Today we'll be checking out two body cams. The first one, drunk passenger turns a flight to a wedding into jail. And then right after that, we'll be checking out how a daughter slapped her 83-year-old mother. >> This is Aditi Sharma. On Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at around 8:20 p.m., Tampa Airport police were called to gate after she'd just been escorted off a Frontier Airlines flight. According to a Frontier supervisor, the crew said she was heavily intoxicated and causing problems in the cabin before takeoff. And here's the wild part. She already missed one flight that day. This was her rebooking. So, how do you think attempt number two went? Yeah, not great. Watch what happens when officers walk up [music] to her at the gate. >> Hey. >> What's up? You guys called? >> Hey. >> Hey. >> I definitely smell >> Okay. >> Hey, police, follow me. >> Hey. Hey. Relax. Back up. >> I am a law >> Back up. Here, let's go sit down. >> And as much as you would like >> Okay. Let's have a seat over here. >> I'm not intoxicated. I heard >> Okay. I can smell it off of you. >> It doesn't matter. >> Okay. >> Would you >> What's up? >> I'm fine. I'm going to my friend's wedding. I'm a bridesmaid. She is taking it to the Wilson Department. >> So, you're trying to go to Atlanta or what? >> No. You see. >> Okay. >> to miss my flight by a single minute. So, I am able to fly. >> Okay. For what time? Or when? >> For 7:19. This is really scheduled for 7:54. For apparently 360. >> Okay. What time was your original flight? >> 2 567. Within the 50s. >> Okay. >> I'm a lot like enough. Like, I have done nothing out of request of my requested. >> Okay, why did they take you off the flight? >> That's a good question. We'd love to hear an answer. >> Okay, were you seated on the flight already? Okay, and then >> So I missed my flight by singular minute. They dragged me off and I feel I was really compliant. >> All right, okay. >> I do not cause any trouble. >> How much have you had to drink? >> I only had things to drink inside the airport. >> That's fine. >> That's my answer. I hope you understand why I'm upset. I'm not here to cause problems. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I don't understand why they have bars at the airport. I got to be honest with you. There's so many problems that happen at the airport because people are drinking and stuff like that. And I don't even know why they sell alcohol on the planes, you know. Now don't get me wrong. I do have me a shot or two. You know, they give you the little shooters, you know. I do. But that's you know, it's that's not enough to like get you tore up or anything like that. Or you know, you got to be able to be controlled. You know, you're drinking, you know, be able to control it. Can you control it? You know, drinking isn't it's not one of those things that you want to really do on the plane because you're going to keep having to get up and go to the bathroom because of your bladder and stuff like that. You know, but yeah, they they just got to they just got to get rid of the bars at the airport cuz I feel like there's more people that can't can't handle it. They can't handle it, man. >> I'm going to have you hang out with this officer and I'll be back with you in a second. >> Hey. >> Um So, what happened? I got quite a bit of calling y'all. Okay. Hey, like can you grab her That's what took the longest. That's when I called you guys cuz I was like I don't know if she's going to fall or if she's just going to sit on somebody. >> Was it like physical with anyone or Okay. Okay. Yeah. Did she actually sit down? Where was she when you first got there? On the plane? Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. So, >> Okay. >> Yeah. Um but you're I mean, not today, but maybe tomorrow. Fly tomorrow. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If she if she sobers up, we can put a note on her reservation that she is allowed to rebook if she wants to, like, either contact customer service or come back tomorrow. I just She's one of the drunkest. >> Oh, yeah. She put on >> Well, one of, but she's >> I mean >> She's up there. >> She says she's not drunk, but I would be afraid to light a match. Did they rebook you? >> [laughter] >> Well, that's probably what's going to happen. They're going to rebook you. Well, we got called cuz they I guess they thought you maybe a little too intoxicated for the flight. So, the only thing I got We want to need you to calm down. >> Well, if you're not wasted, this is a problem cuz you're tore up, man. Your flight You're You're arguing with the flight attendants. You drink You spilling your coffee on you, right? Cuz they said that they had matcha or matcha tea, matcha, whatever, you know, that green stuff tastes like grass. You know what I'm talking about. I know you know what I'm talking about. But, whatever it is, um you got to get a grip because you're supposed to get Make sure you get to the wedding and then drink on their dime, right? Everybody loves a wedding, man. That's when you get to go and drink on other people's dimes. WHO DON'T LIKE THAT? >> WHAT DID YOU DRINK? >> NOTHING out of the airport. >> So, everything inside the airport? >> Everything. You can watch me. You can watch me. I landed around I know I haven't done anything illegal. I don't get why I'm so aware that I have not done anything wrong. >> It's not illegal to drink. >> It's illegal to get on a plane. It's not okay. I'm aware of that. Please prove that I did that. My hands are clearly available. >> But if they feel if they feel that you might have had >> I understand that and I'm cooperating to the best of my ability. >> You might be okay here, but once you get up into the sky, it's a different it's a different story. >> That's not the answer. That's not the answer. >> Research. >> Do you have your boarding pass by chance? >> I got it. >> Can you grab your boarding pass and your ID for me? No, we want your boarding pass. >> I'm aware. It's in my phone. >> Were you able to find your ID, ma'am? >> Yes, yes. It's in here. There's only I'm innocent. I'm very clear. Okay. You can't leave me in the cold, papa. I don't care. Take it. You said you wanted to scan re-scan that. >> No, I didn't never say that. >> What are the last words out of your mouth? >> It wasn't to scan the bag. >> What were the last words out of >> Your ID. >> She has that. >> She has my passport. >> He has my passport. You have my bag? >> And then your boarding pass, but she got your name. >> Yes. So, I'm not here to cause problems. >> I'll give that back to you, ma'am. >> I don't need it. Just hold it. Please hold it. I don't like I don't appreciate you guys I'll be back. But once you need help with She did say her name started with No. Oh. It's somebody else. Oh my god, look at how similar their names are. >> Okay, so she calls Frontier, comes in tomorrow, you guys might be able to >> I can put it on her reservation that we can rebook her. >> You guys have >> you know she's getting >> No, Frontier. >> Damn. That's on the same level with Spirit, man. See, that's what you going to get with these with these right here, man. Oh, man. >> I don't remember, to be honest, she's really on. >> No wonder he booked her from my phone number. >> It's a verbal warning. >> Okay. >> Well, we'll go talk to her. We'll get her out of the air side and then go from there. Thank you. >> I didn't do anything, sir. I didn't do anything wrong. Like you're so welcome to ask anything you need from me, but I think I'm being treated really badly. >> I'm asking if there's someone that can pick you up in a timely manner. >> Yeah, absolutely. I can do that if I have to. I need to. That's not the problem. The problem is like I have not done anything wrong. >> Okay. Well, I'm going to be straightforward with you, they're they're not going to let you fly today. >> I understand that. >> So. >> I'm a well aware. >> Okay. So, with that being said, you we're eventually going to have to get you out of the airport. All right. >> So, you going to hold me overnight? >> There's a couple choices. >> in this airport. Yeah, you're going to hold me overnight? You're going to arrest me? >> No, we're not arresting. >> You can't. That's your right. >> You need to relax. You need to calm down. You are intoxicated. >> We are actually not. >> You're showing all the signs of being intoxicated. >> Sorry. >> So, what we want to do with you is we want to help you out, okay? We want someone to come pick you up so you can sleep this off. Okay? >> I'm not. >> But you cannot stay here at the airport. Cannot stay here at the airport. >> You can charge me with whatever you >> You're not being charged with anything. >> But you should. Because you don't want to charge me for that, go ahead. >> I guarantee. See, this is the problem that I'll be having. They talk all this big game, right? But when they go to actually arrest them and charge them, then you're going to start crying. Watch. Yeah, you should arrest me. Yeah, uh-huh, right. Yeah, okay. You go to arrest him. OH MY [screaming] GOD, I'M SORRY. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU KNOW, COME ON, MAN. Pick one side or the other, really. Either you built like THAT OR YOU NOT. Either you built like that or you not, man. Just call a cab, call a friend, get up out of there. And that's it. This will be over with. Start over tomorrow, man. >> I'm being charged for public intoxication. >> Why do you want to go down that road? >> Because I need to go to my friend's wedding. >> When you can easily Okay, that's going to delay the process even more. You're going to go to jail, then you're going to be in jail, then you're going to lose everything down the road. It's a lot easier for somebody to come pick you up. Okay, so if you're going to cooperate, you're going to have somebody come pick you up. >> Someone needs to get me to DC by tomorrow morning. I will sit here. I will do it. And that's why you know I'm not properly Okay, I swear to me, you can put me wherever you want. I know myself. I know I'm not here to cause problems. >> So So hear me out. You get a ride, you go home, you sober up, you come back tomorrow, you get on your flight, you get get to DC for your wedding. >> I will less than not bother anybody else. >> So your options are to leave the airside, and you get a ride. You're not allowed to be on the airside. I don't know why you think this is funny. >> I don't think it's funny whatsoever, but I know my rights. >> And you it seems like you you're trying to choose the the worst route here. >> I'm really not. I'm not trying to cause problems. I would have loved to >> Here, we got a wheelchair for you. You can sit in the wheelchair and we'll help you over. >> What do I do? I just want to not do anything. >> Come on. Get up. >> No, you're welcome to not return me. I understand my rights as a paying the passenger." However, if I did anything absolutely criminal, again, please, by all means, hold my hands. Like, I'm not fighting back. I'm not fighting arrest. >> All right. >> I'm not fighting >> Absolutely not. I'm sorry. >> Stop it. >> Please stop. >> No. >> Okay. >> Relax. >> Good. >> Yeah, watch that one. >> I'm not combating in any way. >> Well, you're being disorderly. That's what it is. >> No, I'm really not. I've given you I've given you chance to give me a lawyer. >> We gave you every chance. >> No, I asked you for a reason for my arrest. >> told you that you weren't flying because you were in you were deep intoxicated. >> that's not the same thing. >> I see. >> You told me you were in the city. >> Sit down. Sit back. Sit back. >> I'm not at any point resisting. >> I just said this is going to delay a lot more than flying. You're not flying anytime soon now. >> I did American citizen for a year. >> You lose us. >> Are you arresting me or not? >> You are arresting your >> Damn, she said she'd been an American citizen for a year. Damn, man. Woo. Going to jail. >> Oh my god. >> We We gave you that option 50 times. >> Oh my god. No. Call my lawyer. >> We already explained it to you. >> Call a lawyer. >> You need to relax and calm down. >> I really do. I'm actually entitled to a lawyer, and I'm trying to be so polite about it. >> Okay, you can call for a lawyer at the jail. >> I'm sorry. By all means. I'm not here to cause problems. I've been very clear about that. You have all the authority. Go for it. I need one woman. >> Huh? >> And you need to be here. >> All right. You're going to have a seat in the truck. >> Yeah. What? You can't. >> Okay. >> Ouch. Really hurts. Okay. >> Okay. >> I'm trying. >> Got to get you some belts on you. >> I'm not I'm not being combative. I'm trying. >> watch your head. All right, thanks guys. >> So, I need your badge number and your last name. Am I entitled to that information? >> Uh >> No, you said my name. >> Officer Veer, badge number 139. >> So, I need it written. >> Officer Veer, badge number 139. >> V I R E >> R >> V E R H. And uh on the property card is the officer that is making the arrest. >> I'm I'm not not cooperating at any point. And you know this is I never came here to cause problems. I came here with one intention, was to go to my friend's wedding. If you don't give me an active action, I will subpoena what it was that caused me to get removed because I do not think it was justified. >> I think you need to just figure out your drinking habits and and stop drinking. >> I understand that. And I understand >> Alcohol is a factor why you're going to jail tonight. >> I was never here to cause problems, by the way. But, I'm not going to let these people run over me cuz I am a citizen. And I do have rights. I don't want to cause problems, but man, I really will. I just want to go to my friend's wedding. And I really tried so hard to make it home. >> Uh you're already under arrest, but on top of that, you are trespassed from the airport for the next year. >> For the next year? Interesting. Okay. >> So >> I'm not going to compete. Like, I'm not here to cause problems. I was never here to >> Okay. So, listen, if you return to the airport without any official business within the next 365 days, you will be arrested again for trespassing after warning. >> Okay. >> All right, ma'am, we're going to get you out of car so you can get through this process, all right? >> Okay. Can you please take my arms out? >> no, no. You got to come out and take it out of here. >> You can have I'm not being difficult. I just cannot move. >> Oh, my god. >> Just just just listen. >> Yes, please have my feet. >> They're out of the vehicle. >> Okay. Now, what about your feet? We got to get you in here. Okay? All right. >> By the end of it, Addie Sharma, 34 of Tampa, was taken into custody and transported to the Hillsborough County Orient Road Jail. She was charged with disorderly intoxication in a public place causing a disturbance, a first-degree misdemeanor under Florida law. And if that wasn't enough, she was also trespassed from Tampa International Airport for 1 year. That means no airport, no rental cars. >> Yeah. So, that's that's that's that on that first one, man. Listen, if you can't control your alcohol, then I I, you know, don't drink. Please. Do Do not drink, man, at the airport. Cuz you messing everything up. How you get trespassed from the airport, man? You can't even go to the airport. This [ __ ] is crazy. Let's go, man. Let's get into the next one. >> February 12th, 2026, officers were dispatched to Tampa International Airport after reports of a disturbance aboard an incoming flight where a woman had allegedly slapped another passenger. >> Hey. >> How are you? So, what's going on? >> Um so, we have like a mom probably in her 50s traveling with her son who's probably 6 or 7 and a grandma. Um the mom has acted kind of crazy shaking the seat in front of her. She reared back and slapped really hard the grandma. Um and a passenger saw it. And she is she went to the back lav. What they just locked and closed on them was in it. She was kicking it. Um they have been calm. I did have another crew member sit close so she can monitor. During taxi and landing she's been okay. But there is an elderly person involved and a child. So I I can't >> they're all traveling together? Where did this happen? Was it right after right after takeoff? >> No, this happened like before landing recently. >> So were you in state of Florida you would say or >> Yeah. Yeah, I mean it happened within the last hour. >> Within the last hour? Okay. I guess would you be able to point them out to us as they come off? >> I will they're 22 Delta do you want me to just go get them? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> Come on, granny. She hit granny? That's that's insane, man. Which is her mom. Wow. >> How's everybody doing? We're going to go talk when we get to the top. Ma'am, over here. Ma'am, come over here. Cuz me and you need to talk. So what's going on? Is that your mom? Is this your mother? >> Yeah. >> So what happened on the airplane? >> About what? >> Did anything happen on the flight between you and your mother? >> No time. She just I didn't sleep. She did not take her medication. >> She didn't take her medication? >> I was very upset because I can't I can't find them. They're very difficult and very difficult to to find them. >> To find her medication? >> they told me that she didn't take them. >> Okay, cuz we got reports that you may have slapped her. >> Yeah. >> Did you Did you slap her in the face? So you got you So you got upset? >> WHAT THE [ __ ] WHAT IS SHE SAYING? I can't understand what she's saying, man. Listen, you know it's bad. You know it's bad when you hitting your loved ones in public. It's bad that you hitting your loved ones anyways. But it's like it just hits different when it's like when it really in public because if you doing this stuff in public, just imagine what you doing behind closed doors. Right? Let's say for example, you out and about, you minding your own business, whatever. And in the street, you see a woman hit her man, right? Boom, slaps her, what or slaps boom. Or you see a man just punch his girl, right? You like, "Yo, THIS IS CRAZY." BUT KEEP in mind, this is in public. So just imagine the abuse that's going on at home behind closed doors. I can't understand what this lady saying, but what I did understand was that she was mad about the mom ain't taking her meds or whatever, so she reached back and pimp slapped her, man. That's wild. >> Cuz she forgot her medications? Do you got Do you live in Florida or do you live in California? Do you live here in Florida or California? >> Yeah. >> So you live in California? Okay, do you have a ID on you? Okay, we'll figure it Can I just see your ID? Can you tell me what happened? Can you tell me what happened on the plane that obviously got Okay, I understand that, but obviously police got called. >> Police? >> Yes. Police officer, yes. >> She is She had too much surgery. >> Too much surgery? >> Surgery and she sleep on nervous. >> Okay. >> And I have surgery, I sleep. >> Now how the hell grandma speak better than the younger one? Damn. >> [clears throat] >> You know? >> I put drop. I finished my drop yesterday. >> Mhm. >> She She talked me, "Okay, you not talk me no more drop. Okay, okay." >> Mhm. >> It's That she is >> Mhm. >> normal. >> Did Did anything happen on the plane physically? >> Yeah. >> Something physical? >> Okay. >> But what happened? I understand you're you're saying okay it's okay. Because if you don't tell me other people are going to tell me. And I I want to hear from you what you have to tell me. >> Sorry, my English is terrible. >> Ooh, Español? >> Listen, your English is a lot better than your daughter's. So, we going to take it. I can understand you, grandma. >> So, what what do you speak? >> I speak Bulgarian. >> Bulgarian? Okay. Um >> Bulgarian? >> Did Did she slap you? She slap you? >> No, no. That she is That she is first time. >> Oh, I >> No. >> Okay, so she did. Okay. >> No. >> All right. Do you have ID? ID? >> I have ID. >> Yeah, here. >> Hi guys. >> Hi, did you witness >> Yeah. >> Do you mind walking up here with me? I'm just going >> No, of course, man. I'll I'll [ __ ] you, yeah. >> All right. >> I didn't realize they were calling for me. >> It's all good. Yeah, we just wanted an independent person. >> Yeah. >> I got you. >> All right, what did you see, bud? >> Um, so basically, I mean, she was acting a bit erratic the whole flight. >> Okay. >> You know, I guess the suspect or whatever her name was. >> In what way? Drugs or just nervous? >> but she looked like I guess nervous and was very like erratic, you know? >> Okay, so the >> When I saw what occurred, basically, she was like kicking the chair in the kind of in front of her, got up and then just slapped her on the left cheek with the right hand. Just like slapped who? The older lady over there. >> Sitting next to her? >> Sitting next to her, yeah. >> Were they having words? >> They were having words like the whole flight. That's part of what I was trying to say in the beginning, yeah. >> Okay. So, they were they were back and forth with each other. And who is it sitting where? >> Uh, lady who slapped was sitting in the aisle. Lady who got slapped, older lady, was in the middle. >> Okay. Um >> Kid that I didn't know about on the right side. >> So, basically she's being >> How the hell you got grandma sitting in the middle seat? What the heck? The middle seat is the worst. How you going to have grandma sitting in the middle seat? It would make the most common sense to me to either have the little one sitting in the middle seat, you know, or mom got to bite the bullet and and and sit in the middle seat. You can't have grandma sitting in the middle seat. Grandma need to either be in the aisle or the window. >> And irritated the whole flight. >> Yeah, more or less. >> About an hour ago, she stand She stands up or she's sitting down when she did >> No, so I'll just basically enact it. Sitting here, starts like shaking the chair in front of her. You could ask the guy I guess I don't know, maybe too late, but the guy in front of her was annoyed with her, too, but starts shaking it, kicks the chair, gets up, stands there, and then just bam, starts to punch her face while they're having a >> One time? >> One time. >> But it happened once. >> Big one time, but then I immediately I saw that and I went boop, and then the guy came pretty quick, but she was still standing there when that guy came. >> You do me a favor and stand up? >> Yeah, stand up. >> Just put your hands behind your back. You're going to be placed under arrest. >> No. >> Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Grandma Grandma mad. >> Control 146 can you show us 10-15? You have your grandson with you. You got your grandson with you. >> Look at your grandson. >> Hey, go get your grandson. >> He only has one hand. >> No, please. >> Don't make it Don't make it worse. No. No. No. No. No. You're going to make it worse. You're going to make it worse. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop it. >> Damn, where the father at, man? The father got to come, man, save this kid, man, because this this is nuts. >> I sleep here. >> Stop. You're going to make it so much worse. >> Child the child. >> I sleep here. >> You You got your hands on the kid. >> I sleep here. I sleep here. I sleep here. >> Stop. >> I sleep here. No. No. No. >> Come on, buddy. >> I sleep here. Where are you supposed to go? They can't go anywhere. >> Yeah, they still got to the hotel. >> No, they can't go there. >> Is there anybody else here? Any other family here or friends? >> No. They can't go anywhere. You want them to stay here at the airport. No. where where am I going to let someone What what should I do? I said I apologize. >> It doesn't matter. You're in You might like you want to take it out on him, but not put your hand >> It's just one time, not a lot of times. >> It's a battery on a domestic situation. You can't touch family members. You can't even touch anybody else. They don't want to be touched like that. You can't do it. Watch your step, Brooke. >> I don't feel like sitting down. >> You want to go You want to sit You want to go backwards. Did you double lock these? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Watch your head. >> Huh? >> You're going to want to turn to the back, and you're going to want to slowly sit down, okay? >> All right. >> Cop cars are tight back there, man. >> Okay. >> She was charged with battery on a person 65 years or older. Share your thoughts in the >> Yeah, that's insane. That's insane. Imagine just hitting your mom in front of your kid, too. You know, these people, man. You know that child going through it.
