I got this little gem for you. >> Hi. How are you? >> Good. Who are you all with? Who are you all videoing for? >> We don't ask We don't ask questions. We just taking video and of the facility. >> This is a secure facility, so >> The inside. The sign is right here where it says restricted area. That means past that secure point. This is a South Carolina National Guard Armory. That means that this is owned by the state. That means that this is public property. He even admitted that the lobby in this building is publicly accessible. Do not try to stand on my rights, man. >> And don't kid yourself. This cop knows all this. She's just trying to exert her authority. Or on the other side of it, she's too stupid to discover the facts and realize that she's on the wrong side of even her own law, but she's still going to try to steamroll this guy anyway. >> I'm a National Guardsman myself, so I know very well that this is public property. I have every reason to be here. I haven't broken the law. I haven't violated any provisions of South Carolina code or federal code. You have no jurisdiction to ask for my ID, ask what I'm doing here, or tell me to leave. >> Wow. That is the way you do it. I would love to see her eyes. >> We're just here to take a photographs and videos of this fine building and the people that happen to come out and talk to us. That's the only thing we're doing. Thank you. >> What is your name? >> Right here. >> Is that what you would tell the judge? >> What? >> That your name is right here? >> Why can't they just say their names? Why? I mean I don't You You would think they went to school. Okay, now if anybody asks what your ID is, take your index finger and point to your name badge and say, "Right here." They all do it. I mean are they learning from YouTube videos or is this like like being a cat? You don't have to learn how to meow, you're a cat and so you just meow. You're a cop and you just say, "Oh, what's my name and badge number? Right here." Really bizarre, man. They all do the same thing the exact same way. Let's listen to it again. >> that happen to come out and talk to us. That's the only thing we're doing. Thank you. >> What is your name? >> Right here. >> Is that what you would tell the judge? >> Right here, look at your finger is still on her badge. >> What? >> That your name is right here? >> So we can call you over. >> your badge number? >> What if we can't read? Do you know the What is it? The disabled persons act? >> Well, listen. >> What is your badge number? >> They signed in and walked out of that building behind me, called me here. >> Why? >> Because you're videoing a secure facility. >> against the law to video? >> To video? >> We've already established and you agreed that the secureness of the the building is inside of the building. >> you do realize >> I mean, you can ask us questions, but I mean, we don't have to answer. >> you an example. I haven't asked anybody for ID, so all that is on video. Well, they did. Well, I didn't. Let me give you an example. You go to the Savannah River site. You go within 5 mi of that place, you have a helicopter over head. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> They have that right. >> They have >> So what? That doesn't make what you did right. You actually used your badge and your authority and you misused your power and you tried to intimidate somebody into thinking that they were doing wrong when they weren't. >> That's right. So, they called me here >> for a constitutionally protected activity, which >> She doesn't even sound You know, there's certain people it sounds like they they, you know, it's reasonable to believe that they would be a cop. She doesn't even convince me that she's a cop. >> It's ironic because they're military personnel that's supposed to protect the constitution. So why are they trying to stop us from exercising our rights? >> Oh, I mean, what What >> Are we still in America? Do we Do we still have freedom of the press? >> What organization are y'all with if you don't mind me asking? >> journalists. We don't have to work for an organization to exercise our rights. >> What's it called? >> Federal journalists. >> Uh What's the independent >> told you. We're just independent. We're just We have freedom of the press. Anyone can work in a story and >> Y'all are being argumentative. I was called here. I was not >> Well, well, you're the you're the one with a gun here. >> And that's what it always comes down to. If your logic assails my nonsense, you're being argumentative, and the conversation's over it. Typically, it comes down to that. >> argumentative. I was called here. >> Well, well, you're the You're the one with a gun here. We have cameras. You know, we >> But, y'all I have a camera, too. I just have two. It's in my car, too. >> Good. Good. That's you know, it's That makes it even more hypocritical cuz you, a person with a gun and a camera, are telling other people with cameras that they can't be here recording in a public place. >> We're just We're just working on a story. >> I mean, I was just >> Are we still So, can you can Can you please inform these gentlemen over here that, you know, it is a publicly accessible area? We have the right to enter the public lobby. So, we just want to take pictures of their lobby and the trophies and everything on the wall. We're working on a story. That's it. As soon as we got here, they They closed the building. What if I'm interested in becoming a National Guard? You know? That's That's the first That's That's the first treatment we get as soon as we get here? >> I'm not National Guard. >> I know, you're police officer, so enforce >> Guard. I was doing my job. They asked me to come here because they didn't know why y'all were here. >> Well, they did. >> We They did. We told them. >> Okay. >> We We told them. They're They're just wasting taxpayers' money by calling you over here. You should be looking for a guy with a gun, not a guy with a camera. >> And after we left >> She sounds more like a high school cheerleader who should be wearing or donning pom-poms instead of a cop who's got a gun. >> explain to you what we were doing instead of just what? >> And not to be outdone, there's these badged and uniform yahoos. >> Can I help you with something? >> Oh, I'm just curious what y'all are hunting today. >> How you doing? >> Good. >> Can I help you with something? >> Oh, I'm just curious what y'all are hunting today. >> We're not. >> No, I'm just out camping. >> Have a nice day. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Have a good one. >> You too. >> [laughter] >> What was your name and badge number? >> He's on training. >> He's on training? >> Yeah, he doesn't He He He thinks he's He's trying to talk to everybody. >> Okay? >> And I'm trying not to talk to anybody. >> Okay. >> Cuz it's my right. >> Yeah, it is. >> And you guys don't have the right to come up to people that aren't obviously hunting. But But I get it. I don't want to start an argument with you. He's a rookie, okay. You You have no reasonable suspicion to come up to me. >> You're in >> I'm an attorney. >> You're in the national forest, we can come talk to you. >> No, you can't. I'm an attorney. What's your name and badge number? >> Officer Portal, 328. >> Thank you. We're We're not hunting. We're about to leave. Have a nice day. >> But we can talk to We can come up and >> And I can ignore you, just like I did, right? >> You're not ignoring us. >> I ignored him, right? >> Kind of. >> Okay. Okay. I I can play the game, too. >> I'm just No No reason to to get all >> Right. Actually, there Actually, there is. There's cops standing in front of me at 7:00 a.m. for no reason. >> You're in national forest. >> Your fishing game. >> We're a state certified peace officer. >> Guess what? You also are. >> See, that's interesting. That he called himself a peace officer, and if you were going to do it the right way, first of all, you wouldn't be funded through extortion, the extortion of the state. You wouldn't have a monopoly and force and violence because you would accept competition in the security field, and cops don't allow that. And what The problem here is when you are acting as law enforcement, but then you say you're a peace officer, but you do the opposite of overseeing and ensuring peace, you've got a hypo- hypocritical and ironic problem here. That's what we're seeing across the nation because it's severe cognitive dissonance where you're actually saying that we're here to serve and protect you, and yet you initiate harm, violence, brutality, theft, and economic terror- terrorism on the rest of us in the name of that protection and service. >> I'm on my land. >> It's my land, too. >> So you So So I have the right to be offended that you're standing here asking me questions with no reason. Does it look like I'm hunting? >> I'm just asking you a question. >> That's what I'm saying. >> I mean, we can walk around your camp with no the no issues. You're on forest. >> Mhm. You can get sued, too. >> I can't go on your stuff, but I can walk around. >> That's what I'm saying. But you can't But not without reasonable suspicion. You can't just pull up to my camp and walk around. >> Uh yeah, I can. >> No, you can't. >> It's forest >> Do you have reasonable suspicion to believe I'm hunting? You could now I'll I'll I'll agree I'll agree that you could do that if I'm hunting. If you if you if you if you if you see mountain bikes, okay, you can't. If you see hunting, you can. You do not have unauthor- un- unchecked power to just walk into people's camps at any time. >> Yeah, we do. >> Not in the national forest. >> Yes, we do. >> On state land, you do. Dude, all right, so now I'm going to have to turn this thing you're you're going to be on my YouTube. >> Have a great day. >> to get my calls. I'm going to make a formal complaint against you. >> So, what's the answer to that? Can a fish and game officer walk into your camp if he doesn't reasonably suspect that you're involved in committing a crime? >> And what was your badge number? >> I'm Officer Riley, but badge 455. >> We're just trying to be cordial. That's all we're trying to do here. >> Uh coming up to people >> They always say that. We're just being nice. We're being cordial. I'm having a respectful conversation with you. Yeah, yeah, you just got done intimidating us because you come with the implied threat of force and violence. We know what you guys are about, so you're not just being a nice guy. You're not just trying to have a cordial conversation. That's a lie. >> And telling them how you think you can go places and do things isn't cordial. >> We didn't walk around your stuff. >> But you said you could. >> We could. >> And you have a badge and a gun, right? So, that's intimidating in and of itself, right? So, if you're trying to intimidate me, it's not going to work. >> Who who Why do >> Telling me telling me that I said I'm not comfortable with you coming up to me and you said >> Well, I can walk around your camp if I want. >> So, how how is that cordial? >> Because you started out with an attitude. >> I started out by ignoring you, right? Hoping you'd turn around and leave, right? Because you should pick up on the hint that unless you have reasonable suspicion, we have no reason to talk to you. Right? You're talking to lawyers right now. >> But you're talking to us. >> Because I want you to [ __ ] leave and I want to make a YouTube video clowning you now. >> Okay. >> So, that's what I'm doing. >> Okay. Thank you. Have a great day. >> Thank you. You didn't still didn't say your badge number, either. >> Yeah, >> 328. >> 328, all right. >> Watch your video. >> Who's your Who's your uh supervisor? >> Uh Paul Greer. >> So, you're telling me when I talk talk Paul Greer, he's going to tell me that you guys could As a matter of fact, I don't even need to You show me the ARS that authorizes you to walk through people's camps. >> Show me the ARS that says you can't. >> Yeah, it's called >> There has to be a law that says you can't do something. >> reasonable articulable suspicion. >> All right, so I just looked this up. Not in the sense of rummaging through your stuff, can they come into your camp? A fish and game officer, state wildlife officer, a forest service LEO enforcing state wildlife laws can walk up to and through the open visible parts of a lawful campsite on national forest land without suspicion. They generally can't search a closed tent, cooler, bags, vehicle, or other personal containers without consent, probable cause, an applicable exception, or specific state statutory uh statutory inspection. National forests are public land. Court Courts treat the open area of a dispersed or undeveloped campsite as having little or no reasonable expectation of privacy because it's exposed, accessible to the public, and not treated as curtilage like the area immediately around a house. Officers Officers can therefore approach, walk through the site, observe what is in plain view, and talk to you without a warrant or suspicion. A closed tent used as living space receives stronger Fourth Amendment protections similar to a temple temporary dwelling. That's uh according to just a little bit of research I did while this video was going. >> There's not a law, you can do it. Tell me what >> So, you can make up laws. No, you're saying >> I'm not making up laws. >> No, what you're saying But But hear me out now. >> Okay, you wanted me to leave, so I'm going >> You're You're saying you can walk into somebody's camp without reasonable suspicion, right? >> And that's end of that video. My take on that >> I didn't know this was somebody else's video. I just found this on X right here, and I think there's one more. Check out what the cops did to this guy after he was on the ground. >> Don't [ __ ] move. >> I swear to god I will not. I swear to god I will not. WHY YOU TASING ME? >> THEY HAD HIS HANDS BEHIND HIS BACK, were cuffing him, didn't look like he was resisting in any way, and they still had him ride the lightning, roadside electrocution. >> Get out the [ __ ] car. Get out THE [ __ ] CAR. >> WHAT A DID >> CAR NOW. MAKE IT TOO HIGH RISK. >> Did he just do that with his finger on the trigger? Did he just pound that glass with the butt of his gun? With the finger on the trigger. Let's see. >> Get out the [ __ ] car. >> Let's I can't Is his finger on the trigger? I can't tell. How stupid anyway. >> Get out now. >> Wouldn't that have been interesting if he did that and that other cop came over the hood right there and at the exact time a piece of lead flew at a fast speed toward the other officer? >> GET OUT NOW. >> What's >> Make it too high risk. Get the [ __ ] out now. >> I don't know the context of this. I don't know what this guy supposedly did. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. I got it. I'm not I'm not doing anything, brother. I'm not. >> Look, totally subdued. Will they tase him again? >> Don't [ __ ] move. >> I I to god I will not. I swear to God, I will not. Why you tasing me? >> Why? Why? Why? Why did they do that to him? I do not know the context of this video right here. This was just an excerpt of a recent live stream that I did, and the purpose of these videos is to at least bring awareness to the gross criminality done by people with costume and badges under the color of law. And that's a violation of 18 USC 242, deprivation of rights under the color of law. Which laws? Any law. Drug war laws, gun laws, and traffic laws included.
