hey how are you seven driver's license
registration proof insurance
I'm sorry
oh yeah if you got yours sure
I'm sorry
thank you
I'm sorry like I don't get pulled over I
don't know
I
have your passenger's license I believe
manager
I have yours
what do you have a ticket for there
you're holding a ticket in your hand
is that yours yeah
I just haven't cleaned my car don't
judge me okay
where are you guys coming from today
Donovan's
how much does she have to drink today
I could show you if you want you're the
passenger in the vehicle so I'm not too
concerned I'm concerned with yeah have
you had anything to drink today any
illegal drugs any just alcohol
two drinks okay
how's your license
has your license are you suspended
anything like that oh no no all right do
me a favor turn the key off and just
throw the keys up on the dashboard for
me all right
I'm gonna go double check your license
and I'll be right back with you
six four three ninety tied up
all right 10-4
0
yeah I'm 10-4 I'll have one album
entirely
wait you guys
[Applause]
thanks
careful
all right Karina step out of the
Carphone
so I want to talk to you on the side of
the road probably gonna
drive home what do you mean I'm not I
didn't drink anything all right that's
fine
I could do anything you want I I just
haven't I only
the only issue I have is the reason why
I'm stopping you guys in the first place
is when you're coming over the bridge I
noticed that you guys were failing to
maintain your lane
um I saw you guys laughing joking so but
as I continue to follow you guys down
the hunt
we'll cross that bridge when we get
there
the other issue the other issue is
you've handed me a driver's license that
says you're not 21 until next year 24
years
no you're the driver no I'm
fine so right now I'm asking you to step
out of the vehicle so we can talk on the
side of the road
step out of the vehicle
yes
I believe you're intoxicated
listen I mean
all we're gonna do is we're gonna step
on Saddle road we're gonna have a chat
and we're gonna go from there all right
how long ago would you guys leave
Donovan's
30
minutes 30 minutes ago how much did you
really have to drink
yeah
she really got really got it
all right they got me so
like I said I stopped you because the
whole way down the highway you're not
maintaining your lane man stay in the
car
stay in car stay in Miss get in the park
I'm new to this I'm like wait that's all
right
um
do you have ID yes of course
I mean I'm on medication right now I I
just need to see you everyday I just I
that's why I didn't drive
hold on Danny I'm trying to find myself
yeah actually it's my boyfriend I'm
gonna put him on speaker if you don't no
if you can hang up the phone I'm gonna
put it on speaker thank you
Danny
I can't find my [ __ ] ID
I know it should be I have my debit card
I have my credit card I have my credit
karma card
I just had my ID
is this vehicle in your name ma'am no
this is not my car it's not my vehicle I
am I'm on medication slide and drive
you're not in any trouble I know I can
drive you're not okay I have your yeah
where the [ __ ] is my ID okay ma'am
you're not in any trouble no I don't
care if I'm in trouble I just I just
want you to know I have my ID and like
what what just out of curiosity what
actually you know
so I can drive and she is drunk but I
just start everything you're not in any
trouble I just need to see you yeah just
when you get a chance that's it
these lights on yeah that's fine
okay just stand up here
here get right there perfect
do you have a shirt that you want to put
on
hang on don't just is it is it that pink
one
okay can you just all right
do it hang on no stand stand back over
there let's see if we can get you a
shirt that's why you're not cold
thank you yeah that's why you're not
cold you're thinking
all right just stand right here you see
where this pink is
pink letters or orange letters just
stand right there
I'm sorry all right why don't you you
put the put the sweatshirt on
sorry
I'm like God damn I gotta put myself
together and I'm like
outside okay
all right
do you have any issues with your legs do
you have any medical conditions that
affect your balance and inquiries
I don't think anything
so I'm gonna explain and demonstrate the
test in a little bit of heavy do it so
and I'll just stay standing the Way You
Are
when I instruct you two you're gonna
lift your leg you're choosing at least
six inches
all right
oh my God
you know what I remember gym class like
okay
Miss what's your name
Karina
Karina
yeah I want you I want you to pay
attention very closely to what he's
telling you to do okay and I want you I
want you to do only that so I want you I
want you to look okay so this is what he
said right so you're gonna stand here
with your feet together like this toes
pointed color you see where my you see
how my hands are you see how they're
down by my side I want you to keep your
hands at your side touching touching the
sides of your legs all right then you're
gonna extend your foot you're gonna
extend your foot straight out in front
of you keeping your foot parallel to the
ground
okay that's okay so I want you just I
just want you to watch what I'm doing
okay I don't want you to do it yet all
right you're going to stand with your
foot parallel to the ground ma'am just
stay in the car okay
that's okay that's okay it's fine all
right man just stay in your car okay
just just stay in the car
okay
all right it's okay so just whatever
all right so this is what I that's what
I yeah I don't want you to do it yet I
don't want you to do it yet okay I don't
don't start yet so just put your foot
down on your side okay you're gonna
stand like this you're gonna have your
hands down at your side like this you're
gonna extend your leg in front of you
don't do it yet just listen to me all
right you're gonna send your leg in
front of you you're gonna keep your foot
parallel to the ground you're gonna keep
your eye on your foot as you're doing
this you're going to count Out Loud by
one thousand so one thousand one one
thousand two one thousand three so on
and so forth until I tell you to stop
that's awesome if we're done yet not yet
all right so if at any time you drop
your foot so if let's say one thousand
one one thousand two one thousand three
if you drop your foot you're gonna pick
it back up and start from where you left
off so for example one one thousand wait
wait listen to me so one one thousand
two one thousand three one thousand drop
it pick it back up four one thousand
five one thousand six one thousand and
you're gonna keep going until we tell
you to stop oh okay all right
yeah I gotta make sure I pass it no
that's okay do you have any you have any
other questions though
like that right yep like that but you're
gonna keep your arms down at your side
touching your side extend it out in
front of you foot parallel to the ground
I'm sorry I am so let's start from the
beginning all right so I want you to
start from the starting position anyway
okay ma'am ma'am I need you to come
through the back of the car ma'am I need
you to stay in the car I'll show you we
are on the highway no I need you to stay
in the car we're on a highway okay Miss
come on
oh my God okay I'm sorry perfect so from
here do you have any questions about
that test
I remember arms with your side down your
side foot extended in front of you but
parallel to the ground when I tell you
to begin all right I'm ready
okay you may begin
another
500
000 I don't know
14 000 .
all right perform an avatar is going to
conduct another test with you okay
for the next test what I want you to do
place your left foot out in front of you
your right foot touching the field of
tail in front of your left foot
stay in that position while I explain
the next test you're going to imagine
the line just cracking the roadway
follow that crack yeah all right we're
gonna take a series of nine steps
approaching heal the toe on each step
stay in that position while I finish
explaining this all right
yeah so taking a series of nine steps
directly out in front of you you're
going to the contemplation a nice step
we're going to use a series of short
choppy steps turn around
wait what
steps
we're gonna do it this way so you can
see all right like I'm gonna do it so
watch thank you I'm gonna tell you to
start just do me a favor get back in the
starting position
remember the starting position for this
one right
we're healed the toe with our hands down
at our sides like this okay
construction too we're gonna
[Music]
stop one
two
three I'm sorry I'm doing three you're
doing nine you're gonna turn around
you're gonna go back one two
three until you get to nine all right on
each step I want you to make sure oh so
you want me hold on
there nice effect that's it
just during the test make sure you touch
me on the toe and you keep Miss I need
you to stay in the car I am there's
somebody coming all right just I am
going to say okay just stay in the car
okay that's fine I'm sorry that's fine
just stay in the car hold my hand out
the window is that okay yeah let's just
close the car door okay you can stay
with the window open
did you understand the instructions
[Music]
so
I want to make sure you understand that
okay so you're gonna do yep you're gonna
use is it you're gonna so let's go back
to the beginning all right stand right
here just listen take a deep breath all
right
I feel like your dimension made
foreign
so you see you see this straight line in
front of you
like this faded one yep you're going to
use that as a guide
you're gonna walk directly on that line
okay so you have your left foot on that
line your right foot directly in front
of your left foot
I would we're not even so I want you to
focus on this nothing else I want you to
focus on what I'm telling you keep your
arms down at your side okay to stay in
this position until I tell you to start
okay
from here you're going to take a series
of nine steps Heel To Toe
counting
let me finish nine steps Heel To Toe
counting out loud looking down at your
feet while you're taking these steps
keeping your hands down at your side
at the end of your ninth step you're
going to take a series of small steps
turning around you're gonna take another
nine steps back to where you begin
counting out loud so it'll look like
this right
so one two
three I took three you're gonna take
nine that's why that's why we want to
make sure you understand just let me
finish right we're gonna take series of
small steps turning around and again one
two three so it should look just like
that do you have any questions
you have your feet like that your arms
with your side Miss just stay in the car
I just want to witness it okay no you
have to stay in the car no I want to
balance it I'm so sorry but I'm hearing
what you're saying and I need to witness
that okay do you do you realize that by
interfere with Motor Vehicles also
arrest you for obstruction so please
okay let's see can I see him I need you
to get into the vehicle I need you to
get in
there's somebody five minutes away I
need you to get into it again I need you
to get into the vehicle and stay in the
vehicle I need you to get into the
vehicle and stay in the vehicle
I need you to get into the vehicle and
stay in the vehicle we are on a highway
okay I need you to please get into the
vehicle
what's your name I'm not gonna tell you
again please get into the vehicle okay
Miss I respect you I need to get into
the vehicle please get into the vehicle
stay into the vehicle do not leave the
vehicle until we tell you to leave the
vehicle do you understand that okay I
have to finish what she's doing and then
I will come back and talk to you I
promise all right all right do you have
any questions about what we talked about
oh no no no you're not I'm not that
stupid
okay all right what's your name what's
your name
okay my boyfriend is right here
I need you to take some deep breaths
you need to stay in the vehicle you're
on a very busy highway I understand even
when your boyfriend gets here I cannot
leave this vehicle until I tell you you
can leave this vehicle I'm very sorry
okay please
please stay in the vehicle
and count out loud okay
I'm gonna demonstrate it again I'm gonna
do three steps just for time's sake and
you're gonna do nine
all right so one two three you're gonna
turn around
you go one
two
three just remember to count each step
allowed okay do you understand those
instructions
correct
[Music]
um
no phone calls
um
Karina what's your highest level of
Education
okay so it's fair it is to say that you
know the English alphabet from A to Z
correct
do you know do you know the alphabet
yeah all right this is
do me a favor stand once again feet
together hands at your side all right
Miss
[Applause]
okay but listen I don't
you cannot just run out of a vehicle on
a motor vehicle stop until we allow
yourself
let's stand wherever you want me to
let's say but I'm used to stand up
listen I cannot sit I cannot sit
if you're not listening I'm a [ __ ]
nurse I need to say it so tell me where
to stand I will stand wherever you want
me to but I cannot sit in that car
I will stand there I will stand there I
was saying anywhere please let me stand
anywhere you need to understand I
understand
no you have not because you have not
listened to a thing I have said I will
so if we go back to the car once you're
free to leave I will allow you to leave
with your boyfriend okay but you cannot
just run out of a vehicle okay when
you're on a motor vehicles
okay please you need
I need you to stop talking okay okay I'm
gonna let you take her because I'm
afraid that she's going to next run and
cross the highway
okay I understand but that's why I'm
nervous because she does not listen to
anything that we have said this entire
time
okay I want her to be safe I want her to
get out of here I think she does still
have belongings in that car I cannot let
you take those until we're done with
what we're doing so if you want to hang
out level hang out right here no no okay
that's right all right listen but she
can't she's out there if she gets into
this vehicle
notes I will give it to you you either
need to get into this video
or you need to get into that vehicle but
those are your two options you cannot
stand outside the car it might be
impressive am I being arrested if you
keep interfering I can't arrest you I
don't want to do that
get into the vehicle and we will get
your boys for you I cannot have you
running back and forth across this
highway
we're gonna get it just sit down
lock the doors please keep it in there
[Music]
off
[Music]
do you have anything in your car that
you're gonna need cell phone wallet all
right we'll grab some stuff for you
I'm not okay with it I don't okay
do you have a cell phone in here that
you need
so what exactly are you guys doing like
you're being placed under arrest for
driving while intoxicated okay
do you have a cell phone in here or
anything that you need okay we'll grab
it for you
I don't I don't know so okay all right
I'll look for it and I'll I'll grab it
I'll get it for you okay yeah
oh my God
I cannot believe that
all right let's go back here
[Applause]
so this is her purse perfect
just stay in the car just stay stay with
her please thank you
these are her shoes this is her purse
yeah
yeah she's holding that the whole time
yeah she handed I walked into the window
she handed me your DL and
so that's sitting on my MBT
I can't drink anything
so they came over the bridge
I'm just gonna put this in my car
these are her shoes since they were on
her side and I think this is her first
okay what police station so Highlands
oh she got a man holding cell yeah she's
under arrest okay we're gonna go okay
she's not gonna be out for a long time
for a while yes it's gonna be a while to
me
all right
um
I would bring her home
I would bring her home
[Music]
[Applause]
she says that she was all over the place
yeah so she came over the bridge in two
lanes and
um
I'll follow it you know yeah
we're coming down the
highways in front of her she's still
driving you two legs I'm like all right
this needs to did she give you the
insurance and the registration
I really thought I was arresting that
girl
I really thought I was gonna have to
arrest her for her obsession
interfering
this is um hit me at one point
and I was like I really don't want to do
this
she's what 19.
so
that sucks
no I didn't
uh where's her keys on the dashboards
here
um
17 through 1985 I always say
is your box working and do you have
somebody to come up with it for us
what do you say
[Music]
sorry can you turn five
or both
excellent I'm going to send 1764 your
way
okay
the phone was in her person
1764 County
transporting one female 41 from the stop
to 85 PD
31079 am I starting
but
yes I'm sorry
foreign
so we're gonna go to Atlantic Highlands
because they have a
we don't have somebody that can operate
the ALCO test machine
so we're gonna get there
it's the uh the breath test
so I'm gonna when we get there I'm gonna
read a couple of forums to you
um if you want to participate in the
breath test we'll move forward
um
and then once we get back to
my headquarters we'll uh we'll let you
make a phone call and get somebody on
the way to come get you all right
well what if your phone call doesn't
answer
trust me I don't want you to be stuck
with us all night so
you're getting more than one phone call
if that's the case
that's right you can we'll let you call
whoever you need to
1764 County ending mileage is three one
zero eight one
[Music]
three one zero eight one received
147
system uh
I'm here
sir
hey question for you
is
under hdwisco 450.
you know what man I figured maybe you've
run into it
yo how would you huh how old is she 20.
all right now you're okay okay all right
no [ __ ] here I thought we said eraser
she's under 18 or something oh no no no
um it's the same charge though right
yeah okay but there's some I'm sure you
can issue something for underage I think
there's something in there I've seen it
before I just didn't know if you did
that in Louisville
let's get princess take it real quick
so that uh
Elmer has it
yeah I wish we had these
this one works yeah
yeah it is
this thing
that low-key would rather
and write this
on your pretty huh
just one
step inside
thank you
rolls over
it's uh just a regular 450. all right I
printed the 450 for you yep
um
all right I'm just gonna grab a packet
real quick
yeah
it's still
it's
450.14 okay
all right cool
all right
foreign
I figured you might know a little more
than I would
let's go okay nice
why not
I've been in modified uniform all week
and this is my first uh
Rita Miranda and stuff goes through the
uh just
um
[Music]
what now unfortunately not this is their
building we gotta play by their rules
all right
so real quick just because I might ask
you some incriminating questions coming
forward we're gonna read you your
Miranda warning pay attention all right
you have
you have the right to remain silent
anything you can anything you say Canon
will be used against you in a court of
law you have the right to talk to it
just
yeah the right streaming silent anything
you say can it will be used against you
in a court of law you have the right to
talk to a lawyer and have him present
with you while you were being questioned
if you cannot afford to hire a lawyer
one will be appointed to represent you
before any questioning if you wish you
can decide at any time to exercise these
rights and not answer any questions or
make any statements do you understand
your rights okay keeping those rights in
mind would you like to speak with me
yes or no
huh not right now but it's a yes or no
we got we can even ask any questions
we're having a thought we're just going
to instruct you to do certain things
we're not going to ask you anything we
won't be able to talk to you at all so
if you signs what we can talk to you
that's pretty much it
oh what am I gonna do here those are if
I can't talk
well there's certain questions there's
certain questions that you have to talk
to us if we start asking you questions
where did you drink I mean you had those
are the things that you don't have to
answer yeah but those are the questions
that you don't have to answer too much
yeah but I didn't refuse to leave I
don't know
pedigree like age
means where you live all those things
you have to answer
if I sign up
yeah I mean you're gonna sign either way
it's just
dance that's fine
so I like that when we ask you your name
address age those kind of things you
have to answer them
right okay
no problem
thank you
what's that
the alcat has to be also here it has a
signal the estate the auction has
something to read to you in a few
minutes okay okay
um
bye officer
can you like hold it down yeah sure
certainly
you have a much better signature than I
do I tell you that much your signature
is much nicer than mine
all right so the Karina I need you to
pay attention to me very carefully
because it's probably
the most important piece of paperwork
I'm gonna read to you
all right you have been arrested for
driving while intoxic I know
you have been arrested for driving while
intoxicated falls into the statute 39
450. all right the lord requires you to
submit samples of your breath for the
purpose of testing to determine alcohol
content a record of the taking of the
Brett samples including the test results
will be made upon your request a copy of
that record will be made available to
you after you have provided samples of
your breath for testing you have the
right at your own expense to have a
person or physician of your own
selection take independent samples of
your breath blood or urine for
independent testing if you refuse to
provide samples to your breath you will
be issued a separate summons for the
refusal a court may find you guilty if
both refusal and driving while
intoxicated
if a court finds you guilty of the
refusal you will be subject to various
penalties including license revocation
of up to 20 years a fine of up to two
thousand dollars installation of an
ignition interlock
in referral to an intoxicated driver
Resource Center wait what's the third
one I'll explain it
these penalties may be in addition to
penalties imposed by the court for any
other offense of which you were found
guilty
you have no legal right to have an
attorney physician or anyone else
or anyone else present for the purpose
of taking the breath sample
you have no legal right to refuse to
give or delay giving samples of your
breath any response from you that is
ambiguous or conditional in any respect
to my request that you provide bread
samples will be treated as a refusal to
submit to breath testing
even if you agree to take the test but
then do not follow my instructions do
not properly perform a test or do not
provide sufficient breath samples I will
charge you with the refusal to submit to
breath testing I repeat the law requires
you the law requires you to submit
samples of your breads for testing will
you submit samples of your breath
yes or no
yes or no yes or no just say yes or no
um wait a second
can I ask a question no right now it's
yes or no answer no okay
your answer is not acceptable the law
requires that you
guys paperwork
your answer is not acceptable the law
requires that you submit samples of your
threat for breath testing if you do not
answer or answer with anything other
than yes I will charge you with the
refusal now I ask you again will you
submit to breath testing
I will not do it
73 I'm happy no just now no it's not
nope it's enough
awesome like nice news
sorry to bother you guys
well at least like now
yes sir refusal
[Music]
em
yeah I think it's in my car
it was back in two seconds

okay so
what does that mean you guys need a bag
we'll let you know let us know
um
what does that mean
what what you just had
just cop stuff man

like
I don't know what to do except for talk
to you guys like I can't just sit here
it's fine if I talk to you guys yeah
since you
when we went over the whole Miranda
thing that just means that now that you
don't want you you know
those are your rights right it is
um I would probably advise against it
it's the only page
