Oh, they ran through a pole. I don't see a passenger, just a driver. How's it going? I'm Officer Cloud the Brian Police Department. I see you had a little bit of an accident. You okay? Besides the airbag hitting you, [snorts] Here, I'm going to go ahead and have you get out so we can you can breathe a little bit. You got a bunch there's a bunch of dust in there. Okay. >> It's clearly not fun, but I need you to get go ahead and step out so you can breathe easier. There's a lot of dust from those airbags. It makes it hard to breathe. >> Can I be honest? >> Okay, be honest with me. >> I don't want to say this flat out. Why are you doing that? What happened? >> Nothing. >> Yeah. >> You mind stepping out just so you can breathe a little bit? I just want I want you to be able to get some air. >> Oh no. If you ain't peep what she said. She tried to offer something like what? Oh nah. See, the thing with these types of things, if you do that, man, you gonna get put in one of them psych war joints and and all of that going to be on your back, your background. Yeah, man. Damn. You know, you never know what people are going through in life, you know, but Halloween is typically one of them. You know, you going out, you know, the girls dress all, you know, whatever, whatever the guys is dressing, you know, they out there, you know, hey, you scoping the scene, seeing what you can get, seeing what's happening. Normally, it's a it's a happy time. Okay. And she she going through it right now, man. >> I'm not getting out. Why don't you want to get out? >> I'm >> We don't want you to get hit by another car. >> I promise I'm good right here. >> Okay. So, what what happened? It was so bad tonight. >> Nothing about tonight. It's been the past to tell you. >> It's been an ongoing ongoing thing. >> Okay. What was the the trigger tonight? >> Okay. It's okay. Well, here I'm I'm going to let you speak to these medics real quick. They want to check you out just to make sure you're okay. >> All right. >> Hey, you're okay, right? You don't want to go to the hospital? >> Okay. >> Ma'am, do you have a driver's license, ID card with you? >> Sorry. >> You're okay. >> Thank you, ma'am. So, how did this happen? How'd you wreck? I couldn't even tell you with >> boyfriend or ex-boyfriend. >> Ex. I'm going to I'm going to marry you. >> Okay. >> Tell the story. It's been on and off for a year. >> Okay. >> But my dad moved out a month and a half a month and a half ago. and I'm the oldest. Definitely not the smartest out of the two of us. I've been struggling struggling. >> Tonight was my only night off of work and so I went to hang out with my friends and I was literally going home. >> Mhm. >> So when you were driving tonight, you're just heading home and all of a sudden decided to turn in this pole. I mean, honestly, I'm not going to lie to you, but I knew what I was doing. It's just >> ready for what? [snorts] >> It's embarrassing. >> I I wouldn't be embarrassed. >> Are you wearing your seat belt? >> I always wear my seat belt. >> Well, that's good. This would have been a lot worse if you hadn't been wearing it, so that's a good thing. Have you had anything to drink tonight at all? I had a shot at probably 8:15. >> 8:15. Okay. Just the one. >> Do you have any beers or anything like that? [sighs and gasps] You know, everyone handles things differently, right? And on one end it's like, okay, you got an argument with your boyfriend. Your your father moved out. Um, but like is there more to the story? Because it's like that's enough for you to want to check out. Like I'm I'm like I'm just not understanding that. And I we got to be strong minded, man. you know, I I get it. Everyone's uh tolerance is, you know, is is different, you know. Um but, you know, unless there's something ser like really, you know, going on, I don't think that's a good enough reason to WANT TO CHECK OUT. I mean, you shouldn't want to check Wait, hold on. Let me rephrase that. You shouldn't want to check out regardless. But obviously there are traumatic events that happen in our lives and stuff like that that might want bring you to the brink of okay yo I'm ready I I I don't know what else to do. I'm ready to get up out of here like you know to see you on up through there. You know what I mean? There is some sometimes things you know life's about ups and downs. Life is a roller coaster. One minute you can be on top of the world. The next minute you I mean you cannot have a pot to piss in and be really really struggling. You know what I mean? So, and those dark those dark times, how you handle those dark times, you know, you you got to persevere and like fight through it so that way you can rise up again, you know, cuz um you know, and stuff like that, man. But yeah, maybe maybe we'll get more into it. Maybe she'll say some more cuz right now I'm just like, h I mean, okay, family is broken up a little bit. Okay, you've been arguing with your boyfriend. All right. But what else? Is there anything else? >> You want to drink beer? Okay. >> I will say though, I did hit one of my friends. Uh I don't know if it was real or whatever though. >> Like a bait. >> Whatever. No, it like >> she clearly seems a little like there's something wrong. I don't smell like alcohol on her. So, we're going to have you step out. Okay. I just don't want your car to get hit by somebody. You got some better shoes you can slip on. Are you okay walking through the grass and everything with those? >> No, I can walk in. >> Okay. >> Try to do SSDs up more than that. >> I mean, yeah, we'll probably move over there minimum just so she's not standing. >> Yeah. >> Mind if I change in my >> If you want to jump in the back, >> that's that's fine. feel kind of >> let's uh we're going to walk over here just so we can get out of the road. Do you have your purse with you? >> Um >> can I bring my Stanley? >> Sure. >> All right. >> Oh, you >> Let's keep walking. We're standing in the middle of the road. >> Have you had any major head injuries in your life? I did gymnastics for 14 years. So, I did land on my head a couple. >> Okay. Right now. Crazy. >> Okay. So, what I want you to do is just put your feet together and your arms by your side just like this. And I want you to watch the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes alone. So, don't move your head. Does that make sense? You understand? >> Okay. She not doing bad. She's honestly not doing bad. But she admitted to smoking weed and all that stuff though. She got, you know, she little Jigsaw, right? That that's Jigsaw. No. Saw or something like that. Yeah. One of those scary movies with the >> All right. You can relax. Perfect. You walk normally in those shoes. You think you can walk in a straight line? Oh yeah, don't fall. Perfect. >> Never mind. I thought she was doing good. >> Just stand right here on my light. You're going to take nine heel toe steps down the line. Do you have any questions about it? All right, go ahead. >> One 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 One, two, three. >> Perfect. Go ahead and stand with your feet together, your arms by your side, just like that. When I tell you to begin, you're going to pick either leg. Doesn't matter which one. You're going to lift your foot approximately 6 in from the ground. Just stay like this just for now. Just right here. Perfect. Go ahead. >> Is that good? >> Correct. Yep. about 6 in. Just like that. Perfect. Have you put your foot down? Just pick it back up and just continue to do this. >> Perfect. You can stop. When did you last eat? You can't remember. Did you eat at all today? Haven't eaten at all today. Okay. >> I don't eat much. >> Okay. All right. So, I can tell you had a little bit of drink, right? I know you said you had one shot. I could tell it's more than that. So, how many shots have you had tonight? >> If you were were to give me a round number. >> Four total. I know that. >> Four total. Okay. >> When did you take your last one? >> I I wasn't honest with you at first. >> Well, and I can see that. I appreciate you telling me now. So, be honest with me now. This is your opportunity. >> But you only told him now because he he he called your bluff. >> Okay. >> How much have you had to drink tonight? I was supposed to drive my friends home, so I stop drinking at 12. >> Okay. >> I try not to go too too crazy because I've got school in the morning and then I work. I don't I promise I know I'm going to sound like every other rich, but I promise I don't go out much. This is literally my one night that I've had the past. >> I don't know. I don't think you sound like every other girl or person because you said that you tried to off yourself. That's completely different. >> Like, >> all right. What What did you see >> for all the other she did not do? >> Yeah, there was definitely several clues there. She's clearly not telling us how much she's had to drink. >> You can turn around for me real quick. You should put your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Is this your ex-boyfriend or boyfriend? I'm going to do it. >> Do you want him to get your belongings out of the car for you? >> You can grab it. >> Take your feet out on either side. >> You don't have to do that. You can >> You can stand up straight. I'm going to tighten this up a little bit. >> Comfy. I've never done this before. This is not going to be anything crazy. >> It's a good idea. >> I'm not trying to be my good. >> Okay, we're going to leave here in 2 minutes and we'll go straight to the jail. It's not far. >> There's nowhere to pee here. I can I can pee in the grass. Y'all can watch me. I don't care. I will not run away. I promise. >> I believe that. >> You need to blow your nose right now. >> That's my concern. >> Okay, we'll leave right now and we'll go. We're going straight there. >> I actually very good. I've never been arrested. >> That's very good. Well, I hope this is the first and last time. And >> there's going to be some blue chairs off to your right. Okay. >> All right. I'll let you go to the bathroom here in just a second. All right. You can come in this bathroom right here. >> Talk to me all the time. I'm not dangerous. >> I believe you. >> Thank you. >> You're good. You don't have to worry about it. >> Oh, you're okay. >> You want me to go ahead and put these in the front? >> Put them in the front for doing the breath test today for the next 15 minutes. Oh yeah. No. Okay. So, it's more beneficial to you to wait the 15 minutes so that you don't blow higher than what your actual blood alcohol content is. >> No, we gave it to Trent first. He said he wanted to get >> Sorry, I forgot. >> Rice. >> Are you white? White. Half. My family is from Scotland. Half is from Germany. White as brick. What is that? That's um Oh god. What is that? Don't tell me. Ah, >> I knew it was Jinx. See, I said it ear them Saw movies, man. That's the painting that she got on her face. I knew it was all right. Yeah, I used to love them movies when I was younger. I used to love them joints. They had the whole series. That joint was fire. >> I passed so many times tonight. And it's like >> some people at the hospital. >> If y'all have questions, y'all can just ask me. >> You already told me. Well, I know I want to be involved. Like, I don't >> The level of intoxication that that shows is not consistent with four normal size shots of liquor. >> I got them from where I work. >> So, doubles or like >> not doubles, but definitely heavier. >> My one night off, too, right? I get arrested. Go me. Hey, it's fine. I had a little depressive episode. I was a little bit drunk. It's fine. It happened. I'm just a girl. I'm just kidding. I'm not going to use that. Can I please pick up this potato chip? It's pissing me off. Like genuinely. >> You don't want to touch it, though. >> No, I don't. I don't care. It's pissing me off. I'm staring at crumbs that I don't like. >> Do y'all have trash anywhere? I will put it in the toilet. >> It's literally just >> staring at me. >> Who is eating potato chips right there? Anyways, better not tell me it was one of y'all. I'll write you up. >> I'm teasing you. >> So, you got to watch that. I got to watch that. >> He doesn't know teasing. >> Huh? What? >> What she's doing? >> She's not. >> Oh, I'm not I'm not taking it personal. >> I'm just bored. I'm sorry. I'm telling y'all. Keep me included. I promise I'm not boring. >> And I won't try. Keep my hands up. My hands up whole time if y'all need me to. >> Oh, you're good. >> I'm not trying to be nosy, but can I see you? I'm kind of interested. >> Can you see? What do you want to see? >> Whatever y'all are doing. I'll keep paying. I'll stay back. >> We're just waiting for paperwork. But >> yeah, it's just loading. Specifically, you're going to be it's a class a misdemeanor, which means so it's not a felony. And that means your blood alcohol content right now is above a 008. But furthermore, it's above a.15, which is double the leg limit. Your alcohol level was a7 and a5 on the test. >> Do I get a jump sc? Can I >> You can ask. Yeah, absolutely. Give me one for real. >> This is a new experience for me. Should I embrace this? >> You might as well go. >> This is [ __ ] This is making me sick. I ain't going to lie. Like, it's like in the beginning, I'm like, "Okay, all right. Whatever things going on in your life, I mean, whatever." Right? But now it's like you sitting in there and you taking it as a joke and the officers are feeding into it and it's like, you know, she's getting up. Oh, can I can I see what's behind the thing? Imagine me doing that. You think they going to be laughing and giggling and and carrying on? I get it. She's harmless, but there has to be some sort of order here. You know, some sort of order, some sort of structure. And I'm of the comp uh and I would like to see officers be a little bit harsher so that way for first timers it doesn't give them the impression that this is a decent place to go right is jail right going this is it as scary as TV makes it out to be no but it is very dangerous and you can get hurt. Okay, for real. For real. But is it as scary as what you see on TV? No. But you don't want first timers to really have an experience like this. You don't want first timers going through the booking process looking like this. This is not okay. This is not okay. you want to be, you know, an [ __ ] something like, you know, just so they could get across, get it through their head that, hey, this isn't a place that you want to be, right? Because is she going to stop drinking the rest of her life? No. Okay. the chances of her going back out having a drink, you know, uh the pressures of things going on in her life or whatever to drive her to drink and drink and drive and want to, you know, get sent on up through there, you know, and all that stuff. She, you know, pressure bus pipes, right? And she can't she can't handle the pressure cooker. Like, she can't handle it, you know, clearly she can't handle it. So, the chances of her doing something like this again I would say it's high just because oh I'm going to get arrested and I'm going to have a good time with the officers and chitchat like it's all good. >> No way. >> Can I keep my bra on? >> You can keep all your clothes on. You can put it all over. >> I kind of want to. >> You have to keep it. >> I don't think I'll let you keep it. >> That would fun. >> I want to know what the paperwork's about. teasing the board. I want to be involved. >> That's fine. That that she just doesn't like a legal document. >> But I can also make friends anywhere. >> Am I allowed to talk to people? >> You can talk to the other females. You cannot talk to the males. The males can't talk to you. >> Oh my god, he's cute. Who is that? behind the door in the glass with the apron on that just said um >> I have no idea. >> He's hot. >> Sorry, I'll shut up. >> I hate to see you. >> Yeah, don't let me talk to anyone. >> Last bit of bad news for you. I promise. This is stating your driver's license is going to be suspended >> for 60 days. I was just going to say my mom's a lawyer [snorts] and she's told me to be careful about what I signed. >> Okay, so this essentially I and I'll explain this to you one more time. Your signature honestly doesn't mean a ton. We read this to you. You can send it to the breath. We've already taken the breath sample, things like that. >> Okay, cool. It's a sign. Okay, fine. >> Anything else? >> I already feel a lot better. Breath lines right now. Let's see where we're at. Why is he in an apron? He's really cute. Don't judge me. >> Don't judge me. >> He's cute. >> This is what I'm saying. Do you want this experience for a first timer going through the booking process? This is the exact stuff that I'm talking about. So what throughout this whole interaction, this whole experience I should say, what about this experience is screaming, "Oh my god, I don't want to come back here." Nothing. Nothing at all. Cuffed in the front. She's not cuffed in the back where it would be more uncomfortable, you know? I don't see why she's not cuffed in the back, you know, or whatever. It's just [clears throat] it's just they he he haha. She's having a good old time. Then she going to sit there and talk about, "Well, my mom's a lawyer. She told me to be careful about what I sign." You just admitted that you tried to send yourself on up through there on the side of the road, man. and you admitted to drinking and smoking and everything else and you worried about a piece of paper that you got to sign. >> I like your tattoos. >> Thank you. >> Huh? Look at my guy. He Yeah. Yeah. Like he's like, "What the fuck?" She was charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.15. [music] Her bond was set at $4,000. Looking for answers as the world goes by. [music] >> Watching the reality hit the screen. The craziest moments that you've ever seen. >> Reaction full time.
