambulance. Okay. >> Oh my god. This is rude. >> Well, we've been here for several minutes. >> Okay. You know what? You want to get on an I don't >> I'm playing games. >> Okay. You don't want to play [ __ ] games. >> I got to let my people know where I was at. >> Ma'am, are you hurt anywhere? >> No, I'm not. >> It look like it. >> You hurt anywhere? >> No. >> No. Where? >> Your You got a lot Your face got a lot of blood in there. A a lot of blood is It's nowhere in here. >> Can you slide this arm under your jacket? >> No you. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm not being with you. I swear I'm not with you. >> Hey. >> All right. Can you help me at least? >> I'm just going to go on your arm. Okay. We just got to get a blood pressure. Make sure you're okay. >> That's fine. >> All right. >> Just act like I'm dying back here. >> Well, we don't know. >> Oh, are you? >> Yeah. We're not. We're going to let you. >> No, no, no, no. I'm not going to the hospital. Regardless, I'm going to tell you guys right now. I swear to God, I'm my dead brother. I'm not going to hospital. >> We have to take you to the hospital because we need some blood. >> You just did everything. >> I'm not going. You have to go. >> I got to pee. I rely on I'm not going. >> You can pee at the hospital, but we have stuff we have to do. Do you think you >> pull? Well, you need to pull it right here. Well, I I >> I'm going to call my ride and I'm going to go on my day. You're not taking me to the hospital. You're not I don't need hospital treatment. >> So, you're not taking >> I'm not saying you need it, but we have to accept our side. Okay. >> I got You guys have to be first of all. >> Thank you. >> All right. We're going to get out of here. You guys can talk to me for I'm not Don't take me. >> Don't touch. >> Okay, let's go get your stuff by the car then. >> No, I don't. Don't touch nothing in the car. Don't touch nothing. >> Then come get it for us. >> I don't need nothing. >> You can't leave the car here. >> I don't need nothing. I don't >> Your purse? >> Your phone? >> I wouldn't get it tomorrow. No, your car isn't going to be here tomorrow because the people don't want it here. It's going to get towed out. >> She said, "I'mma get it tomorrow." You in some random person uh parking lot. You like what? You in some random person driveway talking about I'mma get it tomorrow. Yeah. Okay. That joint go [laughter] Your car going to be long gone, man. >> Out of here. >> Okay. in the ambulance. >> I don't like going out there. >> There's nothing in there. You guys can at least do my phone in my purse. >> That's what we're trying to get you to do. Get out. >> Can you Can you give me something? >> Put your jacket on and go get your >> dude. There's nothing in there. >> I don't sell drugs. I don't >> I'm not worried about that. >> Okay. I'm asking you. Can you Can you please >> Yes, but I need you out of the ambulance to go in your car. >> I I will go right here and I'll watch you. Can you please go? >> She She knows she about to get locked up. That's why she don't want to be listen. That's why she don't want to listen to them. Soon as she step out, come on. Or grab your things, whatever. They going to lock you up. >> I'm not getting her car. I will get it for myself. I got to use the bathroom, you guys. >> There's no bathroom in here. >> I have to pee. I'm not. What do you want me to use? You don't have >> But you can't pee in here. >> Guess what? I'm I'm going to I'm going to break the laws in the worst papa squad. >> You've already done that. >> What I'm going to do is >> Don't do that. >> You want to take me to jail? >> For peeing. >> Am I going to take you to jail for peeing? >> Are you >> for peeing? >> Yes. >> Yes, it's illegal. >> Here. First. >> What I tell you? She already knew the lineup. She knew the lineup was coming. Soon as you step out, they going to lock you up, man. Come grab your phone. Come on. She knew to play. >> You will here in a second. I thought >> cops be so predictable, man. >> Yo, we'll grab >> Okay. No, get my phone out. >> I have it already. >> No, get it. Where is it at? Where >> he has it already? >> [ __ ] Okay, let's go. >> Yeah, you are getting tired. >> After being medically cleared from the hospital, the woman was transported to the Poke County Jail where she was booked and charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain control, interference with official acts, and assault on persons in certain occupations as she bit a hospital security guard off camera. if you enjoy the >> man. Damn. Damn. Damn. That was crazy. Yeah. So, we got the second one, man. Yo, [sighs] man. Let's get into this. Let's get into this second video, man. A drunk rich woman uh puts a 20-year-old in a coma. And let's see what they talking about, man. >> Yeah. Goodness gracious. Goodness gracious. She had to be freaking flying. The officer took one look at the crash and you could hear it in his voice. Shock, disbelief. Two cars completely destroyed. One slammed into a house, the other sitting in the street and nearby, the one person responsible for the mayhem, claimed she had no idea. >> What happened? >> I don't know. February 7th, 2023. In a quiet neighborhood in Norman, Oklahoma, when officers reached the victim's car, the [music] situation was already critical. 20-year-old Michaela Bargo was trapped inside. She couldn't speak. She could barely move. >> Wow. >> Single occupants. Oh, she's okay, but she's out of it over here. She doesn't Hello. >> Hello. Norman police. >> Can you hear me? >> She's out. You hear her snoring? Wow. >> She's not. No, I'm not talking. She's moving around and everything, but I'm not sure she's having like convulsions or >> bring my stretcher here. >> Oh, so she's she's breathing. She probably making no sounds. >> Officers could only observe slight movement from her hand and leg. The damage was severe. Her car had been hit so hard it was pushed off the road and into a house. >> God dang. Look at that. Look at this. What? The thing is dented in. >> Come on, man. Oh my goodness. You know how fast you got to be going? >> Nah, that's crazy. >> So hard it was pushed off the road and into a house. As officers processed the scene, they [music] moved to the other driver, Sarah Pollston, and she didn't have a lot to tell officers. It look like she don't even got a scratch. And that's how that's how it always be. the ones that actually commit the crimes or do the duty the hit, you know, they they go they they leave the accident unscathed, but the person that they hit be all jacked up, man. Dude, >> somebody got t-boned. >> This one got Looks like that one got t-boned. Where were they coming from? Coming across. White car was probably white car ran coming north. >> That's what it looks like. >> But this vehicle I mean Yeah. >> What happened? >> I don't know. >> Do you know which way you were going? >> I was going north. >> You were going north? >> Yes. Coming north. But other than that, you don't know. >> Yeah. >> So, she was going north. >> Yeah. >> Uh, possibly. >> She seems a little not in that much pain. >> Yeah. >> Which I mean that that could happen. >> Yeah. But pretty much >> Yeah. >> Glad no one's in this passenger seat. >> Driver passenger seat. >> Yeah. But I'm just saying, >> bro, if [clears throat] somebody was in that passenger seat, they're already up there on them heaven gates, man. They would have been out of here. They would have been gone. Gone. Out of here. See you. Afterlife. It's over. That passenger side looks insane, man. >> You didn't witness it, did you, sir? >> Wow. >> Golly, doesn't work. >> Were you being a nice guy and jumping this or am I taking it? Were you being a nice guy and taking it or am I taking it? >> No, I'm just asking. You jumped it. That's why I didn't know. >> Faster than you. >> Yeah, >> I knew you were. >> That's what I'm saying. >> I mean, I will. >> It might be. >> Or do we Do you want to >> Do we want to see if 88 first? >> Yeah, we can. >> We'll just attach everything and then if she's 88, then I'll for sure take the collision. Okay. >> You take that. >> You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. So, you're not here for crazy long. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Teamwork make the dream work, man. >> She's She's going to be a certain >> That seat belt was super loose on her. I don't know it worked right or it seems like I had a lot of slack in it. >> Is he going to follow the whole way? Pston told [music] officers she didn't know what happened, but the scene told a different story. >> She said she was northbound, right? She doesn't know >> black vehicle. I asked her, I said I said, "What happened?" She goes, "Uh, the only thing I can remember is I was northbound." I said, "That's all you can remember?" She goes, "Yeah, northbound." And that's all I talked to her because once I figured out she was the cause of the wreck, I'm like, goodness gracious, she had to be freaking flying. Witnesses and evidence showed Polston had been speeding through the neighborhood around 66 mph in a 25 mph zone. She had blown through multiple stop signs before crashing directly into Berago's car as officers [music] continued piecing things together. More details came out. Pston had been drinking earlier that day. She admitted to having margaritas at lunch. She had even stopped at a liquor store afterward. Also, inside her SUV, officers found a bottle of tequila. test later showed that her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit and [music] there was marijuana in her system. Fortunately, the crash changed the victim's life completely. She fell into [music] a coma that lasted 2 months. When she woke up, she had a traumatic brain injury, a stroke, multiple fractures to >> Oh my yo. [snorts] Oh wow. 20 years old, man. Yo, this Oh my goodness. 20 years old in all of this brain injury, suffered a stroke, multiple fractures to her spine, body, and that lady got to get some serious time, man. I'm talking 15 or better, man. But it seems like vehicular stuff, you don't really get no time like that for vehicular stuff. Like, you know, vehicular, you know, homicide, you don't get no time for that for real. But man, yo, I mean, I know this ain't a homicide case, but I'm just saying. Yeah. With car accidents, people don't even get no time for real. This is sad. 20 years old, man. She her life is just starting just starting. She can't even drink yet. >> Her spine and body, brain swelling, and internal bleeding. She had to relearn [music] how to walk and how to speak. Doctors said her life expectancy had [music] been shortened and she would need lifelong care. Years later, in October of 2025, Pston pleaded guilty. She was charged with felony DUI causing great bodily injury. In December of 2025, >> what you think? What you think? What you think? I say she got to get 15 plus. I ain't going to lie. But I know that's not going to happen. So I'mma say I'mma say for this five years. I say five years. You know, ladies don't really get no much time. And you know, in general, DUI, they don't get no time. For real. I'mma say five years. But really, she should get 15 though. She should get 10 to 10. At least 10. >> A judge sentenced her to 15 years, but she was only >> ah 15. Okay. >> Wired to serve 8 years in prison. The rest was suspended. Even then, her defense had pushed for no prison time at all, pointing to a $5 million settlement paid to the victim's family. But it didn't end there. Pollston didn't serve eight years. She didn't even serve one year. She was released after just 73 days. That's about 2.5% of her sentence. Instead of prison, she was placed on home confinement with a GPS monitor. Officials said she qualified under state law. And at the time, Oklahoma allowed certain inmates convicted of DUI to be transferred to home monitoring early. But critics said this case didn't feel normal because everything moved unusually fast. She was transferred through the system quicker than most inmates. And while in custody, reports claimed she received special treatment, including access to an iPad outside normal rules, flexibility with housing, and even outside food brought in. A grand jury investigation later uncovered something else. Phone records showed that her husband, a wealthy attorney, had multiple calls with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stit 16 calls in total after her guilty plea. One of those calls happened just 2 hours before her early release was approved. There were also conversations suggesting [music] efforts to influence how her sentence was handled. The grand jury didn't find criminal wrongdoing, but they [music] did say the situation showed clear signs of political favoritism. So, they recommended charges [music] to prevent something like this from happening again. This included requiring inmates to serve a minimum portion of their sentence before early release. A young woman's life permanently changed and a sentence that to many didn't match the damage done. Because while the victim spent months in a coma, the person responsible spent just over 2 months in prison. And that's what's left people asking, "Was this justice or something else entirely?" This is This is what I'm talking about, man. They don't serve no time. No time. If that's me, I'm getting 15. That's why 15 stuck into my head cuz I look at it, okay, if it's a regular DUI, stuff like that, you going to get no time, you know, nothing. But if somebody dying or great bodily harm, you know, she went into a coma, she needs long-term care, all of that stuff, that to me is telling me, yo, I wouldn't be I anything less than 15 is a slap in the face, I truly think. But then I had to think to myself, well, you know, the ladies get less time, you know, than men, so I can't judge it like the men. And then I'm like, h well, you know, these types of crimes in general don't even get that much time for real. So I'm like, uh, all right, at least five. At least five years. But really, I think she should get 15. That's why I was saying 15. 15. You get 15 years and then you get you only have to do eight out of the 15. The rest you do eight and the rest is suspended on the back and it so if you get in trouble you know something like that but you don't even do the eight two months 70 days in jail and this this 20 year old life is over. It's over. It's a wrap. This [ __ ] is sick, man. It's a nasty, nasty, cold world, man. Cold. Looking for answers as the world goes by. Watching the reality hit the screen. >> The craziest moments that you've ever seen. Captured full time.
