What's in that bag down there? It's just trash. Goodbye 113. [Applause] Go. So, the the girlfriend said that she had a car load of friends who see you there. They're on the back side of Wawa waiting for an Uber. That's probably where she went to go pick them up. [Applause] Look at this guy playing chess over here. He parked in our lot. Went to Waw Wa so he can make a left out of here. That's not the No, it was a Dodge that almost made the left in there. No, he's it's a the Tesla right there. He came in. Oh, okay. He walked over there and got right back in his car. He's used it on a lot, so he I bet he makes a left here cuz you can make a left out of ours. I thought he was I thought you were talking about the the Tundra, the gray Tundra there. Oh yeah, that was definitely this guy now. [Applause] Yep. Chess. Good move. I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that before. [Applause] I've seen him cut through the parking lot to come in the back entrance. Seen that a million times. Is that what she's saying? No, the the people who turn down our our lane to come into Wawa. [Applause] They were having like a party in back here, huh? [Applause] Go for a towel, right? Yeah. [Applause] Headquarters. Here's the road to the toe. [Applause] Toe is up next. is is up next. Did she not call for the toe? Not roof. That's her way. Telling you up next. Do you need to tell there [Applause] for John? Yep. I'll do it. Wondering. It's Saturday morning. Did she even make it to the first test? I'm sorry. Did she even make it to the first test? No. Started uh started crying. Said couldn't do it. He tried the one leg stand. She tried that a couple times and didn't didn't get anywhere. HGN, she wouldn't hold her head straight or still it's going to be high. But I was able to get the the lack of uh lack of smooth pursuit. [Applause] [Applause] Did you just grab me a couple more of these bags? I got like three more. I don't I don't like those. Yeah, but usually those we can just photo throw out. Just put them all put them all in one bag and then take a picture of them and throw them away. Yeah. Yeah. Otherwise, they're going to I mean, don't keep alcohol, especially old 17 it destroy it. Yeah, I would I would take the the empty uh I mean it's the empty 12 pack the empty 12 pack and just freaking put all the empties in in there. Yep. And I got the bottle on the Yeah. Yeah. But you're just going to bring it back to headquarters to photograph and to throw away anyway. So doesn't matter how you bring it back unless like unless you're collecting something for actual evidence. Those two you can put in one bag just to just to bring it back. We're going to It's going to get destroyed anyway. He doesn't want that in the the evidence room. He was complaining about the fish tank the other day. Fish tank. Yeah. He's got a somebody somebody threw a fish tank at somebody and they charged him with weapons offenses. Have it spill all over your car. What can I What can I do for you? Nothing. No. I parties. Okay. What's up? Nothing. I'm just so worried about her. Just go wait in the the lobby. There's no sense in me standing out here being cold. The car is getting towed. Shut up. Is it? Yeah. Is it getting repoed? Not repo. Towed. Impounded. 12 hours. Because she's strong. Where did you park? Just go out this way. Go in the headquarters lane there and park right in the front. Wait in your car. Wait in the lobby. We're going to be out of here in a couple minutes. I parked over here. Can I get my arrival? You parked in the Waw Wa part? No. No. I parked in behind behind police headquarters. Yes. where the signs that say do not enter or authorized vehicles only. You went in that way. I didn't go through the do not enter. I was too scared. Okay. We didn't want you to go through there. So, you parked at Wawa. Just building. [Applause] Yeah. We can't have you talking to him right now. There's really no sense of just standing here and being cold. a recognizing test. No, we're talking about something different. Another one. Something different. Just tried to make it left. Going the wrong way. You haven't had anything to drink? Now, now that we're standing here, I smell alcohol on you. They've been drinking Pip, Britney, all of them. Oh, I can smell it on your breath now that you're standing close to me. I'm watching you stand here. You going to pass dust? I don't think you're going to put yourself [Applause] down. How you have any problem with your eyes? I have I've been having high pressure. So, okay. My vision is going to Okay. But what I want you to do, I want you to put your legs together, hands at your side, maintain that position till I'm done with the test. Okay. Okay. All right. You see the tip of my finger? Yes. I want you to follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes alone. All right. Keep your head perfectly still. [Music] Keep your head perfectly still. Okay. I'm sorry. All right. Turn your head just a tiny bit. Make it straight with mine. Leave it right there. Okay. [Applause] You see it? See it? All right. What I want you to do, get take your hands out of your pockets. I want to put your right foot in front of your left. All right. Maintain that position till I'm done. Explain the test. For me, that's terrible. What's What's terrible for you? I'm on sitting just as a person. I don't do it. All right. Hands at your side. Maintain that position till we're done. I'm done explaining the test. All right. What I want you to do, I want you to take a series of steps. Foot in front of the other. Yep. Touching each step. Count. Hang on. Maintain that position till I'm done explaining the test. All right. Good. You're going to count each step out loud. One, two, three, and so forth. When you get to till you get to step nine. All right. When you get I I'm not even lying. Like, I'm on balance. When you get to step nine, you're going to take on this yellow line. If that's better for you, that's fine. [Applause] I didn't tell you to begin the test yet. All right. Okay. Get back into this start position. Right foot in front of the left, touching heel to toe, arms at your sides. Maintain that position till I'm done explaining the test. Do you understand? Yes. Okay. I'll start from the beginning. All right. Right foot in front of your left, touching heel to toe, hands at your side. Maintain that position till I'm done explaining the test. You're going to take series of steps, counting each step out loud. 1 2 3 and so forth. When you get to nine, you'll be in this position, right? You're going to take a series of small steps pivoting on your left foot. Oh, do I start yet? Don't start yet. Okay. And you're going to do nine steps back. One, two, three. Oh my god. Are you going to tell me the alphabet backwards, too? Do you understand the test? Yeah, I understand the test. Okay. Whenever you're ready, you can begin the step. Go ahead and take your pen out of your pocket. [Applause] I'm not balancing. I can't right foot in front of your left. I swear I just came here for my girlfriend and I understand that. If you pass all the field sobriety tests, you won't you won't be arrested. Okay. But you're you're not doing too well so far. I know I'm not. How you deal with that? Go ahead. No, I can't. Might as well arrest me. I got one more test for you. All right. And I'm going to get complicated like put your hands at your side, feet touching leg just like that. Maintain that position till I'm done explaining the test. Do you understand? Yes. All right. Whichever leg that you feel comfortable with. All right. I want you to raise it approximately 6 in off the ground. Maintain that position till I'm done explaining the test. Do you understand? Okay. Whichever leg that you feel comfortable with, maintain the position until I'm done explaining the test. I have I'm not done explaining the test yet. Oh, yeah. All right. Right. So, I'm I'm raising my right foot. You're going to 6 in off the ground. I'm going to count out loud 1,00 1,002 1,003 and so forth until I tell you to stop. Do you understand the test? I'm just saying. Okay. Go ahead. Whichever leg do you feel comfortable with? How much did you have to drink tonight? Like last night, it's just wearing off, which is fine. How much did you have to drink last night? Last night I want to say like I'm going to keep it honest with you. I'm not a liar. So, okay. Shots. Shot. How many shots? What was it? Like four. Four shots. Yeah. And how long? And what was the last time you Oh, that was that that was last night. What What time last night? Um, what time is it now? 8:00 in the morning. 8:30 in the morning. 3:00 a.m. All right. So, you had four shots at 3:00 a.m. Okay. All right. Um All right. Go ahead and go ahead and put your arms behind your back. All right. I'm going to place you under arrest for driving intoxicated. Where's your car? Car's over there. Is it in our station? Yes. You go. My keys are right there. Where are they? Right there in my phone. My wallet. My Yeah. Where's your car? It's cars over there. You'll see. Is it It's a blue Nissan. Additional 41. All right, hang on. Oh my god. This is going to be on my license. Uh, yeah. Hang on a second. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me or stick me? Oh, no. You're good. You're good. I promise. I promise. Check me. Uh, vape. Vape. We're going to leave that in your pocket for now. All right. Okay. All right. Go ahead. My mom's going to kill me tomorrow morning. Ow. Um, I have a a question. What's the matter? Uh, these are not to be a complainer like that, but these are kind of tight. It's We're going to we're going to be next parking lot and we're going to be back in Can you pull up my pants? I feel like my stomach is out. Better. Yeah, thank you. Watch your neck. I'm out of your way. I'm just going to back up over here and pull him out. He's going to be pulling out. I want to get out of his way. Yeah, I I mean I can back this way and go that way. I'll hang with him. I'll hang with him. All right. Sorry. Oh yeah. Yeah. Thanks. Will my car be fine? I'm sorry. I said, "Won't my car be fine like when I sober up?" Like, so you have you'll have 12 hours from now to uh to pick it up or I'm sorry. Nothing will happen to No, nothing's going to happen to it on like Mariah's. On what? Like and Mariah's like hers get towed. Well, yours is going to get towed, too. Am I going to be in the same cell with her at least? Uh, no. 11798. So, where did you park? 117. I parked far actually. 117 to 98. Is it back? Is it back here? It's going to be in the municipal parking lot just on the other side of our fence. All right. It's in the municipal lot. It's It's next door. We're send over there to get that one, too. Sorry. Headquarters. Do you see it? Yeah, it's it's next door. Okay. I'll be transporting one female 41 10 three from my location starting 50 923.5 sorry no it One stops. All right, just hang out right there for me. We're going to go 41. It's going to be Papa 23 Victor Lima. Can you lift up my pants? It keeps falling. Get grab the back of the cuff there with your hands and hold them up yourself. Watch your step. Thank you, sir. Turn left. Have a seat right here on this this chair. All right. What's that? No, you can't have your phone right now. Take a minute before Yeah. Hi. You guys together? Yes. Okay. All right. Um, your mom? Yeah. Can I have yours? All right. So, this paperwork, uh, how much do you how much do you know at this point? Um, well, I know she's been drinking and I had been calling her all night long, even this morning, like freaking on her and stuff. And then she called me cuz she's supposed to work today. She called me saying, "Oh, uh, Amariah got pulled over for a DUI." I said, "Well, what about you?" And then I was calling her and calling her and calling her and then Yeah. So, we ended up we received a call from somebody next door at Waw Wa here um that there was some type of dispute in the in the parking lot when we arrived either I I got there a little bit after so I don't know what who the dispute was whether there was an actual dispute probably with them too but uh is Amariah Amariah was placed under arrest um Marissa at that point wasn't under arrest you know didn't exhibit signs of intoxication at that point. Uh we explained to her it's hey that you know uh Anamaria is going to need a need a ride. You can go to police headquarters. It's right next door and then wait there in the lobby. And then we would be doing this essentially with between her and an Anna Maria Mariah. Um and thank you. No problem. So, while we were still um doing field sobriety tests on on Amariah and she was placed placed under arrest, Marissa ended up walking back. So, she moved her car from Waw Wa to next to police headquarters here and then walked back and then while she was standing there, we started detecting the odor of al, you know, alcoholic beverage on her, sworn her words a little bit. So, I don't know if like the the time frame like when she last when she last drank, she said she took four four shots at about 3:00 am. I seem to think it was probably a little bit closer to when we actually got called there. Um, but we ran her through the through the tests and, you know, she's she was under influence. So, if I had it my way, I wouldn't even be getting her right now. My son passed away four months ago yesterday. And ever since then, it's been on with this [ __ ] Like you when you bring her out, you better cuz I don't even know. I have been fighting with her, arguing with her, giving her ultimatums. Like, she has been putting me through absolute hell. And I've been telling you're going to get a DUI, then you're going to ruin your life. You think you're going to work in the medical field with this? Right. I've been telling her, right? until I'm blew in the face. Last night she took off at 12:30 last night. She was home sleeping because somebody supposedly stole Amariah's car. Well, like you know what I mean? Like the [ __ ] show is insane. Now, is anybody picking up Amariah or am I? I don't know. Um, she was actually brought to another another agency to to do the box because when when you run the Ala test, it it takes a little bit of time. time. It takes about 45 minutes for the entire process and um it's we only have we only have one so it's almost easier to just bring the other she could be on her own. Um yes I don't mean to be mean but Mr. Slow down. Sorry to interfere. Uh the mother did call. She's supposed to be coming to get her. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Waiting for us to call. Okay. All right. Um All right. So All right. So good. I do want to say Marissa's been very very respectful. No, not at all. Don't get that. Come on. I want to see that on video. Very, very respectful, you know. Um I don't know if she understands the whole No, she probably didn't even call that a work. She lost her job. She is a pathetic alcoholic and I have no tolerance for it. A party is a party. Okay. But the party isn't every What's the [ __ ] holiday? Monday. Like I'm p like I'm angry. Um, so this this is a potential liability warning. Um, essentially what it's what it is is that you're going to be taking responsibility for her. You're not going to allow her to drive for for at least the next the next 12 hours. Um, so I just need a signature from you. Okay. And um, on this line and then um to get her car out of impound. I mean, she just bought this car cuz she got a good job. Yeah. Like whatever. So that can't happen probably until Monday. Um, well, actually, technically speaking, she'd be able to get it at 8:30 tonight because it's 12 hours from the time of arrest. Will they be open? I don't know. I'll let you know which which toe company it is so that you you know, you'll be able to make arrangements with her. Um, I'll make a I'm going to make a copy of your license. I'm going to make a copy of this and I'll I'll give you the original. Okay. Um, and then I'll I'll bring her around. She did get she did get summoned for uh driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. In New Jersey, anytime you're driving under the influence, you're recklessly driving. So, they go hand in hand. Um I wonder if this will be the wakeup call. Probably not. I don't know. I I can't I can't tell you whether that's going to happen. I am. So, you don't know that you're right. I believe it. I believe it. All right. I'm gonna uh like I said, I'm gonna make a couple copies of this and I'll I'll walk her around. Okay. All right. Both of you. So, there's your driver's license and the the paperwork that I had you signed. And then is there anything at the towyard I need to hand them? Oh, um you know what? Uh Kim who it was accurate towing, right? Correct. Do you have a a card for them? Yes, I do. Okay. So, um once it's been once it's been the 12 hours, it'll be so 8:30 tonight, it'll be available to uh be released. They you you can go there, they will call us and say like, "Is the vehicle released?" And we'll say, "Yes, you'll be able to you'll be able to pick it up." Yeah. It's the weekend. I I've been down this road with her father at Accurate Towing. They're not going to be able to get the car until Monday. Okay. Good luck with those charges. All right. Thank you, that you have to pay. Thank you. Oh, did you think, sunshine, you were just going to get a DUI a dozen roses and walk the [ __ ] out of the door? Get your [ __ ] ass out the door. You're pathetic. Good luck, Marissa. All right. Deactivate. Nobody is getting Amariah but her mother. That's it. You're now. How you getting her? Start walking then. What's going on? Did you bring Mr. Mr. Do you remember his name? Mr. Why do Mr. Turner? Oh, he's not actually Marissa. MRI is being picked up by her mother. All right. She might have already been been picked up. So, you can make arrangements later on to meet up with her if that's what you want to do. But I could get my car at 8 tonight. No, I called Accurate Towing. No, not even tomorrow. It's Sunday. You have to wait until Monday. The only thing they're doing is towing. They're going to be closed 8:30 tonight. So, you can't get it tonight. Nobody's going to be there except for emergency towing. Tomorrow is Sunday. Nobody's working except for emergency towing. You have to wait until Monday. And oh yeah, it's going to be Monday afternoon cuz I got to take that one somewhere in the morning. Just bring me to jail. I need a vacay. That's no big deal. Can't I just like go in solitary or some [ __ ] Oh, sorry. Why? Just coffee. That's all I need. Coffee. Can you put your seatelt on and go with your mom, please? This your German is. And you think all of this is funny? It's not funny. Here. Here's the buckle. Has been very intoxicated since four months ago. I try to get him together, right? This is the one who wanted no alcohol at her birthday party cuz she didn't want to see people drunk. Now look at you, Allison. Calling you Allison for alcoholic. You're going to make me do to you what I did to your brother and turn my [ __ ] back on your ass. Is that what you want? All the way out here from Browns Mills to help you. If she didn't care, she wouldn't be here. Take this as a learning opportunity. All right. It's Sergeant Burway and I see it daily with people who I don't know how who drink and drink themselves to death at at young ages. My uncle was 47 years old when he dragged himself to death. Liver shut down, kidneys shut down, everything. It's very painful, very painful way to die. And it's even worse to watch somebody that you care about. And like I keep saying, there's nothing more disgusting than a girl that's a drug addict or an alcoholic. There's nothing worse. I mean, it's bad for the guys, too, but there's nothing worse. Cuz all she'll ever be is abused and used and all that crap. All for what? Vodka. For [ __ ] vodka. I thought he was going to just drive on the water. So, are you good, Marissa? We can leave. You should be thanking your mom right now for coming to get you here. Did you say thank you? Say thank you. Thank you, Mom. [Music] I wish you the best of luck. All right. But you got to you got to want the want the decision to to straighten out yourself. Please get yourself some help. This is not going to end well. It's not going to end well for you. You're too young for this. Yeah. I mean, I can see I was at every like growing up. When did I even keep alcohol in the house? Oh, a family party. If we went to a party, okay, I was always the sober one because I had young kids. I should be drunk every My kids are grown. My one is dead. You're grown. I shouldn't have to worry about this. I should be having the time of my life. I did my job. This is all your decisions, not mine. I did my job. I know what I'm doing. So, you tell me something. Was it you and Amir that were fighting in the parking lot? That's why I walked fighting. Oh, no. No, we weren't. I paid I was supposed to be broke. You I was even on the phone with you. You mean I was screaming at you to get your ass home or sleep somewhere and even if it's in the car? I told you not to leave in the first place 12:30 at night cuz the whole thing about the mirror's car getting stolen was [ __ ] It was a [ __ ] lie. I just want to help. You can't help somebody who doesn't want to be helped. She don't want help. She wants to keep running with them people. Let her So much was easier than that. No, really, it's easy. You're bad for me. I'm losing everything. Peace. And you go in a corner and you cry and you get over yourself and you move on. How could you be in love with somebody that's constantly dragging you down? But that's not love, bro. I'm not good myself. Exactly. I keep telling you if you're not good, you're not going to attract anybody that's good. You're just you're not. If you're good and you're doing good, then you'll be amazed on the people. You can make friends with Mr. Jacob Jeremy. You can make friends with anybody. You can have good people in your life. And oh, guess what? You know what? And when they go to a bar or have a party, they they know when is when. That's what you don't know. When is when. didn't wake up the next day and continue like this job that you want in the medical field. Do you really think you're going to go far with a DUI on your record, Marissa? Really? They don't want people like you. Do you think I would have been able to have been a nurse if I had DUIs? You're going to go home. You're going to sleep. There is absolutely nothing we could do about your car today. It's going to have to wait until Monday. I will drive you to work tomorrow morning and I will pick you up. And no, Amariah is not coming to the house. Just so we're clear. Just so we're clear. Try me, bro. Like you can pack your bags and go. Thank you. Oh, okay. They'll wait for your car. So, is this it? You're done with all your [ __ ] We can go home now. Or are you thinking about it? Well, you're not getting Amariah. Amariah's mother is getting Amariah. The other lady police officer told me that when I was talking to him, her mother already called and made arrangements. Her mother's going to get her. She She has a ride and she might even already be picked up by now. She called me. How could she call you? She's in police custody. If she got picked up, and why would she call you after all the drama Marelissa used to? She's the one that started it. I was just trying to be there. I drove to pick her up because she needed a ride. No one damn well I got work at 5:00 in the morning. I just wanted to be there. Marissa with the people that she's choosing to hang out with. This isn't her first rodeo of them throwing her out of her own car and abusing her. And they didn't even hang out. They they bailed before we got there. But just be the only two people that were left there were you. All the all the cans, all the bottles in the car. All the friends left before we got there. She does not know that he called the police. He was just concerned for what she had told him. You weren't even supposed to go out last night. You were sleeping cuz you had work today. She had she said no that's going so I left Marissa it's not the first time with that [ __ ] with this set of people they are no good I don't care about them I care about her okay but Amariah wants to continuously hang out with them are her best friends that's how she feels they beat her up they take her [ __ ] they take her car they leave her in God's country all the time but that's who she wants as her friends. That's who you want is your friends, too. These people that call you a [ __ ] and every other thing. I just wanted to be there for Marissa. You cannot like I tell you, it's get really hard to help somebody who doesn't want to be helped. That means me to you. It's very hard to help you when you refuse any type of help. And it's the same thing for Amariah. You cannot help somebody who does not want to be helped. You can only try, but so many times. And it's easy. See? Turn your back. Boom. See that? Turn your back again. It may hurt. I'm not saying that. I'm not artless. But in that situation, I could be. You're dragging me down like that where I'm getting arrested. Peace. I'm out. I'll never see you again. She broke up with her the first week cuz she got me dressed. Yeah, that was the first time you broke up with her when you were teenagers. Remember that? Yeah, I'm not as gangster anymore. Um, has nothing to do with being gangsters. Having morals. It's wanting stuff out of life. Are we good, Marissa? Are you going to give me any problem? Take a nap on the way home. Come on. They got to get back to work. I got to get back to Beimma. Beimma's in the house all by herself. Calling an Uber to go where? To go someplace you're not wanted? Can't call any to go someplace where you're not wanted. You think Amariah's mother wants you there? I'm not the one that did this. It doesn't matter. I'm sure she's blaming you like I'm blaming her. Come on. It's the way it goes. My Uber driver's not going to take you. You think they're taking that liability on? Come pick you up and you're wasted. No way. This is your your only option right now. Especially in Browns. There ain't no [ __ ] Uber coming there. Sorry. There's no Ubers coming to get you. work. Huh? Get a good night's sleep. Go to work. You said she's got work in the morning. Yeah. Go to work in the morning and start new. It's so much easier said than done. No, it's very easy. And then you have to worry about your next step, which is Monday, getting your car out of impound. Then you have to worry about the next thing, the tickets, your court dates, and all that. That's why she didn't work. Well, I didn't get a copy of this chicken. Oh, she has. Yeah, she has. You got DUI and reckless driving. Hello. This has been your main goal, right? Yeah, sweetheart. You got arrested for a DUI. I'm pretty sure that was explained to you 55 times. It was. She's getting she's getting intoxicated. My car is going to get [ __ ] some [ __ ] It's not repo. It's impounded. No, but it's going to get taken away from me. It's not going to get taken away from you. You got to get it out of Yes. You got a lot of charges that you have to face. You think your insurance is high now? Wait. No, I can't. This is not what you need to be worried about. You need to worry about getting home. All right. Mom's here to take you home. No Uber is taking you in this condition. No. And what's going to happen if you stay here with us? You're probably going to go to the hospital and then you're going to sit in the hospital all day cuz they're not going to even look at you until you're a zero. And that's gonna take about 18 hours. So, this is your best option right now. My insurance is going to go up. No, sweetheart. They're going to lower it by 250 a month because you're just such a good person and you do everything according to the law. Can we go now? No, because it already went up. What? This is the last of your concern right now. You had bigger fish to fry than your insurance. You're going to have a suspended license and everything. I'm a Wait, what the hell? So, get you got a DUI. I'm going to have a suspended license probably. Absolutely. Yes, you got a DUI today. Do you understand that? Driving under the influence. So, nobody's coming to pick you up. You're gonna be screwed if if you leave your I'm not leave. I'm not leaving. But my my license is going to be suspended. Probably if you if you get convicted, turn around. We're going to close the door. Take a nap. Come on, Marissa. I got be a home alone in a hospital bed, bro. Let's go. Enough. All right. Good luck to you. Watch your Watch your legs. Watch your fingers. Thank you. No problem. Thank you. I wish you the best of luck. Oh, and she's going to come. Don't I have safety kit locks? Get yourself some help, please. All right.
