okay I don't know if you've ever heard of being Heinz as in the verb let me go and give you my definition of being Heinz it's the skillful art of diffusing the tyrannical intent of law enforcement agents by catching them in the inexplicable disarming sometimes awkward Time Warp of peaceful dialogue and friendly non-compliance oftentimes the badge tyrants walk away not knowing what hit them I'm going to give you a demonstration of what it means to be heinzed by the YouTube channel and we've covered him before this guy is a master he is like he's like the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the auditing World badge tyrants come up to him say hey we need to see your ID let me see your identification you don't need to see his identification we don't need to see him he says these aren't the IDS that you're looking for go about your business and he does it in such a subtle masterful way he makes something so complex looks so simple these aren't the droids you're looking for [Music] and go about his business you can go about your business the name of his YouTube channel is let's exchange IDs with Travis Hines the name of this video right here that he just released about 16 hours ago from the recording of this video is called Crime Alert caller gives officer rakia power to ID me and Clive Iowa Move Along Move Along check this out there's two versions of this by the way there's his handheld camera version and then there's a GoPro 360 version the the unfortunate thing about his camera held version is you can't see rakia's officer rakia's face but you can see it with this the trade-off is on the 360 version the audio is a little low so for the sake of good quality audio I'm going to play the handheld Camera Part listen to Travis this guy is a master master auditor what's what's the problem hi what's up oh yeah yeah here we are so somebody called they just wanted us to come out and check on you make sure you're okay oh okay do a little third check okay you have an ID or anything on you I do what does that tell you about whether I'm okay well it's your earpiece I was trying to trying to figure out that thing right below your name which is uh richia wreck rakia but it's your uh it's part of your radio Okay I guess you won't be able to hear then without that on right no I can hear because I don't have it plugged in you got well are you part of the like community service a community caretaking oh yeah okay because you know they have their own special cars are you a community caretaker you ever you know it says community caretaking on the side of the car or something yeah they might do that and they they might do that like in other cities but we're a really small department so we don't we don't have specialty yeah and Clive yeah seems pretty active though I mean that's from what I've seen so far I mean but yeah the library's kind of small I was just over there we're young so yeah okay this is pretty convenient to to also be uh too I mean just uh I mean for parking at least I don't know how busy the parking was going to get over there so yeah yeah I parked over here I mean and I guess it's a little odd to be parked over here well well somebody was concerned yeah yeah I mean it's not blocked off or anything and I mean I mean I I stopped for the library and and this is all open I did I was a little uh you know curious about that why I mean obviously the swim swimming pool is closed so if you'll note during this entire interaction rakia officer rakia's right hand right here and it switches eventually to her left hand but her right hand she's this is a nervous thing she's got nervous energy she needs to expend because she got this call now these welfare checks can end really really badly for the victim who's being checked on by the law enforcement agents this is I don't care no matter how easy Travis makes this look right here this is a very very dangerous situation this situation this encounter with these badged tyrants who are always drunk on their own power they're never not drunk on their own power power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely these tyrants could literally end Travis's life or ruin his life by throwing him into jail so while Travis makes this look really really easy this is a complex issue that he's making look really easy he's like the he's like the spider who's masquerading as a uh you know as as a limping fly and they are actually the bugs getting caught in his trap they think they're detaining Travis Travis is in actuality detaining them that's how good this guy is so I mean they seem to have put bringing a lot of people there because this is big this parking lot's big and they all also you got these signs the uh swimmer drop off even all the way back here you got signs warning people about swimmer dropping off the port spots it gets that busy I guess look at her fingers yeah did it did it get busy this this summer because I I haven't okay they didn't close it for covid so I know in 2020 they did but not not this year all right and then it just it's just daily survival says in the comment section the audit Whisperer he's the law and that's that's a good one he is actually the law enforcement Whisperer and you can't help but appreciate the fact that Travis is like a professional grade psychologist without the couch completely diffusing and demolishing all police tactics by dragging cops through the mental Wilderness of small talk and he so thoroughly wears them down that at the end of it they have no they have no desire to get his ID as a matter of fact given a couple more minutes in this conversation they would probably be giving him their IDs and their kids names and the names of pets favorite ice cream this guy is a master master auditor this becomes a ghost town after after uh swim after this pool's drained pretty much well it's been cold the last couple of days too yeah so there's a lot of people that come up through the on the nature trails and families who used to park yeah yeah and I I was gonna use the the trail um go check out parts of the rest of the city but yeah I was resting now I mean I just in between I was at the library so I'm sure you just passing through reply well I mean I don't live here and uh I wouldn't call it uh passing I'm looking around are you passing through Clive you know what this reminds me of remember that 1980s movie Rambo this is John Rambo Travis Hines is John Rambo traveling through Clive Iowa dressed as Gandhi you don't want to mess with that guy let me see some ID all right you're under arrest you hear me put your hands on the car now you put your hands in the car and you spread them okay you're going to put your hands on that car five I mean I'm just getting the feel for the area yeah is it how's the crime around here is it not too bad oh just what's your name it's uh Nielsen okay and n-i-e oh okay yeah and then yeah not not Roku I want to call it rokio but all right yeah that's uh I mean uh is there anything I need to do you got called that's my liability issue for you yeah well it's I mean I want your ID because if I don't get your ID that's a liability for her that's a new lie I haven't heard that one what does anybody know the rationale behind that if I don't get your ID it's a liability for me what about the idea of the person who called you guys to come out and check on me what if the caller said yeah there's this guy parked in the parking lot and I think he's got a gun this would have gone down entirely differently these people are on high alert anyway that when they approach a vehicle like this and they just these knee-jerk reactions can end somebody's life really really quickly I also respect the Fourth Amendment too so I wanna I wanna hear I wanna I wanna understand I want to establish what crime I committed to it's not a question you know so that they can go back and and say hey yes she spoke with this person if anything yeah you know what so that's classic he got her to admit that there is no crime we're not investigating a crime oh well basically what he got her to admit is that I have no reason to get your ID I have no reason to even attempt to trample your Fourth Amendment right to be secure in your person's houses papers and effects contact with us yeah I mean I've been alive I've been alive for quite a while nothing's really ever happened I've gotten my car broken into a couple or want once no not in Clive it's it was it was in Albuquerque New Mexico it's just you know I thought something was going to happen there but that's that's over there you know I I bet I don't I mean did you identify the caller who's the who's the caller let's find who they are um so it's Anonymous I don't I don't know who called Anonymous caller oh wow see that's so convenient for them they could just they could say always you know there was a guy who got has a van it's all like uncovered it's all covered and and there's like I guess a dog barking inside and and they got a call that somebody was screaming inside it's like it's they they like they took this I think the noise from the dog and then somehow the playing the telephone game it transferred into someone screaming inside so the cop was really interested in what was going on that's another dangerous thing you've got the caller calling 9-1-1 9-1-1 relays the message to law enforcement the law enforcement officials talk to each other by the time you get on the scene there's no telling what kind of convoluted additions have been included from the original conversation inside their their van and the guy was recording I saw it on YouTube yeah I don't know if you watch many of those YouTube videos oh you're not aware of that yeah the only issue for us I make I make a hundred thousand dollars a year my partner makes about 150 000 a year we really don't have time to get on YouTube but we do have time to stand here in the parking lot messing with a peaceful person who's done absolutely nothing wrong I have no complaints I mean that's a lie about it I can understand maybe this is going to be a cause that's a lie by the way when a cop says well we're just checking on you we want to make sure you're okay this is just kind of a welfare check we want to make sure you're doing fine that's not true it's not true cops are trained to lie concerned I was trying to block the the Sun as I was sitting in here that would it would have been classic strata if if uh Travis said hey I need you to keep your hands where I can see them you know during the course of this conversation it just uh makes me a little nervous when you got your hands in your pockets just and then they come down when you know when the Sun goes down and I'm gone because I'm sure there's a cur some kind of curfew for the park maybe 10 10 30. okay okay that's pretty generous some some I think so the ones that say that Sundown uh is the curfew it's unconstitutional I believe that's unconscious yeah it's just like it's every day it's always changing because they do this in the summer you get more time in the winter you get like it just it doesn't seem fair to to make a lot and some people do that that type of Sundown thing but 10 30 I'll be gone before 10 30. no problem so I'll just say you know I plan on uh going to Walmart and parking overnights I mean that's that's fine is that funny okay okay that's yeah yeah yeah I was just I was gonna do that so I know where it is yeah and I want to get familiar on the way I was thinking about okay there's about two more pool and park closing and you know curfews she just her face is classic and so what you have here is you have two cops who were detained by Travis Travis was by no means detained in any way shape or form by the cops this guy is classic and and I almost want to foil request the body cams when the cops walk away I want to see what they say it's almost like I can Envision this lady right here saying you know what I need to make a trip to Joanne's Fabrics I'm going to start crocheting I just I just feel so at peace it's like I need to turn on a Bob Ross video so I can learn to do oil paintings we just encountered the Mr Rogers or Bob Ross of the auditing world I don't even know what to do with myself we we came to rain down with our unjust tyranny on this guy and we walked away just feeling so
